Nicole Hopes?Nicole Kidman hopes her adopted children will live with her again

The Australian actress – who has daughter Isabella, 18, and son Connor, 16, with ex-husband Tom Cruise – admits she would love it if the teenagers asked to move to the home she shares with husband Keith Urban and their daughters Sunday Rose, two, and Faith Margaret, two months.

Nicole said: “It’s so different because they don’t live with us, but I would love them to come and live with us at some stage.

“They’re teenagers, they’re in a whole different place.”

Though Nicole and Keith, both 43, are happy with their family, the ‘Rabbit Hole’ star admits she would still like to have more kids, but she accepts that may not happen.

She added in an interview on Australian TV show ’60 Minutes’: “I never say never. If you ask Keith, he’d be like ‘No,’ but my sister’s got five kids. Keith’s like, ‘You’re not going to be like your sister, are you?’ I’m at an age now where it’s very hard to have a child when you’re 43. We love what we have.”

Nicole has previously admitted she is saddened by her elder children’s decision to live with their father, his wife Katie Holmes and their four-year-old daughter Suri, but wouldn’t fight their choice.

She said: “They live with Tom, which was their choice. I’d love them to live with us, but what can you do?”

The Australian actress raised 18-year-old Isabella and Connor, 15, with ex-husband Tom Cruise and is saddened by their decision to live with their father, his wife Katie Holmes and their four-year-old daughter Suri, but wouldn’t fight their choice.

She said: “They live with Tom, which was their choice. I’d love them to live with us, but what can you do?”

Though she is upset about her elder children not living with her, she is delighted to have become a parent again later in life, having had daughter Sunday Rose with husband Keith Urban in July 2008.

She admitted: “It’s a beautiful thing at 43 to have a two and half year old!”

Explaining the youngster’s unusual name, Nicole revealed she was named after the day of week that her and Keith most enjoy together.

She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “When we were both alone, before we met each other, Sunday was the day we dreaded most, because when you don’t have someone in your life Sundays can be really lonely.

“Then when we met, we went from dreading Sunday to really loving it. It was the day when nobody was going to bother you, you could stay in bed, you could do what you wanted to do. We just thought, What a great name for our baby!’ “

The Oscar-winning actress – who lives with husband Keith Urban and their two-year-old daughter Sunday Rose in Nashville, Tennessee – is said to spend hours tending to her garden so she can feed her family home-grown, organic produce.

A friend of the star told the National Enquirer magazine: “She likes to have fresh organic produce for their daughter, Sunday. She doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty to make sure that the lettuce and corn come out perfectly.”

In addition to growing vegetables at her home, Nicole recently revealed she has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by raising alpacas in her garden.

She explained: “We just planted our vegetables for the summer. I’m hoping the corn will be beautiful, because I love eating corn out of the garden.

“And we just bought some alpacas. They are sort of the cousins of llamas, which I’ve always wanted because of their long necks and eyelashes.”

Nicole KidmanKeith Urban feels “blessed” to have Nicole Kidman as his wife

The country singer – who has a two-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose, with the Oscar-winning actress – says Nicole is his ideal partner because they both have the same values in life.

He said: “I’m fortunate to have a wife who understands about career as well. We’re very blessed to have each other, and you recognise the importance of all the facets of our lives. But family is very, very strong in our lives.”

While Keith enjoys his music career, he says his family will always be his priority.

Talking about maintaining a balance between work and family, Keith told Parade.com: “I don’t know if there’s any secret to it. Everybody sort of finds their own way to keep their life balanced. I know for me, family is first and I just make sure that I spread my time amongst the things that I love to do as well. Balance is never achieved, it’s just maintained. And so far I’ve been able to maintain it.”

As well as being dedicated parents to little Sunday, Keith and Nicole also take it turns to cook.

He said: “At home, I do a little bit of cooking. My wife and I share the cooking duties a little bit.”

Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban’s Love Life Secret

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban leave each other love notes.

The Oscar-winning actress and the country singer – who have a 20-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, together – are keen to keep the romance in their marriage alive so write heartfelt messages and leave them in secret places for the other to find.

A source said: “Keith has left notes for Nicole under the pillow and in the shower but the most unique time was when he wrote, ‘I Love You’, on a skin of orange in the fridge.

“She’s not as creative and usually hides them in Keith’s pockets, music equipment and even his underwear.”

Keith has previously shown his romantic side by writing a song for Nicole.

The 42-year-old musician and his writing partner Rick Nowels penned the heartfelt track ‘Thank You’ – which includes the lyrics ‘I thank God for grace and mercy, and that you became my wife’ – and revealed Nicole was thrilled when she first heard it.

Keith said: “Rick’s music pulled this story out of me, which became quite a confessional – much more intimate than I might have written had I intended to write about her. It was very instinctual and very much from the heart. We did a quick recording of it, and I took it home and played it for her that night. I think she was very touched.”

Its Hard For Nicole Kidman To Work And Mother Her Daughter Together

by Kavy on Dec.21, 2009, under Actress

Nicole Kidman

The Oscar-winning actress doesn’t want to disrupt 17-month-old Sunday Rose’s schedule too much so has turned down roles so they can remain in their Nashville home.

Nicole – who is married to country singer Keith Urban – said: “I just can never be away from her, so she comes wherever I go, as you see. Have baby, will travel. She’s OK on planes, but honestly, we stay in Nashville a lot. That’s why I don’t work that much. It’s harder now to pack to her up. At 17 months, it’s a different type of travelling. When they’re six weeks, they’re easier to travel with. And you’re breast-feeding, so it’s easy to feed.”

However, Nicole did sign up to star in new musical movie ‘Nine’ shortly after Sunday’s birth and says she has her daughter to thank for the curves she shows off in the film.

She told the USA Today newspaper: “I was wrapped into that dress. I was! That’s when I had big boobs from the milk! That’s the benefit of the breast-feeding.”

by Alice on Dec.14, 2009, under Actress, Children, Family

Nicole Kidman

The Oscar-winning actress had just given birth to 17-month-old daughter Sunday Rose when she started shooting musical movie ‘Nine’ so took her and her spouse Keith Urban to work with her so they could all be together.

The film’s director Rob Marshall said: “She was excited to be part of a company and go back to work right away. And her baby was on set with us. It was beautiful.”

The movie’s choreographer John DeLuca said: “Keith just watched and had this big smile while holding the baby. It was nice to have little Sunday Rose there.”

Although Keith is a huge country music star, he didn’t offer any advice vocal tips to his wife for her singing role.

Rob added to ‘E!’: “Keith was always there, but he stepped back into the background. He just steps back, which is really nice.”

Nicole recently revealed she took on her role in ‘Nine’ to prove there is more to life than motherhood.

She explained: “I’d just given birth, so I was like, ‘OK, I’m still a woman – I want to do this film! And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby.’ I think when you give birth you get itchy to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on.”

by Alice on Nov.24, 2009, under Actress, Singer

Anna Kendrick

The country singer admits he would never rule out a collaboration with his actress wife – who showed off her vocal talents in ‘Moulin Rouge!’ – because they have so much fun singing together at home.

He said: “Would we do something together? I don’t think it’s ever out of the question. I don’t know. We sort of do our own things professionally. But I love singing with her at home. It’s quite nice. She’s a huge inspiration for everything I do.”

Nicole, 42, may not be the only member of his family Keith collaborates with in future.

The singer also revealed that the couple’s 16-month-old daughter Sunday Rose is already showing signs of musical talent.

He explained to America’s OK! magazine: “She’s got some pipes. They’re loud, you know! I think so. I think she sounds quite musical. Sit her at the piano and play and we mash the keys together.”

Keith, 42, revealed earlier this year that he and his writing partner Rick Nowels had delighted Nicole by writing a song about her.

Speaking about the heartfelt track ‘Thank You’ – which includes the lyrics ‘I thank God for grace and mercy, and that you became my wife’ – Keith said: “Rick’s music pulled this story out of me, which became quite a confessional – much more intimate than I might have written had I intended to write about her. It was very instinctual and very much from the heart. We did a quick recording of it, and I took it home and played it for her that night. I think she was very touched.”

Nicole Kidman Loved Being A Mother

by cyan on Nov.18, 2009, under Actress, Mother

Nicole Kidman

The actress – who gave birth to Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban on 7 July 2008 – was amazed at the bust-boosting effect her baby had on her body.

The 42-year-old star said: “They’re not very big, my boobs, so they just became normal size. I loved it! I felt very, ‘Woman’.

“When you’ve had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling.”

Nicole also revealed she is more in love than ever with her husband of three years Keith.

She said: “I love being in love. I believe in the power of love, the way it can heal. The more you keep choosing it – because there are times when you can choose to be angry at the person or to love him – the more it nourishes a family.”

Nicole – who was previously married to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise – used to enjoy the fictional lives of her film characters more than her own life, but says that has changed now.

Nicole – who made 20 films between 2001 and 2008 – told Ladies’ Home Journal magazine: “My imaginary life was better than my flesh-and-blood life. That’s a sad thing to say, but it was. Now I love my real life so much it requires an enormous belief in a film to want to take it on.”

Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban Thought They Were Very Old To Have Babies

by cyan on Nov.10, 2009, under Actress

Nicole Kidman

The celebrity couple – who married in 2006 and have 17-month-old daughter Sunday Rose together – didn’t believe they would ever have babies because they met each other later in life.

Keith – who like Nicole celebrated his 42nd birthday this year – said: “We’re immensely blessed with Sunday. I think neither of us was ever sure we would have kids. We didn’t get to meet each other in our 20s or 30s, so we thought maybe that’s not our journey, we’re fine with that. But it’s such a miracle to have her.”

Keith also admitted he and Nicole haven’t ruled out having more children in future, even though they are happy with their current family set-up.

He added: “ We’re very grateful and not pining for anything more than what we’ve got. But if another was to come, Nicole and I would be very happy.”

The couple went through marital problems when Keith spent three months in rehab for alcohol addiction shortly after their nuptials.

Although the family are now happy, Keith says their relationship isn’t easy and admits they have had to work hard to make it a success.

He added to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “The union we’ve created is something we both want to work on. It is beautiful to be in a union with somebody that is equally loving and passionate, and who wants the best for the other person. We want the best for each other and we support each other to do that. I have never had a situation where I have been willing to do whatever it took to work things out. To find myself in a relationship with a person who is equally willing has been an absolute miracle.”

She explained: “My life has been about exploring types of love. I’ve explored obsession, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage and monogamy. But I’m still on that journey.”

Despite the fascination people have with her love life, the 42-year-old beauty has vowed to take the details of her past relationship with Tom to her grave.

She told Britain’s GQ magazine: “I have never discussed the intricacies of it and I never will.

“I burned most of my journals after I remarried. You’re only going to find out bad things. You can’t read somebody’s diary. You shouldn’t read it.

“I know I live inside some rose-coloured cloud but I’ll never waver on it. I am not writing a book. I will go to the grave with all my secrets, all my stories.”

Nicole Kidman Was Warned, Marrying Tom Cruise Would “ruin” Her Career

by cyan on Nov.04, 2009, under Actress

Nicole Kidman

The Hollywood actress – who was married to Tom for 10 years from 1990 after meeting on the set on ‘Days of Thunder’ – believes her acting success was boosted by her romance with the actor, despite her advisors insisting she was making the wrong decision in tying the knot.

She explained: “I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody. I did a lot of good, worthwhile work in Australia between the ages of 14 and 19 and then I married someone famous. And really, despite the huge profile that brought to me, I was still finding my feet.

“My agents at the time were like, ‘Do not get married! It will ruin your career!’ And I was like, ‘But I’m in love!’ “

Despite Nicole’s new-found fame when she was just 23, she insists she only married Tom because they were hopelessly in love.

She told Britain’s GQ magazine: “All I know is that I want someone interested in fame. And that’s not why I got married. I wanted to work with people who intrigued me.”

Following their divorce, Nicole went on to marry singer Keith Urban, with who she has a 15-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, while Tom – who has two adopted children with Nicole – has three-year-old Suri with wife Katie Holmes.
