Guess What Sarah Is Planning?

by Kavy on Sep.18, 2011, under Family

Sarah Jessica ParkerSarah Jessica Parker is already planning for her children leaving home

The 46-year-old actress – who has children James, eight, and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion, two, with husband Matthew Broderick – admits she and her spouse have lots of ideas of what they will do when they find themselves sharing an empty house in years to come.

Asked how they keep their marriage alive, she said: “We go to the theatre and to dinner and we occasionally see friends. And we talk a lot about when the kids are grown and gone and all the things we’ll do.”

The ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ star also revealed her favourite way to unwind is by watching property programmes on television – but she has to wait until her children are asleep before she can tune in.

She explained: “It’s really only when the children are in bed – and really in their beds, not their fake, pretending to be cooperative going to sleep, but when I hear deep breathing – that I have any free time.

“And what I do is watch ‘House Hunters International.’ It’s not even a guilty pleasure- I make very public statements about how much I love it.

“They’re just real people looking to buy a home or a holiday home and it’s just fascinating. I cannot get enough of it.

“And then sometimes my son will stuble down all crazy from attempted sleep and go, ‘Oh my God ) I’ve seen this one. They buy the second house in Romania.’ “

Sarah Jessica’s Twin Monkeys

by Lisa on Sep.06, 2011, under Children

Sarah Jessica ParkerSarah Jessica Parker says her twins are like “little monkeys” who “beat each other up”

The actress admits her two-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion are very mischievous and are especially naughty at meal times.

The ‘Sex and the City’ star – who is married to actor Matthew Broderick – said: “It is stunning to me what can happen in a kitchen in 20 minutes. It really is like feeding animals in a zoo. The twins are crazy, like little monkeys. They are so charming and funny and sweet, but brutal to each other, too. They beat each other up all the time!”

Sarah Jessica always tries to be there for her kids but admits her career sometimes gets in the way of her parental duties.

The 46-year-old Hollywood beauty was “very sad” when she had to miss her eight-year-old son James’ birthday but she insists she very rarely has to let her kids down.

She told Red magazine: “I have certainly felt disappointment and sadness. I missed my son’s birthday because of work. There was nothing, at all, I could about it, but of course I felt desperately sad. I try to organise my professional life around the things that are important in my children’s life. So when I am missing things, I look forward to hearing about them.”

Sarah Jessica – who plays a hedge-fund manager struggling to juggle her family and work commitments in ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ – has no plans to give up her career and is confident she can maintain a healthy life balance.

She said: “It’s like sometimes I won’t be there when they (the twins) wake up – and I wish I could be – but I have work to do and I’ll be home by 6.30pm, so I can feed them and put them to bed. Those are the important parts. And I still want to be that other person, that mother going out to work, too.”

The October issue of Red magazine is out now.

Sarah Jessica ParkerSarah Jessica Parker can say “no parsley” in six languages

The ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ actress isn’t fluent in any other languages other than English but she has learnt how to tell waiters she doesn’t want the herb in her food because she dislikes it so much.

In response to the question “what other languages can you speak?” during a twitter webchat for Glamour magazine, she said: “A teeny tiny amount of French & I can say ‘no parsley’ in 6 languages.”

The 46-year-old beauty also revealed being a working mother has its benefits and disadvantages depending on what her schedule is like.

The ‘Sex and the City’ star – who has three children, James, eight, and two-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha, with her husband Matthew Broderick – explained: “The best is being able to take the children to amazing places … The worst is being away sometimes.”

Despite the huge success she has enjoyed in her career, the actress – who is most famous for her TV and movie role as columnist Carrie Bradshaw – insists her kids have given her the most fulfilment in life.

When asked “what’s your biggest achievement?” by one twitter user, she replied: “My children’s contentment.”

Photog Puts Foot Down — Sues Skechers 4 $250 Mil

Photog Puts Foot Down — Sues Skechers for $250 Mil

A famous photographer claims the people at Skechers walked off with tons of his work — exploiting it all over the world … and now dude wants the shoe company to pay up …. to the tune of $250 mil.

The guy behind the lens is Richard Reinsdorf, who shot tons of celebs including Sarah Jessica Parker, Orlando Bloom and Jamie Foxx.

Reinsdorf just filed a federal lawsuit claiming Sketchers hired him to “conduct several highly successful photo shoots from 2006 through last year” — but states there were limits to where and how long Skechers could use his work.

But in his suit, Reinsdorf claims Skechers blew off the agreement and used his work (an example seen above) all over the world … and long past the end date. Now dude wants at least $250,000,000 to make things right.

So far, calls to Skechers have not been returned.

by Alice on Jul.27, 2010, under Actress, Gallery, updates

Sarah Jessica Parker (born March 25, 1965) is an American film, television, and theater actress and producer. Sarah is best known for her leading role as Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO television series Sex and the City (1998–2004), for which she won four Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Emmy Awards. She played the same role in the 2008 feature film based on the show, Sex and the City: The Movie, and its sequel, Sex and the City 2, which opened on May 26, 2010.

The script for an HBO drama/comedy series titled Sex and the City was sent to Sarah. The show’s creator, Darren Star, wanted her for his project. Despite some doubts about being cast in a long-term television series, Parker agreed to star

After Sex and the City ended in 2004, rumors of a film version circulated. It was revealed that a script had been completed for such a project. At the time, Sarah said such a film would likely never be made. Two years later, preparations were resumed, and the film was released on May 30, 2008.

Being A Mother Is So Hectic – Sarah Jessica Parker

by Alice on Apr.02, 2010, under Actress, Mother

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker thinks being a mother is like a “military operation”.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who has nine-month-old twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge and seven-year-old son James Wilkie with her husband Matthew Broderick – admits her mornings are so hectic, she feels like she is in both a comedy sketch and army operation at the same time.

She said: “Honestly, it’s funny. It’s comedic. It really is. There is so much organisation and advanced planning that happens, like a military operation and with a seven year old who has needs, too. They’re different. The bag is less but it’s crazy.”

The 45-year-old star has also admitted she was amazed by how dramatically her life changed when she went from being a mother-of-one to suddenly having three children.

She explained: “There’s no sugar- coating it. It’s wonderful. It’s what we wanted. We didn’t want twins but we wanted a bigger family and it’s a blessing. It’s a thrill. But it couldn’t be more different. I mean, it’s daunting in the beginning with all the paraphernalia: the diapers, the ointments, the bottles, the pacifiers… the list just goes on. With two more, you’re carrying suitcases. It’s hilarious.

“They’re as different as they can be. It’s wonderful. It’s good for them, that they will be their own people.”

Sarah has also admitted she doesn’t mind being a working mother as long as her children are “healthy” and “loved”.

She told new! magazine: “I see a lot of working women all over the world having to juggle those two things. The most important things to me are my children and their well-being, and that they are loved and that I have created a life for them that is healthy and nurturing. If that is the case then I can make the choice to work. If that is not the case and the situation doesn’t allow for that, then I don’t work, so I try to make choices based on that.”

Is Cynthia Nixon …. Eater.?

by Alice on Mar.16, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Award, TV

Cynthia Nixon

Cynthia Nixon is a noisy eater.

‘Sex and the City’ creator Michael Patrick King banned the actress – who plays Miranda Hobbs in the TV series and subsequent films – from eating during shooting because she drowns out dialogue from the other members of the cast.

He said: “The fact is, there’s only one thing I avoided having Cynthia do on all the years of ‘Sex and the City’, and that was to eat on camera.

“I discovered early in the first season when I wrote that Miranda eats in a coffee shop, Cynthia would eat in the coffee shop. I mean, chew and bite with gusto.

“There were times you couldn’t even hear the other girls’ lines. And it totally creeped me out; it was like, ‘Why is she doing that? How do I get around it?’

“In editing, I’d be saying, ‘Is there a cut with her where you don’t see the steak in her mouth?’ Is there a different take?’ ”

The cast – including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis – are allowed to choose their own food for restaurant scenes and Cynthia astonished producers with her less-than-healthy selections.

Speaking at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards in New York at the weekend – where openly homosexual Cynthia was honoured with the Vito Russo Award – Michael added: “Seriously, all the girls would get to pick what they wanted in the coffee shop scenes, and Kristin and SJ would pick salads, and Kim would pick blueberries, and Cynthia, I’d look over and she’d be eating a cheeseburger.

“Like, eight cheeseburgers because you’d have to keep going and going and going again. And every time a new one arrived, she was even more delighted than the last.”

Sarah Jessica Parker – “loves all aspects of being a mother”

by Alice on Jan.01, 2010, under Actress

Sarah Jessica Parker

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who plays glamorous newspaper columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the hit US TV show and movie – plans to shun her Hollywood lifestyle and will spend the night indoors with her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children.

She told BANG Showbiz: “What am I doing for New Year’s Eve? I’ll be spending it with my husband and my family.”

The 44-year-old actress – who has son James Wilkie, seven, and six-month-old twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge with Matthew -has had an eventful year.

As well as filming the second ‘Sex and the City’ movie, she and Matthew welcomed their new twin daughters through a surrogate mother into the world on June 22.

Sarah loves all aspects of being a mother – especially the less glamorous jobs.

She said recently: “I love the smell of diapers – I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it.”

Sarah Jessica Parker – Hopes For A Bigger Family With More Children

by Alice on Dec.18, 2009, under Actress

Sarah Jessica Parker

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who has son James, seven, and five-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha with her actor husband Matthew Broderick – hopes her family will get even bigger and hasn’t ruled out adopting.

Sarah – whose twins were carried and delivered via surrogate mother Michelle Ross – said: “It doesn’t mean its over. It doesn’t mean we won’t continue to try to have a bigger family… that we won’t continue to pursue all sorts of ways of doing it. Adoption, who knows?”

Although the 44-year-old actress loves “being a housewife” and an actress, she needs help to cope with both roles.

She told the USA Today newspaper: “I hear a lot of actresses pretend they don’t have help, and that can’t be true. It’s really unfair to working women in America who read celebrity news and think, ‘Why can’t I lose weight when I’ve had a baby?‘ Well, everyone you’re reading about has money for a trainer and a chef. That doesn’t make it realistic.

“I love being a housewife. I am dead serious. There is enormous satisfaction when you’re a mother and you’ve gotten through a day.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Sympathised With The Cow Which Kicked Her

The actress struggled to get to grips with country life when making ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ – in which she stars with Hugh Grant – and was particularly dismayed when producers insisted on adding the unfortunate encounter to the final cut.

She said: “I didn’t enjoy attempting to milk a cow, or ride a horse, or shoot a rifle. I have other fantasies, none of which include milking a cow! The cow kicked me in the middle of the scene and they left it in. It’s right there for everyone to see. But I sympathised with the cow. I didn’t belong there and she knew it.”

Despite her bad bovine experience, Sarah loved starring in the movie because she had wanted to work alongside Hugh for so long.

The 44-year-old actress – who has three children, eight-year-old James and six-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha, with husband Matthew Broderick – explained to Parade.com: “I think I remember auditioning to co-star with Hugh in ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. I think I did. I know I screen tested for ‘Nine Months’. Of course, I didn’t get either. I have wanted to appear opposite him in a romantic comedy for basically as long as Americans, especially women, have known and loved Hugh Grant.

“Every time I kissed Hugh, I told him I was doing it for America.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Says “my son tells me he misses” My Mole

by Alice on Dec.17, 2009, under Actress

Sarah Jessica Parker

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress recently had the blemish from her chin removed when she had some time off from her filming commitments but admits seven-year-old James Wilkie sometimes pines for it.

She said: “I had a mole removed. I didn’t have strong feelings against it, I didn’t object to it, I just didn’t care for it. So I had six free days where I could be bloodied and scabbed, and no one would care

“I didn’t think a thing about it and then it turns into mole-gate and my son tells me he misses it – I feel like I should’ve consulted more people about it!”

Sarah – who is married to actor Matthew Broderick – also revealed how James is adjusting after becoming a big brother to twins Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, who were born in June via a surrogate.

She told US TV talk show host David Letterman: “He’s been very hospitable and he’s amused by them occasionally. He’s annoyed by them sometimes but in fact I thought he’d forgotten about them, his world is pretty much his world which is most important.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Thinks Miley Cyrus Is ‘professional’ and ‘very sweet’

by cyan on Dec.15, 2009, under Actress, Singer

Sarah Jessica ParkerThe 44-year-old actress was astounded by how tall the ‘Hannah Montana’ star was when she filmed her cameo for the next ‘Sex and the City’ movie.

Sarah said: “I was astounded by her height. Did you know that she’s tall? She’s like a Viking. I had no idea!”

The actress – who reprises her role as writer Carrie Bradshaw in the big screen version of the US TV show – enjoyed working with 17-year-old Miley, even though their time together was brief.

She told Us Weekly magazine: “Miley’s a beautiful young lady and very self-possessed. I literally was not in the scene with her. I was in the scene, but we were not on screen together. But she was lovely and on time and prompt and professional, very sweet.”

Sarah also confirmed Jennifer Hudson – who played Carrie’s assistant in the first movie – will not be returning for the sequel.

Sam Elliot Believes Hugh Grant Is A Very Charming Romantic Man

by Alice on Dec.10, 2009, under Actor

Hugh Grant

The ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ actor claims his British co-star – who he appears alongside with Sarah Jessica Parker in the new romantic comedy – could talk himself out of any bad situation because of his well-spoken voice and gentlemanly demeanour.

He told BANG Showbiz: “I’ve never known anybody that can get away with the s**t that Hugh Grant gets away with. And he gets away with it because he’s so damn charming. He gets away with everything. I couldn’t get away with the stuff he gets away with – I mean I wouldn’t even try!”

The 65-year-old film star learned a lot from his ladies man co-star.

He explained: “Hugh Grant is the main man. He’s the number one romantic comedy man in the world.”

Despite his own glittering career, Sam admits he found it daunting working with Hugh, Sarah and director Marc Lawrence.

Sam – who starred in ‘Ghost Rider’, ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ and ‘Roadhouse’, which also starred Patrick Swayze – explained: “The highlight was just being part of it. You know, I don’t often get romantic comedies coming my way. It was wonderful – particularly when it’s a script from director Marc Lawrence. He is very smart. He really gives in his filmmaking and makes it enjoyable to be on set everyday. If you couple that with the fact that you are working with Hugh and Sarah… it was incredible. But it was a little daunting initially.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Speaks About- Relationships

by Alice on Dec.09, 2009, under Actress

Sarah Jessica Parker

The ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ actress – who raises three children with her actor husband Matthew Broderick – insists she isn’t a good person to go to for romantic advice, despite being married for 12 years.

She told BANG Showbiz: “What’s the secret to a successful relationship? Oh I’m no relationship expert I’ve no idea. You should speak to someone with a doctorate if you want advice!”

The 44-year-old screen beauty was in London’s Leicester Square last night (09.12.09) with her co-star Hugh Grant for the Gala Premiere of the romantic comedy, in which they play a married couple who battle to rekindle their romance.

Despite the cold and wet weather, Sarah looked stunning as she snuggled up to Hugh for photographs while wearing a hot pink dress and sky-scraper heels.

She said: “I’m loving London. I always love London. Am I cold? Oh God, compared to New York, no I’m not. It’s practically mild!”

Sarah and Matthew had twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Lodge via a surrogate mother in June, and the ‘Sex and the City’ star admits they are “wonderful”.

She said: “The babies are very wonderful. Filming this was a long time to be away from home but, you know, I don’t want the time back.”

Sarah also revealed she loves visiting London because the people are so “sophisticated”.

She explained: “I love this city. I’ve loved it since I was a little girl. I remember the first time I came here in 1976 when I was a little girl and I always thought, ‘When I grow up I’m going to move to London, because everybody there is so sophisticated.’ ”

Sarah Jessica Parker Believes Her Children Should Not Have An Easy Upbringing

by cyan on Dec.03, 2009, under Actress, Children

Sarah Jessica Parker

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress insists that son James, seven, and twin five-month-old daughters Loretta and Tabitha -  her kids with actor husband Matthew Broderick – should not have an easy upbringing just because of their parents’ success.

She said: “I don’t want my children to feel they have a sense of entitlement.

“I want them to work hard and be challenged. That’s hard to do when you have everything you need and want, so I am working on those values all the time.”

The actress also admitted she struggles to cope with juggling motherhood and her career but refuses to complain as they are her own life choices.

She added to America’s Glamour magazine: “It is the eternal conflict of every working woman, and I am not complaining, because I’ve done this to myself. And I have a wonderful, wonderful nanny who allows me to be a working person. The great challenge for me is to be all things to all people. I want to be a great mother, and I want to feel good when I’m at work. But it is hard.”

Barry Carpenter Found Guilty For Stolen Items Related To The Pregnancy Of Sarah Jessica Parker

by cyan on Nov.25, 2009, under Actress, Mother

Sarah Jessica Parker

Ohio police chief Barry Carpenter, 40, and another police chief, were accused of meeting with freelance photographers and offering them items concerning surrogate mother Michelle Ross’ pregnancy including poems, photos, legal documents about the surrogacy agreement, and pictures of ultrasounds.

Carpenter was eventually found guilty of three of the six counts against him, of receiving stolen property, theft in office and tampering with evidence. He was found not guilty of burglary and unauthorised use of property or services.

The officer will be sentenced on December 10, and faces up to 10 years in prison for his abuse of power and crimes. In the meantime he will be made to stay at his mother’s home and wear an electronic tag to monitor his movements.

In a videotaped interview presented to the court Carpenter said: “I stand by what I say. I didn’t burglarise no home. I don’t want to give up a 17-year police career for something that was a joke.”

Carpenter claims he only went into the house to secure the premises after noticing a door was ajar and did not take anything from the house.

Michelle Ross, 26, gave birth to the twin girls for Jessica and husband Matthew Broderick last June. She also testified in the trial against Carpenter.

The police chief’s alleged accomplice, Chief Chad M. Dojack, 29, will stand trial in January.

Sarah Jessica Parker Loves The Smell Of Dirty Wet Diapers

by cyan on Nov.06, 2009, under Actor

Sarah Jessica Parker

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress – who has five-month-old twin daughters, Loretta and Tabitha, with her husband Matthew Broderick – loves everything about being a mother, especially the less glamorous jobs.

She said: “I love the smell of diapers – I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it.”

The 44-year-old beauty also revealed her seven-year-old son James demanded to have a say in naming his sister Loretta – whose first name is actually Marion.

She said: “He told me he really wanted Marion to be in the mix. We thought, ‘Are we crazy? Do we let our son name one of the girls? Is that the right thing to do? Is it important for him?’ And then he goes, ‘And I want it legal.’ ”

The couple faced criticism this summer when it was revealed they were expecting twins through a surrogate.

But Sarah insists they had tried to extend their brood in other ways first.

She explained to America’s Elle magazine: “I knew there would be lots of opinions about, ‘Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?’ and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us. We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence.”

Despite adoring her family, the actress admits she is worried her babies won’t like her when they are older and is concerned their feet will be too big for her huge collection of designer shoes.

She explained: “I have a fear that they’re not going to like me.

“The only tragedy would be if their feet are bigger than mine.”

Hugh Grant’s “suicidal” Feeling For His Performances

by cyan on Nov.04, 2009, under Actor

Hugh Grant

The ‘Love Actually’ actor told how when he has saw the first cuts of a number of his films – which include the hugely successful ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’ and ‘Notting Hill’- he felt so bad about his performances he wanted to die.

He said: “Normally, when I see the first cut I’m suicidal. I want to go to that euthanasia clinic in Switzerland, Dignitas, and have myself put down.”

Despite his negativity, the actor was pleasantly surprised when he saw an early version of his latest film, comedy ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’ in which he stars alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.

Hugh, 49, added: “This film looks a lot better. This one is quite beautiful.”

The self-proclaimed “reluctant actor” has threatened to quit Hollywood many times and to give up acting, even claiming he was semi-retired after appearing in ‘Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason’ in 2004. He said the reason is because he “freezes up” in front of the cameras.

He explained: “I like everything about filming except the acting. I’m wonderful in rehearsals, but I have never been very good when they actually switch the cameras on.

“In recent years I’ve had really bad attacks where I totally froze up. I thought, ‘Well, if I am going to get stage fright, then I am packing it in.’ ”

He did, however, add he would not consider joining the theatre.

He added: “I’m not suited to the theatre. I get bored after the first week.”

‘Sex and the City 2’ Is Like “Condensed soup” Says Kristin Davis

by cyan on Oct.29, 2009, under Actress

Kristin Davis

The 44-year-old actress – who plays lovable art dealer Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the US TV series and movies – says bosses have crammed so many dramatic plotlines into the upcoming sequel it is much more intense than the 2008 first big-screen outing.

She told MTV: “This one is not going to be that long. It’s like condensed soup. It’s different, and adventurous and rich, and there’s music involved.”

Kristin – who stars in the films with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon – also revealed the cast are currently working long hours to complete the film.

She explained: “We were shooting nights last week, and pretty much for the two weeks before that. All night. We were not doing a night exterior, but that’s how many hours we needed to get certain things done. When it comes out, you’re going to know what I’m talking about. I can’t tell you right now, except to say that they are huge scenes with like hundreds of people in them!

“And there were more costume changes in the first film than there are in the second one.”

Liza Minnelli recently brought the cast of the project to tears when she performed for them on set.

The iconic singer has a cameo appearance as herself in the upcoming movie and decided to sing after she finished her scene and made an emotional speech.
