Vanessa Hudgens says it’s “fun” looking out cute guys

The 22-year-old actress – who separated from Zac Efron after five years in December 2010 – is enjoying being single and isn’t worrying about finding a new boyfriend as she is enjoying concentrating on her career.

She told E! News: “I think it’s really important to love yourself and truly just be happy with yourself and just kind of let the rest of it fall into place.

“It is fun to go look at cute boys. But at the same time, I like being single. I feel like I have all this time for myself to be able to do these roles.”

When she is not checking out hunky guys, Vanessa can next be seen in gritty movie ‘Gimme Shelter’, in which she plays a homeless pregnant teenager.

The actress is virtually unrecognisable as she sports a new short cropped hair cut, which the brunette beauty styled herself.

She said: “It’s really intense. I’m still getting used to it. I play this girl who is homeless and she doesn’t really care about her look. I kind of look like a boy throughout the whole movie.

“In the beginning, my character cuts her hair and we were cutting it and it didn’t look like I was cutting it myself, so I grabbed the scissors and started cutting my actual hair.”

While she was happy to transform herself for the role, Vanessa admits she misses her long tresses.

She said: “I miss it. My sister is, like, my best friend and she naturally has, like, the longest hair, so whenever I’m around her I’m giving her the evil eye.”

Vanessa Hudgens wants to launch a lifestyle blog.

The 22-year-old actress is not sure she wants to commit to a social media forum such as twitter – despite having a verified account on the site – but would like to keep an online journal of her opinions on fashion and beauty.

She told website JustJared: “I don’t know about twitter. I don’t want to tell people what I’m doing every second. But I do want to start a blog on my Facebook.

“It’d be fun to blog about fashion, beauty, and just things I like. Kind of a lifestyle blog.”

As well as wanting to write a blog, Vanessa – who split from her ‘High School Musical’ co-star Zac Efron in December after five years of dating – recently revealed she would love to star in TV musical drama ‘Glee’.

She said: “I totally would. I’m all for musicals. I love what they are doing. I’m very go with the flow, so if it happens, awesome!”

The brunette beauty will have plenty to write about in her new blog as she told pals at the Cannes Film Festival that she is planning to relocate to New York from Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old actress – who split from her ‘High School Musical’ co-star Zac Efron in December after dating him for five years and has most recently been linked to Josh Hutcherson – doesn’t “need a guy” to be happy and is enjoying discovering more about herself.

When asked if she is looking for a relationship, she said: “No, I’m really happy embracing this moment. Right now I feel so happy and I have so much going on, I don’t necessarily need a guy.

“Whether I’m single or not, this is an amazing time in my life. I’m a young woman and I’m exploring who I am.”

The ‘Sucker Punch’ star admitted she thinks there is more pressure on women then men in Hollywood as they get older because grey-haired actors are seen as “sexy”.

She said: “I think women still get the pressure more because when men age, it’s sexy – they get to have their grey hair.

Law enforcement sources confirm with TMZ … it was none other than the FBI that met with Vanessa Hudgens yesterday about the nude photos that were hacked from her Gmail account.

The FBI went to Vanessa’s lawyer’s office to meet with her in Century City, CA. The meeting lasted more than an hour and agents got info that we’re told leads to one individual who may have hacked 50 A-list celebs.

Vanessa Hudgens — More Nude Photos Surface

A second round of naked photos featuring Vanessa Hudgens have surfaced on various websites this morning — and these photos are WAY more graphic than the other ones.

Sources connected to Vanessa tell TMZ the photos were taken from the same batch that were released several years ago featuring the actress … fully nude.

As TMZ previously reported, Vanessa sued the owners of a website back in 2009 for posting the first round of nude pics. The lawsuit stated that the photos were obtained by “unknown methods” and posted without Hudgens’ “knowledge or consent.”

Sources tell us … Vanessa believes whoever is doing this “has it out for her” because the release of these photos in dribs and drabs coincides with her movie releases.

Vanessa’s new movie “Sucker Punch” is coming out later this month.

As for taking the pics in the first place, one well informed source tells TMZ, “Trust me … Vanessa has learned her lesson.”

The pair – who ended their five-year romance last month – fuelled rumours they have reunited with their flirty behaviour at the opening of SHG’s Eden Hollywood when they arrived with mutual friend Brittany Snow late in the evening.

A source told People magazine: “Vanessa was bopping around with her arms up while Zac had his hands all over her. Vanessa had a smile on from ear to ear and the two were inseparable after that.”

Following their public display of affection on the dancefloor, Zac, 23, and 22-year-old Vanessa then retreated to a table – and grew even more affectionate.

The insider explained: “Zac sat in between her legs and she wrapped her arms around him. They were making out on and off for the last hour or so until closing. They acted like there was no one else in the room.”

The former couple narrowly escaped being pictured together but as the ‘17 Again’ hunk leaned in for a kiss, Vanessa pushed him away after spotting a fellow reveller with a cameraphone.

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud‘ actor split with his long term girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, in December last year and friends have laughed off rumours he is going out with Rumer Willis - daughter of ‘Die Hard‘ star Bruce – saying he’s happy on his own.

A friend of the 23-year old actor told website hollywoodlife.com: “Zac broke up with Vanessa to be single. He’s not going to rush into another relationship.”

About rumours Zac was romancing Rumer after they were pictured looking “cozy” on a Caribbean New Year’s holiday, the friend added: “I wouldn’t read into that get together as anything more than friends.”

Soon after Zac and Vanessa split, sources said they were confident the couple may get back together again in the future, and he reportedly dropped in to see her in Los Angeles earlier this week.

A source said: “They realise that they both can trust each other, and there will be a bond between them forever. I’d be shocked if they don’t get back together someday.”

‘Twilight’ leads nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Awards.

The vampire movie franchise’s third instalment ‘Eclipse‘ dominated the award’s movie categories when they were announced yesterday (09.12.20) with eight nods including Favourite Movie, Favourite Movie Actor for stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and Favourite Movie Actress for Kristen Stewart, among others.

The awards also honour Music and Television stars, and the nominations saw Eminem and Usher included in the Favourite Male Artist category, while Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are all in the running for Favourite Female Artist.

Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber are both nominated for Favourite Breakout Artist, alongside B.o.B.,

Kesha and Selena Gomez and the Scene.

Upon hearing of her nomination, Selena tweeted: “Oh my gosh!!!! I am so excited you guys nominated me and The Scene for this year’s People’s Choice Award! (sic)”

TV show ‘Glee’ picks up a nomination in the Favourite TV Comedy category alongside ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Modern Family’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Winners of the People’s Choice Awards 2011 will be revealed during a live broadcast from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on January 5 next year.

Zac Efron feels “awkward” next to his “stunning” girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens

The 22-year-old actor – who has been dating his ‘High School Musical’ co-star since 2005 – revealed while he often feels uncomfortable next to the brunette beauty, she is the only person who he doesn’t drive mad.

He explained: “Dating Vanessa makes many things much easier, because you understand each other without having to explain a lot. In terms of planning, I am very picky – worse than any woman. I drive everyone mad, except for Vanessa, she is always very understanding.

“The only disadvantage is that she is always dressed so stunningly that I look awkward and stand out.”

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ actor admitted while he knows 21-year-old Vanessa is the one for him, he won’t be rushing down the aisle anytime soon, and plans to wait until he is at least 40 until he gets married.

Speaking at designer Bunmi Koko’s show at London Fashion Week, band member Brooke Adams – who is good friends with Zac’s girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “We’re over in London for five weeks and we love it here. Last night we got to go partying with Zac after the premiere of his movie as I’m really good friends with him and Vanessa so he invited us to go out with him. We went to Mahiki and had such a great time. We danced to some 80s music and just had fun, but we’re all a little delicate today! And Zac just loved all of the other girls and he really likes our music as well.”

Brooke – who is joined in the group by Mandy Jiroux, Dominique Domingo, Noreen Juliano, and Laura New – also revealed she expects to be bridesmaid when Zac and Vanessa eventually get married, although she doesn’t think it will be time soon.

She said: “I’d love to be part of the wedding party but I don’t think they will be getting married soon as they’re both so young. But they are really happy together and they’ve been an item for over five years, which is a long time. I think they’re meant to be though and they’re two of the nicest people you could meet.”

He explained: “I went backpacking over Memorial Day weekend (at the end of May) and I just got the worst poison oak. It was my first time getting it. Dude, it’s like everywhere – everywhere! A witness at the club told the New York Post newspaper: “Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were dancing.

“They ordered one bottle of Belvedere vodka and were enthralled with the dancers. They were interacting a lot with the girls and reaching out and showering money on them. There were three girls who Zac and his friends particularly liked and they asked to do personal dances at their table.”

The source continued: “The girls were all slim pretty brunettes, a bit like Zac’s girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens. They were two Americans, called Shannon and Brandi, and a gorgeous Brazilian called Raquel.

“Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3am.”

The next day Zac attended the New York premiere for his new movie ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ – in which he stars alongside Kim Basinger.

Kellan Lutz has the Best Summer Body.

‘Twilight’ actor Kellan Lutz has been named the male star with the Best Summer Body, according to Men’s Health magazine.

The ripped ‘Twilight’ star has topped a list compiled by the editors of MensHealth.com to find the star with the perfect beach body.

The 25-year-old hunk beat toned actor Matthew McConaughey and his muscular ‘Twilight’ co-star Taylor Lautner to the top spot.

David Zinczenko, editor-in-chief of Men’s Health, said: “All of this year’s finalists have a deep commitment to working out, staying fit and eating smart. They have a variety of workout regimes from boxing to weight training, kayaking and hiking to training for marathons. They’ve worked hard to achieve and maintain their amazing bodies – which is why they’ve earned their place on this year’s list.”

Other stars to make the final 10 include Zac Efron, who came fourth, Jake Gyllenhaal – who was placed at number eight after bulking up for his role as Prince Dastan in ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’ – and Daniel Craig and Channing Tatum, who finished ninth and tenth respectively.

Zac Efron has no plans to marry Vanessa Hudgens.

The 22-year-old star – who began dating the brunette beauty after they met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005 – doesn’t want the “pressure” of making an official commitment to their relationship until he is much older.

He said: “No, I’m not going to get married for a while.

“I think I’ve always said I’m not going to get married ’til I’m 30. I’m going to wait. I wouldn’t want that kind of commitment or pressure at this point.”

The Californian hunk recently admitted the reason his five-year relationship with 21-year-old Vanessa has worked so well is because they have kept it private and try not to let attention bother them too much.

Zac said: “Not much of it is public to be honest. We don’t talk about it other than the fact that it exists. We just try to keep it to ourselves, which is what we take a sense of pride in because we don’t need to share that.

“During ‘High School Musical’ I didn’t know how to handle it, but if you just live your life and keep doing what you do and don’t care if they take pictures – they can’t slow you down.”’

The ‘High School Musical’ star – who has been dating her co-star in the Disney movie series for the last four years – admits she is grateful they started their careers together.

She said: “We got lucky because we started off together, so I think people like us because they fell in love with our characters. Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable. I mean, he wasn’t the guy that he is today. Like, he had a gap in his teeth. He was a whole different person.”

Despite the early chemistry between Vanessa and Zac, the 21-year-old actress-and-singer isn’t ready to take their relationship to the next level and move in with the ‘17 Again’ star.

She added to America’s Glamour magazine: “No. I mean, maybe… maybe house-hunting for houses on our own. I mean… which, I’m not. And he’s not, at the moment. So no. No. I just bought my house two years ago, and I adore it.”

Since getting her big break in the ‘High School Music’ movies the young star has also appeared in teen movie ‘Bandslam’.

But although her film choices have been for younger audiences, Vanessa is ready to move onto something more challenging.

She said: “Before ‘High School Musical’, I wanted to be a nitty-gritty actress. And ‘High School Musical’ came along, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, fun!’ When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way, but at the end of the day, I’m doing this for myself. I’m going to be doing movies kids can’t watch.”

Cheryl Cole is the celebrity most searched for on mobile phones.

The Girls Aloud singer has been named as the personality most searched for by people playing on the internet on their telephone handsets, and her ‘Fight for This Love’ video has been crowned the most downloaded song and video clip.

The 26-year-old beauty strolled ahead in the results – which were put together by the Orange Digital Media Index (ODMI) – and received over 40 per cent more phone searches than ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus, who came second, and ‘Twilight’ hunk Robert Pattinson, who was placed third.

Paul Jevons from Orange, said: “Mobile searches are a real barometer of fame and reflect the public’s fascination with celebrities when on the move.”

Cheryl also fought off stiff competition when she topped the most downloaded music tracks and video download polls.

The Black Eyed Peas song ‘Meet Me Halfway’ was the second most sought after track, while Lady Gaga’s single ‘Bad Romance’ came in third.

Robert Pattinson made another appearance in the top 10 video downloads, as droves of fans of his ‘Twilight’ movies downloaded the ‘Twilight: New Moon’ movie trailer – making it the second most popular video.
