Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins’ relationship has been confirmed

The ‘Abduction’ co-stars – who have been romantically linked since they began filming the movie earlier this year – are the epitome of “teenage love” and according to their fellow cast member Denzel Whitaker, their natural chemistry will come across on-screen.

Denzel told E! News: “It’s kind of like that teenage love in high school. It was kind of like, ‘Let’s go on a date’.

“They were willing to go bowling. It wasn’t all about the relationship, it was more about having fun with each other and I think any time that’s the premise of your couple, it’s going to go great.

“I think the chemistry is naturally going to show in the movie. It was off set so it definitely came on set.”

Taylor – who has previously dated Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez – recently admitted he loved how “funny and goofy” Lily, the daughter of singer Phil Collins, was on set.

He said: “The amazing thing about Lily is that she was super-open and funny and goofy to begin with. And she definitely did not change at all from the first time I met her. That’s probably the most impressive thing about her – that she’s not afraid to be herself.”

The 19-year-old actor – who has been romantically linked to the 22-year-old actress, the daughter of musician Phil Collins – gets on really well with Lily and really enjoyed her openness and honesty on set.

He said: “The amazing thing about Lily is that she was super-open and funny and goofy to begin with. And she definitely did not change at all from the first time I met her. That’s probably the most impressive thing about her – that she’s not afraid to be herself.”

The ‘Twilight’ hunk – who has previously dated singer Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber’s current girlfriend Selena Gomez – also admits it is a “good thing” his female friends do not ask him for advice about men because his guidance would be “confusing”. He told Seventeen magazine: “I would totally be there for a girlfriend, to give her a guy’s perspective [on relationships], which I’m sure would be completely different from a girl’s perspective.

“So it would probably end up confusing for her anyway. Maybe it’s a good thing that my girl friends haven’t asked me for too much advice.”

Taylor Lautner’s new romance is continuing to grow

The 18-year-old hunk has been quietly dating 21-year-old actress Lily Collins – whose father is ‘In The Air Tonight’ singer Phil Collins – for several months and though it is still early days between the two, pals expect their relationship to progress when they begin promoting their new movie ‘Abduction’ together.

A source told gossip website PopEater: “They appear to be seeing each other, but it’s too early to see what will happen because they are both young. They make a cute couple. Once ‘Abduction’ is released this fall, they will be spending even more time together promoting it.”

Though they have not yet confirmed their relationship, Taylor reportedly met Lily’s hard-to-please father late last year and was delighted to get the seal of approval.

A source said in November: “Phil is pretty tough on the guys Lily introduces him to. But they got along well.”

The pair were first romantically linked in July, when it was reported Taylor had seduced his co-star on the set of ‘Abduction’ by “constantly flashing his shirtless six pack,” despite her having a boyfriend.
