Victoria Beckham is craving marmalade

The singer-turned-fashion designer – who is pregnant with her fourth child with husband David Beckham – has developed a hunger for the sweet orange preserve, accompanied by cups of English breakfast tea.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Victoria is having a lot of tea and toast with lashings of marmalade. She can’t get enough of the stuff.

“Mostly she’s been having it on toast, accompanied by lots of cups of tea.”

The 36-year-old star suffered from bad morning sickness whilst pregnant with her first three children, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five, but this time round she is not feeling so ill.

The source added: “She’s not having morning sickness like she has done before.”

The former Spice Girl is around four months pregnant, with the baby due in the summer.

Earlier this month, Victoria tweeted her excitement about the impending new arrival, saying she and David were “very excited”.

She wrote: “Thank u so much for your kind and beautiful messages!!! we are all so happy and very excited!!!!!! x vb x (sic)”

Victoria Beckham is on a waistline-expanding diet in a bid to get pregnant.

The former Spice Girl – who already has three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz, with her soccer superstar husband David – wants to add a daughter to her family and has taken up a new eating plan loaded with carbohydrates to achieve her dream.

The 35-year-old star – who is known to predominantly eat fresh fruit and vegetables and steamed fish to maintain her slender figure – has been munching on pasta dishes, brown bread, rice and meals which include potatoes.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “It’s no secret Victoria and David want a little girl. She’s been told by docs her diet, though healthy, would not give her the best chance of conceiving, particularly in her 30s.

“Instead she has been advised to eat a lot more carbs and fatten up. She has agreed and David is over the moon.”

Although Victoria has agreed to overhaul her diet to conceive again, she won’t be gorging on any foods which are too calorie laden.

The source added: “She draws the line at junk food.”

In February, it was reported Victoria had become broody for a baby girl after her younger sister Louise announced she was expecting her fourth child.

A source close to the family said at the time: “Louise has just told everyone she is expecting and Vic has immediately become broody. She and David have always wanted a girl. He’d love more kids.”

Corey Haim has died.

The ‘Lost Boys’ actor was found unresponsive at the Los Angeles apartment he shared with his mother at 3.30am today (10.03.10), according to KTLA TV.

Canadian-born Corey, who was 38, is believed to have passed away from an accidental drugs overdose at the property in Oakwood, near Burbank, California. His mother was present at the time.

The star was taken to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to sources at the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood Division.

Coroner’s Lieutenant Cheryl MacWillie has already revealed an autopsy will be carried out to determine the official cause of death.

Corey shot to fame in the 80s after appearing in ‘Lucas’, werewolf movie ‘Silver Bullet’ and cult vampire film ‘The Lost Boys’, which also starred Kiefer Sutherland.

He also briefly dated former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in 1995.

Corey had made no secret of his battles with drug abuse and in 2000 he confessed to taking large quantities of the sedative Valium every day.

But he appeared to be a battle he had won and in 2004 he claimed he had overcome his substance abuse problems, saying: “I’m clean, sober, humble and happy.”

The former Spice Girl – who lives in Los Angeles with her soccer star husband David and their three sons, Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz – is said to have called the Girls Aloud beauty to console her after raunchy photos of her Chelsea player spouse Ashley ended up sent to a glamour model’s mobile phone.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Victoria just wants to make sure Cheryl is OK. The offer’s there – and you can’t get a more relaxing and private environment than Vic’s Los Angeles home.

“If Cheryl needs some time to think and reflect, the Beckhams’ is the place to go.”

Cheryl – who became friendly with Victoria during the 2006 soccer World Cup in Germany, in which both their husbands were in the England squad – is reportedly furious after the explicit photos were sent to single mother-of-two Sonia Wild in June 2008, from Ashley’s unregistered pay-as-you-go mobile phone.

However, the soccer star – who is out of action for three months after breaking an ankle – insists he did not send them and instead lent his phone to a friend, who gave it to another pal, who then sent the raunchy images.

He said: “I gave a phone away that still had stuff in its memory. I thought I had deleted it.

“I can’t believe I did it and would laugh if my foot did not hurt so much.”

Friends say the news is a huge blow to Cheryl as the couple have been rebuilding the trust in their relationship following claims in 2008, Ashley had cheated on her with a hairdresser.

A spokesperson for the couple insists everything is fine between them.

The former Spice Girl splashed out £2,000 on the pet pooch for the soccer star and gave it to him during the family’s festive celebrations at their UK home Beckingham Palace, in Hertfordshire.

The as yet unnamed mutt will soon be flown out to Los Angeles to live with the couple and their three sons – Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz.

Victoria, 35, chose that particular breed because it is synonymous with the fighting spirit of the England soccer team and the country.

A family friend told The Sun newspaper: “David absolutely loves the bulldog. Victoria said she chose the breed because it is a symbol of David’s spirit on the soccer field. He will be flown out to Los Angeles so the boys can look after it when their dad is away.”

The dog is the third canine addition to the Beckham household. David, 34, already has two Rottweilers named Snoopy and Puff after rap superstars Snoop Dog and P. Diddy, formerly known as Puff Daddy.

David and Victoria spent Christmas Day (25.12.09) with their children, British TV chef Gordon Ramsay, his wife Tana and their four children, David’s parents Sandra and Ted, his sister Joanne and Victoria’s parents Tony and Jackie.

The Bulldog is one of the UK’s four national animals and during World War II British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was commonly referred to as the ‘British Bulldog’ and characterised as the animal to represent his unbreakable spirit.

The soccer ace – who is married to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham – isn’t a fan of “crowd participation” and gets nervous when he goes to dinner with Eva Longoria Parker because she likes to get everyone involved.

During an interview US TV star George Lopez, he said: “Eva’s got this whole thing – and her husband Tony – about playing games… I get so uncomfortable with crowd participation. We were at dinner once with Tom and Katie… We sat there and everyone was like, ‘Let’s play a music game – let’s start a singing game.’

“That’s my worst nightmare. I kind of get uncomfortable with it.”

David also gave George an impromptu haircut after the host asked the fashion conscious sportsman – famous for his many different cuts – for some style tips.

David, 34, said: “If you want me to give you some kind of haircut – my mum’s a hairdresser so I’ve inherited that a little bit.”

He then took off his suit jacket and gave George a “bro-hawk”.

Last year, Victoria revealed she and David participated in a conga with Tom and Katie following David winning the title with Spanish team Real Madrid in 2007.

She said: “When Tom and Katie both came to Madrid to watch David when he won the championship, that night we all went to a Spanish restaurant and we were having fun and Tom started serenading Katie. He was singing ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’, which of course he sang in ‘Top Gun’, then we all did a conga around the Spanish restaurant. They really know how to have a laugh.”

The R’n’B star has a huge crush on the “wild” former Spice Girl and admits she would be his dream Christmas present.

Oritse recalled: “She was covered in wrapping paper with a message saying, ‘Please open.’ When I pulled off the paper there was a girl underneath wearing a French maid’s outfit and nipple tassels. She was in her 20s – thank God!”

Youngsters Rocco Ritchie, nine, and Cruz Beckham, four, are tipped to have the most earning power in a new report which assessed the estimated worth of today’s celebrity children in 20 years time.

Rocco, son of the ‘Celebration’ singer and film director Guy Ritchie, topped the four categories in the report – star quality, likely inheritance, talent and love of the camera – getting ratings of ten out of ten for each.

The report also estimated Rocco to be worth £376 million before he reaches 30.

Celebrity expert Mark Frith said: “Rocco will earn a fortune from his mother and a fair bit from dad. But it’s the other three rankings that power him to the number one place.”

Cruz – whose mother is former Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham – beat siblings Romeo, seven, and Brooklyn, ten, to second place in the list.

Both Rocco and Cruz scored highly because they have been spotted dancing at their mother’s concerts.

None of Rocco’s other siblings – sister Lourdes and adopted brother and sister David and Mercy – featured on the list.

British royals, Princes William and Harry, came ninth and tenth on the list – compiled by Cartoon Network – with estimated fortunes of just under £200 million each, but were both embarrassingly awarded zero out of ten for showbiz talent.

The Los Angeles Galaxy soccer player quashed speculation he has grown a beard out of superstition because his team have reached the play-offs, and has revealed the real reason is because he wants to dress as the mutant Marvel superhero – played by Hugh Jackman in the ‘X-Men’ films – for Halloween.

The 34-year-old sportsman – who has sons Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 7, and four-year-old Cruz with his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham – said: “Halloween is coming up and I was thinking of Wolverine from ‘X-Men’. It’s not some play-off ritual. I’m just lazy and can’t be bothered to shave. And everybody keeps telling me to cut it and I’m stubborn.”

While David is proud of his beard, he recently topped a poll for having the worst facial hair in showbiz.

Siobhan McDermott – head buyer of feelunique.com, who commissioned the poll – said: “Bad facial hair can be disastrous for even the best looking men.”

Although David’s facial growth has been met with disapproval, he has received support from the Beard Liberation Front.

The group’s organiser Keith Flett said: “He’s got a retro beard, if you look at it, it’s almost like mutton chops. It’s the kind of stuff soccer players had in the 70s. It’s an interesting choice because he could have gone for the designer style beard that is trendy and fashionable.”
