Taylor Lautner has been challenged to a push-up contest to resolve to a lawsuit he has filed

The 18-year-old actor – who is suing McMahon’s RV, claiming “emotional distress”, breach of contract and fraud after his $300,000 Recreational Vehicle (RV) was not delivered on time – has been urged to show off his physical prowess by the company’s owner Brent McMahon, who denies any wrongdoing.

Brent says that he will pay the actor the $40,000 he is seeking in damages if he can beat him at push ups, and further said he will donate the money to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, California if he triumphs in the test of strength.

The owner also said he will strongly defend his case in court if the actor doesn’t accept the challenge. Lawyers for Taylor declined to comment on the legal action, in which the ‘Twilight Saga’ star has claimed his customised vehicle did not arrive on the set of his new movie ‘Abduction’ by the specified date of June 21, and required further work after it was finally delivered..

Taylor, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the ‘Twilight’ franchise, has previously told how he is happy living at home with his parents, and wants to retain a normal lifestyle for “as long as possible”.

He said: “I help out with the lawn, garbage, dishes. When I come back, I have extra mowing to do. It’s very important to me. I describe it as I live two different lives. I have this life and do what I love to do, but I also have the same exact life as before and nothing has changed.”

Taylor Lautner’s Emotional Distress Over Trailer

Taylor Lautner claims he’s suffering from “emotional distress” and “annoyance” … because his RV trailer wasn’t delivered on time.

In a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Lautner claims he made a deal with McMahon’s RV to purchase a personal trailer for around $300,000 … a trailer he could use while shooting his new movie, “Abduction.”

According to the suit, the deal was that the trailer would be tricked out and delivered by no later than June 21 … but it wasn’t.

Lautner claims breach of contract and fraud and wants unspecified damages.

Taylor Lautner is embarrassed by his muscles.

The ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ actor – who underwent months of physical training to bulk up for his role as werewolf Jacob Black in the franchise – gets overwhelmed by the attention his physique receives from fans.

He said: “It has become embarrassing. It doesn’t annoy me but people do tend to ask about it a lot. To me it’s just part of the character. It’s not like I can take it off!”

It has previously been claimed that the 17-year-old star would like to become a personal trainer if his acting roles dry up.

A source said: “His self-esteem shot through the roof when he bulked up for ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ and he wants other people to experience that feeling.”

One person who would love to train with the actor is Justin Bieber, who is said to be working with a fitness expert to get a physique like the star.

A source said: “Justin’s positive he has the intensity and focus to get the same results as Taylor.”

Taylor – who put on over 30lbs for his part in the film franchise – has previously said his motivation for the muscle gain was the “movie and the fans”.

According to the official website of the British National Movie Awards, this event will be held on 26th May 2010 and will be aired on ITV1.

The six different categories for the British National Movie Awards 2010  are as follows:

It seems a very tough competition for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and co-star Taylor Lautner for the award of Best Performer of the Year. British National Movie Awards is based on votes from the public, who make their choices online and on the phone.

The ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ was handed the Favorite Breakout Actor accolade from Taylor Swift- who he recently split from following a brief romance – at the 36th Annual People’s Choice awards show held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and was later seen giving her a standing ovation when she picked up her own honour, for Favorite Female Artist.

Taylor’s award was not the only one given to the vampire franchise – which also stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart – as it was also recognised as Favorite On-Screen Team and Favorite Franchise.

Sandra Bullock was a big winner at the ceremony, beating Kristen and Jennifer Aniston to be named Favorite Movie Actress and her film ‘The Proposal’ was named Favorite Comedy.

Speaking of her wins, she said: “I am only up here because I am fortunate to work with people who make me look good. Thanks most of all to my family… life is hard sometimes, but we get through with laughter.”

Other winners included Johnny Depp, who won the Actor of the Decade and Best Actor, and Lady Gaga, who was honoured in the Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Breakout Music Artist categories.

The ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ actor – who stars as vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie franchise – quashed the constant speculation romantically linking him to co-star Kristen Stewart, insisting he is too boring to be the subject of true stories.

He said: “I am single – almost everything that comes out about my private life is false.

“I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing. While I am filming, I live practically like a recluse in a hotel.

“I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life.”

The 23-year-old British star recently said he was lucky-in-love because he always gets dumped.

Speaking of his vampire character Edward, he said: ” He doesn’t know what to do. It’s this typically male attitude when you find somebody you’re in love with and your own doubts just keep messing up again and again. And then you realise as soon as you’ve messed up, you only have a few chances!

“I’m like that every time! I’ll do that with every relationship I ever have. As soon as I like them I start beating myself up to a point of ridiculousness and then they hate me to the point of dumping me.”

The 19-year-old star, who is currently living with her parents, has just bought her first house and is planning on kitting it out with homeware from the UK capital’s trendiest shops.

She said: “I have just bought my first home in Nashville. So I will go out soon, and live alone for the first time in my life. If I find some free time in London, I would like to buy furniture and accessories. I’ve heard that there are great antique shops in Portobello Road.”

The ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ star – who is believed to be dating Kings Of Leon rocker Jared Followill – has revealed she believes her blood-sucking on-screen persona Alice Cullen would have a much more fulfilling sex life than she does.

She said: “Take the best sex you’ve ever had in your life, multiply it by 100 and that’s vampire sex.”

The 22-year-old actress was desperate to star in the popular vampire franchise and wishes she was more like her character.

She explained: “Oh, my God, I wanted this part so badly. So when they told me I got it, I tried to play it all cool, you know, for about a minute.

“I love absolutely love Alice, my character. She’s sweet, sexy and a killer. I feel if I was in a real fight, I’d get my a*s kicked.”

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty has revealed there is another film franchise she wants to appear in.

She explained to Maxim magazine: “I want to hit up James Bond. That would be awesome.”

The ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ actress is a huge fan of martial arts and says it makes her feel empowered when she practices her skills on men.

She said: “I think part of it is that it’s really empowering and part of it is because it’s fun. It’s incredible to see what your body can do and what you’re capable of and not needing a weapon to defend yourself is a really great thing.

“It puts my dad at ease and gives him a little piece of mind. I started doing martial arts when I was really young and I ended up sparring with boys instead of girls because I was that into it and I didn’t want to beat up the girls. It’s a fun thing and I’ve always been really athletic.”

Ashley, 22, is planning on increasing her martial arts training after being put through her paces by the trainers on the third instalment of the vampire franchise ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.

She told America’s OK! magazine: “I’m definitely going to get more involved in it. When we were filming ‘Eclipse’ we had fight training for about six weeks, so that kind of re-sparked that bug. I had a personal trainer on top of that and they had us do mixed martial arts fighting as well.”

The ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ actor says fellow pupils used to ridicule his acting ambitions, which affected his confidence but he refused to give up on his dream.

He said: “I was never extremely confident. Because I was an actor, when I was in school there was a little bullying going on. Not physical bullying but people making fun of what I do… I just had to tell myself I can’t let this get to me. This is what I love to do. And I’m going to continue to do it.”

The 17-year-old star – who gained 30lbs of muscle ahead of shooting the vampire sequel – also insisted the female attention he receives is for his character, werewolf Jacob Black, not himself.

He told America’s Rolling Stone magazine: “This could have happened to anybody who played Jacob. I was just lucky enough to be the one that has the opportunity. I’m so grateful. It’s ‘Twilight.’ It’s not me personally.”

Despite his youth, Taylor has impressed his ‘Twilight’ co-stars with his maturity.

Kristen Stewart said: “He’s so picky. I was the first person who got him to eat sushi. He’s very set in his ways. But that is very informative of his personality. He’s very steady. He has a really solid sense of himself.”

The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star and her friends went to a movie theatre in New York to watch ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ but ruined the experience for the rest of the audience because of their constant chatter.

A source told FOX News: “Katie talked through all of ‘New Moon’. It was unbelievable – they talked non-stop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realised who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie.”

It is not the first time excessive noise has been a problem for a member of Katie’s family.

In September, her three-year-old daughter Suri burst into tears at a Beyonce Knowles concert in Australia when the singer took to the stage to perform her hit ‘Crazy In Love’.

Suri started crying, hiding her face in Katie’s coat to escape the bright lights and noise.

As soon as the track was over, Katie and Suri hurried out of the stadium, returning 15 minutes later with a pair of industrial ear-muffs for the toddler.

A source said: “We were all a bit shocked when they left after the first song, but they were back before long, with Suri wearing a huge pair of earmuffs.

“She was much happier after that, and clapped and danced to the rest of the concert.”

The 19-year-old actress – who plays Robert’s character’s lover in the first movie in the series – understands why fans would want them to date in real-life but a there is a difference between fiction and reality.

She said of her handsome 23-year-old co-star: “I get why fans want to know more about the cast as real people and they want us to be together and all of that.

“I just have to sort of not think about that. People have a hard time separating us from our characters.”

Kristen also confessed she is a control freak and used to worry about how she publicly came across, but now claims she doesn’t care what people think of her.

She told Parade magazine: “As soon as I stopped trying to control everything that came out of my mouth and every picture of me that came out, that’s when I became so much happier.

“It wasn’t like some big turning point, I’ve just grown into being able not to care as much. I realise that I’m not going to be able to influence the way everybody perceives me.”

Rumours of Kirsten and Robert dating circulated again last week after their ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ co-star Peter Facinelli linked a photo of them holding hands at a Paris airport to his Twitter page.

He wrote: “Co-stars caught holding hands. Guess this picture proves everything.”

‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke also recently claimed the pair were in a relationship, saying: “I didn’t have a camera in the hotel room. I cannot say. In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn’t happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.

“I think it took a long time for Kristen to realise, ‘OK, I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.’ ”
