Miley Cyrus says Liam Hemsworth is the perfect boyfriend – because he listens to her

The singer-and-actress – who recently rekindled her romance with the Australian actor after splitting from him last November following an 18-month relationship – knows Liam is the right man for her because he’s always there to lend a sympathetic ear instead of telling her what to do.

Speaking to philSTAR.com, she said: “I think it’s someone that is always there to listen and I think that’s when people make mistakes because they always want to have the answers and I don’t like people trying to fix me, I just like them being able to listen.”

Miley, 18, insists she’s never been happier and loves everything about her life.

She said: “Everything’s great, I’m happy and there’s nothing I can complain about. I’m performing and doing what I love and I have awesome people in my life so nothing can really go wrong.”

Earlier this year, Miley hinted that she and Liam were back together and he would be joining her on her trip to his native Australia in June for her ‘Gypsy Heart’ tour.

Miley Cyrus is to become an aunt

The ‘Last Song’ actress’ older brother Trace Cyrus is reportedly expecting a baby with former ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ star Brenda Song, according to E!.

It would be the first child for the 23-year-old beauty and Trace, 22, who are thought to have begun dating in May when they appeared at an event for the first time together.

Trace – who has previously dated Demi Lovato – is best known for his band Metro Station and his clothing line, but has made no hint of expanding his family.

Writing on twitter yesterday (23.08.11), he revealed he had enjoyed dinner round his sister Miley’s house and now wanted to thieve her new dog.

He wrote: “I just got home from having a nice dinner at Miley’s house. Got to say I want to steal her new dog Floyd. He is so awesome!”

The rocker also revealed he was planning to add a new tattoo to his already large collection of inkings.

Trace tweeted: “Pretty sure going to see Chris Garcia next month and get both my feet tattooed and a little more done on my back. Very excited for that!”

Miley Cyrus has enjoyed exploring Colombia with Liam Hemsworth.

The singer-and-actress recently reconciled with the Australian hunk – whom she broke up with in November after 18 months of dating – and after being pictured with the actor while touring South America, she took to twitter to express her delight at their visit.

She tweeted: “Thank you Columbia =] Had such a great time! So happy I was able to spend time and enjoy your beautiful country with my BOOOOO. XX. (sic)”

Miley, who was in Colombia for her ‘Gypsy Heart’ tour, was also happy to be photographed by fans as she walked around with 24-year-old Liam.

Though Miley has not confirmed she is back with Liam, the ‘So Undercover’ star recently revealed that she is “not single”.

Miley Cyrus has got a new tattoo

The ‘Party In The USA’ hitmaker added a small inking referencing a “safe place” on her right wrist, her sixth piece of body art, on Sunday (15.05.11) while on vacation in Brazil during a break from her ‘Gypsy Heart’ tour.

Sao Paulo based tattoo artist Fabio Satori was shocked to be asked to create the tattoo for the 18-year-old singer-and-actress as he was originally told it was some of Miley’s friends who wanted his expertise.

He said: “It was fun, it was a surprise on Sunday. A friend of mine works in the production of Miley and called me saying that the team wanted tattoos. Later, I was told that Miley wanted one as well and because, for her, leaving the hotel is always difficult, we did it at the hotel.”

While Fabio refused to reveal the exact design, he admitted the star wanted something to remind her of a “safe place”.

He told website EGO: “Everyone had an idea in mind and references. She asked me something soft, I made two drawings and she chose one. Miley told her mother that she wanted something that refers to a safe port, something that reminded her that she always has a safe place to return to. The significance of the design is one of hope and a reminder to always have your feet on the ground.”

Fabio also took to twitter to reveal that Miley sang for him while he tattooed her.

He tweeted: “Yesterday my team lost one, but I had the pleasure to meet cute Miley Cyrus. Really exciting! While I tattooed the Denikin, she sang live. Privilege, say what? (sic)”

In addition to her latest inking Miley also has the words ‘Just Breathe’ on the left side of her chest, an outline of a love heart on her little finger, a cross on the inside of her ring finger, the world ‘LOVE’ on the inside of her ear, as well a dream catcher on the right side of her ribcage.

Miley Cyrus is obsessed with cupcakes

The singer-and-actress was reportedly delighted when she came across a dessert stand backstage at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (02.04.11) as it was stocked with her favourite type of sweet treat.

An onlooker told website HollywoodLife: “Miley was with her publicist and told her to hang on for a second so she could come over to the Sprinkles cupcakes area and get a mini-strawberry and a mini-red velvet cupcake.

“Miley was like, ‘You don’t understand, Sprinkles is my thing,’ and said her mom ‘has a cupcake problem’ too.”

While attending the star-studded event in Los Angeles, Miley was quizzed on rumours she has reunited with former boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

However, she shrugged off the questions, saying only: “Shhh! I’ll never tell. My lips are sealed.”

The 18-year-old star is preparing to tour Liam’s native Australia and she can’t wait to get back on the road again.

She told US TV show ‘Extra’: “I love being on the road and travelling.”

TMZ now has a partial list of the celebs who had compromising pictures and video stolen from their computers and mobile devices by a group of hackers.

The list includes Ali Larter, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Scarlett Johansson, Busy Phillips, Emma Caulfield, Addison Timlin and Renee Olstead.

TMZ broke the story … the FBI sat down with Vanessa Hudgens Wednesday for more than an hour to determine how her Gmail account got hacked.

We’re told 50 celebs had compromising photos and videos stolen by one group, and one of the ringleaders has his fingerprints on every job.

Our sources say the hackers’ primary motivation is the thrill and challenge of it all — not the money.

Law enforcement sources tell us the FBI is closing in on the hackers.

Miley Cyrus has lashed out at a photographer for the second day in a row

The 18-year-old singer-and-actress was leaving a gym in West Hollywood, California, yesterday afternoon (09.03.11) when she became enraged after a paparazzo got too close her, so tried unsuccessfully to grab his camera, X17Online reports.

It comes after Miley lost her temper with a photographer on Tuesday (08.03.11) after he bumped into her mother Tish at the California Chicken Cafe.

She screamed at him: “You just rammed my mom with your camera. Don’t you ever do that again. You just almost hurt my mom. Don’t you ever even think about it.”

In 2009, Miley claimed her life was being ruined by the paparazzi and blasted photographers who follow her everywhere, as well as branding the profession “disgusting”.

The former ‘Hannah Montana’ star tweeted at the time: “Being a paparazzi is the most DISGUISTING job imaginable.

“Being followed around by creepy photographers is NOT in the job description! YOU try being stuck inside cuz creepers are waiting for u. [sic]“

Miley also revealed she has bad dreams about being photographed.

She said: “I have nightmares about paparazzi. I always have these flashing things in my dreams. They’re so scary.”

Miley Cyrus “misses” ‘Hannah Montana’

The 18-year-old singer-and-actress – who shot to fame playing the titular character in the Disney TV series from the age of 12 – is looking forward to hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ tomorrow evening (05.03.11) but regrets the fact she no longer gets to portray the student and secret pop star on the hit show.

Asked if she misses ‘Hannah Montana’, she told US TV talk show host Jimmy Fallon: “Yeah. I miss doing that stuff you know.

“I love doing this and writing the skits and everything [on ‘SNL]’. I mean, I kinda want to beg to let them let me stay for a little while.”

Miley also donned a fake moustache during her appearance on the talk show after revealing she is obsessed with facial hair.

She admitted: “I have a diamond moustache with me at all times.

“I collect all kind of things with moustaches – pins and mugs and people.”

While Miley misses ‘Hannah Montana’, her father Billy Ray Cyrus – who also appeared in the show – recently claimed it had ruined his family.

The 18-year-old actress-and-singer – who has been named as the worst celebrity influence for the past two consecutive years – was presented with the first-ever Global Action Youth Leadership Award for the positive impact she has on young people’s attitudes at a gala in Los Angeles on Friday (18.02.11) by her idol Hilary Duff.

Accepting the accolade, she said: “I got to tell you that I never thought I would get an award from Hilary Duff. This is like a dream come true to me. She inspired me.

“I want kids to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that’s the right thing to do or what their parents want or what’s important to people around them, but what’s in their heart.”

Miley Cyrus has admitted she made a “bad decision” in smoking a legal high

The actress-and-singer spent the festive season with her family in Nashville, Tennessee, and couldn’t resist taking to her 10-year-old sister Noah’s new karaoke machine to belt out her recent hit ‘Can’t Be Tamed’.

The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer and his estranged wife of 17 years – who announced in October they are divorcing – have put their house at Toluca Lake up for sale for more than $7 million.

Tish has recently been spotted looking for homes in Encino, California and is believed to be downsizing to a $4.6 million pad.

It is not yet known where Billy Ray will move to.

It was recently claimed that ‘Hannah Montana‘ star Miley, 18, blames her popularity for her parents ending their marriage and would give everything up if it would mean they work things out.

A source close to the star told website Popeater.com: “It’s heartbreaking. You would think someone like Miley has everything in the world, but I guarantee she would give it all up in a second if it kept her family together.

Miley Cyrus has been filmed smoking a legal high

Video footage posted on the internet show the 18-year-old singer-and-actress inhaling smoke from a bong – a filtration device for smoking – at a party held at her Los Angeles home on November 28, before bursting into giggles.

According to gossip website TMZ, the smoke comes from a natural herb called salvia, which has psychedelic qualities.

In the clip, Miley takes a hit then says: “OK I’m about to lose it now. I’m having a little bit of a trip right now.”

With music blaring in the background, the ‘Last Song’ star later mistakenly identifies one of the party guests as her former boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

She laughs: “Oh my God! He looks so much like him! He looks so much like Liam. Is that me tripping? He doesn’t look like Liam at all? Dude, that looks just like Liam!”

It is believed the footage was stolen or copied from a camera belonging to a friend of Miley’s.

She headed straight to the nightspot after performing at the American Music Awards (AMAs) and was seen smooching the 18-year-old Canadian star – who appears in new Nickelodeon TV series ‘Victorious’, which follows the life of fictional aspiring singer Tori Vega and her days at performing arts high school Hollywood Arts.

Despite the embrace, it has been claimed that Miley and Avan are not dating.

With her parents in the middle of a divorce, underage Disney pop princess Miley Cyrus, 17, threw back a Corona cerveza at a club in Madrid, Spain last night … where the legal drinking age is technically 18 — but there’s a catch.

TMZ contacted several Spanish authorities who each confirmed the law … and then made it clear that underage drinking is simply no big deal in their country.

One police officer told us … people as young as 16 are cool to consume “certain” beverages in Madrid — but the cop refused to explain what those beverages are.

Miley Cyrus is “not taking sides” in her parents’ divorce

The ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ hitmaker is said to be “upset” at her parents – 49-year-old singer Billy Ray Cyrus and 43-year-old mother Tish – getting a divorce after 17 years of marriage and hopes to keep her feelings on the matter private.

A source told People.com: “Miley is not taking any sides on this. She has been upset recently. She’s trying to keep everything private while her family works through this.”

Billy Ray filed divorce papers on October 26, and announced the pair were hoping for people to pray for them to get through the emotional time.

In a statement, he said: “As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”

The pair are expected to file for joint custody of their three youngest children Miley, 17 Noah, 10 and Braison, 16.

News of the divorce comes at a difficult time for Miley – she is thought to have split up with her boyfriend, Australian hunk Liam Hemsworth, for the second time recently.

Miley Cyrus has reportedly split from Liam Hemsworth – again

The ‘Hannah Montana’ star and the Australian actor – who rekindled their romance in September following a brief separation – reportedly called time on their 18-month relationship a few weeks ago.

A source insists the couple are “not together” anymore following photos which emerged at the weekend of Liam, 20, getting close to model Yolanda Vendy.

The source added to gossip website HollywoodLife.com: “If Liam and Yolanda were hooking up – it wasn’t cheating.”

Liam – who has spent the previous month in his native Australia, while Miley has been working in Los Angeles – was seen whispering with Yolanda at a private table in Sydney’s Eve nightclub on Friday (29.11.10), with onlookers claiming he definitely “looked single”.

One club insider said: “He is definitely back on the market after splitting with Miley.”

When asked if she was friends with the actor, Yolanda told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: “If that’s what you want to call it.”

Liam has refused to be drawn on the break-up reports, only saying that Miley was working in the US while he spent time with friends at home.
