Paris Hilton is “very excited” to have rekindled her friendship with Lindsay Lohan

The heiress was joined by the troubled actress at her Malibu beach house over the weekend and is said to be thrilled to have finally buried the hatchet with Lindsay, who she has had a turbulent relationship with for over five years.

A source said: “Paris is very excited. She loved seeing her again.”

Other guests at Paris’ low-key party were stunned when Lindsay entered the room as few had realised there was no longer any animosity between them.

The insider told gossip website TMZ: “Everyone was so surprised when Lindsay walked in and we thought they didn’t get along. But they immediately gave each other a big hug.”
The group, which also included Paris’ sister Nicky, actress Emma Roberts and ‘Inception’ star Lukas Haas, spent time at the beach and in the socialite’s hot tub and later enjoyed a dance party, but the source insisted Lindsay – who has a history of alcohol and substance abuse problems – stayed sober throughout.

Just last month, Lindsay branded Paris “mean” after she poked fun at the actress’ arrest over the theft of a necklace from an upmarket boutique.

Paris agreed but joked: “I’m not Lindsay. If I were Lindsay, I’d be stealing the earrings, not giving them away.”

The actress was said to have taken the joke badly, telling a friend: “Paris is mean. You don’t have to make fun of serious matters in people’s lives to be funny.”

Paris Hilton walked out of an interview after it was suggested her “moment” could have “passed”

The socialite stopped an interview with ABC News in the US after being asked if poor ratings for her show ‘The World According to Paris’ and the prominence of other reality TV stars could suggest her popularity is waning.

Anchor Dan Harris asked Paris: “Do you worry that sometimes the people who have followed in your footsteps – like Kim Kardashian – are overshadowing you?” She replied: “No, not at all.” However, when the host pushed the star, asking: “Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?” She looked at her assistant then stopped the interview.

After regaining her composure, the 30-year-old consented to re-start the chat and explained how she is planning to move forward. She said: “I’ve been in this business for fifteen years now, so it’s been a very long time.

“Just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects.”
Paris starred in her first reality TV show, ‘The Simple Life’ in 2003, and has been in a number of series since, including three versions of ‘Paris Hilton’s My New BFF’ in the US, UK and UAE.

A man arrested outside Paris Hilton’s Malibu home has been charged with felony stalking

James Rainford – who already had a restraining order, in which he had to stay at least 200 yards away from the hotel heiress and her properties – appeared in a Californian court today (15.07.11) after he was found by police standing on the beach looking into Paris’ home on July 4.

Prosecutor Wendy Segall said Rainford, 36, is facing two felony stalking counts and three misdemeanour counts of disobeying a court order.

Rainford is currently in jail with bail set at $150,000.

In April, Rainford attacked Paris’ then-boyfriend Cy Waits outside a Los Angeles courthouse and was arrested last April after sneaking into her Hollywood property, but pleaded no contest to both charges.

The news of Rainford’s arrest came days after an intruder who tried to break into Paris’ home was sentenced to two years in prison.

Nathan Lee Parada – who was wielding a knife when he attempted to get into her Los Angeles house – was found guilty of first degree residential burglary in April, and at the hearing Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Kellogg also recommended he undergo mental health counselling.

Paris Hilton’s mother is “heartbroken” over her split from Cy Waits

The socialite called time on her relationship with nightclub owner Cy after 18 months last week, leaving her mother, Kathy, upset for them both.

Speaking about Cy, She told the E! news service: “He really is an angel. I do adore him. My heart is broken. That’s why I don’t like getting close to the boyfriends because they become like a part of the family.”

Kathy added she has advised her eldest daughter – who split with Cy as he couldn’t handle her celebrity lifestyle – not to look for anther boyfriend, and instead concentrate on spending some quality time with her family.

She added: “I think it’s very hard to be with somebody that’s in the limelight when you’re really not into that. “The thing is, she goes from one boyfriend to the next. Paris Hilton’s boyfriend Cy Waits was just attacked outside the Van Nuys courthouse — where Paris was set to face the man who allegedly tried to break into her house.

Our guy at the scene says Paris and Cy were walking into the courthouse moments ago when a man “lunged” at Cy … then grabbed him by the neck.

We’re told the couple’s security team took down the attacker, who is currently being detained by police.

Paris/Bruno D.A. Allegedly Scored Coke 4X a Week

The deputy D.A. who prosecuted Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars scored coke 3 to 4 times a week in the crack den of Las Vegas … this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.

David Schubert, who was busted Saturday night, had gone to a notorious area of Vegas Saturday night. Schubert, who was driving a BMW, stopped and cops observed a male get inside his car.

The two began driving and cops were suspicious, after the passenger got out of the car, went into an apartment complex and came back out. When Schubert allegedly committed a traffic violation, cops made their move and stopped the vehicle. The passenger got out and ran, and was subdued after a foot chase.

The passenger then snitched Schubert out, telling cops Schubert would come by 3 to 4 times a week and use him to purchase $40 worth of cocaine at a time. The passenger says Schubert would call periodically to ask if anyone was selling narcotics.

Mind you … this was allegedly going down at the same time Schubert was prosecuting Paris and Bruno.

Cops observed a “white, rocklike substance” in the car and it tested positive for cocaine.

The 30-year-old hotel heiress – who is a “massive fan” of the British royal family – is reportedly “desperate” to attend the April 29 nuptials between Prince William and Kate Middleton, and has been bombarding her contacts in the hope of securing an invite to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “Paris is a massive fan of the royals and counts Princess Diana among her idols, so she’s desperate to be seen at the wedding. She knows it will be an event not to be missed.

A $35 million lawsuit against Paris Hilton which alleged she failed to promote a range of hair extensions has been dropped

The 30-year-old socialite was accused of missing a launch party for HairTech International products in 2007, and was also seen wearing a competitor’s extensions.

The company had paid her $3.5 million to be the face of their Dream Catchers range of clip-in locks.

However, the company’s founder and CEO Chris Volek has now admitted the allegations were wrong and has dropped the case against her.

The blonde star – who had countersued for $2.1 million in damages and had missed the launch party because she was in jail for violating the terms of her probation as a result of a reckless driving charge – admits she is pleased with the decision.

She said: “It is certainly not unusual for businesspeople to have their disagreements, but I am glad that Chris has acknowledged the hard work and dedication I put into promoting his products.”

Discussing why he had dropped the case, Chris – who had claimed her failure to turn up to the party had lost the company $6.6 million in lost revenue on its own – confessed the information he had received about her actions had been incorrect.

He said in a statement: “The information I received from others and on which I based the lawsuit was not accurate.”

Paris Hilton’s 30th birthday cake was stolen by a party-crasher

The hotel heiress threw a bash at V-Moda Fortress, a private house in the Hollywood Hills, on Tuesday night (15.02.11) and an uninvited guest, a Los Angeles musician only known as ‘Paz’, made off with the special treat.

Paz – who got into the bash through his “well-connected buddy Kevin” – decided to take the three-tiered red cake after realising it wasn’t being served to the 300 guests.

In a posting on his Facebook page – accompanied by a picture of the swiped sweet treat in his kitchen – he wrote: “I woke up this morning with a $2,000 birthday cake in my living room. It’s big. It’s red. It says ‘Paris’ and its f****** delicious … At an inebriated moment I decided no one was going to waste $2,000 worth of anything on my watch. I had to rescue that cake.”

Paz admits he had to come up with a scheme to get the cake out of the house without any of the security employed to “look for idiots” like him realising what he was doing.

But he managed to convince the head of security that he had been told to remove the desert and was soon in his car with his unusual loot.

He explained: “In one fluid motion, I sidestep a confused waiter, seize the prize, and face to the door. I pass the security chief again on the way out. I nod purposefully … he nods in return and 40 seconds later I’m in the front seat of a Nissan Maxima with 70lbs of awesome in my lap. Success!”

The cake was made for Paris – who reached the milestone age on Thursday (17.02.11) – by Lucid absinthe and the company are unhappy with Paz’s actions.

Jared Gurfein – CEO of Viridian Spirits, the company which makes Lucid – said in a statement: “It is very unfortunate that someone stole the cake from Paris’ birthday party. We had the cake designed especially for Paris with Lucid in the batter and a beautiful representation of Lucid’s artwork on it, which she had requested to meet the ‘Moulin Rouge‘ theme of the party.”

Paris – who was presented with another cake that was adorned with a photograph of her – was joined at the bash by her boyfriend Cy Waits, sister Nicky and parents Rick and Kathy, and a host of other guests including Kathy Griffin.

Paris Hilton will show her “real” self in her new TV show

The 29-year-old heiress has promised ‘The World According to Paris‘ – which will air on US network Oxygen in the spring –will show her how she really is, unlike the “character” she created to appear with pal Nicole Richie on ‘The Simple Life’ between 2003 and 2007.

She said: “On ‘The Simple Life’, I was playing a character I kind of invented. I didn’t realise the show would last five seasons, so I had to keep doing it. I think people assume that’s really how I am in real life. But when I’m with my friends and my family is when I feel most comfortable and myself. In the show, it really shows the real Paris.”

Paris has been followed round-the-clock by cameras since October and the socialite believes the show will give a true account of her “crazy and fearless” life.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: “There are so many crazy things on the show, but one of the craziest is jumping out of a plane and skydiving,

Paris Hilton is countersuing the hair extension company which filed a lawsuit against her in August

The hotel heiress was reportedly paid $3.5 million by Hairtech International in 2007 to be the face of their Dream Catchers range of clip-in locks but is being sued for $35 million after allegedly failing to promote the product and wearing extensions made by a competitor.

Now Paris has filed her own suit and is asking for is asking for $2.1 million in damages, at least $400,000 in punitive damages and attorney fees, and $500,000 in declaratory relief.

In documents filed at Los Angeles Superior Court the socialite’s lawyer alleges Hairtech International “sought to capitalise on Ms. Hilton’s brand and fame by offering to pay substantial ‘guaranteed’ royalties in exchange for the right to associate Ms. Hilton’s brand with their line of hair products”.

Paris is also accusing the company of fraud claiming they failed to pay her “in excess of $1.7 million,” and accusing them of “secretly altering documents presented to Ms. Hilton’s company for signature”.

Along with countersuing the hair extension company, Paris denies she was unprofessional and claims the company’s CEO Chris Volek wrote her an email praising her performance after she filmed a commercial for the company.

According to gossip website TMZ, the email said “Hey Paris. I know it was a long day, but baby you ‘Rocked.’ Just from the takes I saw this is going to be one hellava commercial, you were genuinely amazing.”

Paris Hilton has donated Halloween decorations to a children’s charity

The socialite – who recently avoided jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanour drug possession and misdemeanour obstructing an officer after cocaine fell out of her handbag – and her boyfriend Cy Waits spent the day shopping for spooky treats for the ghoulish holiday on October 31, before taking them down to The Rescue Mission Shelter and handing over the traditional gifts.

She tweeted: “Just got home. Had a great day today. Cy and I went to the pumpkin patch to buy a bunch of pumpkins. Also some tools to carve and paint them and lots of candy and toys. Brought everything down to the children at The Rescue Mission Shelter. They were all so excited and grateful. It’s such an amazing feeling to make a child smile and be happy.”

Pumpkins are traditionally hollowed out, with faces carved through the flesh to create spooky shadows when candles are placed inside, while sweets and toys are typically given to children who knock on the doors of neighbours on Halloween.

Paris’ day out yesterday (13.10.10) comes just hours after an intruder was arrested at her Los Angeles property the day before.

The man snuck past a security gate, attacked a security guard and started banging on her door.

He was arrested on suspicion of battery.
