Is Cheryl Cole Scared Of Being Single?
by cyan on Sep.28, 2010, under Relationships, Singer
Cheryl Cole is scared of being single.
The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer found it tough following her split from cheating husband Ashley Cole earlier this year, but always knew dumping him was “the right thing to do”.
The Girls Aloud beauty said: “It’s a very different feeling being out there on your own. Slowly but surely I’m finding my feet.
“It was scary and exciting at the same time, but definitely the right thing to do.”
Since the separation, Cheryl, 27, has been romantically linked to professional dancer Derek Hough, and she admits the handsome star has been the perfect person to help her get through life without England soccer player Ashley.
Derek, 25, helped her recover from deadly tropical disease Malaria during the summer and temporarily moved into her home to help care for her.
She said: “Derek is a sweetheart, the kind of person that makes the day more enjoyable. And that’s really important when you’re on set doing a video for 18, 19 hours – maybe longer.”
The singer – whose second solo album ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ is released next month – also revealed she felt completely betrayed by Ashley, 29, after learning of his infidelities but she has now moved on.
She added in her new book ‘Through My Eyes’: “Yes definitely I do [feel betrayed]. But I’ve got to take everything that’s happened and learn from it. I accept that’s a chapter of my life that’s finished.”

Sarah Harding – Wants To Play A Villain In The Next James Bond Movie
by Kavy on Dec.22, 2009, under Singer
The Girls Aloud singer – who recently starred as a schoolgirl alongside Rupert Everett and David Tennant in the movie ‘St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold’ – dreams of playing a villain in the next movie about the iconic British spy, currently played by Daniel Craig.
She said: “I need to work on my skills, that’s the priority. I’d love to do some action stuff. I’d be good as the kind of character that Grace Jones played in ‘A View to a Kill’ – a bad Bond girl! I don’t see myself doing the glamour stuff. I’m kind of edgier.”
The 28-year-old singer-turned-actress – who has been able to pursue an acting career because Girls Aloud are currently on hiatus – also revealed she is very proud of her bandmate Cheryl Cole’s solo pop success.
She added: “We’re all really supportive of each other. I’m proud of her. “We all took this break and you don’t do that without having an action plan. And that’s what Cheryl’s plan was.”

Sarah Harding Thinks “Career First, Then Love Life”
by cyan on Dec.18, 2009, under Love, Singer
Sarah Harding’s work is more important than her love life.
The Girls Aloud singer – who is dating DJ Tom Crane – wants to concentrate on her newfound passion for acting and will give this precedence over her romantic relationships for the next few years.
She said: “I am not engaged – not yet anyway. I’ve still got a few more years in me. I think career first, then love life.”
The 28-year-old blonde beauty recently portrayed schoolgirl Roxy in the ‘St. Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold’.
While discussing her personal life with her co-stars, Sarah decided she has no time to think about her love life now she is a multi-talented star.
She explained: “I am going down a different route and I like to throw myself fully into what I am doing. One of the girls on set said it is hard to juggle a good work life, a good social life and a good love life. You can’t have more than two at once, and it’s true. If I am working long hours I don’t see much of my boyfriend. He is always out so it is tough. But work is my focus for the next two years.”
Sarah also revealed she decided to try her hand on the big screen because she was getting “bored” of singing with the girl group.
She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We have all got other stuff. We get bored. We have been doing it for seven years and we need something else to mix things up a bit. We have all gone out and done other things.
“It means we’ll all be able to go back to the band again and enjoy it. Otherwise it does become like a job – albeit one I enjoy doing. But then it becomes a routine and I am not a routine girl.”

Nadine Coyle: Going To Release Her Debut LP, Next Year
by Alice on Dec.15, 2009, under Albums, Artist, Music, Singer

The Girls Aloud star – who has now permanently relocated to Los Angeles following a year-long break from the band – hopes her fans like her debut LP which she plans to release in the spring.
She said: “I’ve been writing my own songs. It’s been an incredible experience, I’m hoping to release it in the spring.
“I wrote nearly all the songs myself. It’s quite embarrassing when you start songwriting because you are opening yourself up, I think people are going to like the album though.”
The 24-year-old star doesn’t care if her solo work isn’t as successful as Girls Aloud’s music.
She said in an interview with Britain’s Star magazine: “I doubt it will be as big as Girls Aloud because we had to work so long and so hard to get to that level. I’ll just be happy to get the album out there and have it in the shops. After that, who knows?”
Nadine has no plans to move back to the UK because she loves the US and her life with her American football player boyfriend Jason Bell so much.
She said: “I am an LA girl now through and through, so I won’t be moving back to London or Ireland. I love life in America too much. I have my own bar business there and I have a house on the beach. What more could a girl want?”

Sarah Harding Is Suffering From Her Leg Injury
by Alice on Dec.14, 2009, under Artist, Music, Singer

The Girls Aloud star will have to wear a cast over the Christmas period and doctors have told Sarah, who is renowned for her love of partying, to rest up over the next few weeks.
A spokesperson for the Girls Aloud singer claimed she suffered the injury when a car door was slammed on her foot.
However, a source at The Mayfair Hotel suggested that Sarah stumbled out of her bed last week, causing the break.
Last week, she was unable to attend the premiere after-party for new movie ‘St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold’ – in which she plays a troublemaking school girl – because of the injury.
A source said: “She was really disappointed – JLS and The Saturdays had gone back to her bar Kanaloa to help her celebrate, but she had to stand them up because she was in so much pain. She just wasn’t up to it.”
