Kim Kardashian thinks it is “harder” to date sportsmen

The brunette beauty – who recently confirmed she is dating NFL star Miles Austin – said she would never date another footballer after ending her relationship with Reggie Bush earlier this year, but is determined to make her romance work this time around.

She said: “The reason I said I didn’t want to date football players was because they have very strict seasons and schedules and it makes a relationship really hard when you’re living apart. That’s not to say it’s impossible to make it work… it’s just harder.”

The socialite also insisted being constantly followed by TV cameras for her family’s reality show hasn’t been a problem for anyone she has dated.

She said: “When we are filming, we literally shoot for hours and hours every day, so it’s almost impossible not to reveal your personal relationships on camera. If you date me during filming it just kind of comes with the territory.”

The 29-year-old star most values honesty in a relationship and has advised people to stay true to themselves when making romantic decisions.

She added to website Celebuzz: “My biggest relationship tip is to trust your heart, learn to compromise and always be honest. A lot of the time you can lose sight of things when you start letting other people into your relationship. Everyone wants to be involved, or give their two cents on the situation, but only you really know the ins and outs of the relationship.”

Kim Kardashian is “happy” with her new man.

Lamar Odom – who married Kim’s sister Khloe in September 2009 – is delighted by the socialite’s romance with Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin, who she began dating in June.

Lamar told HollywoodLife.com: “I love Kim and Miles is my boy! They’re happy, so if my sister is happy, then I am happy. I wish them only the best.”

While Kim, 29 and Miles, 26, began dating in early June, they only officially came out as a couple during Serena Williams’ ESPY party on July 12.

The brunette beauty’s new romance comes just two months after splitting from her long-term boyfriend Reggie Bush.

Speaking shortly after they split, Kim – who was also romantically linked with soccer star Christiano Ronaldo – admitted she is looking for a husband.

She said: ‘I’m on the market. This is a new life for me. I haven’t been single in years. I never thought I would like being single. ‘I’m not the dating type. I’m a relationship kind of girl. The next one that comes into my life will be my husband.’ ”

Taylor Momsen hates being compared to “Miley f***ing Cyrus”.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ star is now fronting her own band The Pretty Reckless and admits it makes her mad when people say she is the new Miley just because she acts and sings and is a teenager.

Taylor, 16, fumed: “I’m not looking to be Miley f***ing Cyrus. I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride.”

Although the blonde star wants to avoid comparisons with Miley, 17, she insists she doesn’t have a problem with her personally, just the Disney show ‘Hannah Montana’ that catapulted her to fame.

She added to this month’s UK issue of FHM magazine: “I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum s**t that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression. I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly.”

Taylor – who writes all her own songs and plays guitar – believes a lot of people will be shocked by her band’s album.

She said: “People will be surprised by the record. I mean, it’s a rock record. I get that there is this blonde thing from ‘Gossip Girl’ and they’re expecting pop s**t, but it’s a rock band and its heavy. Our record is a life record. It confronts everything head on. It’s death, love, drugs, sex, religion, politics.”

The couple apparently started their new sex regime during an Easter holiday in the Caribbean but have now briefly parted ways as David recovers from a ruptured Achilles tendon in Los Angeles and Victoria is in London for work.

A family friend told The Sun newspaper: “David was relieved to get a break. He’s not complaining. But with all the strapping on his foot just getting about is hard enough, let alone bedroom gymnastics five times a day. Vic is desperate to get pregnant and has a timetable for sex.”

David, 34, is apparently “exhausted” from his 35-year-old spouse’s demands and is trying to recuperate quickly before they reunite on Monday (12.04.10).

The friend added: “From what David’s said it basically means he must be on continuous standby. He’s exhausted and is just trying to get his energy back for Victoria’s return.”

The couple were expected to start trying for a baby after this summer’s World Cup soccer tournament but have decided to extend their brood earlier now David has been ruled out of the England squad because of his injury.
