The ‘Baby’ hitmaker – who confirmed in March he was dating the 19-year-old star – admits he was surprised she agreed to date him because of how good looking she is.

Asked how he managed to get with her on the ‘Mike Missanelli Show’ on Fanatic FM in the US, he joked: “I was pretty shocked myself. She’s very beautiful. We started as friends like two years ago, so we’ve been friends for a long time, so that’s pretty much kind of how it started.”

However, the 17-year-old heartthrob reveals their friendly relationship started unusually. He added: “I had a girlfriend when Selena was my friend. I think we should be talking about sports.”

In August it was reported Selena had become angry with Justin after he begun hanging around with bad boy friends including Sean Kingston – who was a former child burglar – and ex-convict Lil Wayne. A friend of Selena’s said: “Selena told him to stop hanging with these bad people. She didn’t want him to crash her gig.”

Justin Bieber wears women’s jeans

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker – who has been dating singer and actress Selena Gomez since earlier this year – admitted he opts for girls’ clothing because it tends to fit him better than pieces designed for men.

He said: “I’ve worn women’s jeans before because they fit me. It’s not a trend; it’s just, whatever works, works.”

However, the 17-year-old hitmaker doesn’t look set to be borrowing anything from Selena’s wardrobe in the near future, as he admitted while the relationship is going “pretty well” the couple won’t be getting married “any time soon”.

Asked if nuptials are on the horizon, Justin told Life and Style magazine: “I don’t know. I feel like if it happens, it happens. Right now I’m just focusing on my music, and I feel like it’s going pretty well.

“I definitely believe in marriage – but not any time soon. We won’t live together until we’re married.”

Justin Bieber is unhurt after being involved in a “minor” car crash

The 17-year-old singing sensation’s Ferrari – which he is thought to have been driving alongside an unnamed passenger – collided into a Honda Civic car the Studio City area of Los Angeles yesterday (30.08.11), but there was no damage done to either drivers or vehicles.

Los Angeles Police officer Gregory Baek confirmed the ‘Never Say Never’ hitmaker was involved in a “very minor collision” but said there was no visible damage to his car.

This is not the first traffic incident Justin has been involved in recently.

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker was recently pulled over by undercover police on Ocean Drive in Miami while driving his friend Sean Kingston’s Rolls Royce convertible.

Police thought it was suspicious that someone so young was driving such an expensive car, but the pair did not break the law and were allowed to keep driving.

A source said at the time: “An undercover police officer was driving behind Justin and [his passenger] Sean Kingston. He pulled them over in front of the restaurant on Ocean Drive because he thought it was strange that this young kid was driving a brand new convertible Rolls-Royce.”

Beyonce Knowles is to perform at the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert – via satellite

The ‘Halo’ singer was a huge a fan of the ‘Thriller hitmaker’ – who passed away from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009, aged 50 – and it has now been confirmed she will take part in the ‘Michael Forever’ tribute concert, which is due to take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on October 8.

However, she won’t be able to make it in person because of “scheduling issues” but has found a way to be involved.

Writing on their Facebook page, promoters of the concert confirmed: “BEYONCE Beams Into Michael Forever Tribute!! A unique, never-before-seen performance by Beyonce of one of her favourite Jackson 5 songs will be shown at the concert on October 8th! A lifelong Michael fan, Beyonce really wanted to be involved in this tribute concert. Due to scheduling issues she can’t be there in person, but this performance is not to be missed! (sic)”

Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and Kanye West have also been asked to perform at the event, which will mark the life of the music legend as has Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z.

‘Harry Potter’ triumphed at the Teen Choice Awards last night (07.08.11), winning six prizes

The final movie in the series, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ won the Choice Summer Movie accolade, while Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the titular character, picked up the Choice Summer Movie Star Male gong and his co-star Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, won the female equivalent at the ceremony at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift was the biggest single winner on the night, taking home six prizes including Choice Music Female Artist, Country Music Female Country Artist, Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon Female and Choice Music Country Single for her hit ‘Mean’.

Accepting her Ultimate Teen Choice surfboard onstage, the 21-year-old singer joked: “It’s been a long time since I was a teenager, like two years.”

Selena Gomez nabbed five surfboard statuettes, including Choice TV Actress Comedy for her role as Alex Russo in the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ and Choice Music Love Song for ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ – beating her boyfriend Justin Bieber who achieved four wins.

The 17-year-old singer appeared on stage alongside his friend Sean Kingston, who was making his first live televised appearance since recovering from a jet-ski accident that left him needing two bouts of heart surgery and incapacitated with a broken jaw and shattered wrists.

Other multiple award winners included ‘Glee’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, which picked up a hat-trick of gongs including Choice Movie Actor Sci-Fi/Fantasy for Taylor Lautner’s portrayal of Jacob Black.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have reportedly called time on their relationship

The Disney actress – who has been dating the ‘Baby’ hitmaker since early this year – is said to have split from the 17-year-old singing sensation over concerns about his new-found bad boy pals.

In recent weeks, Justin has been hanging around with former child burglar turned rapper Sean Kingston, ex-convict Lil Wayne, and has collaborated on a new track with Chris Brown, who put his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in hospital after attacking her in 2009.

However, the final straw allegedly came when Justin brought Sean to one of the19-year-old singer’s concerts in Florida last week.

A friend of Selena said: “Selena told him to stop hanging with these bad people. She didn’t want him to crash her gig.

“They had a huge row and said it was good they were having time apart while she was on tour.”

However, Justin is said to have taken the split badly, and was spotted in tears after one of their arguments.

The pal added to The Sun newspaper: “It’s hard seeing a little 17-year-old crying and saying he loves her.”

Sean Kingston is doing well and his “spirits are a lot higher”, according to his close pal Justin Bieber

The 21-year-old singer was allowed home from Jackson Memorial Hospital last month, three weeks after he needed medical treatment following a jet-ski accident in Miami Beach, and ‘Baby’ hitmaker Justin has been keeping his spirits raised by spending time with him in Miami, Florida.

He told MTV News: “His [Sean's] spirits are a lot higher. He still has to have people around him to make sure he’s doing alright, but his spirits are high, and he’s doing well. We were just hanging out at his house, kicking it, driving around Miami and whatnot.”

‘Beautiful Girls’ hitmaker Sean – who took over a week after the accident on May 29 to be able to breathe on his own and walk again – took to twitter to praise Justin for his support.

He wrote: “@justinbieber Love u lil bro… miss u already…. swagg swagg … Just Did Some Shopping With My Lil Bro @justinbieber And Now Ima About To Hit The Beach…. Take my talents to southbeach real quick lol (sic)”

Meanwhile, Sean revealed he is desperate to get back in the recording studio later this month, tweeting: “Just got a sickk penthouse in L.A!! i cant wait to get out there in august and start working on my new album!!! (sic)”

Justin Bieber has gone on a camping trip with his family

The teen singing sensation – who is currently dating Selena Gomez – is enjoying spending quality time with his nearest and dearest “literally in the middle of nowhere”.

Writing on his twitter page, he said: “Enjoying time with my family literally in the middle of nowhere, but this nowhere place is pretty beautiful.

“On the water about to have a camp fire. Camping is legit. (sic)”

Family is very close to the 17-year-old star’s heart, as last Christmas he revealed his one festive wish was to spend the holiday season with his loved ones.

He said: “What’s at the top of my Christmas list? To celebrate the holidays with my family.”

Bieber Rips BET Security — ‘This Guy’s a D-Bag’

Justin Bieber’s entourage and security at the BET Awards got into a heated showdown — which ended with JB declaring the doorman was “a douche bag” … and the whole incident went down on camera.

TMZ obtained the video, which shows Bieber — who was a presenter at the award show — and his squad being stopped at the door last weekend. It appears one of Justin’s bodyguards did NOT have a ticket … and while both sides argued, Biebs eventually interrupted by saying, “I need to bring my security! This guy’s a douche bag.”

Everyone on Team Bieb ended up getting into the show — and a BET rep downplayed the incident … saying, “It is our standard policy to make sure everyone has their tickets or credential upon arrival. Justin had the proper credentials.”

As for Justin — his rep says the Biebs was just standing up for his bodyguards … the guys who always have his back.

Selena Gomez admits she still feels “awkward” wearing a bikini

The 18-year-old actress and singer – who is dating teen heartthrob Justin Bieber –is still conscious of her body as she grows into womanhood.

When asked if she feels under pressure to be sexy as she grows up, Selena told Time magazine: “Now that I am getting older I’m becoming a woman, and I want to explore that side of myself – but I still get awkward if I’m in a bikini so I don’t think I’ll be doing anything too drastic anytime soon.”

The ‘Bang Bang Bang’ singer also goes out of the way to be personable and welcoming toward her fans. She explained: “Sometimes fans for male pop stars or actors can be a little crazy. I was that way with Jesse McCartney from N’Sync. “But I could probably have lunch with every single one of my fans. I like that I don’t seem unapproachable and that they’re not trying to get with me.”

Selena did, however, suffer a backlash on the internet when it was revealed she was dating Justin, but has taken it all in her stride. Justin Bieber — Clash w/ Undercover Cop

A member of Justin Bieber’s personal security team was cited for disorderly conduct today after the singer had a frightening run-in with an undercover cop in NYC … but it was all one MAJOR misunderstanding.

Bieber was signing autographs outside of Macy’s when the crowd became unruly … and a plainclothes police officer rushed to help the singer.

Problem is — Bieber didn’t know the guy was a cop — so when the cop got close to Justin … Bieber got defensive thinking he was a crazy fan. A member of Bieber’s security team immediately grabbed the cop and tried to pull him away.

The cop quickly identified himself — and cited the security team member for disorderly conduct.

But this story has a happy ending … sources connected to the situation tell us both sides straightened everything out — and Bieber is still signing autographs inside the department store.

Selena Gomez blames her hospitalisation on eating too much junk food

The actress-and-singer – who sought medical attention on Friday (10.06.11) when she fell ill with nausea and a severe headache – has blamed the fact she was “malnourished” on her bingeing on chocolate bars and fatty treats which were no good for her.

She told Texas radio station Mix 96.5: “I love M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers and Goobers at the movies. I do eat, the problem is I don’t eat right. I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”

The ‘Who Says’ hitmaker said her mother, Mandy, is now looking after her healthy eating and she is going to have to change a lifetime’s worth of habits to cut down on eating too many diary-based treats.

She added: “Mom’s definitely shoving vitamins down my mouth and following me around. But at the same time, I was a stubborn kid, so I got to eat whatever I wanted.

“I have to have creamed spinach or cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy.”

Mandy is also making sure her daughter gets some much-needed rest and recovers properly.

A source close to the family said: “Selena’s mom is amazing. She doesn’t want to be in the spotlight herself like so many other celebrity parents. Instead, she just wants to make sure that her daughter remains normal while living such an extraordinary life.”

Selena Gomez was admitted to hospital after suffering from “malnourishment”

David said: “When we got told it was a boy, Romeo said, ‘How about Justin Bieber as a name? Justin Bieber Beckham?’

“So now we know it’s a girl, he said, ‘Well, how about Justine Bieber Beckham?’ “

Justin Bieber has introduced Selena Gomez to his extended family.

The 17-year-old Canadian singer and his 18-year-old girlfriend were joined at the Swiss Chalet restaurant in his home town on Stratford, Ontario yesterday (01.06.11) by his cousins and aunt and uncle, where onlookers described them as “friendly and happy”.

One source said: “Justin and Selena had lunch with Justin’s cousins and his aunt and uncle. They were really sweet and make an adorable couple.

“They looked happy and in love. They acted just like everyday people, very down-to-earth. Justin is part of the community, he’s one of us and is as friendly as can be.”

Earlier in the day, Selena – who spend last weekend introducing her boyfriend to her family in Texas – spent time with Justin’s mother Patti Malette and grandparents at local eatery Madelyn’s Diner while the ‘Baby’ hitmaker worked out at a nearby gym.

Waitress Glynnie McCauley told HollywoodLife.com: “Selena enjoyed our home-made comfort food with Justin’s mom and grandparents. Justin’s stepmom and his stepmom’s daughter Amanda also joined them.

“They all got along wonderfully. Selena sat next to Justin’s grandmother and across from Justin’s mom. They all seemed really happy. Selena was so nice. She is super sweet and even posed with one of the waitresses for a photo.”

It seems Justin has been taking the time to show Selena all of his favourite hang-outs in Stratford.

On Tuesday (31.05.11) evening, the couple took a romantic stroll along the Stratford Upon Avon river, and the pair couldn’t hide their affection for one another.

Local resident Taylor Ramsey said: “They looked completely in love with each other.

“Justin had his arm around Selena and was showing her the swans in the river.

“After they walked around the river, they sat on one of the bridges for a little while. It’s a really romantic place to go because it is so peaceful and you are surrounded by nature.”

Justin Bieber has got a new tattoo

The 17-year-old singer was pictured topless in Hawaii with his singer girlfriend Selena Gomez sporting his the new ink – which is believed to spell “Yeshua”, the Hebrew spelling of Jesus – under his left armpit.

The design is thought to be the Canadian singer-songwriter’s second tattoo after he had a small bird inked onto his hip last year, shortly after celebrating his 16th birthday in March.

Following Justin revealing his debut tattoo, the ‘One Time’ singer’s fans bombarded twitter with positive comments.

One wrote: “Justin Bieber has a tattoo? That’s hot.”

And another tweeted: “Whenever my dad tells me I’m a disappointment for having a tattoo, I will remind him that Justin Bieber, 16, has one.”

Justin’s recent inking may have been a present to himself after he picked up six accolades at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (22.05.11) in Las Vegas.

“He is in awe of her. Justin is just a red-blooded teenager, he can’t help acting like a love-sick puppy dog when he’s around her. “The pair were chatting as Justin’s girlfriend Selena looked on, scowling. Then Rihanna got dragged away by a couple of her friends.

“The pair resumed their chat later but when Justin went to talk to her at the show’s climax her security blocked his path, telling him to ‘leave it’.”

Justin Bieber was left stranded on the side of the road in downtown Los Angeles today when the battery died on the crazy ride he was driving around in.

We’re told Bieber was chilling with Rob Dyrdek at his Fantasy Factory, when he decided to take one of the cars out for a spin.

The cool ride didn’t last long — the battery died and Justin had to call back to the factory to have a replacement one brought out to him. We’re told Justin didn’t have to wait too long for help to arrive.

Justin Bieber — VOMITING in the Philippines

Justin Bieber was so sick last night at his show in the Philippines, TMZ has learned, the singer repeatedly took breaks during his set to run backstage … and barf his brains out.

Sources close to Bieber tell TMZ, JB came down with some kind of chest infection last week — and when he hit the stage last night in Manila … the wooziness was way too much to handle.

Gotta give the kid props — in fact, just before his concert last night, he tweeted, “Sick as a dog … But the show must go on.”

Justin Bieber “was kind of a brat” when he appeared on ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’

The 17-year-old superstar made a guest appearance in the drama TV series playing troubled teen Jason McCann, who was shot dead, in the series finale, and according to actress Marg Helgenberger some of his behaviour was unacceptable.

Marg – who plays CSI investigator Catherine Willows in the show – claims he locked a producer in a cupboard and ruined a cake.

In an interview with France’s Le Grand Direct Des Medias, She said: “I shouldn’t be saying this but he was kind of a brat.

“He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.”

Despite Justin’s misbehaviour on set, Marg, 52, insists he is a competent actor – especially for someone with no prior experience.

She said: “Justin Bieber wasn’t bad. He’d never acted before … He’s better than you’d think.”

At the time of his appearance the ‘Baby’ hitmaker said he enjoyed getting into the role, especially when his character came to a dramatic when he was gunned down in a stand-off with police.

He said: “It was really cool because I actually – I get shot, like several times.

“I fall down and there’s fake blood and everything. It’s crazy how the whole process is.”

Justin Bieber — I’m Doing Japan No Matter What

Justin Bieber will perform in Japan this month come hell or high water … TMZ has learned — despite his crew staging an outright mutiny … and refusing to go with him.

The Biebs is scheduled to perform across the Pacific in two weeks — once in Osaka and once in Tokyo — but as we previously reported, many of his crew members are flat out REFUSING to take the trip … because they’re afraid of the cancer risks from the recent nuclear disaster.

We’re told the crew is still locked in stalemate over the concerts — but the Biebs has decided … he’s hitting Japan this month no matter what … crew be damned.

And get this … if Bieber doesn’t have the manpower for stadium gigs — we’re told he’ll take on whatever smaller venues he can … all the way down to homeless shelters.

See? Good things happen to those who Belieb.

Justin Bieber is writing his new album while on tour

The teen singing sensation – who is currently on his ‘My World Tour’ – has revealed, despite having to travel the globe, he has still found the time to lay down tracks for his next record and is “excited” about giving fans the opportunity to hear his new music this summer.

Writing on his twitter page, he said: “been writing alot of songs on the road. excited to just get this music out later this year and record this summer. (sic)”

As well as writing new songs, the 17-year-old ‘Baby’ hitmaker – who had a guest role on crime show ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ earlier this year – admitted he has caught the acting bug and “definitely” wants another role in front of the camera.

He recently explained: “I definitely want to do more acting, and further my career in that area, that’s something I would love to do.”

However, although he wants to branch out in his career, Justin is still concentrating on his music and hopes to secure some new collaborations in the future.

He said: “I would love to perform with Stevie Wonder or Beyonce Knowles.”

Johnny Depp’s daughter is obsessed with Justin Bieber

The Hollywood star has had to start accepting her 11-year-old daughter Lily-Rose is becoming interested in boys and the Canadian pop heartthrob in particular.

Johnny first realised she was a ‘Belieber’ when he told her he had met the ‘Baby’ singer.

He revealed: “Unfortunately, Lily Rose is now severely interested in boys. That’s horrible for me as her dad. I recently met Justin Bieber at a press conference. When I told her that, she changed her colour several times. Jack is like me when I was eight. Totally obsessed with World War II.”

The 47-year-old actor – who also has an eight-year-old son Jack with his long-term partner Vanessa Paradis – can’t believe how mature his daughter is for her age and claims she is already showing she shares her mother’s talent for music.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star added: “She is almost 12 and she’s incredible mature for her age, almost frightening smart. She writes little poems and I can picture her starting to write her own songs soon. She has the voice of her mother.”
