The 22-year-old singer – who allegedly ended his previous relationship with the country music star via a 27-second phone call in 2008 – is said to be desperate to prove to the blonde beauty that he’s a “changed man”.

A friend of the star told Us Weekly magazine: “He wants her back. He wants to show her he’s a changed man and would love to see what’s possible between them.

“They’re putting their past behind them. And maybe rekindling an old flame.”

However, Taylor – who has since dated Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal – might not be too thrilled at the idea, as she has previously admitted she doubts she’ll even remember who Joe is when she eventually finds the love of her life.

She said: “You know what it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “They met when Joe did a song with Rihanna’s ex Chris Brown and recently she’s been bombarding him with raunchy text messages.

“She keeps laughing to her mates that she wants to take him one the wildest ride of his life.”

Joe Jonas believes his solo album is more “mature” than the music he makes with his brothers

The Jonas Brothers star – who will release his debut solo LP ‘Fast Life’ on September 5 – says penning the material for the record alone has made it more personal as it explores him growing up.

He said: “It’s a more mature sound and I wrote nearly every song on the album, so I’m singing about things I’ve gone through in the last year and really speaking from my heart. It’s definitely a coming-of-age record.”

Joe admitted he initially struggled to write songs without his brothers, but is happy with the way he eventually found his voice.

He added: “In the beginning, it was difficult because I hadn’t written many songs without my brothers.

“I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to write honest lyrics and not hold anything back. I’ve just gone for it though, and I’m happy with the outcome.”

The 21-year-old singer – who has previously dated stars including Joe Jonas and Jake Gyllenhaal – insists she doesn’t mind being photographed with her boyfriends and finds the attention amusing.

She said: “If somebody wants to hide a relationship or has privacy issues, then we don’t have the same viewpoint. Because, for me, it’s just like, live your life.

“If people happen to take pictures then, you know, you laugh about it in the car afterward.”

The 21-year-old singer and the ‘Twilight Saga‘ actress – who have been dating Joe since last summer – took time out from their late night meal at the Ichiban Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar in Baton Rouge to chat to and pose for pictures with fellow diners and staff.

One of the managers told People magazine: “They were really friendly. They just walked in, sat down, and the word started going around that they were here.

“They each had a Hibachi meal and some sushi. The kitchen crew and wait staff were excited to see them. Some of them stayed late because they were hoping to get their picture.

“I don’t watch the ‘Twilight’ movies, so I wasn’t so familiar with them. But everyone else in the restaurant knew who they were. They were definitely there together, as a couple. I have to say, they were very nice. I think they’ll come back.”

Kevin added: “We have this method, where we use different suitcases that hold the clothes and things you’ll need for different days.

“We’re also putting up family photos. We went shopping at Target to get some new rugs, and we have great food in the fridge.”

Danielle, 23, also added she is adapting to life on the road and is glad she gets to spend every day with her new husband.

In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Jonas’ attorney claims the story is “completely false, offensive and defamatory” — and accuses Taylor of a “malicious attempt to attack and devalue [Joe's] good name and reputation.”

Team Jonas is demanding that Taylor pull the post ASAP … or else a lawsuit may follow.

The blonde beauty – who split from Disney singer-and-actor Joe Jonas, 20, last November – used her appearance on the popular weekend show to brag to her ex-boyfriend about her growing success.

She sang: “You might think I’d bring up Joe Jonas, that guy who broke up with me on the phone / But I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue.

“Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL. / But I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha.”

The 19-year-old songstress has been dating ‘Twilight’ actor Taylor Lautner over the past few months.

Although they have not been together long, Taylor used the opportunity to declare her love for the 17-year-old hunk.

She mouthed, ‘Hi Taylor’, before blowing a kiss and winking at the camera and singing: “And if you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from ‘Twilight’ / I’m not gonna comment on that in my monologue.”

The teenage singing sensation also used the evening to speak about Kanye West’s behaviour at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in August.

Singer Kanye stormed the stage, interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video and told the audience he thought Beyonce Knowles should have been given the honour instead.

Taylor quipped: “You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye and how he ran up on the stage and ruined my VMA monologue / But there’s nothing more to say / ’cause everything’s okay / I’ve got security lining the stage.”

The 19-year-old singer – who has reportedly been dating the 17-year-old actor Taylor Lautner after they met on set of their romantic comedy ‘Valentine’s Day’ – took the ‘Twilight’ hunk out for dinner with her mom Andrea Swift on Monday night, sparking rumours their relationship is getting serious.

She said: “Are we an item? I don’t know. He’s an amazing guy and we’re really close. And, yep, were in a movie together and I’m really excited about seeing it.”

The songstress is so desperate to see herself looking loved-up with Taylor on the big screen, she has begged movie bosses to let them watch the an advanced version of the film in private.

She explained to CMT Radio host Cody Alan: “I haven’t seen ‘Valentine’s Day’ at all. So hopefully we’ll get to do a private screening because we both wanna see it so bad ’cause our scene was so much fun to do.”

The blonde songstress recently admitted she was keen to start dating again following her split from Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas last October.

Taylor and Taylor were spotted together at a Los Angeles Kings hockey game last weekend.

She recently admitted: “I love him, he’s so cute.”

‘Valentine’s Day’ is due for release next year.
