Kelly Preston & John Travolta — Wind Of Change
by Kavy on Jun.08, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Baby
Kelly Preston’s pregnancy has “changed her life”.
The actress and her husband John Travolta – whose 16-year-old son Jett died after suffering a seizure in January 2009 – recently revealed they are expecting a baby, and her mother Linda Carlson believes the new addition is just what the couple and their 10-year-old daughter Ella need to get over their grief.
Linda said: “We are over the moon I’ve been praying that this would happen, especially since Jett’s death. Anything to get them out of their sorrow. I know Kelly has been longing for another baby. She just loves babies! So do I. I just can’t wait for this child to arrive. It’s taken them out of such deep grief and made them able to focus on new life.
“It couldn’t come at a better time. Her aura is so filled with peace. It’s changed their lives.”
Linda has promised the baby will be taught all about their late brother as they get older.
She added: “He’ll see the pictures and he’ll be told stories. He or she, whatever.”
Despite her advancing years, 47-year-old Kelly is not concerned about the effect her age may have on the baby’s health.
Linda said: “She’s not worried about it at all. She’s not concerned. She takes really good care of herself and she’s in good health. She looks so much younger.”
Shortly after Jett’s death, the family were victims of an extortion plot, which Linda believes worsened their grief over the teenager’s passing.
She added to Usmagazine.com: “They have been through so much. Not only losing Jett but those horrible men trying to extort them! Unbelievable. It was awful on them, they were grieving so badly. They do weather it, but holy cow, such grief. John was devastated, just devastated.”

by Kavy on Jun.01, 2010, under Singer
Gabriella Cilmi wants to date an older man.
The 19-year-old singer – who is currently single – admits she has a strict list of criteria when looking for a partner, with one of the most essential attributes being prowess in the kitchen.
She said: “I think I have a thing for older men like Robert Downey Jr.
“Tall dark and handsome… someone who cracks me up, makes me laugh, someone intelligent, someone who can cook, I can’t at all… so yes, someone who can cook better than me. That’s very important.”
The ‘Woman On A Mission’ hitmaker even admitted she burst into tears when she met one of her biggest crushes, 56-year-old John Travolta.
She told BANG Showbiz: “I met John Travolta at a Formula 1 event where I sang the national anthem. He was waving the flag at the start of the race and I was crying. The mayor introduced us… John has these really piercing blue eyes. I was just crying, and kept thinking ‘that’s Danny Zucko, that’s Danny Zucko!’ I used to watch ‘Grease‘ over and over again.”
The ‘Sweet About Me’ star would also like to go on a date with Jake Gyllenhaal, ten years her senior, but admitted she’d probably be so nervous she wouldn’t be able to speak to him.
She said: “I can’t wait to see ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’ with Jake Gyllenhaal, he’s pretty fine if I might say so. I probably wouldn’t be able to talk properly though because when I get nervous I can’t construct a sentence.”

Does Robin Williams Knows How John Travolta Coped With His Son’s Death ?
by Alice on Mar.31, 2010, under Actor, Death
Robin Williams doesn’t know how John Travolta coped after his son died.
The actor – who stars in family movie ‘Old Dogs’ alongside John, whose 16-year-old son Jett passed away in January 2009 following a seizure while on holiday in the Bahamas – can’t imagine there is anything “tougher” than outliving your children.
Referring to the Governors Ball, a party that took place after the Oscars ceremony in March, Williams said: “That’s the worst thing that can happen to you, to have a child die before you. It doesn’t get any tougher than that. There’s such a kindness to him. Sitting there at the Governors Ball, to hang with him for a minute, that was the best moment for me.”
The ‘Good Will Hunting’ star – who has three children, daughter Zelda, 20, and sons Zach, 26, and Cody, 18 – says his friend is like a “sweet panda” because he has dealt with Jett’s passing with such dignity.
He added to the USA Today newspaper: “He’s such a sweet man. He’s the human equivalent of a panda. I saw him after the Academy Awards. It was good just to sit with him and say, ‘How are you doing, man?’ He said, ‘I’m OK.’ “
Williams, 58, also admitted the time off work he had last year following surgery to correct an irregular heartbeat had given him the opportunity to reassess his life. He said: “It’s so nice having time off right now. There’s no rush. Enjoy it. When you have something like heart surgery, you appreciate the simple things, like breathing. I’m taking it a lot easier.”

Charlie In Trouble
by Alice on Mar.04, 2010, under Actor
Brittany Ashland – who filed a suit in 1997 alleging the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star attacked her – has reportedly approached Arnold Mordkin, the Pitkin County Deputy District Attorney in charge of the case against Charlie, who is accused of assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day (25.12.09) and offered to give evidence against him, Radar Online have reported.
Charlie, 44, is expected to plead not guilty to a felony and two misdemeanour charges when he appears in court on March 15.
It was previously reported that the district attorney in charge of the case was keen to interview the actor’s other ex-girlfriend Kelly Preston, as well as former wife Denise Richards.
In 1990, he accidentally shot Kelly – who is now married to John Travolta – in the arm, which led to the end of their engagement, while Denise filed a restraining order in 2006 claiming he’d threatened to kill her.
Charlie – who has 10-month-old twin sons Bob and Max with Brooke and daughters Sam, five, and Lola, four, with Denise – is currently in rehab.
Following Brittany’s 1997 allegations that he grabbed her by the hair and slammed her into a marble floor, knocking her unconscious, Charlie pleaded no contest to misdemeanour battery with serious injury charges and was given a suspended jail sentence.

‘Brad and Angelina’ – Are They “happy” … ?
by Alice on Feb.08, 2010, under Actor, Actress
The couple – who raise six children together – fought back against rumours they are on the verge of splitting and couldn’t keep their hands off each other at the annual American football championship game at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
A source told X17 Online: “Brad and Angelina looked perfectly happy together – so much so that it seems impossible that there were all of those recent reports suggesting they were separating.”
The pair and their eight-year-old son Maddox watched the game in their VIP skybox as they saw the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts.
The couple have been plagued by rumours of a split over the past few weeks, and last month it was claimed they had visited lawyers to finalise custody arrangements and split their finances in the event of a separation.
Brad and Angelina weren’t the only famous faces at the game.
Tom Cruise also attended with his three-year-old daughter Suri – his child with wife Katie Holmes – and son Connor, who he adopted with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman.
Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher were also watching from the crowd, as well as John Travolta, Gloria Estefan, and LL Cool J.

John Travolta And Robin Williams Once Crashed A Wedding After Drinking Together In Santa Barbara
by cyan on Nov.18, 2009, under Actor

The American actors decided after a night of drinking together in Santa Barbara, California, they would join in with the celebrations next door to the bar they were at.
John said: “We were having fun, starting to relax, when we saw there was a wedding next door. We figured we’d crash it.”
At first, guests didn’t realise the actors – who were both TV stars in the late 70s, when the nuptials took place – were the real stars of shows ‘Welcome Back, Kotter’ and ‘Mork and Mindy’.
John, 55, added: “They figured out who we were. Some guy yelled out, ‘Hey, they really are Mork and Vinnie Barbarino!’ ”
The pair were reunited on the set of their latest film, comedy ’Old Dogs’, but their off-the-wall antics and on-set jokes proved too much for some of their co-stars to cope with.
John’s wife Kelly Preston, who plays Robin’s love interest in the movie, said: “The hardest part of being in a scene with any of these guys was not laughing and ruining every single take.
“And if you did laugh, the director just let us go with it, because they’re going to be goofy and try to make you laugh.”
‘Old Dogs’ – which is released next March – follows a pair of ageing sports stars played by John and Robin who are charged with looking after a pair of seven-year-old twins Robin’s character never realise

by admin on Nov.12, 2009, under Actor

The actor – whose eldest child Jett died after suffering a seizure on holiday in the Bahamas in January aged 16 – was astonished by the messages of support he, wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella, nine, received from well-wishers after the tragedy.
He said: “I just want to take one moment to thank each and every one of you throughout this country, throughout the world for all your support and all your love for our family. Thank you very much.”
The ‘Pulp Fiction’ star is throwing himself into a new hobby to help cope with his grief – playing tennis late at night with his staff.
He explained to US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “I play at midnight. Kind of vampire style.
“The house manager and the house maintenance person, they both live my hours, so … at midnight we go to the local tennis court.”
Earlier this week, John revealed he and his family have been undergoing daily Scientology counselling to help cope with their grief.
He said: “We’ve been working very hard every day as a family to heal. We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping.”

John Travolta Is Going Through Counselling To Cope With His Son’s Death
by cyan on Nov.10, 2009, under Actor

The ‘Pulp Fiction’ star – whose eldest child Jett, 16, died after suffering a seizure during a holiday to the Bahamas in January – is taking religious counselling with his family to help them work through the tragedy.
John – who along with wife Kelly Preston is a follower of sci-fi cult Scientology – said: “We’ve been working very hard every day as a family to heal.
“We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping.”
Kelly added: “The outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary. It’s been our friends, our family, our church.
“We partake in spiritual counselling pretty much daily.”
John, 55, and 47-year-old Kelly – who also have nine-year-old daughter Ella – have avoided the spotlight since Jett’s death but admit they have relied heavily on the support of friends.
Kelly added: “It’s a tricky thing. Sometimes, something that’s right for the moment is not right the next day.
“Being with people who are important to you, being with people that you love, I think that’s what has primarily helped us the most. Sometimes, being alone, too.”
