Kesha uses her naked body to create art

The ‘Tik Tok’ singer has recently taken up painting in order to relax while on tour and she has now taken a new approach by using herself in her work.

She said: “I have recently taken up painting as a way of killing time on tour.

“I got a big canvas, threw some paints down and then stripped off and rolled around on it.

“It’s very liberating. And very, very messy.”

The 24-year-old singer also revealed she recently had a bizarre dream about “making out” with Lady Gaga.

She recalled to Q magazine: “Last week I dreamt I was a pre-school kid making out with Lady Gaga. That woke me up.

“I have pretty wild dreams as it is, but this was so vivid. Will I tell her about it in real life? No way. I haven’t really met her properly but that’s not really the way to break the ice.”

Miley Cyrus was embarrassed about kissing actor Kevin Zegers in a new music video

The singer-and-actress found it awkward to shoot the smooching scenes with the hunk for the promo for Rock Mafia’s single ‘The Big Bang’ because the ‘Dawn of the Dead’ actor is dating someone she works with.

She told E! News: “There’s a pretty cool kissing scene in ‘The Big Bang’ which is pretty funny because Kevin is actually the boyfriend of someone that works very closely with me. So there was definitely a little awkwardness since she was on set, or whatever.”

However, Miley admitted it wasn’t all bad as she felt more comfortable filming the intimate scenes with someone she knows rather than a stranger.

She said: “I think it’s kind of cool that it’s someone that I know and that I really like.”

Apart from her embarrassment at having to kiss her friend’s boyfriend, Miley – who will turn 18 next Tuesday (23.11.10) – also spoke of her excitement at celebrating her birthday at the American Music Awards (AMAs) on Sunday (21.11.10).

The ‘Climb’ hitmaker will be joined at the event by Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Kesha and Christina Aguilera, and she is happy that many of her friends will all be in the same place for the big day.

Miley said: “For my birthday this year, I’m just gonna have everyone that I really love be able to hang out. I don’t always get to see everyone so it’s kind of cool that the AMAs are happening, so everyone will actually be in town for my birthday, which will be pretty cool.”

Kesha wants to be a “walking celebration of f**k off irreverence”.

The ‘Blah Blah Blah’ singer doesn’t do anything to deliberately create an image and believes her true personality is reflected in her songs and videos.
She said: “OK, you think it’s all an image – well that’s so not true. I would hope to come off as a walking celebration of f**k off irreverence and youth and fun.”
The 22-year-old star also claimed she is like a “pimp dance commander” who loves instigating fun evenings with her friends.
She added: “I get drunk and I like to dance to vinyl records in my room with my friends. I guess I’m not a party girl in the ‘vagina hanging out of my skirt’ kind of way.
“I like getting drunk and partying but not in a gross way, I’m more like a pimp. More like a dance commander. Especially in America, ‘party girl’ is not a good image.”
