Zsa Zsa’s Hubby — Our House Was Broken Into!

The Bel Air home of Zsa Zsa Gabor and Prince Frederic von Anhalt was allegedly broken into this morning — and the Prince chased off intruders with a bat … this according to the Prince himself.

According to the Prince, it happened around 3:00 AM this morning. He claims two men broke in through the back of the house, waking him up. The Prince says they got as far as the living room, but he chased them away with a baseball bat.

The Prince says the guys didn’t put up a fight when he came at them, but that he fell while chasing them and hurt his hip.

The Prince thinks the guys must have been there for a while before he discovered them because he believes some paintings, a laptop, a camera and some of their statues are missing.

Zsa Zsa Out of Surgery, Leg Successfully Amputated

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s leg has successfully been amputated by doctors at UCLA Medical Center … TMZ has learned.

According to one of Zsa Zsa’s doctors, three quarters of her leg was removed during the surgery today — starting from just above her knee.

We’re told there were no unexpected difficulties and she’s expected to heal just fine — but docs are monitoring her closely because of her age.

As we previously reported Zsa Zsa’s husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt green-lit the procedure to remove a life-threatening infection.

No word yet on when she’ll be released.

Zsa Zsa’s Husband Green Lights Risky Surgery

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, just signed paperwork allowing doctors to perform a life-threatening operation on his wife.

Von Anhalt tells TMZ … doctors will administer anesthesia to Zsa Zsa today … something “very risky,” according to her doctors, because of her age.

Once she’s under, doctors will perform an MRI to figure out their plan of attack in removing a blood clot. If they determine it can’t be removed, von Anhalt says doctors will then amputate half her leg.

Life-and-Death Decision for Zsa Zsa

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband has to make a decision today that could determine whether Zsa Zsa lives or dies.

Prince Frederic von Anhalt tells TMZ … he has to decide whether to allow doctors to operate on his wife’s leg – which was badly infected because of a blood clot.

The docs have said putting the 93-year-old Zsa Zsa under anesthesia and operating is “very risky” … the doctors say there’s less than a 50% chance she’d survive the procedure.

The Prince says the other option is continuing the antibiotics for the next 3 months. The problem there — the medication could destroy her kidneys.

Von Anhalt says he hasn’t decided what to do, but he feels the pressure because a decision must be made by tomorrow AM.

Zsa Zsa’s Hubby: She’s Having Half Her Leg Amputated

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband tells TMZ he is rushing Zsa Zsa to the hospital because the blood clot in her leg has spread so much … half of her leg needs to be amputated.

Prince von Anhalt tells us he has called a private ambulance to take Zsa Zsa to the hospital. Prince says doctors advised him before the holidays to take her in and have the surgery done, but Zsa Zsa refused …saying she wanted to be home for what could be her last holiday.

Zsa Zsa’s husband says doctors came again today and said that if he didn’t take her in today, she would lose her life.

As we first reported, Zsa Zsa was hospitalized back in November after she complained of pain in swelling in her legs. That’s when doctors discovered the “massive blood clot.”

Zsa Zsa Goes to Hospital — Not Life Threatening

Zsa Zsa Gabor has been taken to a hospital, but sources tell TMZ her condition is not life threatening.

We’ve learned the person who called 911 from Gabor’s house mentioned flu-like symptoms and body pain.

We’re told a private ambulance has taken Gabor to the hospital, without emergency lights flashing … an indication her life is not in immediate danger.

Zsa Zsa Rushed Back to Hospital

TMZ has learned … Zsa Zsa Gabor has been rushed back to UCLA Medical Center.

Zsa Zsa’s husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, tells TMZ, “I just called an ambulance.  She has to go back to UCLA.”

The Prince says Zsa Zsa was unresponsive and clearly in distress.

An ambulance is on the scene after 911 was called.

No word yet on the nature of the emergency.

Zsa Zsa’s Husband — Bedridden After ‘Blacking Out’

TMZ has learned …  Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband — Prince Frederic von Anhalt — has been confined to the bed next to his ailing wife after he “blacked out” and collapsed at their Beverly Hills home last night.

A rep for the couple tells us Von A-Hole was “doing stuff around the house” when he “felt dizzy and fell.”

We’re told one of the nurses assisting Zsa Zsa saw the Prince on the floor and rushed to call a doctor.  The rep tells us, “Prince is suffering from exhaustion and is not able to use his arm right now. It’s really bruised up.”

Doctors told Prince that he hasn’t been getting enough rest recently — and advised him to stay in bed for the next few days.

As for Zsa Zsa — the rep tells us she’s “still bed ridden but is eating a little, talking a little and sleeping a lot.”
