Paris Hilton’s boyfriend bought her a ruby and diamond necklace for Valentine’s Day (14.02.11)

The hotel heiress admitted she was spoilt by Cy Waits on the romantic day as the nightclub mogul treated her to expensive gifts as well as taking her for a romantic meal at BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles.

Speaking about her Valentine’s treats, Paris tweeted: “Just got home from a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner with my love. He gave me the most beautiful ruby and diamond necklace. Loves it. (sic)”

She then added: “I love Valentine’s Day! So romantic and sweet!  Hope everyone is having a lovely evening. xo Paris. (sic)”

Earlier this week, Paris – who turns 30 tomorrow (17.02.11) – insisted she had never been happier because her career is going well, she’s in a great relationship and is fitter than ever because Cy has become her personal trainer.

She said: “Life is great at the moment! I have my new show, ‘The World According To Paris’, starting soon; things with my boyfriend are great; and now I have a new weekly workout, which I love.

“Me and Cy have been training together for the past three months. It’s all new to me. I used to hate working out, but I started because it was something we could do together. I wanted to try something he enjoyed. He makes it fun for me.

“It’s great, because I get to spend time with Cy and we’re so happy together. We’re either in the gym or playing tennis and are always laughing, so the time just flies. And now I’ve realised how important it is to look after my body.”

The 32-year-old actor, who plays a florist in the movie ‘Valentine’s Day’, admitted he and wife Demi would not be marking the romantic occasion as they are so busy with their charity work.

Speaking at the European premiere of the movie in London’s Leicester Square last night (11.02.10), Ashton told BANG Showbiz: “We don’t really do Valentine’s Day. Demi and I decided the best way we could share our love was to share it with other people. We set up a foundation called the DNA Foundation to help trafficking victims.

“There’s a group in New York that helps these girls off the streets, and get their life going again. So we’re meeting them on Valentine’s Day this year. We’re gonna do something special for them.”

Despite not celebrating the day with his 47-year-old wife, Ashton does think it is a “great opportunity” for others to show affection.

He said: “I don’t think it’s easy for anyone to show emotions. Valentine’s Day is this great opportunity because we go all year long feeling these feelings and having these thoughts in our head and sometimes we feel like we’re sharing them but we really aren’t.

“On Valentines Day we really get to manifest some of those unspoken things.”

The supermodel – who raises four children with her husband, Leni, five, Henry, four, Johan, three and Lou, four months – will not be spending the romantic occasion with her spouse as she is away filming TV show ‘Project Runway’ but is planning a special package to show she is thinking of him.

She said: “I’m making a very fun box of heart things. Kind of like an explosion of things; confetti hearts with cute underwear and chocolates. It’s a fun surprise box for him.”

Heidi – who modelled for Victoria’s Secret just five weeks after giving birth to Lou last October – also said she doesn’t understand the preoccupation with women losing weight after pregnancy because it isn’t very difficult.

She told Us magazine: “Everything gets made into so much drama about how a woman has her weight like before. If you’re living your life, not sitting on the couch… a woman will go back to how she looked before she was pregnant.”

Although she shed her pregnancy weight quickly, Heidi insists the benefit for her body is not the reason why she has continued to breastfeed Lou.

She added: “I never looked at breastfeeding in terms of, ‘This is something that helps me.’ Breastfeeding helps my child. The after-effect, yes, you lose your weight in a normal manner. I think people blow it out of proportion.”

The actress – who is dating Justin Timberlake – admits she and the ‘Pretty Woman’ star bonded instantly on the set of their new movie ‘Valentine’s Day’ and can’t bear to be out of contact with one another.

She said: “I hear she has a girl crush on me and I definitely have one on her. I think she is amazing. Although I did panic for a while because I sent her a text and she didn’t reply for a while. But we’re fine now.”

The 27-year-old star – whose romance with Justin has been the subject of much speculation that it is on the rocks – also claimed to have no plans to celebrate Valentine’s Day (14.02.10) with the singer because she is too busy with work.

She said: “Absolutely pick up the cheque. Hopefully your date offers, but that’s just a gesture. You should pick it up.”

The 28-year-old star also advised caution when trying to order on behalf of someone else, especially because women will often sacrifice the foods they enjoy in order to look good.

She explained: “You should talk about it. If she seems like the kind of girl that would appreciate you doing that you can try it but you have to rate her. And you should also order two desserts. You should order the one that she’s going to order and the one that she really wants.

“I probably would want chocolate cake. But a lot of girls, especially in the beginning, will try to order something healthy even though they want something more decadent.”

When it comes to making sexual advances, Jessica always prefers the subtle approach.

The singer – who recently completed filming her first movie, ‘Valentine’s Day’ – has caught the eye of bosses on the hit US drama series who say they would “kill” to get her playing an undead creature.

Developer Kevin Williamson said: “I’m desperate to have Taylor come play a vampire. Wouldn’t she make an amazing Kristen Dunst circa ‘Interview with the Vampire’ type? I cannot tell you how hard I’m trying to get her – I would kill to have her on the show.”

Despite his determination, Kevin believes Taylor – who was honoured with four prizes at the Country Music Awards (CMAs) this week – would turn down the role.

He added to E! News: “She’s too big for ‘Vampire Diaries’ now.”

The ‘Valentine’s Day’ star and his wife were at the after-party for Broadway’s ‘24 Hour Plays’ – where Ashton had been performing alongside Eva Mendes – but the mood turned sour when a fellow guest started to mock the couple’s relationship.

A source told gossip blogger Perez Hilton: “Demi and Jennifer Aniston were happily sitting together in the VIP area when this guy starting really obviously making fun of Demi and things like her relationship with a younger man.

“It went on for quite a while. Ashton heard it and approached him. At first he thought the guy wasn’t serious and was like ‘what the…?’ He then realised he was serious. Ashton lost it.”

Ashton, 31, reportedly flew into a rage at the guest while 47-year-old wife Demi looked embarrassed.

The source added: “It got pretty heated, nobody knew what to do.”

When the fight calmed down, the couple and Jennifer left the Crest Lounge’s Opera Ballroom venue through a back entrance.

Demi – who married Ashton in 2005 – recently said she didn’t understand the fuss about her marrying a younger man.
