Fergie & Josh — Our Bodyguard Saved a Life!

Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s cross-country flight had to be diverted for a passenger’s medical emergency — and it was the couple’s bodyguard who sprang into action to help save the man’s life!

Sources on the late night flight from NY to LA tell us a passenger began vomiting, then had a seizure. We’re told Fergie and Josh’s bodyguard, Pascal — a mountain of a man — jumped up to help flight attendants move the passenger into the aisle.

We’re told a doctor, who happened to be on board, performed CPR — then Pascal moved the man to the back of the plane, where flight attendants attached him to a heart monitor.

The flight was diverted to Las Vegas … and the passenger received treatment at a nearby hospital.

In true hero fashion, Pascal was mum about the incident when they got to LAX — but Josh was quick to sing his praises.

Fergie says spending quality time with her husband is one of her top priorities for the year

The Black Eyed Peas singer – who married actor Josh Duhamel in January 2009 – won’t be releasing a second solo album in the near future as she wants to concentrate on her home life.

She told TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “I’ve got a lot on my plate and this year is more about simplifying and really paying attention to the projects that I have on my plate and spending some time with the hubby, you know?”

One of the domestic projects Fergie has in mind is clearing out the clutter in their house.

She said: “We’ll be cleaning out my closet. That’s been a big thing this year – huge for me – purging and splurging. I finally am at the place where I’m letting it go. I’m cleaning things out and I’m starting to make more purchases for myself.”

Last year, Fergie revealed she is keen to start a family with Josh.

The 36-year-old star: “It’s going to be a whole other chapter and a lot of fun!”

Josh Duhamel (born November 14, 1972) is an American actor and former fashion model. He first achieved acting success in 1999 as Leo du Pres on ABC’s All My Children and later as the chief of security, Danny McCoy, on NBC’s Las Vegas. Josh is also well known for his role as one of the protagonists, Captain/ Major William Lennox, in the box office hit Transformers as well as its sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Josh has stated, “After college, I followed an ex-girlfriend to northern California, did a bunch of odd jobs.” Duhamel had won the title of Male Model of the Year in an International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in 1997.

He began his acting career as an extra in the music videos for Donna Summer’s song, “I Will Go With You (Con te partirò)” in 1998 and Christina Aguilera’s song, “What A Girl Wants” in 1999. Later that year, he won the role of Leo du Pres on the ABC soap opera All My Children. His work on the show, especially his character’s pairing with Greenlee Smythe, garnered critical acclaim.

Josh posed fully nude for Greg Gorman’s “As I See It” photography book in 2000. In 2003, he earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for the Special Fan Award for America’s Favorite Couple in 2002, shared with Budig, and a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Leo du Pres. Josh opted to leave All My Children in 2002 to pursue other acting opportunities.

Fergie made Josh Duhamel a “better man”

The couple – who met in 2004 and married in January 2009 – inspire one another and the ‘Transformers’ actor says he will always be grateful for his spouse’s support.

He said: “It was really important to me to have somebody who wanted success for me, who wanted the best for me, who pushed me and inspired me to be better. Not somebody who, for whatever reason, whether resentment or jealousy or whatever, will hold you back. I went through that once before.

“I knew early on that Fergie was right for me. She’s got an incredible strength and optimism. I knew that I was going to be a better man with her.”

Josh, 37, also spoke of the differences between him and the Black Eyed Peas star, admitting his 35-year-old spouse enjoys being in the spotlight more than he does.

He told America’s Elle magazine: “I don’t necessarily like a lot of attention. My wife, when she walks into a room, she just lights it up. I’m much more low-key.”

The ‘Life as We Know It’ actor admitted his parents’ divorce had had a huge effect on him when he was growing up, admitting the split made him more “sensitive”.

He said: “It affected me a lot. I was a very sensitive, emotional kid because of that.

“I didn’t want to displease either one of my parents; when you’re that young, you don’t want it to erupt. I’ve always had this feeling that I don’t want to stay too long, I don’t want be a burden. Growing up, it was not wanting to be in the way, not wanting to make a scene.”

Fergie insists she will be a “sexy” mother.

The Black Eyed Peas singer is going to discuss starting a family with her husband Josh Duhamel when her current tour ends and is confident she will still be hot even when she has a baby in tow.

She told Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “You can be a mother and still be completely sexy.”

Although the 35-year-old pop star is thinking about motherhood she admits she is completely focused on her music career right now.

She said: “Right now, I don’t want anything clouding my focus. Right now, I’m living in the present.”

Fergie recently confessed she would feel “too guilty” to perform on stage if she was pregnant.

She stated: “Everyone tries to rush you into everything these days, but for me right now it’s all about Black Eyed Peas – there’s no room in my schedule to have a child.

“Even if I wanted to get pregnant, there’s no way I could perform on stage and be pregnant, I would feel too guilty. Once I have children, the kids come first.”

Selena Gomez’s ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ co-stars pick on her.

The 17-year-old actress – who was discovered by Disney in 2004 and plays lead character Alex Russo in the hit show – is close to everyone on the set of the hit show and says they feel like a family.

She explained: “When the cameras are not rolling we are definitely like a family. We’re constantly like picking on each other and talking.

“I think the person I’m closest to would definitely have to be Jennifer Stone, who plays my best friend Harper Finkle on the show.”

However, Selena – who recently ended her romance with Joe Jonas – admitted while shooting upcoming film ‘Ramona and Beezus’, she got on with one co-star particularly well.

She explained: “Josh Duhamel – oh yes, very nice. He’s so cute!

Josh Duhamel can’t wait to become a father.

The handsome actor says he and wife Fergie want to start a family in the future but denied rumours the Black Eyed Peas star was already pregnant.

He said: “We’ll go there, at some point.”

In his new movie, ‘Life As We Know It’, Josh plays the adoptive father of an orphaned child and says the role has helped prepare him for fatherhood.

He said: “I learned a lot from these kids. The amount of patience it takes, I guess, is the big thing.”

Josh – who earlier this year renewed his marriage vows with Fergie ahead of their first wedding anniversary – has previously spoken of his desire to have children.

He said: “We’re thinking about kids. I don’t know when. She said that she’d be pregnant twice. So I said, ‘Great, we’ll have two sets of twins!’ ”

Following the renewal of their wedding vows, Josh it was the “best date” the couple have ever had.

Josh Duhamel insists his second wedding to Fergie was the “best date” the couple have ever had.

The ‘Transformers’ actor renewed his vows with the Black Eyed Peas singer just a few days before their first wedding anniversary on January 10, and Josh has revealed Fergie wasn’t aware of his plans.

He told NBC: “It was the best date we had ever. I got to surprise her. I said, ‘Just be ready at 3 o’clock.’ ”

Fergie, 34, and 37-year-old Josh attended last night’s (17.01.10) Golden Globe awards and the singer-and-actress revealed she was planning to enjoy the evening because it was one of the couple’s last nights together before she goes on tour with the Black Eyed Peas.

Speaking before the ceremony – which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, and was hosted by Ricky Gervais – she said: “It’s date night!”

Fergie and Josh renewed their commitment to each other in a ceremony on a beach in California.

A source previously revealed: “Fergie was crying and seemed very emotional.

“They were both dressed nicely and walked right out to the bluff outside the hotel where weddings often take place. A minister was waiting for them.”

Terri Jackson has spoken out in defence of her “great” son-in-law, following reports the couple – who married in January this year – have been going through marriage difficulties after allegations Josh cheated on the 34-year-old beauty with several women.

She said: “My daughter’s life is amazing and Josh is a great guy – that story is b******t as far as I’m concerned.”

It had been reported the ‘Transformers’ star cheated on the songstress while away filming the action movies.
