Jim Carrey doesn’t know if he’ll ever find someone to spend the rest of his life with

The ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ actor – who split from girlfriend of five years Jenny McCarthy in 2010 – admitted after having had to “erase” a number of former flames from his life, he doesn’t know if he will ever commit to another person fully.

He said: “I’ve been erased and I know what it’s like to erase someone. You know the feeling when you loved somebody and it ends and you feel as if they’ve moved on or maybe even none of it ever mattered? It’s a terrible feeling.

“But everything in my life comes to me for a reason, to step me up to another level and to make me learn. Every single relationship has brought me a little bit closer to realising what I want and what I don’t want, and teaching me the value of love.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever actually find somebody I can hang with for the rest of my life.”

The 49-year-old star – who has battled with depression in the past – explained he has on occasions veered into a “bad neighbourhood” in his life.

Jim added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I veer off the road once in a while and take the off-ramp into a bad neighbourhood and live there for a while, but it’s not usually very long.

“Everything starts to go wrong and you can only stay in that mode for a short time if you’re awake and sober and looking at the universe.”

Jim Carrey is allegedly dating an ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant

The ‘I Love You Philip Morris’ actor – who has been single since his five-year relationship with Jenny McCarthy ended last April – has sparked speculation he is romancing 24-year-old Anchal Joseph after they were pictured leaving a New York theatre smiling and holding hands.

Anchal – who is 25 years younger than the actor – came seventh in the seventh season on the reality TV series in 2006, which is fronted by Tyra Banks.

Though Jim has not commented on his rumoured new romance, it is not the first time he has recently taken in a stage show with an attractive young female companion.

Last Wednesday (12.01.11), he enjoyed a production of ‘ Fuerza Bruta: Look Up’ in New York’s Union Square with a mystery blonde, though they were accompanied by two bodyguards to ensure they would not be photographed together.

A source said at the time: “Carrey’s assistant called the theatre to ensure security would be top-notch and no one was to approach him for pictures.

“They were very romantic and there was lots of hand-holding.”

Jim Carrey cracked the biggest smile on the planet at a rooftop party in NYC this past Saturday — and we’re guessing it had a lot to do with that smoking hot brunette in his arms.

Jenny McCarthy is “upset” she doesn’t have her own sex tape.

The former Playboy Playmate – who split up with long-term boyfriend Jim Carrey earlier this year – claims she would love there to be some X-rated footage of her because she knows she rates highly in the bedroom.

She joked: “No I don’t have a sex tape and I’m kind of upset that I don’t. You know why? Because I’m really good.”

One of the reasons Jenny rates herself so highly in bed is because she has become more “horny” now she’s older.

The 37-year-old blonde said: “As we get older, I’ve noticed, now being 37, I’m much more horny than I was in my 20s.

“I’m about a 9.8 on the horny scale.”

Jenny also revealed how she doesn’t judge a man by the size of his manhood.

She told US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “Size definitely helps, but the thing is, you don’t need big. Average is awesome. Standard issue is awesome!”

Jenny recently revealed the reason behind her split from Jim, saying the fun had been taken out of their relationship.

The actress – who dated the funnyman for almost five years – said: “You know, the simple word I can give – and there’s a few, so let me say a few. The first thing is, when it’s not fun anymore, you need to start investigating and do an inquiry into the relationship.”

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey split up because their relationship was “not fun anymore”

The former couple went their separate ways in April this year – almost five years after they started dating – and the blonde beauty admits the paid analysed their feelings for a long time before ending their romance.

Asked by US TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey when she knew it was over, Jenny said: “You know, the simple word I can give – and there’s a few, so let me say a few. The first thing is, when it’s not fun anymore, you need to start investigating and do an inquiry into the relationship.”

The 37-year-old star – who has an eight-year-old son Evan with ex-husband John Asher – also insisted she had never even considered a reconciliation with the 48-year-old actor.

When Oprah questioned her about a possible reunion, she replied: “God, another good question. I didn’t even think about that one, though.”

Jenny recently admitted she is enjoying being single and feels more “peaceful” since moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

She said: “I’m enjoying the single life tremendously!

“I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out to Las Vegas, believe it or not, I feel more peaceful.

“Evan has seen every single show and he’s gone to every casino, every arcade. There really is only so much you can do with a kid.”

It seems a very tough competition for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and co-star Taylor Lautner for the award of Best Performer of the Year. British National Movie Awards is based on votes from the public, who make their choices online and on the phone.

The 47-year-old actor’s daughter Jane Carrey, 22, gave birth to a baby boy at a Los Angeles hospital on Friday (26.02.10) a few days ahead of her March 3 due date.
Jane – who fronts rock group The Jane Carrey Band – and her husband, Blood Money singer Alex ‘Nitro’ Santana, have named their new arrival Jackson Riley Santana.
A representative for the actor revealed Jackson weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz and is 20 inches long.
Jim revealed his daughter was about to give birth this week on twitter.
On Tuesday (23.02.10), he tweeted: “Something beautiful is right around the corner.”
And on Friday he posted: “Right around the corner!”
When Jane announced her happy news last July, Jim – who split from Jane’s mother, his first wife Melissa Womer, in 1995 – predicted his daughter would be a fantastic parent.
He said at the time: “Jane is going to be a great mom.”
The ‘Yes Man’ actor’s long-term girlfriend Jenny McCarthy recently admitted she couldn’t wait to become a grandmother to Jane’s baby.
The blonde beauty – who has a seven-year-old son Evan from a previous relationship – said: “I think I’m going to be the awesome grandma, the world’s best is what I say.”

The ‘Elf’ actor and comedian topped the annual list by Forbes magazine, which calculated how much moviemakers earn per dollar paid to their lead actor.

After the last couple of funnyman Will’s films – ‘Semi-Pro’ and ‘Land of the Lost’ – bombed at the box office, his rate of return has dropped to $3.29 for every dollar of Will’s fee.

This contrasts greatly with the other end of the scale, which saw Shia LaBeouf named as the Best Actor for the Buck in August, earning studios an average of $160 for every dollar he was paid.

Behind Will on the Most Overpaid list was British actor Ewan McGregor, while Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson all made the top ten.

However, Will could turn his box office figures around as he recently revealed he wants to make a sequel to ‘Anchorman’, one of his most successful films to date, about a 1970s newsreader.

The 42-year-old star said: “Yeah we’re trying to figure out when and how we should do that. We’re going to meet with all the guys and see if we can actually pull this off.

“With Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd, they’re in different places with their careers it’s a lot harder to get us all together.”

Although he did add: “And believe me, I’m not taking a pay cut, no way, absolutely not!”

The ‘Ace Ventura: Pet Detective’ actor – who has suffered from the mood disorder since 1994 and admitted to taking prescription drugs – said starring in the heartwarming traditional festive tale helped him to find perspective on  his own life.

He said: “Everybody loves a good transformational story – somebody who sees the light and finds out what’s important in life. It was wonderful to get to the bottom of a character I’ve seen done a hundred different ways.”

Speaking of turning his own life around, Jim, 47, said there is now “more light” since he has banished prescription drugs, switched to a healthy diet and became step-father to his partner Jenny McCarthy’s autistic six year old son Evan.

He explained: “I created tools to help my treatment and I went down a path with some amazing scientific minds who are using supplemental treatments for depression.”

Jim – who plays the role of Scrooge as well as the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future in the film – also said he enjoyed showing Evan the film and sitting with him through it for the first time.

He added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’m so happy to have a beautiful family and to be able to sit there with Evan showing him clips of the movie.

“I took him through the scary parts and told him the ghost was coming and he loved it.”

Jim has previously been married twice, to waitress Melissa Wormer for eight years and ten months to actress Lauren Holly.

The Hollywood funnyman – who was in London’s Leicester Square last night (04.11.09) for the world premiere of his latest film Disney’s ‘A Christmas Carol’, based on the Charles Dickens story – has revealed he wouldn’t want to revisit his past or see into the future even if he had the chance.

He said: “There are some important physicists who now are telling us that all time is happening only once. So I think now is a good time.”

The 47-year-old actor – who was sporting a very full and bushy beard – was joined on the red carpet with his movie co-stars Colin Firth, Bob Hoskins and a host of celebrity guests as the British city was turned into festive spectacle with Christmas trees and fake snow.

He told BANG Showbiz: “This is overwhelming – even for my ego. This is amazing. I’m so happy to be here and to be a part of this. I want to thank the people of Britain for the legacy of Charles Dickens and the chance to tell this story. This story couldn’t be more important now. It’s about the immorality of greed.

“The movie expresses things that Dickens wrote about in a way that has no one ever been seen before. It’s a fantastic story. It’s present for all times.”

Jim portrays the greedy lead character, Ebenezer Scrooge, in the 3D film which also stars Gary Oldman, Cary Elwes and Robin Wright Penn.

The evening broke an Official Guinness World Record for the biggest ever Christmas carol sing-along, as over 7,000 singers – including celebrated tenor Andrea Bocelli – tested their vocal chords.
