Lindsay to Dad — Why The Hell Are You Doing ‘Rehab?’

Lindsay Lohan was “shocked and upset” to hear that her father signed up for “Celebrity Rehab” … telling friends she’s worried he’ll embarrass the family.

We’re told Lohan is saying she’s most upset that her dad, Michael Lohan, began taping the show without ever giving her a heads up.

Lohan is also adamant she will NEVER make an appearance on the show.

Lindsay also wants to know how much Michael is getting paid for the gig — because she wants to make sure her dad kicks over some of the cash to Dina … since “he should be paying his child support for Ali and Cody.”

FYI — “Celebrity Rehab” had been gunning for Lindsay to star on the show in the past … but it never came to be.

Lindsay Checks in With Probation — Like Clockwork!

Lindsay Lohan just left the Santa Monica Courthouse, to meet with her probation officer … and she showed up on time and looking fine.

Part of Lindsay’s deal is to meet with the woman who is supervising her probation for DUI, in addition to taking random drug tests.

Sources say Lindsay has complied fully with her probation requirements since leaving the Betty Ford Center.

So far, so good.

Alleged Lindsay Victim to Cops: How Dare You!

The lawyer for the former Betty Ford worker who was allegedly attacked by Lindsay Lohan has fired off a letter of outrage to the Riverside County District Attorney, after authorities secretly went to the worker’s home this morning to grill her over the incident.

Members of the D.A.’s office went to Dawn Holland’s home this AM to get a statement from her about the incident, even though her lawyer, Keith Davidson has repeatedly told authorities she wanted no part of it.

In the letter, Davidson says he wrote cops a letter last month and had a follow up conversation stating that Holland “does not desire prosecution of Ms. Lohan and that any communication with Ms. Holland is to go through my office.”

Davidson is indignant authorities went to Holland’s home without even giving him the heads up, calling it “a blatant attempt to stomp on the 6th Amendment [right to counsel].”

Palm Desert PD Gunning for Lindsay From the Get-Go

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the Palm Desert Police Department was rabidly trying to get Lindsay Lohan arrested just days after her altercation with a Betty Ford Center staffer.

Sources say a police lieutenant contacted L.A. County Deputy Probation Officer Barbara Parker shortly after Lindsay’s December 12 run-in with Dawn Holland, asking her to come to Betty Ford and arrest Lindsay for violating her probation. When Parker told the lieutenant it would be premature to take such drastic action, we’re told the lieutenant began arguing with her and it got “extremely heated.”

We’ve learned after the call, the lieutenant’s boss called Parker to apologize.

As TMZ reported earlier today, the police are now saying Lindsay violated her probation by committing a battery. What’s interesting is that it’s for the L.A. County Probation Department and ultimately a Beverly Hills judge — not the police in Riverside County — to conclude if Lindsay violated probation.

Sources tell TMZ … the L.A. County Probation Department will take no action against Lindsay unless she’s convicted of battery in Riverside County.

Michael Lohan — This One’s for You, Lindsay!

Sometimes a heartfelt phone call or letter just won’t do — sometimes you need to hire an R&B singer to write a dance song for your estranged daughter while she’s in rehab. That’s how things work in the Lohan family.

Michael Lohan tells TMZ he has commissioned Delious Kennedy, one of the members of the Grammy winning group All-4-One, to write and perform a track dedicated to Lindsay.

Michael says the song — a companion piece of sorts to Lindsay’s 2005 track “Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)” — is about a “talented and beautiful young lady who has grown in our hearts, she is badgered by paparazzi, cut down by the media … She will wilt, but when she falls, I will always be there to pick her up and put her pedals back on.”

Kennedy tells TMZ the song — entitled “My Rose” — is a club track with a dance vibe like Usher or Lady Gaga. Kennedy says he recorded the song last week, played it for MiLo last night and he “loved it.”

Kennedy gave us a sneak peak at the chorus, which goes something like this: “The girl is like a rose garden. She falls back, springs forth and grows stronger with thorns.”

Make some room on the mantle boys … we sense a Grammy in your future.

Lindsay — Work Can Be Hazardous to Her Health

Lindsay Lohan’s management team is already lining up projects for the actress as soon as she steps out of rehab in 2011 … but LiLo’s closest friends are concerned that rushing her back into the spotlight could be a dangerous move.

Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ, Lohan’s team has been devouring movie scripts, furiously setting up meetings, and organizing fashion projects, all in anticipation of LiLo’s release from rehab — January 3, 2011.

But one friend tells us the people who still care about LiLo’s well-being feel that she “shouldn’t be working the first week. She shouldn’t be working the first couple months. She needs to be attending daily meetings to stay on track for sobriety.” Another adds, “Lindsay needs to focus on herself for some time.”

As we previously reported, LiLo has recently expressed concern about her career and her crumbling fashion line. But according to her probation officer, Lindsay also acknowledged that her “lifestyle” is filled with temptation.

Fortunately, Lindsay will have a couple of months to think about her next move.

Lindsay — Probation Dept. Unswayed By Rehab Stint

Lindsay Lohan’s voluntary stay at the Betty Ford Center isn’t impressing everybody — TMZ has learned the L.A. County Probation Dept. still wants LiLo to serve at least 30 days behind bars for her failed drug test.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the Probation Dept does not want Judge Elden Fox to cut LiLo a break during her probation violation hearing today … and will recommend that she serve at least 30 days in jail for testing positive for cocaine after she left her court-ordered rehab stint at UCLA.

The Probation Dept. carries some pretty powerful influence — but in the end, the decision will be up to Judge Fox.

The hearing is set to begin today at 8:30 AM PST — and we’ll be streaming the whole thing live.

Dina to Mama Kardashian: What’s Your Secret?

Dina Lohan is looking for some good ol’ fashioned parenting tips from someone who knows what it’s like to raise a pack of famous kidlets … so she’s turning to the expert — Kris Jenner.

Sources tell TMZ Dina is hoping to set up a meeting of the matriarchs while she’s in town visiting Lindsay in Betty Ford. We’re told Dina plans on being in L.A. for about a week and would love to pick Kris’ brain about how the Kardashian girls managed to do so well in the media spotlight … while Lindsay has not.

Our sources say Lindsay and Kim had become close before Lindsay went to jail — the two of them even met up while Lindsay was in NY visiting family back in September.

The relationship could be exactly what Dina needs … to score a hit reality show.

Lindsay’s Mom $hopping Post-Rehab Interview

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan’s sainted mother Dina is shopping around an interview for after she visits Lindsay in rehab this weekend … and the asking price is in the five figures.

We’re told Dina is trying to set up a deal that would include allowing cameras to film her as she went to the Betty Ford Center this weekend. Some reports have suggested that Dina is pitching a reality show based on the ordeal, but we’re told that’s not true.

Our sources say Dina is asking “in the high five figures” for the interview. We’re told none of the proceeds will go to charity.

Sources close to Dina tell TMZ, “There is absolutely no truth to this.”

Michael Lohan — I’ll Become a Drunk For Lindsay

Michael Lohan is telling people he’s going to intentionally fall off the wagon and check himself into the Betty Ford Clinic to be near Lindsay Lohan — and stage his own arrest if necessary to get his daughter’s attention.

We’re told Michael is going to show up at Betty Ford and demand admission. He will stage his own arrest — to show everyone how much he cares about his daughter.

Michael is saying he’ll make one more trip to Betty Ford to attempt to see Lindsay. If she won’t let him in, he’s going to get all drunk and then go back and make a scene.

Dina Warned About Lindsay a Long Time Ago

Dina Lohan was warned by law enforcement seven years ago that her daughter Lindsay was out of control in Hollywood, yet mama Lohan did absolutely nothing about it.

Rewind to 2003, when Lindsay was 17. Law enforcement in L.A. became aware that Lindsay had a stalker. The threat was so real … an investigator was assigned to follow Lindsay around town to protect her and possibly bust the stalker.

But our sources say the investigator became alarmed when he saw Lindsay clubbing all over town, which made the investigator fear she was drinking and driving. Law enforcement then contacted Dina to give her the heads-up.

Dina wasn’t answering her phone, so voicemail messages were left warning her of Lindsay’s Hollywood antics. Dina never called back … not even once.

A source close to Dina tells TMZ, “If law enforcement was so worried about Lindsay’s safety, why didn’t they send someone to Dina’s home to inform her?”

Lindsay: Don’t Even Think About a Conservatorship

Lindsay Lohan has made it clear … she will personally go to court and fight like hell if anyone tries to put her under a conservatorship ... sources with first-hand knowledge tell TMZ.

Lindsay is saying no matter where she is — and she’s at Betty Ford right now — she will come to court and go after anyone who tries to create a conservatorship.

But there’s one proviso. Lindsay could end up in rehab for a long time. There could be problems handling Lindsay’s business affairs while Lindsay is otherwise engaged, so there’s a real possibility a trust will be created — at least temporarily — to handle financial matters.

Lindsay’s Failed Tests Could Derail Upcoming Film

Sources close to the production of Lindsay Lohan’s next project tell TMZ her latest slip-up could throw the movie into serious financial turmoil.

Lindsay is set to star in “Inferno,” a biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace. As we previously reported, one of the things Judge Elden Fox can do in light of her recent failed drug tests is restrict Lindsay’s travel — and “Inferno” is set to shoot in Louisiana.

A source close to the film tells us shooting the picture in Los Angeles instead of Louisiana “would radically change the budget” and force producers to try and secure additional financing.

We’re told the producers might be less inclined to make certain sacrifices for LiLo — the film’s top people are “beyond irritated by the recent developments” and “there is a concern of her commitment to the work.”

Looks like a lot of people have a lot riding on whatever Judge Fox decides.

Medical Board Investigates Lindsay Lohan’s Doctors

TMZ has learned … the Medical Board of California is investigating doctors who prescribed a variety of medications to Lindsay Lohan.

TMZ obtained these photos of investigators for the Medical Board at the law offices of Michael Lohan’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom. The photos, which were taken Sept. 2, show Michael, Bloom and investigators.

Bloom sent a letter to the California Attorney General back in July, asking for an investigation into “the unscrupulous doctors [who] overprescribe medications …”

We’re told the A.G. referred the matter to the Medical Board, which launched an investigation.

As TMZ first reported, prior to entering UCLA, Lindsay had various prescriptions, including Dilaudid, Adderall, Nexium, Zoloft, Trazodone and Ambien.

As we’ve told you … UCLA determined Lindsay had been misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and prescribed meds she should not have taken.

Bloom confirms with TMZ, “The Medical Board is investigating and Michael and I are cooperating with them.”

Judge to Snooki: You’re a Lindsay Wannabe

“Jersey Shore’s” Snooki just got schooled by a New Jersey judge, who called her a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe” … after she pled guilty to a crime after a drunken escapade on a Seaside Heights beach.

As we first reported, Snooki was arrested in Seaside Heights, NJ on July 30 … after she was spotted using a beer bong and falling off a bicycle.

Judge Damian Murray scoffed at Snooki in court, saying he didn’t know if her antics were scripted, adding, if it was scripted Snooki needed to decide “if it was worth trading your dignity for a paycheck.”

But that wasn’t the end … The judge called Snooki’s actions “rude and self-indulgent.”

Snooki pled guilty to disturbing the quiet enjoyment of the beach but the disorderly conduct charge and another count were dismissed.

Snooki could have been thrown in the slammer for 90 days, but the judge let her skate with 2 days community service and a $533 fine.

Snooki addressed the court and said she was “very embarrassed” and says she was never in this kind of situation before.

Michael Lohan Blows Into L.A. For Lindsay

Michael Lohan has moved to Los Angeles so he and Lindsay Lohan can be one happy dysfunctional family again … so Michael tells TMZ.

Michael says he moved from New York to L.A. yesterday … largely to be near Lindsay.  He says he wants to be close to Lindsay while she goes through outpatient rehab and therapy.

Michael concedes Lindsay would rather get mauled by a bulldog than be around him … but says as she becomes “clean and sober” that could change.

And, Michael blames the wedge between him and Lindsay on Dina, saying, “If wedges hadn’t been put between us and people didn’t use children as pawns, a lot of the problems suffered by children wouldn’t happen.”

Michael tells us he’s working with a realtor to find an L.A. pad of his own.

Judge Revel Removes Herself From Lindsay’s Case

TMZ has learned … Judge Marsha Revel has removed herself from the Lindsay Lohan case after allegations the judge improperly contacted people involved in the case.

Sources tell us … lawyers in the case met with Judge Revel last Friday at 3:30 PM.  Lawyers complained that Judge Revel had contacted “participants and experts” in the case without notifying the lawyers in advance.

We’re told one of the issues — Judge Revel took it upon herself to make contact with people from the Morningside Recovery rehab facility and then selected Morningside, even though it was not on the list of recommended facilities by her own court-appointed experts.  Ultimately, Lindsay’s lawyer convinced Judge Revel to send LiLo to UCLA. But the issue was raised on Friday.

Judge Elden Fox – who also presides in Bev Hills — is the new judge on the case.

Lindsay — Stripped Down in Secret Fashion Shoot

We’re sure there’s a reason Lindsay Lohan threw on a ninja mask and flashed some underboob for a secret shoot for Marc Ecko, but it doesn’t really matter … we got the pics, so check ‘em out already!

OK, now to the facts — It was all part of Marc Ecko’s secret “Muse” campaign – a secret he’s had to keep under wraps for several months … hence the mask.

TMZ has learned Lindsay posed for the shoot back in May — right around the time she was getting into trouble with Judge Marsha Revel.

We’re told Marc chose Lindsay because he wanted someone, “whom fascinated us — for better or worse.”

Lindsay — Rehab Change After TMZ Report

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan will not serve her mandatory 90 day rehab stint at the Morningside Recovery facility — and it’s all because of a story TMZ broke about Judge Marsha Revel.

Late today it was announced that Judge Revel pulled the plug on Lindsay going to rehab at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, CA.

Sources tell us Judge Revel made her decision immediately after TMZ broke the story that two court appointed psychiatrists had recommended four other facilities other than Morningside before Revel made her initial decision.

Shawn Chapman Holley Back With Lindsay

TMZ has learned … Shawn Chapman Holley is going to be by Lindsay Lohan’s side in court this morning, representing her after Robert Shapiro bailed on LiLo.

TMZ broke the story … Holley quit earlier this month, because Lindsay was an uncontrollable client.

But now Lindsay is in a pinch, and Holley is stepping up.

Sources tell us Lindsay is furious at Shapiro, feeling as if he totally used her to get publicity for his sober living house.  She believes that is the only reason he agreed to rep her and sold her a bill of goods.

We’ve learned Holley is supposed to be in court in the Juan-Carlos Cruz attempted murder case at the same time Lindsay’s case is heard.  We’re told Holley is going to have the Cruz case delayed so she can be with Lindsay.

Lindsay Lohan: I’m NOT Going to Jail!

Sources tell TMZ … Lindsay Lohan vows to appeal Judge Marsha Revel’s 90-day jail sentence.

One source who was with Lindsay last night says LiLo proclaimed, “I’m not going to jail!” Lindsay was talking with people in her apartment about appealing the case.

As for how Lindsay could appeal … the only real basis is arguing that Judge Revel abused her discretion in nailing LiLo with a 90-day sentence.  The chances of winning such an appeal are extremely remote under the best of circumstances, and given Lindsay’s performance on probation … snowballs and hell come to mind.

Lindsay’s vow to appeal could explain why Shawn Chapman Holley just threw in the towel and resigned.

We’re told Lohan’s new attorney, Tiffany Feder-Cohen, has already been in touch with the Sheriff’s Department.

Lindsay Lohan’s Lawyer: I Quit!

TMZ has learned … Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has resigned as LiLo’s lawyer.

TMZ called Holley for comment on a story we’re working on, and she informed us she is no longer repping Lindsay.  Sources tell us Holley resigned earlier today.

As for who Lindsay will be hiring … we’re told she’s a brand new lawyer, Tiffany Feder-Cohen, who was just admitted to the bar in November.

Lindsay Lohan — Amphetamines, Opiates, A-OK

Lindsay Lohan tested positive for amphetamines and opiates during her random drug tests, this according to the probation officer’s report obtained by TMZ.

But according to the report, Lindsay was allowed to take the drugs that created the positive results — namely, Dilaudid (opiate) and Adderall (amphetamine).

According to the report, “The defendant indicates she has been on the same prescription medication for as long as she can remember.”

Lohan’s Lawyer — Sentence Just Ain’t Fair!

Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, the effervescent Shawn Chapman Holley, was back in court today for a non-LiLo-related incident … but it’s clear, she’s still ticked about Lindsay’s sentence.

Holley tells us, “All we want is for Lindsay to be treated like everyone else and that hasn’t happened so far.”

As we previously reported, Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail plus 90 days at an inpatient rehab program.
