LeBron’s Mother’s Valet — I’m Ready for My Comeback!!

The valet who was slapped in the face by LeBron James’ mother has fired off a letter to his employers saying he’s ready to return to work next week … but there’s one MAJOR catch.

Sources connected to Rockfeller Sorel tell TMZ … the valet has been recovering from the injuries he claims he suffered at the hand of Gloria James earlier this month — but his doctor has cleared him to return to his job on April 22.

As for the catch — we’re told Sorel desperately wants the valet company to relocate him AWAY from the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach because he feels he’ll attract unwanted attention, since that’s where the original incident went down.

So far, no word on whether the valet parking company will grant Sorel’s request.

As we previously reported, Sorel has already filed a lawsuit against James — demanding more than $15k for the pain, emotional distress, humiliation and mental anguish she’s caused him.

A-Rod Mourns Playoff Loss with LeBron

The day after the New York Yankees were eliminated from the playoffs, Alex Rodriguez partied at a Miami nightclub with someone who is no stranger to playoff failure … LeBron James.

The two kicked it at the grand opening of the Arkadia at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Saturday night to attend Drake’s 24th birthday party.

Spies inside the club tell us both A-Rod and LeBron partied until 1:00 AM — and were each seen drinking Grey Goose La Poire vodka.

Since they’re each worth roughly a bazillion dollars — who do you think pays for drinks?

LeBron James Scoffs at Paternity Lawsuit

LeBron James wants a court to be as dismissive as he is over a lawsuit filed by a man who claims to be his father.

TMZ broke the story … Leicester Bryce Stovell filed a $4 million lawsuit against LeBron and Gloria James, the NBA star’s mom, claiming fraud and defamation.

Now attorneys for LeBron and Gloria have asked a judge to dismiss the suit, labeling it “rank speculation.”  According to the new legal docs obtained by TMZ, LeBron’s lawyers scoffed at “… a man who claims that as a twenty-nine year old lawyer he got a 15-year old girl pregnant during a one-night stand and who never contributed a penny in child support would earn millions in commercial endorsements by crawling out of the wood-work after the child he never gave a thought to became an NBA star.”

The new docs also note the results of a DNA test which show “0% probability of paternity.”

Derek Fisher Meets with Miami Heat Honchos

Derek Fisher is currently meeting with Miami Heat team president Pat Riley and owner Micky Arison to discuss the possibility of signing with the Heat … TMZ has learned.

We’re told Fish is meeting with Riley and Arison at the Mandarian Oriental Hotel in Miami. The meeting began around 12:30 PM ET.

Riley has already made the biggest splash in NBA free agency, signing LeBron James and Chris Bosh while re-signing Dwyane Wade. Signing Fisher — a five-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers — would be a huge step towards filling out the rest of the roster.

LeBron James Leaving Miami for New York

LeBron James won’t be spending tonight drowning in Miami mimosas (that’s one part Cristal, one part ultimate betrayal) … because according to his publicist, King James is heading to New York for a more important celebration.

LeBron’s publicist tells TMZ the Miami Heat’s newest megastar has a wedding to attend in New York this weekend — between fellow NBA star Carmelo Anthony and former MTV VJ La La Vazquez – and has plans to fly out later today.

As for why LeBron made the quick trip to Miami this morning — his publicist tells us he was only in town for “business reasons” … and has no plans to hit the town tonight.

There will be plenty of time for that if they let him out of NY.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are so pissed off at LeBron James — that they won’t even let their fans buy his old jersey … and have officially pulled the items from all team stores  … including their online shop.

So what will happen to all the old #23 gear?? Sources inside the Cavaliers organization tell us they’ll probably end up at a discount retail store … “somewhere like T.J. Maxx.”

LeBron Daddy Drama — New Family Twist

The man claiming to be LeBron James’ biological father is getting some serious flack over his story — and it’s coming from his own brother.

TMZ spoke with Leicester Bryce Stovell’s younger brother — “Junior” Stovell — who tells us, “something’s a little fishy” about Leicester’s allegations.

As we first reported, Leicester filed a lawsuit against LeBron and his mother Gloria James, claiming they tampered with evidence that could prove he’s the daddy.

“Junior” tells us his family has been “joking” about the situation ever since Leicester suggested he was the dad a few years ago — but notes that Leicester “believes in his own mind” that it’s legit.

As for why “Junior” thinks the story is fishy … he tells us, “Leicester never mentioned anything about LeBron being his son until LeBron became the king.”

LeBron’s camp has strongly rejected Leicester’s claim — calling him a “money grubber.”

LeBron Sued by Man Claiming to be His Father

TMZ has learned … LeBron James and his mother Gloria James are being sued for millions by a man who claims he tried to prove he’s the NBA star’s biological father – but LeBron and his mom tampered with the evidence in a diabolical cover-up.

The lawsuit is explosive — in it, 55-year-old Leicester Bryce Stovell claims he met Gloria in a D.C. area bar in 1984 … and had unprotected sex with her on the night they met. He later found out she was 15-years-old at the time … he was 29.

According to the docs — filed recently in federal court — Gloria has spent the rest of her life shielding LeBron from the truth.

But the man making the claim isn’t some schmuck – dude is a Princeton graduate … who earned a law degree from the University of Chicago … and then became a Senior Legal Advisor for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

In his suit, Stovell claims he has a very clear recollection of the night he had “consensual sexual relations” with Gloria — in fact, he even remembers apologizing for his sub-par performance.

Leicester claims Gloria went back to her hometown in Ohio after they hooked up — but returned several months later to inform him she was pregnant with a boy named LeBron … but she never specifically identified the father.

Leicester — a self-proclaimed high school star athlete — says he remembers telling Gloria, “Well, if he’s mine, make sure he plays basketball.” He claims that was the last time he saw Gloria for more than 20 years.

According to the docs, Leicester claims he reconnected with Gloria over the phone in 2007 — when he began to think he could be LeBron’s father … partly because they look almost identical.

Leicester claims during the 2007 phone call – Gloria denied ever meeting him — threatened to have him physically harmed – and told him, “LeBron’s money is for his children.”

A few days after the phone call, Leicester claims LeBron — through his lawyer — agreed to take a DNA paternity test.

Leicester claims he was given results that showed he was not LeBron’s dad … but several months later, he began to suspect that the results were tampered with … and Gloria and LeBron were behind the fraud.

So why would LeBron participate in such a cover-up? Leicester claims it’s all, “due to anger at perceived abandonment and conflict arising from his image as a successful fatherless child from the projects.”

He also claims that Gloria had “fabricated” a story about LeBron’s real father for the “one dimensional commercial image-making purpose … to make [LeBron's] life suggestive of Spike Lee’s popular 1998 sports drama film, ‘He Got Game.’”

Leicester is now seeking $4 million from both LeBron and his mother — claiming fraud, defamation and misrepresentation.

And check this out — Leicester also points out that LeBron named his 2nd son “Bryce” — and claims it’s no coincidence.  As we said, Leicester’s middle name is Bryce.

LeBron’s reps could not be reached for comment.

Team LeBron: Alleged Dad is a ‘Money Grubber’

LeBron James‘ lawyer is lashing out at the man claiming to be his biological father — claiming Leicester Bryce Stovell is just in it for the money.

As we first reported, Stovell is suing LeBron and his mother, claiming the two of them tampered with a DNA test in an attempt to hide the true identity of LeBron’s father.

Now, LeBron’s attorney Fred Nance is slamming Stovell’s claim — saying, “The timing is obviously designed to gratuitously exploit LeBron’s announcement tomorrow.”

Nance added, “A celebrity of LeBron’s stature gets many money grubbing claims all the time and this is no different.”

But Leicester is firing back — telling TMZ, “This not a money grubbing case. This is a very carefully considered effort to resolve a pressing issue that should be handled seriously by LeBron James’ attorney.”

Leicester concluded, “There is absolutely no relationship between what is happening in LeBron’s life and the timing of the filing of this lawsuit … the timing of the filing of this lawsuit is a product purely of legal considerations.”

Justin Bieber has been nominated for a Black Entertainment Television (BET) award.

The 16-year-old singer’s speedy rise to super-stardom, aided by R&B star Usher, has earned him a nod in the Best New Artist category at the upcoming ceremony, because he’s thought of as a “crossover” artist.

Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials, said: “Bieber has crossed the colour boundaries the same way that hip-hop has crossed the boundaries the other way for a number of years. He’s had rhythm in his music. He makes the type of music our audience likes.”

The awards – which generally only recognise black entertainers, singers, actors and athletes – will see Justin battle it out against fellow rising stars Nicki Minaj, B.o.B, Young Money and Melanie Fiona.

Rapper Jay-Z has the most nominations with five and will compete with wife Beyonce Knowles for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and the Viewers’ Choice accolade.

Other nominees include Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Kanye West.

Queen Latifah is set to present the ceremony which will air live on June 27 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

LeBron James’ attorney has fired off a cease and desist email — finally denying the fast-spreading, and disturbing rumor of a sex scandal involving LeBron’s mom and his teammate Delonte West.

TMZ obtained a copy of the email sent to terezowens.com — the sports blog that first reported on Friday that LeBron’s mother Gloria was allegedly sleeping with Delonte.  In the email, Frederick Nance — attorney for LeBron and Gloria — says the report is “categorically false and per se defamatory.” Nance adds, “No thinking person could possibly believe such rubbish.”

The report — which also spread as a viral email — was supposed to explain the Cleveland Cavaliers’ playoff loss to the Boston Celtics with this theory: LeBron finds out about Delonte and his mom before game 4 … Cavs go on to lose games 4, 5, and 6.
