Mischa Barton Faces Mysterious Chinese Sex Toy
Mischa Barton doesn’t know it … but she will make ALL your sexual fantasies come true — as long as your fantasies involve a vibrating, ring-shaped sex toy that can only be purchased in rural China.
Mischa’s face is on the package of the sexual device — and according to the guy who bought it (for research purposes) the disposable toy was offered as part of an array of “Western” amenities in his Chinese hotel.
We investigated the possibility that Mischa released a super secret line of sex toys on the Asian market — but sadly, the actor’s rep told us it just ain’t true … saying, “Um. No. She’s not endorsing any such toy.”
No word if she’ll pursue legal action.

Was Mischa Barton Bullied At School?
by cyan on Dec.28, 2010, under Actress
Mischa Barton was “perpetually” bullied at school.
The former child actress believes moving from England to the US when she was just five years old made her a target to be mocked because she was so different from the other kids.
She said: “I think that’s why I grew up so fast and have always been a bit of an outsider.
“I was in public school in New York where all the kids were in black jeans and Nike sneakers and I was wearing little stockings and Mary-Janes and perpetually getting my a*s kicked in my bottle glasses.”
At the time, ‘The O.C.’ star yearned to be more popular at school, and found it difficult to accept she was picked on because she was an actress.
Mischa, 24, added: “I still am insecure but young Mischa was terribly insecure. The kids around me at school had realised I was an actress and I started getting teased.
“I wasn’t popular so it was easy to integrate me in and out without kids asking too many questions but then ‘The Sixth Sense’ came out. I would have liked to have been popular. I would have liked to have not been on the periphery so much.”

What Mischa Barton Was Scared Off?
by Abbey on Dec.04, 2010, under Actress, Entertainment, updates
Mischa Barton used to be terrified of men
The 24-year-old actress – who is dating musician Ali Love and previously dated The Kooks singer Luke Pritchard and oil heir Brandon Davis – insists she was nothing like Marissa Cooper, the wild child character she played in TV drama ‘The O.C.’ for three years until 2006.
She said: “I hadn’t had sex ever. I was a virgin. I was a very late bloomer and I was terrified of men.
“I was in no rush to kiss a boy and I was in no rush to get a boyfriend because once you go down that road you don’t go back.”
Though Mischa was terrified of men, she is now happy and content in her relationship with 31-year-old Ali.
She added to Tatler magazine: “He’s lovely and he’s a genius. He can do anything. He can do country, rock, whatever, but most of what he does has been electronica.”

Rachel Bilson Won’t Strip For A Movie Role
by cyan on Sep.27, 2010, under Actress
The former ‘O.C.’ actress claims several directors have wanted her to appear naked in their films, but she has remained “strong-willed” and refused to take her clothes off.
She said: “They like to put in nudity wherever they can. But I’m pretty strong-willed and believe it can be avoided.”
Just as the 29-year-old beauty has difficulty with on-screen nudity, she also claims it is more awkward to shoot love scenes with a boyfriend than an actor you don’t know.
Rachel – who starred with her ex-fiance Hayden Christensen in the movie ‘Jumper’ and was in a three-year relationship with her ‘O.C.’ co-star Adam Brody – told the Daily Record newspaper: “Doing a love scene with someone that you’re involved with is more awkward than doing a love scene with someone you’re not dating.
“Either way, it’s definitely weird though. It’s certainly not normal to kiss a guy in front of 10 other guys and a camera.”
Rachel also believes her life has taken a different path to Mischa Barton – who she starred alongside in ‘The O.C.’ – because she was older when she took on the role of Summer Roberts.
She said: “I was 21 when the ‘The O.C.’ started, Mischa was 16.
“I can’t imagine dealing with that kind of success at that age. My life may have been very different had I started out that young.”

Mischa Barton Says “It’s easier to kiss another girl”
by Alice on Dec.09, 2009, under Actress
The former ‘The O.C.’ actress finds it easier to relax during lesbian scenes for her film and TV shows because there is none of the tension that can build up when she has to get romantic on camera with members of the opposite sex.
Mischa, 23, said of her lesbian roles: “I don’t know why that keeps coming up. It doesn’t annoy me that much. It’s so much easier to kiss another girl. You’re so much more relaxed filming and you can have a laugh. It can get a bit tense with a guy.”
Mischa Barton’s love scenes with other girls include in ‘The O.C.’, where her character, Marissa Cooper, had a relationship with Alex Kelly, played by Olivia Wilde and in TV series ‘Once and Again’, where she was pictured kissing Evan Rachel Wood.
She also famously starred in 2008 film ‘You and I’, about two teenage girls, and American and a Russian, how fall in love after meeting at a concert by faux lesbian Russian girl band t.A.T.u and subsequently get caught up in an underworld of drugs and murder.
The ‘Beautiful Life’ star recently revealed she had never had her heart broken.
She said: “I’ve never been dumped. One tried to make it quite mutual though so that felt as close to dumping as I’ve got. I kind of lost it and was like, ‘You are not turning this on me. I dumped you first.’
“I felt like my heart was broken at the end of a couple of relationships but it wasn’t really.”

Mischa Barton’s Hospital Experience
by Alice on Dec.02, 2009, under Actor

The former ‘O.C.’ star was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold earlier this year but says she appreciated the chance to take time out and reassess her life.
She said: “I went to the hospital because of pain with my wisdom teeth and I ended up getting ‘put in’, but that’s because I was so overwhelmingly stressed out and upset.
“I think it was my teeth and the stress of having a new job and travelling. I was miserable. Actresses aren’t given the time to recover after stuff like that – you’re expected to bounce back from surgery and work right away again.
“I was shocked it went that far but I think it was necessary for me to take that time out. I’m so much more settled and calm now.
“Ultimately, it was a positive thing.”
Despite the stigma associated with mental health issues, Mischa insists lots of people suffer from disorders and are hospitalised.
She added to Heat magazine: “It’s something that could’ve happened to anyone – going into hospital and having a bad experience then being held on an involuntary psychiatric hold. It happens to more people than you’d know. It’s a common thing.”
