Kendra Wilkinson has become the latest celebrity to be voted off ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

The former Playboy model and her professional partner Louis van Amstel impressed the judges with their tango on Monday night (02.05.11) but failed to win over the viewers so were eliminated from the show last night (03.05.11).

A tearful Kendra said of her time on the show: “I’ve lasted seven weeks – seven weeks longer than I ever thought I would last.”

The 25-year-old beauty said she was looking forward to spending more time with her NFL star husband Hank Baskett and their 17-month-old son, Hank Jr.

She told viewers: “I’m not the best dancer but I am the best mum. I’m back to being a mum.”

While it was Kendra who got kicked off, fellow contestant Kirstie Alley – who scored 30 points from the judges, just one mark less than her now-departed rival – was convinced it was going to be her.

The former ‘Cheers’ star said: “I was really afraid. And I was so afraid that it put me in a different mindset. Next week, I am going to be the best dancer.”

As well as Kirstie, the remaining contestants are Chelsea Kane, Ralph Macchio and Romeo.

The former Playboy model will be taught her moves by the ballroom dance champion – who has previously partnered Kelly Osbourne, Margaret Cho and Priscilla Presley – while her fellow contestant Kirstie Alley will be partnered by Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Speaking about Maksim – who achieved the runner-up position in 2007 with Mel B – 60-year-old Kirstie joked: “My partner is calling me ‘G’ for grandma. He says I’m too slow. I call him ‘M’ for mean.”

Supermodel Petra Nemcova will be partnered by Dmitry Chaplin, Ralph Macchio has been given Karina Smirnoff while Chris Jericho will team up with Cheryl Burke.

Former Disney actress Chelsea Kane will be partnered by Mark Ballas, Wendy Williams is with Tony Dovolani, Romeo has been given Chelsie Hightower, Mike Catherwood gets Lacey Schwimmer, Sugar Ray Leonard is partnered by Anna Trebunskaya and Hines Ward will team up with Kym Johnson.

The show will begin on March 21, giving the celebrities just three weeks to perfect their first routines.

The star has suffered with bunions – a deformity of the bone and joint which affects the big toe and can be extremely painful – for several years, but she now has to undergo an operation to fix the problem after aggravating the condition while competing on US TV talent show ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

She revealed: “I have flat feet and somewhere in the 25 years of my life, I tore the cartilage in my bunions in both feet.

“They asked me to have surgery. I said no, I didn’t want to have it because I believe if you start cutting things, you have a whole new set of problems and it wasn’t that bad. Basically, my doctor said, ‘Told you so, told you so. You wouldn’t be feeling this if you’d had the surgery.’ So I’m going to have to have it after the show.”

Until she has the surgery, Kelly – who is partnering professional dancer Louis van Amstel on the programme – is relying on painkilling injections from her doctor to compete.

She revealed on her Twitter page: “The injection I got in my foot has now completely worn off. I’m in so much pain I feel like I want to be sick!”
