Brad Pitt “pretended” his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was “something that it wasn’t”

The ‘Moneyball’ actor – who was married to former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer from 2000 to 2005 – thinks his life before his relationship with Angelina Jolie started to feel “pathetic” because he spent a lot of time smoking marijuana and “hiding”.

He said: “I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.

“I think that my marriage [to Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.” However, the 47-year-old actor, now lives a much happier life with Angelina and their six children – Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six,
Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

He said: “One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh man, I’m so happy to have her.” Brad also reveals he has found being a parent easy because he always trusts his instincts.

He added to Parade magazine: “I was surprised at how automatic it is, how much of it is instinctual. And now I have a great confidence and trust in those instincts. I mean, one sound at night and you’re awake and up because they may need you. Or when they start to have a tantrum, you know to divert them from spinning out by helping them focus on something. It just goes on and on. I tell them, “You can make
a mess, but you’ve got to clean it up.’ ”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have moved into a two-bedroom home

The couple are reportedly renting the small $3 million property in Hollywood after the ‘Hollywood Bosses’ actress sold her lavish Beverly Hills mansion for $38 million.

A source told Us Weekly: “One bedroom is the master and the other is currently furnished as a guest room.

“It is a really romantic house with great views and a warm feeling in every room. If they decide they like it, it’s also for sale.”

According to X17 Online, Jennifer and Justin’s new home boasts hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, a pool, hidden garden and a garage which has been converted into a family room.

The source added: “They’re really excited about it.”

The small property may surprise some people as the couple had been seen viewing a number of mansions to replace the one Jennifer sold, and in late July were looking at up to six a day, including Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi’s house.

In April, the former ‘Friends’ beauty purchased the 17th and 18th floors of an apartment building in New York for more than $7 million.

Jennifer Aniston ordered Brad Pitt out of their house after he admitted he was in love with Angelina Jolie, it has been claimed

The actress had been suspicious about the relationship between her then-husband – who she married in 2000 – and his ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ co-star for a long time before their 2005 separation, but he initially denied they were romantically involved.

The film’s producer Arnon Milchan says in new book ‘Confidential: The Life Of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon Arnon Milchan’: “At first, Jen didn’t believe he was involved with Angelina. She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it.”

The pair went on a pre-planned holiday to the Caribbean with friends Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette to celebrate New Year 2005, but the strain proved too much and Brad confessed he was in love with Angelina, according to Arnon.

He added: “He eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out.”

According to Arnon, Brad only returned to his martial home to collect his belongings before moving into the producer’s house, where he would make a low-key entrance to the film set every day.

The book claims: “Brad drove each day to the set, and everywhere else, on a motorcycle and he wore a wraparound helmet with a tinted visor so no one would recognise him. He stayed with me for the duration of filming.”

Brad split from Jennifer in January 2005 and started a relationship with Angelina just a few months later.

The couple are still together now and raise six children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, together.

The actress – who began dating the actor earlier this year – was introduced to Justin’s documentarian cousin Louis Theroux at exclusive London venue Shoreditch House on Wednesday (20.07.11), following the UK premiere of her new film ‘Horrible Bosses’.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Louis obviously approved of Jennifer. It looked like they were having a great time, and they all seemed instantly at ease with each other. Justin looked proud of Jen and seemed quite manly and protective.”

The trio enjoyed dinner and drinks and another onlooker said the former ‘Friends’ star “was really chilled out and seemed blissfully happy”.

Louis is best known for his Gonzo style journalism on the British television series ‘Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends’ and ‘When Louis Met…’.

Things seem to be getting serious between Jennifer and Justin as the couple are reported to be house-hunting together and have been looking around several Beverly Hills homes.

According to sources, the pair are visiting up to six mansions a day and have even looked at Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s home, which has been on the market since June for a reported $60 million.

Jennifer, 42, recently sold her Beverly Hills mansion for $38 million and is apparently in a “rush to buy” because she has to be out of the property by the end of the month.

The 42-year-old actress took the part of a sex-crazed dentist in the film as it is an unusual part for a woman, and makes a dramatic change from the romantic comedies she has previously appeared in.

Speaking at the film’s European premiere at London’s BFI Southbank, she told BANG Showbiz: “You can’t ever have any regrets. The best thing about playing this role was getting to play an absolute crazy sexual nymphomaniac. Parts like that aren’t written for women that often.”

In the film, Jennifer’s character, Dr. Julia Harris, tries to entice her assistant, Dale – played by Charlie Day – away from his fiancee, in a range of increasingly racy ways, including scenes in which Jennifer was afraid of embarrassing her co-star. She added: “I was constantly apologising to Charlie for what my character was doing to him.”

In one scene Jennifer posed in only a lab coat, underwear and stockings, and Charlie admits he had his work cut out for him, having to act like he wasn’t interested in her. He said: “It’s pretty difficult trying to pretend to not be attracted to Jennifer Aniston. “Red Blooded men aren’t going to sympathise with me, I can tell you that much.”

Also attending the premiere were co-stars Jason Sudekis and Jason Bateman. ‘Horrible Bosses’ is in UK Cinemas from Friday (22.07.11).

The hound loving actress – who starred in canine calamity movie ‘Marley and Me’ in 2008 – has had the name of her beloved pet of 15 years, Norman, tattooed on the inside of her right foot.

Explaining the inking on TV show Entertainment Tonight Canada, she said: “That’s my dog. My baby who just passed away. “I never thought that would ever happen. It’s just my way to pay homage to him – forever.” Norman, a Welsh corgi-terrier mix, accompanied Jennifer, 42, everywhere, including on film location shoots, but he passed away in May due to complications from his old age.

The star – who is currently dating actor Justin Theroux, but has been unlucky in love in the past – has previously stated she wished some of the men in her life had shared some of Norman’s characteristics. She said: “It wouldn’t be bad if, when a man comes home, he’d run to his woman with his tail wagging. The 42-year-old actress – who has a topless scene in new movie ‘Horrible Bosses’ – will receive the accolade at Spike TV’s fifth annual Guys Choice celebration, the channel has confirmed.

Spike TV’s executive vice president Casey Patterson said: “Decade of Hotness is Guys Choice’s ultimate term of endearment for a woman that we just can’t get enough of.”

Jennifer is set to personally accept the award – which has previously been given to stars including Halle Berry and Charlize Theron – during the ceremony, which will be broadcast on Spike TV on June 10.

Voting for the awards is currently open on the channel’s website, with Mila Kunis, Minka Kelly and Mark Wahlberg leading the nominations.

A source told UsMagazine.com: “She shot a topless scene, but producers aren’t sure if they’ll use it. They filmed it two ways in one, you see Jen’s face and boobs in the same shot. In another, the audience might think it’s a body double.”

The ‘Just Go With It’ star has denied ever going under the knife to enhance her looks but she won’t rule out having a procedure when she reaches 50 because of the pressure to look good in Hollywood.

The 41-year-old actress said: “I think there is an extreme pressure on women and men to just stay young and unfortunately men and women don’t see it to grow old gracefully.

“A lot of women go too far and end up looking a hell of a lot older than they actually are and it sort of has a reverse effect. So talk to me in 10 years.”

Taylor Lautner has beaten his ‘Twilight’ co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in 2010’s Hollywood Top 40 Earners List

Compiled by Vanity Fair magazine, the rankings revealed the 18-year-old actor raked in an estimated $33.5 million for his various movie appearances throughout 2010, making him the ninth-highest earner in Hollywood.

As well as pushing last year’s number nine Robert Downey Jr. into tenth place, Taylor beat both Kristen and Robert – who received $28.5 million and $27.5 million for their respective film roles over the past 12 months – who landed in 13th and 14th places.

Vanity Fair’s contributing editor Peter Newcomb explained: “He’s perhaps the highest-paid teenage star right now. When they first negotiated their contracts, they were getting paid a lot less.

“Then, with the immense success of the film, the agents went back and renegotiated the deal – Lautner’s deal in particular was really bumped up.”

With ‘Avatar‘ director and producer James Cameron securing the top spot in the rankings with an estimated yearly earning of $257 million, Johnny Depp – who raked in $100 million in 2010 – was listed as the highest-earning actor, taking home $40 million for his role as the Mad Hatter in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ alone.

However, despite being pipped to the post by her ‘Twilight’ co-star, Kristen Stewart’s estimated $28.5 million earnings made her the highest-ranking female star in 2010.

The 41-year-old actress believes the secret to good skin is staying hydrated and she feels an instant impact if she fails to consume enough liquid.

She said: “I don’t really have any beauty tips but drink a s**tload of water. I say, if anything, that’s the one thing I’ve noticed with my skin. If I stop drinking water, I dehydrate badly, and I get cranky. Water really works.”

Kristen Stewart and the ‘Twilight Saga’ were the big winners at last night’s (05.01.11) People’s Choice Awards

The 20-year-old actress beat the likes of Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie to win Favourite Movie Actress, while ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, the latest instalment in the vampire film franchise – in which Kristen plays Bella Swan – picked up three awards, including Favourite Movie.

Surpassing ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Inception’ for the gong, ‘Eclipse’ also won Favourite Drama Movie and Favourite On-Screen Team – for Kristen, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner – at the event, which was held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.

Kristen said: “Thank you so much, I’ve never been to the People’s Choice Awards before.”

However, Kristen’s boyfriend and co-star Robert – who plays Edward Cullen in the vampire franchise – wasn’t able to match her success, and was beaten to Favourite Movie Actor by Johnny Depp, who was awarded the coveted accolade for his role as the Mad Hatter in ‘Alice In Wonderland’.

Meanwhile, Zac Efron, 23, also beat the 24-year-old hunk to the title of Favourite Movie Star Under 25.

Elsewhere, Rihanna and Eminem also proved to be big winners on the night, taking home dual gongs for Favourite Song and Favourite Music Video for their summer hit ‘Love The Way You Lie’, while Rihanna took home Favourite Pop Artist.

The rapper further cemented his comeback to the music industry by winning Favourite Male Artist and Favourite Hip-Hop Artist.

Angelina Jolie wants to move to Africa in the future

The ‘Tourist’ star – who raises six children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, five, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with her partner Brad Pitt – plans to move her brood to the continent when she decides to accept less acting work.

She said: “I can imagine in the years to come that I might slow down on the work front. It’s not that I’d be retiring, there just might be fewer films at some point. “The truth is I’d love to live in Africa at some point. I’d love to  spend more time flying planes. And artistically, there will be other things to do.”

The 35-year-old actress has also revealed she doesn’t think she and Brad, 46, will make another film together, because they are never
offered joint projects. The couple famously met and fell in love on the set of 2005 action movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith“, while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Angelina added: “We don’t get offered a lot of films together. We discuss it because there’s always a girl in his film or a guy in mine. On one hand, we’d love to work together and bring the kids with us on that adventure.

“As much as we’d like to indulge as artists and play together, we’d only do it if the movie could be fun for the fans.”

Jennifer Aniston hosted a Mexican-themed Thanksgiving bash for 15 friends

The 41-year-old actress is said to have flown a group of close pals out on two private jets to her lavish estate in the Mexican resort of Cabo San Lucas, where they spent the holiday (25.11.10) “eating, drinking and relaxing”.

While the ‘Bounty Hunter’ star indulged in plenty of food and drink during the break, she also made sure she worked out every day.

An onlooker told People magazine: “Jennifer spent the trip enjoying herself with her friends – relaxing, drinking and eating. But she also worked out every day, including yoga sessions with Mandy Ingber.

“She looked amazingly fit and seemed to have a great time just relaxing and hanging out with her friends.”

The star’s yoga coach Mandy – as well as her manager Aleen Keshishian and chat show host Chelsea Handler – were reportedly just some of the guests flown out to Mexico for the bash, where they enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal that included chips, salsas and margaritas.

Despite being known for her strict diet and exercise regime, Jennifer recently admitted she is a big fan of Mexican cuisine.

When quizzed on what she would have for her last meal, she said: “It’d be chips and guacamole, quesadillas, enchiladas and a big tostada salad – and nachos!”

Jennifer Aniston is set to be the subject of a reality TV show

The former ‘Friends’ actress – who has dated stars including Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and Paul Sculfor since divorcing Brad Pitt – has reportedly been approached by former MTV programming president Tony DiSanto and ex-senior vice president Liz Gateley about featuring in a fly-on-the-wall series for their new production company.

A source said: “Jen’s a really private person, so everyone will want to know the real her.

“Viewers would kill to see how she goes about her day-to-day life, what she really eats and get an insight into her love life.

“Tony and Liz are renowned for their skill at making reality shows like ‘The Hills’ and ‘Jersey Shore’. They’ve been desperate to work with her but weren’t too sure what she’d say. Jen is giving it some thought though.”

According to the insider, the ‘Bounty Hunter’ star is giving the offer serious consideration, but will only agree if the show gives off the image she wants to promote.

The source added to Now magazine: “Let’s face it, her career isn’t going as well as many expected and anything Liz and Tony touch turns to gold.

“It’s just about coming up with the right show that doesn’t make her look foolish.”

‘Twilight’ leads nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Awards.

The vampire movie franchise’s third instalment ‘Eclipse‘ dominated the award’s movie categories when they were announced yesterday (09.12.20) with eight nods including Favourite Movie, Favourite Movie Actor for stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and Favourite Movie Actress for Kristen Stewart, among others.

The awards also honour Music and Television stars, and the nominations saw Eminem and Usher included in the Favourite Male Artist category, while Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are all in the running for Favourite Female Artist.

Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber are both nominated for Favourite Breakout Artist, alongside B.o.B.,

Kesha and Selena Gomez and the Scene.

Upon hearing of her nomination, Selena tweeted: “Oh my gosh!!!! I am so excited you guys nominated me and The Scene for this year’s People’s Choice Award! (sic)”

TV show ‘Glee’ picks up a nomination in the Favourite TV Comedy category alongside ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Modern Family’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Winners of the People’s Choice Awards 2011 will be revealed during a live broadcast from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on January 5 next year.

Jennifer Aniston loves “the feeling of having butterflies” in her stomach which comes with falling in love

The former ‘Friends’ actress – who has in recent years had a string of unsuccessful relationships with several famous men, including actor Vice Vaughn and musician John Mayer – admits the initial feeling of falling for someone is still her favourite thing, and she hasn’t given up on finding the right man.

She said: “I love the feeling of having butterflies in my stomach. Love is the greatest challenge for all of us. You can’t control love, you don’t even choose it. On the contrary, I think love chooses you, you need to be open to love. I am, I think it should be spontaneous.”

The 41-year-old actress insists she isn’t affected by media speculation about her love life, and insists she actually enjoys reading rumours about herself in magazines.

She added in an interview in Britain’s OK! magazine: “I love reading about what my love life is like! I’ve been dealing with speculation about virtually every aspect of my personal life for years. I’ve grown indifferent to all stories. So much gets written that it begins to turn off the public and people stop believing all the c**p.”

Jennifer does her best to live “as quietly” as she can, and credits yoga with helping her “both physically and emotionally”.

Jennifer Aniston hopes close friend Courteney Cox-Arquette doesn’t rush into divorce

The 41-year-old actress – who was previously married to Brad Pitt – has been supporting her pal throughout her separation from David Arquette but is said to have been urging the couple to work through their difficulties rather than split for good.

An insider explained to gossip website PopEater: “Jen has known for some time that the couple were in trouble but hoped and prayed they would be able to work it out. No one knows how painful divorce is more than Jen and she hopes they don’t rush into it without exhausting every possibility to say together.

“Goodness knows Courteney supported Jen during her break-up with Brad. Now it’s Jen’s turn to be supportive. After all, isn’t that what a friend is for.”

Meanwhile, those working alongside the couple on their upcoming movie ‘Scream 4’ have admitted relations between the two were strained throughout filming, but they put on a united front for the sake of their six-year-old daughter Coco.

A set source told People magazine: “It seemed like the worst-kept secret that things were weird between them. This was not an overnight thing. They needed to figure things out and try to find a happy place again.”

Courteney and David announced on Monday (11.10.10) that they had agreed to try a “trial separation” several months ago.
