Sarah Harding has been “cheated on a lot”

The 29-year-old singer – who is engaged to DJ Tom Crane – used to get “carried away” in relationships which would lead to her being heartbroken when the men in her life didn’t live up to expectations.

She revealed: “I was a hopeless romantic and used to fall hard and fast. At the beginning of every relationship I’d think, ‘He’s amazing, I’m in love!’

“It’s easy to get carried away when it’s new and exciting. But a lot of my heartbreak has to do with trust, as I always used to go for bad boys. I got cheated on a lot, but I craved the excitement and unpredictability.”

Although she used to love wild bad boys, the Girls Aloud star thinks her wedding to Tom will be a more sedate affair because there will be family present.

She told more! magazine: “I don’t know if it will be wild – mothers have to come!”

Daniel Radcliffe is the richest British star under 30

The ‘Harry Potter’ actor has made an estimated £45.6 million, £25 million of which comes from the final two films in the series ‘The Deathly Hallows’, alone, almost £15 million more than the second-placed star, 25-year-old Keira Knightley, who has made a fortune of £30.1 million so far.

Four of the top five money-makers in the list compiled by heat magazine come from the wizard movie series made famous by Daniel, with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint making £20.6 million and £19 million respectively.

‘Twilight: Saga’ actor Robert Pattinson – who appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ – was placed fifth, having earned £18.5 million so far.

Britain’s highest earning music star is ‘Bleeding Love’ singer Leona Lewis, who has generated a £12.5 million fortune since winning ‘The X Factor’ in 2006, placing her in sixth place.

Heat editor Sam Delaney said the list proved not all rich people are “corrupt, cigar-chomping fat cats”.

He said: “In these tight financial times, there’s a great deal of animosity felt towards society’s richest. But who could possibly resent the millions earned by a charming young rascal like Daniel Radcliffe?

“The heat rich list is proof that not all mega-rich people are corrupt, cigar-chomping fat cats. This list is full of young people who have largely made their cash out of putting smiles on other people’s faces”

Other notable inclusions on the list include Sienna Miller at 17, who at £6.1 million has earned less than Arctic Monkeys’ singer Alex Turner, who has amassed an estimated fortune of £7.5 million.

‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole has earned £7.9 million, putting her ahead of all her Girls Aloud bandmates.

Sarah Harding (born 17 November 1981) is an English pop singer-songwriter, actress and model best known for being a member of the pop group Girls Aloud. She rose to fame in 2002 after becoming a member of pop group Girls Aloud through ITV’s reality television programme Popstars: The Rivals. They have become one of the few UK reality television acts to achieve continued success, amassing a fortune of £25 million by May 2009.

Sarah has been successful in achieving a string of 20 consecutive UK top ten singles (including four number ones), two UK number one albums, and received nominations for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for “The Promise”.

Harding also collaborated with London synthpop band Filthy Dukes for a song for the main soundtrack song for film, Wild Child, the song Harding recorded was “Real Wild Child”. It was released in August 2008. She refused to give away exactly what she is working on however, did state, “I can’t tell you why yet, sorry, but I’m really excited about it.”

The Girls Aloud beauty – whose parents split when she was 14 years old – has been in a relationship with DJ Tom Crane for three years but is still unsure if he is her soulmate.

She said: “I’ve thought I’d met The One previously. But as you grow up, you get to know who is a good partner for you. “Tommy could be my soulmate. I think time is a great test. I’ve learnt over the years not to think that straight away because you’re in the honeymoon period. I used to become infatuated with people, but it would end before the honeymoon period was over and I’d be left devastated. Now I’m a bit cynical when it comes to relationships and marriage, probably because of my own family history. When the time’s right I think we’ll know.”

The 28-year-old singer doesn’t plan to get married until she’s in her 30s, because she’s busy focussing on her career right now. She said: “Maybe I haven’t got the same strong values at Tom when it comes to marriage., I just think when the time’s right we’ll know. When would I fit in a wedding when I’m working al the time?

“My mum got married quite young, and I think I’d like to wait until I’m in my 30s. Your 20s are about sorting out your career.”

Tom added: “I should pick someone closer to home, someone I might bump into all the time!”

Sarah and Tom have been dating for three years, and work hard to keep their romance and sex life alive.

She explained: “The key to a good relationship is learning how to keep falling back in love with each other. We try and have a date night once a week. Being at home together we can get on each other’s nerves, so it’s nice to take ourselves away from all that.

Sarah Harding will never give up partying

The Girls Aloud beauty is currently holidaying in Ibiza – which is famous for its clubs – with her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane and can’t imagine a time when she will no longer enjoy her regular visits to the Spanish island.

She said: “We’ve been coming to Ibiza for years and will do until we’re old and grey. Maybe we won’t be able to last the night then, but we’ll give it a go!”

The 28-year-old singer is enjoying her break with Tom, but admits they have been so busy socialising they have had little quality time together.

She explained to Closer magazine: “In the first week, we let 12 of our friends come out to the villa, then they leave and another 12 mates arrive!

“I drink Pimm’s by the pool and don’t get up until 2.30pm every day!”

Tom, 30, recently admitted he is planning to ask Sarah to be his wife later this year.

He said: “Of course I’m going to marry Sarah. I’m going to propose after my brother’s wedding in September.

Sarah Harding has a “naughty cupboard” for her treats and snacks.

The Girls Aloud beauty – who is has been in a relationship with DJ Tom Crane for nearly three years – tries to be careful about what she eats but can’t resist giving into her cravings occasionally.

She said: “I still have a naughty cupboard, which Tommy hates me having. It’s got all my chocolates in it. I tend to eat healthily during the day and eat quite a big meal in the evening.

“Then me and Tommy will be watching movies or TV while nibbling something from the naughty cupboard.”

As well as sugary snacks, the ‘St Trinian’s star finds it hard to resist pasta, even though she knows carbohydrate-based foods are “the enemy”.

She said: “I love a good Italian and can’t resist a good spaghetti Bolognese. I’m a sucker for pasta but carbs are like the enemy.

Cheryl Cole’s wealth has grown by 150 per cent in the last year.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer – who is the face of L’Oreal Elvive hair-care range and Coca Cola Zero – came fourth in the Young Music Millionaires aged 30 and under list with earnings of £10 million.

She was beaten to the top spot by Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkins and Leona Lewis, who are all worth £11 million.

Dr Philip Beresford, who compiled the list, claims the statistics prove British women are working harder than ever and no longer need a man to be a success.

He said: “The girls are showing you can make it big if you keep trying. It doesn’t matter where you come from. Drive and determination can get you the Hollywood lifestyle.”

The highest charting male on the list – which is part of the annual Sunday Times Rich List published on Sunday (25.04.10) – was Craig David, worth £8 million, putting him at number seven.

Dr Beresford added: “Britain’s women superstars are showing they have the talent and drive to make it big in their bank balances. And they can do it without the support of overpaid husbands or hangers-on.”

Among the surprise inclusions were Joss Stone, who is worth £4 million more than Lily Allen with £9 million earnings and Katie Melua, who came in one place behind 26-year-old Cheryl raking in £10 million in 2010.

Nicola Roberts found it hard to introduce her boyfriend to her bandmates.

The Girls Aloud singer – who has been dating 23-year-old entrepreneur Charlie Fennell for 18 months – left it for some time before initiating a meet-up because the group have such a tight “circle of trust”.

She said: “We’re all very protective of each other, I introduced him quite slowly. We have a circle of trust and you have to earn your place in it.

“I wouldn’t ever want to bring someone in just because I was smitten; lust can glaze your eyes over and you can make poor judgments. So I had to make absolutely sure he was a good egg before I put him in their company!”

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer has been encouraged to split from her soccer player spouse Ashley Cole by her Girls Aloud bandmates and mother Joan Callaghan after it emerged he sent sexual pictures and texts to an unnamed secretary – just days after he was accused of sending similar messages to glamour model Sonia Wild.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “As far as they’re concerned Ashley is holding Cheryl back. He doesn’t deserve any of this worry. Sarah Harding is particularly angry, furious in fact, but all the girls are upset and see each other as sisters. They will fight tooth and claw to protect Cheryl.

“Cheryl’s mum is also livid. She has said she’ll support whatever decision Cheryl makes, but privately believes she deserves better.”

A collection of over 300 messages were allegedly sent to the secretary by Ashley in October 2008.

Cheryl, 26, is distraught over the news, and “looked miserable” yesterday (14.02.10) as she avoided spending Valentine’s Day with her husband and instead spent the day rehearsing for her BRITs performance tomorrow night (16.02.10).

A source said: “Cheryl turned up wearing sunglasses. She didn’t speak to anyone and just went straight into her dressing room.

“She came on stage, did her performance and then left. She didn’t back out of her performance and was in the venue for three hours but she looked miserable.”

The Girls Aloud star, who plays the role of schoolgirl Roxy in ‘St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold’, says she is living out her dream on the big screen.

Speaking at the world premiere of the movie In London’s Leicester Square, Sarah told BANG Showbiz: “I’m just enjoying every minute of it at the moment. I’m getting to live out my fantasies.

“I’ve lived out my dream doing the singing and I never thought I’d get into doing the acting side of it as well, which is amazing. I’m very honoured and grateful that they are giving me a chance.”

The 28-year-old star, who braved the cold on a special pink carpet in a stunning cut-out dress, also denied there was any competition between Girls Aloud as each member focuses on individual projects.

She said: “We’ve all got very different tastes and I think if were to all do our own solo stuff it would be very different.”

Sarah also admitted she loved working with her co-star Rupert Everett, who has to dress as a woman for his role as school headmistress Miss Fritton.

hilarious. We couldn’t take him seriously. It was just a giggle every day.”

The Girls Aloud singer is looking forward to starting a family with her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane in the near future.

She said: “He’s my man and all is very good on that score. One day, I definitely want babies, but not yet. I’m looking forward to the next phase – the babies and the chickens and a nice barn conversion somewhere.”

Although the 28-year-old beauty – who stars in new movie ‘St Trinian’s: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold’, in which she plays a rebellious schoolgirl called Roxy – is feeling broody she wants to wait until she is financially secure before embarking on motherhood.

She said: “I’m not looking to settling down and starting a family until I’m financially secure and I’ve paid my mortgage off and everything. I’ve got a good business head in that sense.”

Sarah, who has just opened a nightclub in London called Kanaloa with Tom, says making the club a success will be her substitute baby for the time being.

She said in an interview with NewsShopper.co.uk: “Oh yeah, it’s going to be like my baby, there’s no limit to what I have to do.

“It’s a business venture for Tommy and I, we’ve invested in it and hopefully we’re investing with the idea that we are going to have further clubs opening over the next three years.”
