Mel B’s husband won’t be her birthing partner

The former Spice Girls singer is currently expecting her third child and the 35-year-old star – who also has daughters Phoenix, 12, and Angel, four, from previous relationships and is stepmother to husband Stephen Belafonte’s daughter Giselle, six – but doesn’t think her spouse would cope well in the delivery room.

She told new! magazine: “Will he be my birthing partner? Oh God no, he’s going to be horrendous.

“I mentioned to him that at some point we’re going to pack our overnight bag and he literally went white.

“So I instantly had a flash forward that he’s going to be all over the place and I’ just going to be sitting there breathing and doing what I need to do and laughing at him pacing.”

Mel also insisted she doesn’t want to have a natural birth without pain relief after one of her previous experiences made her realise how difficult it would be.

She said: “It’s all about the drugs. I’ve experienced not having pain medication – not by choice but because my pain medication wore off – so I’ve experienced the hard corners of it.”

Mel B can’t stop eating when she is pregnant

The former Spice Girls singer is currently expecting her third child and the 35-year-old star – who also has daughters Phoenix, 12, and Angel, four, from previous relationships and is stepmother to husband Stephen Belafonte’s daughter Giselle, six – thinks she will end up the size of a “house” before she gives birth in four months time.

She said: “Every pregnancy is different but one guarantee is I go like a house, arse, t*ts, everything.

“I’m at the waddling stage. I’ve got three big bumps!

“What can I say, I like eating. I think that when you’re pregnant, you kind of eat what you want, when you want. Mine is all day long and all night long. But I don’t mind.”

Mel is usually known for her toned physique but she admits she has done barely any exercise since getting pregnant.

She added: “I go off any kind of workout when I’m pregnant. All my three pregnancies I’ve kind of avoided it.”

The new Australian ‘X Factor’ judge also admitted her new fuller figure is a big hit with her husband.

She said: “Stephen can’t wait for me to get to the proper baby belly-popping stage.”

Mel B’s husband gets on her nerves

The former Spice Girl – who is expecting a baby with her spouse Stephen Belafonte this summer, her third child in total – admits while the movie producer is her “best friend”, the pair often annoy one another.

She explained: “I married my best friend. We have the same interests – we’re both quirky, funny people. We just get each other. We have a laugh. But of course we get on each other’s nerves at times but that’s what a relationship is. For the most part we have a lot of fun.”

However, Mel – who is well-known for her love of exercise – finds it hard to work out alongside her husband because he is always messing about. She added: “We have a gym at home that he’s been up to a few times, but he just messes about. It’s kind of funny.” Mel already has 12-year-old Phoenix Chi from her marriage to backing dancer Jimmy Gulzar and three-year-old Angel Iris, whose father is Eddie Murphy.

Stephen has a six-year-old daughter, Giselle, from a previous relationship. The couple and their kids appear in reality TV show ‘Mel B: It’s a Scary World’.

Mel B would “love” another Spice Girls reunion

The 35-year-old star hasn’t discussed with her former bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C – the possibility of taking to the stage again but thinks they should get back together to make new music.

She said: “I’d love to get back with the Spice Girls.

“I’ve always championed more Spice Girls concerts, DVDs and music. But we haven’t had that conversation as a group yet and I can’t speak on everyone’s behalf.”

In the meantime, Mel is focused on bringing the Spice Girls musical, ‘Viva Forever’, to the stage, but is remaining tight-lipped about the exact nature of the show.

She added: “Right now, we’re all talking about the musical ‘Viva Forever’, which is coming out next year. I’m not allowed to say anything about it yet though.”

The Spice Girls first split in 1998 following the departure of Geri. They reunited as a five-piece in 2007 but their world tour came to a sudden end the following year, with many proposed shows scrapped.

Mel B is worried married people will think she’s “a pervert” – because she speaks about her sex life so much

The former Spice Girls singer is happy to openly talk about her bedroom antics with husband Stephen Belafonte, but does worry about how people could perceive her.

Mel said: “We have lots of sex, we raise our kids very well and Stephen cooks dinner every night for the whole family – life’s good.

“Everybody has sex, especially if you’re married. I don’t know if married people will be inspired by me though – they might just think I’m a pervert.”

Mel – who raises her daughters, Phoenix, 11, and Angel, three, from previous relationships and Stephen’s child Giselle, seven, with her husband – also revealed she thinks having sex is a good way to keep fit.

The 35-year-old star – who has been married to Stephen for three years – added: “I think any kind of sexual activity is a bit of a workout if you do it right. We have good communication with each other and I never fake it.”

Mel B hates the way her husband always pees on the toilet seat

The former Spice Girls singer and her film producer spouse Stephen Belafonte often row over one another’s annoying habits, with Mel particularly despising her partner’s “unhygienic” bathroom ritual.

Stephen admitted: “I’m always p***ing on the toilet seat.

Mel added: “That is so annoying. Do you understand that it’s rude and unhygienic? Whenever I go to the toilet in the middle of the night, I sit in your pee.”

Although Mel hates Stephen peeing on the toilet seat, her husband is refusing to curb his bad habit until his wife addresses her own dirty habits.

Stephen told more magazine: “I’m going to keep doing it until she starts putting the lid back on the toothpaste. Her hair gets in it. Do you know how nasty it is to find a really long hair in my teeth when I’m brushing?”

Despite their bickering, Mel and Stephen – who have been married for three years and raise the singer’s daughters Phoenix, 11, and Angel, three, and his child Giselle, seven, together – believe they will never get divorced as they have regular relationship counselling.

Mel said: “The good thing about relationship counselling is that problems get squashed before they get too big. We get touch ups on the way, so we’ll never get to the point where we’re like, ‘Oh my god, we’re getting divorced.’ “

Stephen added: “That is true, we’ll never get divorced.”

Mel then joked: “I think we’ll just kill each other instead.”

Mel B’s ‘Peep Show’ Exposes Her to Lawsuit

Mel B’s booty shaking — on the Las Vegas strip and in exercise videos — just got her sued by a company looking for a share of her financial pie.

BMEDIA filed the lawsuit today against Mel, her husband Stephen Belafonte, and their business partners for fraud and breach of contract.

According to the suit — filed in L.A. County Superior Court — BMEDIA struck a deal in 2008 to invest in upcoming Mel B projects to the tune of $500,000. In the docs, the company claims it was assured — by team Mel — that she had concerts, producers, and an album lined up that would reap big money.

In the suit, BMEDIA claims team Mel bailed on their deal and instead went on to perform nearly nude in “Peep Show” at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas and make her “Totally Fit: Mel B” exercise vid. BMEDIA thinks it contractually deserves a cut of those money makers, according to the suit.

BMEDIA is suing for a big chunk o’ change — its $500 grand investment plus interest, and the 12.5% cut it says it was promised in the original deal.

Calls to Mel’s rep have not been returned.

Melanie Brown (born 29 May 1975) is an English pop singer-songwriter, actress, author and television presenter. She is best known as one of the members of the girl group the Spice Girls. Melanie was given the nickname “Scary Spice” by the British media because of her outrageous, “in-your-face” attitude, thick Leeds accent, throaty laugh and manner of dress.

Mel B used to “hang her head in shame” when people doubted Eddie Murphy was the father of her child

The former Spice Girls star – who has a three-year-old daughter Angel with the comedian – admitted she doesn’t think the ‘Flubber’ star will ever have a role in the tot’s life because of his conduct during her pregnancy.

She explained: “Angel is three and I didn’t expect her real biological father to pop back into her life. I think, in my mind, I fought so hard for justice at the very beginning of my pregnancy. I was hanging my head in shame because everyone was like, ‘Is that really the father?’ but I knew what I knew.

“Do I really want to be back on a red carpet entertaining everyone else’s world like, ‘Ooh, Eddie’s back in our life – we’re one big happy family’”

A DNA test eventually proved Eddie was the father of Angel, but Mel – who also has an 11-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi with first husband Jimmy Gulzar – admitted the period when he denied fathering Angel was a “horrible” time.

Mel – who is now married to producer Stephen Belafonte – added on her new reality TV show ‘It’s A Scary World’ : “I had to keep my head down – I had no choice but to just carry on with everything. It brings up all that again and all that hurt I went through by myself and pregnant.

Victoria Beckham gives her friends style advice.

The singer-turned-fashion designer has thrilled her pals with how well her new career is going and delights in sharing her knowledge and expert tips.

Her former Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton – who was recently pictured wearing one of her pal’s creations – revealed: “I chose it myself and I love it. Victoria’s dresses always make you feel so stylish. I am so lucky to have a great friend who designs wonderful outfits! She is an amazing designer.

“It is so difficult to go from music and do something else and there is real pressure, but it’s worked out so brilliantly for her.

“She has given me her advice before and told me to keep it classic.”

Emma – who was also joined in the group by Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Mel C – also spoke of how much she enjoys spending time with her former bandmates’ children.

She added:  “It was so nice on the last tour. I had just had my son Beau at the time. Mel C hadn’t had Scarlet at that point and she spent a lot of time with Beau. And so when I found out she was pregnant, I was so pleased. We all go, ‘Look at us with our bubbas!’ ”

However, the quintet don’t pass on parenting advice to one another.

Emma added: “Do we swap tips? No, we are gossiping girls!”

The ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers – also consisting of Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton – pay a visit to the singer-turned-fashion designer and her soccer star husband David Beckham every year, where they get “tipsy” on wine, eat lots of food and sing along to their old pop records.

Singer Emma is quoted by the Daily Express newspaper as saying: “We all go over to David and Victoria’s for lovely food and good wine. It’s the only time we all get to see each other, we get a bit tipsy and listen to Spice Girls songs. I can’t believe I’ve admitted that!”

In addition to preparing for their annual get together, the former bandmates have been spending a lot more time together recently as they work on their upcoming musical.

Earlier this year, the group revealed they are working on a stage production called ‘Viva Forever’ – which will depict the girls’ rags-to-riches rise to fame.

The musical will include 14 of the band’s biggest tracks and is due to open on November 5 next year.

The singers also plan to launch a talent show to find five women perfect to portray them on the stage.

The girl group have chosen to name the proposed musical after their 1998 number one hit and the script for the show is presently being written.

The musical – which will tell the rags-to-riches rise to fame of the five members, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Emma Bunton – is being written by Kim Fuller, who also penned the script for the group’s 1997 film ‘Spiceworld’. Kim is the sister of former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller.

The production will feature 14 of the band’s biggest songs, and is set to begin on November 5 next year.

It has previously been reported the group will hold a talent search to find the cast who will play the Spices on stage.

A source said: “It’s a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs.

“The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time. But then they can launch a musical which could run for months or even years.

“It will take on a life of its own. The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one.”

The Spice Girls, who formed in 1994, last performed together in Toronto, Canada, in February 2008.

The R’n’B star has a huge crush on the “wild” former Spice Girl and admits she would be his dream Christmas present.

He said: “If there was one thing I could have for Christmas, it would be Mel B in my stocking. She’s the perfect woman – sexy, confident and slightly wild!”

A documentary film based on Michael Jackson’s last rehearsal footage screened all over the world.The film is directed by Kenny Ortega of High School Musical fame who was hired by Jackson to choreograph his O2 concerts. The film which consists of behind-the-scenes footage of the star preparing for the highly anticipated performances. It includes dramatic scenes recorded at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles just hours before Jacko died. More than 100 hours of rehearsal footage was recorded before Jackson died.

In this film Jako is seen working with singers, dancers, choreographers and special effects experts. Jackson had died on June 25 2009 at the age of 50, just weeks before his first concert in the 50-date series at the O2 arena.

‘This Is It’ – which screened simultaneously at 19 premieres around the world – was drawn from over 100 hours of behind-the-scenes clips shot in Los Angeles and showed a multi-million pound spectacular featuring pyrotechnics, complex dance routines and elaborate stage sets.

However, a group of fans calling themselves ‘This Is Not It’ had called for a boycott of the film, claiming it covered up the ‘Thriller’ star’s poor health and glosses over the enormous stress he was under when he died.

Their threatened protest failed to take place, though fewer supporters than expected turned out to see stars including Australian pop star Peter Andre and former Spice Girls star Mel B.

Paying tribute to the pop icon, Mel said: “He was very humble, down to earth, sensitive. He was very, very sweet.”

Irish boy band Westlife, rapper Chipmunk, former Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan and Harry Connick Jr. also attended the UK premiere.

In Los Angeles, Michael’s relatives – including brother Jermaine, who hailed his late sibling as a “messenger of God” – were joined by celebrities including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton.
