Katherine & Joe Jackson Do ‘Oprah’
Katherine and Joe Jackson sat down with Oprah Winfrey this weekend to tape a segment for O’s show … and TMZ has the first photos.
As we first reported, production trucks for Oprah’s show were parked outside the Jackson compound in Encino for the better part of Saturday. In the photos, Oprah can be seen meeting with several family members and getting the tour of the house.
We’re told the interview focused heavily on Michael Jackson (duh) — talking about his life, his kids and the book Katherine put together about his life.
No word yet on when the episode will air.

New Claim: Michael Jackson Supported His Dad
Michael Jackson secretly supported daddy Joe Jackson … according to new legal docs.
In legal docs filed in Joe’s wrongful death case against Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael’s former alleged manager, Leonard Rowe, wrote a sworn statement in which he claims Katherine acted as Michael’s agent, funneling money to Joe for support.
And Joe’s lawyer, Brian Oxman, wrote his own declaration in which he claims he prepared financial docs for Michael during his 2004 custody battle with Debbie Rowe. In those declarations, Oxman claims Michael disclosed he was giving Katherine $50,000 a month in the early 2000s and later it went up to $66,000. Oxman says Katherine used part of the money to pay for Joe’s living expenses.
The legal docs are being used in the wrongful death case to prove Joe has standing to sue — in other words, he must show Michael had been supporting Joe during his lifetime.
Michael’s camp had no comment.

Katherine: MJ Feared People ‘Wanted Him Dead’
Katherine Jackson says her son, Michael Jackson, told her “several times” that he felt like people “wanted him dead” … and she believes his paranoia was a product of the molestation allegations.
In an interview for Michael Jackson Secret Vault, Katherine said, “One of the reasons I think that [Michael] knew people didn’t want him around any longer” was due to the “vicious rumors about him molesting children.”
Katherine goes on to say that “mean, evil, vicious people didn’t want him around for some reason” … then adamantly states she believes those people were “greedy.”

Katherine Jackson May Have Screwed Herself
Katherine Jackson’s quest for money may have just cost her dearly … because TMZ has obtained legal papers from a South Korean newspaper that is going after everything she makes … until she pays off a $13 million debt.
Segye Times, a South Korean newspaper, filed papers with the Michael Jackson estate, informing the court it got a judgment against Katherine in 1994 for $4 million. That’s when the newspaper advanced Katherine, Joe and Jermaine $5.5 million for a series of Jackson family concerts that never took place.
Segye claims with interest the judgment now exceeds $13 million, and it wants an order from the judge forcing the estate to pay Segye any money the estate might pay Katherine.
Now here’s how Katherine screwed herself. By making all the deals she’s been making — for books, gala events and such — she’s made it clear to the world her goal is to roll in dough and Segye has taken notice.

Paris Jackson The Daughter Of Michael Jackson, Has Decorated Her Bedroom With His Posters
by Kavy on Nov.17, 2009, under Artist, Music, Singer, Sisters

The pop icon’s sister La Toya has revealed 11-year-old Paris – who has two brothers, Prince Michael I, 12, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, known as ‘Blanket’ – decided to put the photos up because she wants to be reminded of her dad everyday.
She said: “They’re all doing fine – they’re coping with it quite well. Paris’ bedroom is covered with posters of her father, Prince doesn’t want to speak about it and ‘Blanket’ is just very sad – he cries. In the beginning, it was hard for them, but they understand he’s no longer with us.”
La Toya, 53, says Michael’s kids are still in therapy as they try and come to terms with the loss of their father – who died from acute Propofol intoxication on June 25.
She added to Britain’s New! magazine: “They’re working with a psychiatrist. You have to have someone to ask how you’re feeling and go through the hurt with.”
Despite their tragic loss, La Toya insists her elderly parents Katherine, who is the children’s legal guardian, and Joe – who Michael accused of beating him when he was a child and performing with his brothers in the Jackson 5 – are doing a good job raising the three kids.
She said: “My mother is really enjoying it – she says it keeps her going. My father and I have had a wonderful relationship for the past 14 years. Michael had a great understanding with his father as well. A lot of people don’t know that. They had made amends and were on very good terms.”

Michael Jackson Wanted To Build A Clone Of Himself
by admin on Nov.12, 2009, under Artist, Music, Singer

The ‘Thriller’ star – who died of acute Propofol intoxication aged 50 in June – underwent several three dimensional scans in 1996 so a virtual reality ‘robotic’ twin could be produced.
It is thought the scans could now be used to bring the singer back in pop videos, computer games or even films.
The anonymous US businessman who owned the images and has reportedly been trying to sell them for $1 million told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “The data has been in our archives since he had the scans. The thing about this data is it immortalised him at the age of 37, before his nose was disfigured and when he was in the prime of his life.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed Michael’s funeral was nearly cancelled at the last minute in a row over its cost.
Around $1 million was estimated to have been spent on the funeral, which took place on September 3.
Court papers have revealed just three days before the funeral was scheduled to take place, lawyers acting for the ‘Billie Jean’ star’s mother Katherine had filed a request to the administrators of his estate to pay for the funeral bills.
The lawyers stated that if the funeral home and local police department’s bills were not paid by the next day, the burial would not go ahead as planned. Administrators were luckily able to pay the bills in time, preventing any delays to the ceremony.
Katherine’s lawyers admitted the cost of the funeral was high, but added it was: “Entirely commensurate with the decedent’s worldwide status as an entertainer and the world’s grief over his death.”
