Battered Men Beg for Michael Bay’s Forgiveness
Michael Bay not only just won a dismissal of a battery lawsuit filed against him … he even got a written apology.
It’s the justice Bay was looking for … after two men claimed the director’s private security guard confronted them at a Hollywood nightclub and bashed their faces in with a pistol. Thing is, Bay wasn’t even there.
Now, after Bay’s legal pit bull Marty Singer did his thing … the accusers are groveling for forgiveness in a letter issued through their attorney — and obtained by TMZ.
In the letter the men “sincerely apologize to Michael Bay for his inclusion as a defendant in the lawsuit … he had nothing to do with the alleged incident.”
We’re told Bay is accepting the apology — and no further action will be taken.

Minka Kelly: I Didn’t Freak Out on Delta
Minka Kelly claims she didn’t freak out on an airplane earlier today … and never called boyfriend Derek Jeter … this according to her lawyer.
There’s a report circulating that Minka had an epic meltdown on a flight from NY to LAX earlier today when she wasn’t allowed to put her dog on her seat during takeoff.
According to the report, it took all seven flight attendants, a personal plea from the pilot … and a phone call to boyfriend Derek Jeter to calm her down.
But Kelly’s lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ … Minka paid extra to bring her dog on board the flight. There was never an issue on the L.A./New York trip. But Singer says on the return trip, the flight attendant would not let Minka’s dog in the first class cabin during takeoff and landing because of space issues. Singer says Minka took her dog back to coach for takeoff and landing and spent the rest of the time with her pooch in first class.
Singer calls the freak-out story “ridiculous,” adding she would have been kicked off the flight if she went nuts. As for calling Jeter, Singer says it didn’t happen — she called her manager who booked the flight in an attempt to convince the flight attendant she had made accommodations for the dog in first class.

Abdul-Jabbar Slams Basketball Card Company
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is outraged that a trading card company has traded on his image after he specifically shut them down … and now Kareem is gunning for more than a million.
In a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ … Kareem claims The Upper Deck Company plastered 6 Kareem pics from his days as a UCLA Bruin on its “Greats of the Game” series.
Kareem … who is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer with 38,387 points … claims Upper Deck had the audacity to market the cards after he turned them down flat.
The lawsuit, filed by legal pit bull Marty Singer, notes that when Kareem left the NBA, he blocked more shots, won more Most Valuable Player awards, played in more All-Star Games and logged more seasons than any other player. Shockingly, Singer makes no mention of Kareem’s epic performance in the greatest movie of all time — “Airplane!”
The lawsuit seeks more than $1 million in damages.

Michael Bay’s Lawyer: Apologize, Or Else!
Michael Bay’s lawyer is red-faced angry over a lawsuit filed against him … alleging his bodyguard pistol-whipped two dudes outside a Hollywood nightclub.
Legal pit bull Marty Singer has fired off a letter — obtained by TMZ — to lawyers for the two alleged pistol-whipped dudes, claiming their lawsuit is “false and fabricated” and if it isn’t dismissed immediately … Singer will file a mega-suit of his own.
Singer claims Bay was not even at the nightclub in question on August 24, 2008. What’s more, Singer says Bay has never had a bodyguard, so the whole thing is bogus.
But wait, there’s more. Singer not only wants the lawsuit against Bay dismissed, he wants “a sincere public apology” for what he calls “malicious prosecution.”

David admitted to PEOPLE mag he had a relationship with a woman, but “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed….”
TMZ knows what went down. We’re told Boreanaz had a short-term relationship with the woman – one source says they hooked up “2 or 3 times.” Sources say he started paying her money — several thousand dollars here and there — but she began demanding more, threatening to go public with the affair. Boreanaz then confessed the affair to Jaime Bergman, his wife of 9 years.
Enter Gloria Allred, who reps the mistress. Allred contacted Boreanaz’ lawyer — legal pit bull Marty Singer — and demanded 6 figures.

Seagal’s New Accuser — Ray Charles Connection
The Steven Seagal alleged sexual assault scandal now has a Ray Charles connection … — TMZ has learned one of the women who just came forward accusing Seagal of making unwanted sexual advances is Ray’s granddaugher.
As we first reported, two new women have given sworn declarations to back up Kayden Nguyen’s lawsuit against the star. One is Blair Robinson — who claims she first met Seagal at her granddaddy Ray’s funeral in 2004.
According to Robinson, she was invited to Seagal’s home after the funeral — along with her father Ray Charles Jr. – to discuss a job opportunity with the actor.
In the declaration, Blair claims she took a job as Seagal’s assistant one month after the meeting — but on day 1, she claims Seagal came to her room and told her she was required to give him massages. In the docs, Blair also claims Seagal tried teaching her the proper method by massaging her.
In the docs, Blair states, “It became clear to me that he wanted and expected sexual favors as part of my job duties.” Blair claims she quit after the first day.
Seagal’s lawyer, Marty Singer, vehemently denies the accusations and claims Seagal has “no knowledge” of either Blair or the other woman who provided declarations.
Singer added, “The declarations were clearly prepared by Nguyen’s lawyer to be leaked to the media to help bolster his client’s meritless claim

Two More Accusers in Steven Seagal Sex Case
Two more women have come forward claiming Steven Seagal made unwanted sexual advances toward them while they worked for the actor … but Seagal’s lawyer tells a very different story.
TMZ has learned both women have provided Kayden Nguyen with sworn declarations, to aid Nguyen’s lawsuit against Seagal — in which the 23-year-old claims she was sexually assaulted by the actor during her stint as his personal assistant.
In one woman’s declaration, obtained by TMZ, Seagal is accused of luring her into his bedroom, putting his hands on the woman’s breasts and stating that he was “checking just as a doctor would for lumps.”
The declaration continues, “Seagal reached his hand down my pants. He said, ‘I just wanted to touch it for a second to see what it felt like.’”
The woman claims she screamed and cried until Seagal let her go.
Like Nguyen, both women claim they were hired by Seagal to serve as his assistant, but quit after Seagal made inappropriate sexual advances.
TMZ spoke with Seagal’s lawyer, Marty Singer, who tells us, “My client has no knowledge of these women and a preliminary check of his employment records does not show that they ever worked for him.”
Singer also stated that regardless of whether they worked for him or not, their claims are “absurd.”
Singer concluded, “The declarations were clearly prepared by Nguyen’s lawyer to be leaked to the media to help bolster his client’s meritless claims.”
