Vet to Mariah Carey — You Owe 30K for Doggy Style
Mariah Carey ran up a $38,000 tab with a veterinarian who claims she cared for MC’s pups 24/7 and even delivered one of ‘em … this according to a lawsuit filed by the vet.
Dr. Cindy Bressler sued Mariah in Manhattan today — and in the suit she says she provided “extraordinary services” for Mariah’s three Jack Russell terriers … Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ. Bressler claims she’s only been paid $8,000 of the 38K bill.
Dr. Bressler’s attorney tells TMZ the vet was in charge of grooming and feeding the doggy divas while Mariah was in L.A. promoting “Precious.“ According to the attorney, Bressler also brought tiny Dolomite into this world — delivering the pup last year.
Mariah’s rep hasn’t gotten back to us yet.

He said: “I’d love to do a film with Mariah. But it would have to be a comedy. She’s the funniest woman in the world, she just cracks me up all the time.”
Mariah’s most recent big screen outing was as a dowdy social worker in ‘Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire’ and she admits she felt “tortured” by the role, although she believes it has made her a better person.
She said: “It was definitely a commitment to be seen looking that bad. I love Lee Daniels, the director, but he’s a sick man. He wanted to torture me.
“But you know, it freed me in a lot of ways. I don’t worry about certain things in the same way any more.”

Leona Lewis Aims To Write A Film In Future
by Alice on Dec.01, 2009, under Artist, Music, Singer

The singer – who has a song included on the soundtracks to new films ‘Precious’ and ‘Avatar’ respectively – is a huge movie fan and would love to pen a script in the future.
The 24-year-old singer said: “I love movies but I’m more into scriptwriting and the actual story and behind the scenes. But I wouldn’t say no if it was the right thing.”
Leona’s current single ‘Happy’ is featured in ‘Precious’, which tells the story of an overweight, illiterate teenager who dreams of a better life.
The pop star was thrilled when the track got picked to be used in the movie, saying: “I’m just so proud of it because I wrote it, and for it to be associated with a film like ‘Precious’, which is about trying to overcome troubles and trials in your life, is amazing. I’m glad that someone got that message.”
As Leona’s career goes from strength-to-strength, she is attracting a host of star fans.
Rihanna – who was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February – is a huge admirer and was very upset to hear about Leona being attacked by a fan at a recent book signing.
The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer said: “I got so mad, like it was me. I couldn’t believe it happened to her, of all people. It’s so disappointing when people behave like that. Why? She’s so sweet. She is just a beautiful, beautiful spirit. You don’t want any bad things to happen to her.”

Mariah Carey Has Been Abused Emotional And Mentally
by cyan on Nov.05, 2009, under Artist, Music, Singer

The ‘Obsessed’ singer – who married actor-and-rapper Nick Cannon in 2008 – has spoken out about how she has been affected by the struggle she faced in previous relationships and hinted her ex-husband Tommy Mottola was responsible for her ordeal.
She said: “Abuse has several categories. Emotionally, mentally, in other ways. I just think you get into a situation and you feel locked in. If your situation is similar to one of the situations I’ve been in, which I won’t harp on. For me, to really get out, it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing where the person was in control of my life.”
Mariah wed music executive Tommy in 1993 after he signed her to the music label CBS Records. They separated just three years later and divorced in 1998.
The 40-year-old beauty also spoke out in support of ‘Rehab’ singer Rihanna, who was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown earlier this year following a pre-Grammy’s party.
Mariah admitted she can empathise with the 21-year-old starlet’s experience of domestic abuse.
She told US TV talk show host Larry King: “I was very sequestered, as you know, when I first started out and if I were just allowed to be young and with a young boyfriend who’s also a star and you know, you’re working and you’re both — I don’t know what goes on. You know what I mean? So it’s like, I wasn’t really allowed out of the house, so I can’t imagine what she went through.”
Meanwhile, the singer-turned-actress says she is desperate to have children with Nick, but is waiting for a gap in her career.
She explained: “Being pregnant would be the happiest thing in my life, but what I’m saying is right now with this movie ‘Precious’ coming out, with the next few singles from the album and those things that I’m doing, I need to focus on that because I cannot do the having-a-child thing halfway.”
