The 53-year-old singer will celebrate 30 years in the music industry in 2012 and while she has led an interesting, and sometimes controversial, life she refuses to regret anything she’s done as she’s only focused on the future.

She said: “I don’t think much about the past, to tell you the truth. I’m too busy looking forward.”

Madonna – who is currently promoted new movie ‘W.E.’, which she directed – also says people should stop worrying about having the perfect life and be content with what they’ve got.

The mother-of-four told the Daily Record newspaper: “Stop striving for perfection because there is no such thing. We have to look beneath the surface and I think that we can’t take it personally and literally. We can’t judge a book by its cover, you have to read the book.

“How do you expect to know a person? You can’t expect to know who they are by reading an article in a magazine about them. We live in a society that is obsessed with celebrities and it’s pretty easy to get famous very quickly now. I so I think there is an obsession with celebrity and people mistake getting to photograph somebody in their backyard, playing on the swings with their children, as actually some kind of intimacy. But it’s an illusion.”

Madonna impressed her boyfriend’s family with a £50,000 stay in the south of France

The 53-year-old singer is currently dating 24 year old Brahim Zaibat, and in a bid to impress his mother Patricia Vidal and five of his cousins, she put them up in the Hotel Du Cap on the Cap d’Antibes in the South of France and gave them a limitless budget to enjoy.

A source told the Sun newspaper: “Madonna went all out to impress Brahim’s mother and his cousins. She told them all to order whatever they liked – which they couldn’t believe as the bill for one meal alone came to more than £1,000.”

The two families even enjoyed a night out at the Palais nightclub in Cannes before Madonna had to jet to Venice to promote her new movie
‘W.E.’ about the love life of Britain’s Edward VIII and American socialite Wallace Simpson.

Madonna – who has previously dated model Jesus Luz since her marriage break-up with Guy Ritchie in 2008 and was once wed to Sean Penn – recently revealed she was attracted to “creative” men.

She said: “I am and was attracted to very creative people which is why I married Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie, very talented directors, and the  both encouraged me as a director to do what I did. They were both very supportive.”

The 53-year-old singer has confessed she was attracted to her ex-husbands Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie because they were interesting and talented and admits both encouraged her to pursue her personal acting and directing dreams.

Speaking at a press conference following the screening of her new movie ‘W.E.’ – which Madonna directed – at the Venice Film Festival, she said: “I am and was attracted to very creative people which is why I married Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie, very talented directors, and they both encouraged me as a director to do what I did. They were both very supportive.”

Although this is only the second movie the pop superstar has directed, she has appeared in a number of films – including ‘Dick Tracy’, ‘Body of Evidence’ and ‘Evita’, which earned her a Golden Globe Award – and admits movies inspired her to become an artist when she was a child.

She revealed: “I’ve always loved film, all my life. As a child I was always inspired by movies and I always had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to make one … Making films is really hard in the first place. You have to believe in your subject matter and be passionate about it because there will be challenges along the way. You have to be prepared like the captain of a ship, no matter what happens you have got to keep going. So your spiritual foundation has to be strong.”

‘W.E.’ focuses on the relationship between Britain’s King Edward VIII’s and American divorcee Wallis Simpson and his decision to abdicate the British throne in 1936 to marry her.

Madonna’s life story is to be documented in a comic book

The highs and lows of the 52-year-old singer’s phenomenal career – which has spanned almost 30 years – will be encapsulated in a 32-page graphic novel produced by publishers Bluewater Productions Inc. as part of their ‘Female Force’ series, which has previously featured the likes of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Sarah Palin and Barbara Walters.

Jason Schultz, executive vice president of Bluewater, said: “Our goal is to show the little-known events and influences that resulted in Madonna becoming the phenomenon she remains to this day, more than a quarter-century after she burst upon the scene.

“A visual medium provides perspective that is not only accessible but more relatable to the average person without losing any of the information involved.”

Penned by C.W. Cooke and drawn by Michael Johnson, the comic book is due for release in August.

Cooke added: “Most pop stars owe everything to this woman. It’s amazing all of the things that she’s done in her lifetime, and I have a feeling that this is still only the beginning.”

An alleged “stalker” was arrested this weekend after breaking into Madonna’s home

Grzegorz Matlok, 29, was wrestled to the ground by bodyguards at the 52-year-old star’s £10 million 10-bedroom mansion in London’s Marylebone area at 5.30am on Saturday morning (12.03.11) after being found clutching several of the ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker’s possessions.

Despite having a huge security team and a state of the art CCTV system in place, the intruder – who the singer’s bodyguards told police was a “stalker” – gained entry to the Georgian townhouse by smashing a side window while the singer was in the US mourning the death of her grandmother Elsie Mae Fortin.

A senior police source told The Sun newspaper: “Something dreadful has happened here. The security around the world’s most famous pop star should be impregnable.”

Polish-born Matlok was charged with burglary last night (13.03.11) and is now due to appear before magistrates in Westminster today (14.03.11).

At the time of the break-in, Madonna – who has four children, Lourdes, 14, Rocco, 10, Mercy, six, and five-year-old David – was in Bay City, Michigan, paying her respects to her late 99-year-old grandmother, who helped raise the singer and her five siblings after their mother died of breast cancer when Madonna was just five.

This isn’t the first time the pop superstar has been plagued by a stalker.

In September 2010, retired fire-fighter Robert Linhart was charged with criminal mischief, graffiti and being in possession of a homemade 7.5 inch ice pick, after writing messages to Madonna on the pavement outside her apartment in Upper West Side, New York City.

The messages read ‘Meet me please’, ‘Tell me yes or no’, and ‘If it’s yes, my dream will come true. If it’s no, I will go.’

According to court documents, he reportedly told officers: “I can be here. This is police brutality. I have a right to do this. I am not doing anything wrong. I keep running into Madonna. I saw her in 1992 and I’d actually like to meet her in person. I won’t stop until I actually meet Madonna.

“I’m going to go right back there and do it again.”

Lea Michele doesn’t want to meet her heroes

The ‘Glee’ actress – who plays Rachel Berry in the TV musical drama – admits she has been “embarrassed” by her encounters with some famous faces, so is content with never meeting people she admires.

She said: “I’ve thoroughly embarrassed myself in front of my idols that I have met, so I’m fine with keeping them far away.”

Though Lea doesn’t worry about meeting her heroes, she would love it if Madonna or Justin Timberlake were given guest roles on the programme.

She said: “It would be great if Madonna had a cameo – she would be amazing! I think she could be the health teacher or something. Maybe the sex-education teacher!

“I’m always saying Justin Timberlake would be great too.”

One person who Lea did get to hang out with on the set of the show was Britney Spears, who played herself in an episode last year and the brunette beauty admits she was overwhelmed by their special guest.

She added: “She was amazing. I was a bit star-struck. She was so professional and looked amazing. I had to pinch myself to check that it was actually happening.”

Joining Amy on the list of bad wives were Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Lady Gaga, while Charlie Sheen – who entered rehab last week for drink and drug problems – was named least desirable celebrity husband., closely followed by Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise.

While Amy and Charlie weren’t popular marriage material with readers, Natalie Portman – who is expecting her first child with fiance Benjamin Millepied – was given the title of most desirable celebrity wife, with Britain’s Prince Harry being named as the ultimate husband.

Megan Fox, Katy Perry and Kate Moss all made the top ten for the perfect wife, while Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, David Beckham and Harry’s brother Prince William were in the running for ideal husband.

Paul Stacey, a spokesman for My OK! Wedding said: “We were stunned by the results. The least attractive celeb brides and grooms were the party monsters. And I was shocked that Madonna, Lady Gaga and Gwyneth Paltrow were in the least desirable top ten.

“And amazingly, now that Harry has cleaned up his act and proven himself to the world with his work in Afghanistan, he has topped the poll beating all the expected candidates like Robert Pattinson and even his brother William.”

Madonna has been named the most talked-about celebrity of the decade.

The 52-year-old singer has been mentioned more in the UK print press than any other star in the last 10 years, with 46,017 namechecks.

The huge number dwarfs those of second and third placed stars Simon Cowell and Robbie Williams, who received 29,888 and 28,563 mentions each.

Brian Merron of researcher Kantar Media , who compiled the figures, wasn’t surprised by the outcome.

He said: “This is why she’s hailed as a legend.”

Contributing to Madonna’s namechecks in the last decade were her marriage and divorce to Guy Ritchie, subsequent relationships with Jesus Luz and Brahim Zaibat, the birth of her son Rocco, now 10, adoption of tots David and Mercy, and four huge world tours in support of new material.

Though Simon was named in second place overall, the research showed he had been mentioned more in the UK press than anyone else in 2010.

Other celebrities to feature in the list included Kate Moss, Britney Spears, Victoria and David Beckham, the late Michael Jackson, Sir Paul McCartney and Kylie Minogue.

Madonna is reportedly dating a backing dancer

The 52-year-old singer – who was most recently in a relationship with 24-year-old model Jesus Luz – was spotted kissing and laughing with Brahim Zaibat, who is believed to be around 20 years younger than her, in New York last Thursday (14.10.10).

A source at nightspot SL said: “They came in together and were holding hands in a private area. Madonna got up and was dancing for an hour straight before going back to her man. They immediately started making out in front of other guests.”

They later moved on to Sullivan Room, where they happily danced together and showed their affection for one another.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “After working the dance floor, they found more private seating where they hugged and kissed for the rest of the night.”

Friends of Brahim – who was initially misidentified as another dancer, Brahim Rachiki – say the pair have been dating several months but have been keen to keep the romance under wraps.

One pal told website X17online: “They’ve been seeing each other for a few months but really keeping it on the down low. Madonna did not want this getting out before she had time to see if things were really going to work out between her and Brahim or not. Things have been going well so she was about to go public with the relationship anyway.”

It is unknown when Madonna – who has four children, Lourdes, 13, Rocco, 10, David, five, and Mercy, four – split from Jesus, but the hunk has recently been spotted flirting with a number of women in his native Brazil.

Madonna has been getting advice on her new film, ‘W.E’, from Britain’s royal family

The ‘Celebration’ singer has met with Britain’s Prince Edward and Princess Michael of Kent to ask them for information on King Edward VIII’s romance with US divorcee Wallis Simpson so the movie is entirely accurate.

Madonna has also met with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, as well as Buckingham Palace staff and historians, to help her tell the story of how King Edward gave up the throne for Wallis in 1936, after a national outcry at their plans to marry.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “When the Palace was contacted by the film company for guidance on historical fact, they were a bit apprehensive at first given the subject.

“But when they heard Madonna was behind it they lent their support and arranged for key people to get involved.”

“The entire Royal Family were contacted and asked if they would like to meet Madonna and production staff.

“Some senior figures turned it down. But others jumped at the chance.”

The film will examine the relationship between Edward and Wallis, which was opposed by the British establishment and Prime Minister and led to Edward’s abdication after less than a year as monarch.

Madonna’s film – her second attempt at directing after 2008s ‘Filth and Wisdom’ – will also feature a modern romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.

Madonna plans to move back to the UK

The ‘Celebration’ singer – who moved back to her native US following her divorce from British film director Guy Ritchie in 2008 – plans to head back to Britain because she “feels her heart is” in the country, but she will have to apply to move back as she is no longer married to a UK citizen.

A source said: “Madonna has loved being back in the States since the divorce but England is where she feels her heart is now.

“She is deliberately focusing on work that will keep her in Britain.

“She has had meetings with her London legal team, Mischon de Reya, to arrange a visa that will enable her to move back for good. Now that she is no longer a British citizen by virtue of being married to Guy, she is having to apply like everyone else.”

Madonna’s eldest son Rocco, 10, is able to stay in Britain because he is Guy’s son, but her other children – Lourdes, 13 and adopted kids David Banda, five and Mercy James, four – will need their mother to complete her visa application before they can live in the UK.

The source added to the Daily Mail newspaper: “The other children will automatically gain visas as Madonna’s dependents as long as she can get past the paperwork.”

“The past couple of years have been the breath of fresh air Madonna needed after her divorce, but she is now ready to embrace the British lifestyle again.”

Madonna is not the only star to be planning on a move to England – Lady Gaga is also said to be keen to uproot her life to the UK and purchase a castle in the country.

Gwen Stefani has been immortalised in wax

The ‘Hollaback Girl’ singer is the latest celebrity to be honoured with her own waxwork figure, after legendary museum Madame Tussauds was inundated with requests for a model of Gwen to be made.

Madame Tussauds’ General Manager Rosita Chapman said: “We are very excited to have Gwen Stefani’s figure added to our attraction! She’s consistently rated high on our request list, so we are very pleased to bring her figure to all her loyal fans.”

The 40-year-old singer smiled for the cameras as she posed alongside her waxwork double at the launch of the figure yesterday (22.09.10) in Las Vegas.

It costs $300,000 to produce the lifelike figurine, and experts reportedly spent six months perfecting the ‘No Doubt’ singer’s appearance from 250 measurements and photographs.

Las Vegas Weekly’s Robin Leach reports: “The new Gwen Stefani figure took 350 hours to sculpt and 175 hours to mould. Each strand of hair, weighing 10 ounces in total, was inserted individually and then styled, taking some 140 hours over 5 weeks to complete. Other fun facts include 28 hours spent on her teeth and 14 hours spent on her eyes.”

Gwen’s new figure will join a galaxy of star statues including Snoop Dogg, US President Barack Obama, Michael Jackson and Madonna.

Madonna Accused of ‘Material Girl’ Theft

A clothing company is taking legal action against Madonna, claiming the material girl has ripped off the “Material Girl” trademark.

L.A. Triumph, Inc. claims in a new lawsuit it’s been marketing “Material Girl” clothing since 1997, selling millions of bucks worth of threads under its trademark.

According to the documents, obtained by TMZ, Madonna, aka Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, has jacked the name “Material Girl” for her junior clothing line Material Girl Brand – which launched this year.

L.A. Triumph wants a declaration from a federal judge that Madonna’s use of “Material Girl” creates “deception” in the marketplace.

In addition to the declaration, L.A. Triumph wants the judge to order Madonna and her company to turn over all of the profits they’ve made from their clothing line.

Madonna is reportedly planning to move back to Britain.

The singer – who relocated from London to New York following her divorce from film director Guy Ritchie in 2008 – is currently in London directing her new movie ‘W.E.’, about late British monarch King Edward VIII’s decision to abdicate the throne for his American divorcee lover Wallis Simpson.

Despite originally planning to only stay for the six-month shoot, Madonna has rediscovered her love for the UK capital and told ex- husband Guy she wants to move back to Britain for good.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “Guy says she talks about their home in Wiltshire, the kids and their friends in London. She seems nostalgic for her old life. She had built up a big circle of friends and fell in love with London. She’ll always love New York but she feels more at ease in London.”

Madonna – who has four children, Lourdes, 13, Rocco, nine, Mercy, five, and four-year-old David – is believed to be keen to move back to Britain so she can reconnect with her old friends.

The source explained: “The person she spends most time with is her daughter Lourdes but she is desperate for more adult company.”

U2 have earned $130 million over the last 12 months.

The Irish rockers – who were recently forced to scrap a number of concerts after frontman Bono suffered a back injury – netted the staggering sum between July 2009 and June 2010 thanks to selling over 1.3 million tickets for their epic ‘360’ tour, boosting their earnings further with merchandise sales and strong radio play for their extensive back catalogue.

Although U2 were named the Top Earning Musicians of 2010, according to figures compiled by Forbes magazine, veteran rock group AC/DC came a close second, earning $114 million from a tour which grossed $226 million – $2.3 million per night.

Beyonce Knowles was named the highest earning female of the year, taking third place with a stash of $87 million, thanks to a world tour, sales from her House of Dereon fashion line and endorsement deals.

Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z also featured in the list, taking the sixth spot after raking in $63 million from record sales, a tour and his stakes in the New Jersey Nets basketball team, 40/40 nightclub chain and hit stage show ‘Fela!’.

He was beaten by Bruce Springsteen and Britney Spears, who amassed $70 million and $64 million respectively.

Eccentric singer Lady Gaga was a new addition, featuring at number seven with $62 million earnings, thanks to CD and download sales, her ‘Monster’s Ball’ world tour and endorsement deals, narrowly beating her idol Madonna, who took eighth place with $58 million.

Oprah Winfrey has been named the world’s most powerful celebrity.

The TV star – who fronts ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ and is the president of media company Harpo Productions – has topped the annual Most Powerful Celebrity poll conducted by Forbes magazine, knocking Angelina Jolie off the top spot with earnings of $315 million last year.

The 56-year-old star was previously named top of the coveted list in 2007 and 2008, before Angelina – who is now in 18th position – took over from her in 2009.

The 2010 figures also include a number of new stars, with Lady Gaga flying into fourth place with earnings of $62 million, behind Beyonce Knowles with $87 million in second, and film director James Cameron in third with $210 million earned last year.

The Forbes Most Powerful Celebrity list looks at wealth, TV/radio popularity, press rank, web rank and social status – with even twitter followers being taken into consideration.

The 2010 poll placed ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson on the list for the first time, in 50th position following the success of the vampire movies, and after earning $17 million last year.

His co-star and rumoured girlfriend Kristen Stewart came 66th after earning $12 million from the franchise and working on new movie ‘The Runaways’.

Despite a tumultuous year in her personal life, Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock was placed eighth in the poll after pocketing $56 million in the past 12 months. She was just behind golfer Tiger Woods, who was placed fifth, Britney Spears, sixth, and rock band U2 - consisting of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. – who were placed seventh.

Kylie – who is seen in tiny black pants in the promo for new single ‘All the Lovers’ – said: “I won’t be covering up my bum as I get older. Every time I put on a pair of hotpants I think, ‘This is the last time.’ But it’s not. It makes me laugh that my bum has become such an obsession!”

The Australian pop star also revealed she has a little help to make sure her bottom always looks its best in videos.

She confessed: “When it came to the video and I knew I was going to be in tiny hotpants again, I was like, ‘Cover my legs and bum with body make-up.’ It’s definitely the way forward and my secret to having a great bottom.”

The Australian pop star intends to keep on touring for years like her idol Madonna – who is still flashing the flesh on stage at 51 – but admits she doesn’t have the same commitment to fitness as the ‘Hung Up’ singer.

Kylie – whose new album ‘Aphrodite’ is released on July 13 – added: “I’m going to still tour when I’m Madonna’s age then I’ll probably have to start doing some serious working out to keep in shape. I certainly don’t work out like Madonna, that’s hardcore! In fact I don’t really work out at all.”

Leona Lewis won’t ever strip off for  shoots.

The ‘Happy’ singer wouldn’t be comfortable posing in a flesh-flashing outfit and could never follow in the footsteps of her idol Madonna – who is known for her raunchy stage shows and released the infamous ‘Sex’ book, in which she appeared naked.

She said: “I would never do a bikini shoot. It’s too embarrassing. No weird sex books for me either.” Despite her reluctance to de-robe for the cameras, Leona is happy with her body.

She added: “I watch what I eat and I eat really healthily most of the time, but other times, I’ll just eat what I want. But I’ve probably lost a little bit. I’m happy with my figure.”

Although she refuses to strip in public, Leona has previously confessed to finding swimming naked “liberating”. She said: “I was with some girlfriends in Portugal and we went skinny-dipping. One of my friends was going through a hard time with her boyfriend, so we thought let’s do something crazy. It was liberating.”

Victoria Beckham is glad she has had to “prove” herself.

The singer-turned-designer was delighted to see a number of famous names – including Demi Moore and Cameron Diaz – wearing her dresses at pre- and post-Oscar parties earlier this month and thinks she has finally been accepted by the fashion world.

She said: “I have had to prove myself. But that’s a good thing: everybody has to prove themselves, not just me… I want to grow as a designer, I want to learn the techniques and do more and more.

“I feel more confident in myself because I feel fulfilled, creatively and professionally. I’ve still got a long way to go, but I feel very happy. I’m in a good place in my life. And I don’t feel I have to prove myself as much as I used to have to.”

Victoria – who has been widely criticised for her slender frame – is particularly happy that her creations have been endorsed by so many stars of different physiques.

She added: “The support has been fantastic. And it’s been great that it’s been on lots of different body shapes as well. There have been tiny people wearing the dresses, such as Madonna, and then Jennifer Hudson wore one at the Golden Globes. The way the dresses have been constructed means that they are really flattering.”

Madonna’s boyfriend feels “like a married man”.

Brazilian model Jesus Luz – who has been in a relationship with the ‘4 Minutes’ singer for around 15 months – feels like he has a complete family of his own since he started dating the 51-year-old star, who has four children, Lourdes, 13, Rocco, nine, Mercy, five, and four-year-old David.

The 23-year-old hunk told Brazil’s RG Vogue magazine: “I consider myself a married man. I have a family. At my age, my father was also married. My mother gave birth to me when she was 15.”

While Jesus also admitted in the interview that he can’t help but get jealous of the attention Madonna receives, it seems he is not the only one.

It has been claimed the ‘Celebration’ singer banned her boyfriend from partying with Lindsay Lohan at the VIP Room nightspot in Paris, France recently.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Lindsay got her people to phone the club to try and hang out with him. She knew he was hosting a night there with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.

“But when Madonna’s people heard, they put a block on it. Jesus wasn’t one to argue, he didn’t want to upset Madonna and was just there to work. Lindsay had to make to with a night in her hotel.”

Madonna is allegedly dating ex-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.

The ‘Celebration’ singer – who is believed to have reunited with Brazilian model Jesus Luz this week following a recent split – is apparently still seeing her former baseball star lover, who is nicknamed ‘A-Rod’, and visited him in Miami last week.

A source said: “Madonna spent two nights with him in his beach house in Miami last week and Jesus had no idea.

“She just didn’t tell him, and her staff were told not to tell him. She claims she has an intellectual connection with ‘A-Rod’.”

But Madonna – who was rumoured to be dating Alex after she split from now ex-husband Guy Ritchie at the end of 2008 – isn’t prepared to let Jesus go because he is “in awe” of her.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “Jesus is really, really into Madonna but he’s more like a little personal project to her. They are together when she wants them to be together. She decides what he wears, she has sorted English lessons for him and she even paid for his apartment. He’s like a little sheep in awe of his mistress and she loves that.”

The 51-year-old pop superstar is also said to have developed a deep connection with Carlos Leon, the father of her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes.

The source explained: “When Madonna split from Guy Ritchie, Carlos was there for her.

“They spent a lot of time together and old emotions came back. But Carlos has a lovely girlfriend who Lourdes doesn’t like, which has made life difficult. There will always be a big connection between Madonna and Carlos.”

However, all this male attention doesn’t seem to be making the ‘Like a Virgin’ star happy.

The source added: “Despite all the guys in her life, she’s extremely lonely since her divorce. She has everything but she never seems happy.”

The ‘Celebration’ singer is working with both rap producer A-Trak and rock producer Brendan O’Brien – who has previously worked with Pearl Jam – and attempting to merge the two genres on the follow up to her hip-hop influenced 2008 LP, ‘Hard Candy’.

A-Trak, real name Alain Macklovitch, told the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s my production, turned into song structure – halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to.”

Madonna, 51, is said to be set on making a track to match the success of Run DMC’s groundbreaking 80s hit ‘Walk This Way’, which defined the rap/rock genre – and went on to spawn acts such as Korn, Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock in the 90s.

Madonna has a long history of working with hip-hop producers, including Pharrell Williams and Timbaland on ‘Hard Candy’, but she is also keen to play up a more guitar-heavy sound after spending time mastering the instrument and insiders say she’s working on perfecting a balance between the two.

The resulting album could be released this year.

The Hollywood star – who married actress Annette Bening in March 1992 – reportedly averaged a different partner every day for the three-and-a-half decades he was single.

According to Peter Biskind, who has written a revealing biography on the legendary lothario entitled ‘Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America’, Warren lost his virginity at 20 and seduced thousands of ladies.

The author made his estimate based on “simple arithmetic”.

Biskind said: “There were 12,775 women, give or take – a figure that does not include daytime quickies, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on.”

It is also claimed the 72-year-old actor – who has been romantically linked to Natalie Wood, Diane Keaton and Madonna, among many others – proved too much for Joan Collins.

He wrote: “He made love to Joan Collins relentlessly. But for Collins it was too much of a good thing. One Sunday morning, exhausted, she stumbled out of bed.
