Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were “constantly touching and kissing” on a night out on Friday (07.01.11)

The pair – who ended their five-year romance last month – fuelled rumours they have reunited with their flirty behaviour at the opening of SHG’s Eden Hollywood when they arrived with mutual friend Brittany Snow late in the evening.

A source told People magazine: “Vanessa was bopping around with her arms up while Zac had his hands all over her. Vanessa had a smile on from ear to ear and the two were inseparable after that.”

Following their public display of affection on the dancefloor, Zac, 23, and 22-year-old Vanessa then retreated to a table – and grew even more affectionate.

The insider explained: “Zac sat in between her legs and she wrapped her arms around him. They were making out on and off for the last hour or so until closing. They acted like there was no one else in the room.”

The former couple narrowly escaped being pictured together but as the ‘17 Again’ hunk leaned in for a kiss, Vanessa pushed him away after spotting a fellow reveller with a cameraphone.

However, a source said: “They were kissing on the lips and seemed to be enjoying their night. They seem to be back together.”

When news of Zac and Vanessa’s break-up was announced last month, pals insisted the separation was mutual and they were still “good friends”.

The pair met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will get back together, according to their friends.

The couple – who met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ – recently ended their four-year romance after growing apart but their pals are hopeful it won’t be long until they reconcile.

One friend told Hollywoodlife.com: “They realise that they both can trust each other, and there will be a bond between them forever. Career demands, distance and wanting to enjoy being single are the main reasons for the break-up. I’d be shocked if they don’t get back together someday.”

While they may no longer be an item, Zac, 23, and 21-year-old Vanessa are still close and spending a lot of time together.

The source added: “They have hung out with each other as recently as two weeks ago and will continue to hang out, since they are best friends.”

The break-up is said to have been amicable and the pair just realised it was time to end things.

One friend said: “They are still talking and still friends. There’s no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up.”

Zac recently gushed about his relationship with Vanessa but admitted he was pleased they didn’t live together.

He said: “When we’re filming we spend a lot of time apart, but that’s what keeps it fresh you know? Also, when you’re working you need to be really focused. At least I like to be focused so that time away is important. Then when you come back it’s better than ever.”

Zac Efron has promised to strip naked in a film – when he is fat

The Hollywood heartthrob is prepared to reveal all on the big screen, just not in the way his legions of female fans are hoping for. When asked if he would strip off for a movie, he said: “It would be funny to become fat first and then get naked in front of the camera.

“For the right role I would probably do almost anything. I think I would go quite far.”

Although Zac is happy to have so many women as fans, he doesn’t let all the attention inflate his ego or allow himself to think he is irresistible to the opposite sex.

The 22-year-old actor – who achieved worldwide fame through his role as Troy Bolton in the ‘High School Musical’ movies – added in an interview with German newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt: “When girls scream it’s not an acknowledgement you should let get to your head.

It’s exciting and a thrilling experience but you shouldn’t pride yourself on it. I don’t come home at night thinking I’m heaven-knows-who just because they start screaming. When I work hard for something it’s easier to accept the acknowledgment for that. “This exaltation was just there and will disappear again.

Vanessa Hudgens finds Zac Efron’s beard too itchy when they kiss

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ actor is presently sporting new facial hair, but says it hasn’t been such a big hit with girlfriend Vanessa, as he’s always scratching her face.

When asked about his beard at the premiere of ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ in London’s Leicester Square last night (16.09.10), Zac said: “Well Vanessa finds it very itchy when I kiss her.”

Modest Zac, 22, also admitted he doesn’t feel his facial fuzz quite matches up to that grown by ‘Twilight’ heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who recently cultivated a more rugged look ahead of taking a road trip across the US.

When asked whose mane was thicker, Zac told BANG Showbiz: “Probably Rob’s.”

Zac also told of his desire to work alongside more British actors, saying he’d sign up to star alongside “anyone from RocknRolla” - Guy Ritchie’s 2008 gangster film featuring Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Tom Wilkinson and Tom Hardy - in a heartbeat.

Augustus Prew – Zac’s co-star in ‘Charlie St. Cloud’- said he got the opportunity to spend some time with the former ‘High School Musical’ actor and Vanessa when making the film in Canada, and they appeared very much in love.

He said: “We were up filming in Vancouver, and Vanessa was also in British Columbia shooting ‘Sucker Punch’, so she came over and my girlfriend was there too, and we all hung out.

“Zac and Vanessa are the sweetest couple, they are so in love.”

The handsome actor – who is in a long-term relationship with his ‘High School Musical’ co-star Vanessa Hudgens - used to have such a big crush on the model-turned-TV star he would spend hours just staring at a poster of her he had stuck to his ceiling.

He explained to LOOK magazine: “When I was younger I used to lie on my bed and look up at a poster of Tyra Banks on my ceiling. She was in the Victoria’s Secret catalogues that my mom used to get and I thought she was the most gorgeous thing in the world.

“I love girls with dark features, but when I went to Sweden I saw the most incredible natural blondes that I’ve ever seen.”

The 22-year-old Hollywood hunk also revealed he likes to try and be romantic with Vanessa, 21, and enjoys cooking for her even though he isn’t great in the kitchen.

Zac Efron reportedly spent more than $2,000 on lap dancers and vodka at a New York strip club.

The actor and two male friends – including his ‘High School Musical’ co-star Corbin Bleu – visited Flashdancers Gentlemen’s Club on Broadway on Sunday night (25.07.10) and stayed until 3am.

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ star – who has been dating actress Vanessa Hudgens since 2005 – is said to have requested dances from three pretty brunettes.

A witness at the club told the New York Post newspaper: “Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were dancing.

“They ordered one bottle of Belvedere vodka and were enthralled with the dancers. They were interacting a lot with the girls and reaching out and showering money on them. There were three girls who Zac and his friends particularly liked and they asked to do personal dances at their table.”

The source continued: “The girls were all slim pretty brunettes, a bit like Zac’s girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens. They were two Americans, called Shannon and Brandi, and a gorgeous Brazilian called Raquel.

“Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3am.”

The next day Zac attended the New York premiere for his new movie ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ – in which he stars alongside Kim Basinger.

Zac Efron has no plans to marry Vanessa Hudgens.

The 22-year-old star – who began dating the brunette beauty after they met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005 – doesn’t want the “pressure” of making an official commitment to their relationship until he is much older.

He said: “No, I’m not going to get married for a while.

“I think I’ve always said I’m not going to get married ’til I’m 30. I’m going to wait. I wouldn’t want that kind of commitment or pressure at this point.”

The Californian hunk recently admitted the reason his five-year relationship with 21-year-old Vanessa has worked so well is because they have kept it private and try not to let attention bother them too much.

The ‘High School Musical’ star – who has been dating her co-star in the Disney movie series for the last four years – admits she is grateful they started their careers together.

She said: “We got lucky because we started off together, so I think people like us because they fell in love with our characters. Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable. I mean, he wasn’t the guy that he is today. Like, he had a gap in his teeth. He was a whole different person.”

Despite the early chemistry between Vanessa and Zac, the 21-year-old actress-and-singer isn’t ready to take their relationship to the next level and move in with the ‘17 Again’ star.

Courteney Cox-Arquette thinks Zac Efron would be a “perfect” boyfriend for an older lady.

The ‘Cougar Town’ actress – who plays Jules Cobb, a woman who dates younger men in the US drama series – believes the ‘High School Musical’ hunk is a prime target for other ‘cougars’, despite thinking he is too “confident” to be seduced.

Asked what defines a ‘cougar’, Courteney – who is married to actor David Arquette – said: “My husband’s seven years younger than me so I must be a cougar older women have more experience.
“Zac Efron would be perfect, but he probably has too much confidence to be real prey for a cougar. You know you’re a cougar when you’re attracted to your son’s friends.”

A Robert Pattinson waxwork has been unveiled.

The ‘Remember Me’ actor has become the latest star to be immortalised with a lookalike at London’s Madame Tussauds, and some of his fans were invited to a VIP unveiling to meet the imitation this morning (25.03.10).

Robert fan Katie Sear said: “The figure looks really great! Just like him – his hair is spot on. It’s amazing, almost like meeting the real thing! I’m sure people are going to love it; he is just gorgeous.”

The waxwork has the trademark messy hair and narrow-eyed expression of the real Robert, and museum organisers are in no doubts that he will quickly become one of their hottest attractions.

Madame Tussauds’ spokesperson Liz Edwards said: “Pattinson is one of the hottest celebs on the planet. We are delighted to be able to give them the chance to cosy up with their idol here at Madame Tussauds and judging by the reactions of the first to meet him here this morning he is set to top our “most kissed list of celebrities very quickly!”

Robert’s waxwork took four months to make and cost £150,000.

Last year, ‘High School Musical’ hunk Zac Efron was named as having the “most kissable” waxwork at the London attraction, narrowly beating competition from politician Boris Johnson and ‘Alice in Wonderland’ actor Johnny Depp.

Zac Efron thinks Robert Pattinson is “amazing”.

The ‘High School Musical’ actor is a big admirer of the ‘Twilight’ hunk and is particularly impressed with the way the 23-year-old British star is handling his fame.

He said: “He’s absolutely amazing. I think he’s making great choices. I think he’s handling it all really well, but you know, he’s a superstar. He really deserves all this.”

The 22-year-old actor arrived at the Academy Awards last night (07.03.10) without girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, but says she wants his support when she picks up the ShoWest Star of Tomorrow Award in Las Vegas later this month.

However, Zac is unsure whether he can trust himself in the city, which is famed as a gambling and partying haven.

A guest at the party said: “When she walked in she was completely surprised!”

The ‘High School Musical’ star – who became a teenage heartthrob after appearing in the Disney movie franchise – would love to try his hand at as a screen hero but fears his career could be over if the role wasn’t perfect.

He said: “I would love to try an action film at some point, but not too soon. I think that can be a kiss of death. There’s got to be a real role that I can bring something unique and specific to, a way for me to do it believably. Until then, I think it would just come across as weird.”

The 22-year-old star also revealed he is in awe of actor Leonardo DiCaprio – despite disliking him when he was growing up.

The ‘Me and Orson Welles’ actor – who is best known for his role as clean-cut student Troy Bolton in the ‘High School Musical’ franchise – loves the series of films about the iconic British spy and wants a role in the next addition in the franchise, which currently stars Daniel Craig as the lead character.

He said: “I’m a huge James Bond fan. I’d love to be a Bond baddie. I’ve seen pretty much every Bond film. Sean Connery is my favourite and I really like ‘Goldeneye’ with Pierce Brosnan.”

The ‘High School Musical’ actor was shooting new movie ‘Me and Orson Wells’ on the Isle of Man – a small island located in the Irish Sea between Britain and Ireland – and was stunned to discover his legion of female fans had even managed to hunt him down there.

He said: “I was looking forward to that seclusion. From what I heard it was a pretty quiet place and there weren’t a lot of people there. But they found it. But I felt pretty welcome.”

Zac – who plays a teenage student who, by luck, gets to work with a young Orson Welles, the acclaimed American writer and director, in the coming-of-age drama – said: “I was looking for that opportunity, something fresh.”

Zac wasn’t concerned his large, mostly teen fan base, wouldn’t have heard of Orson Welles.

He said: “Perhaps the fans that don’t know about Orson maybe have more of an opinion now when they study this stuff at school… some insight into the early life of this American icon.”

The ‘High School Musical’ star is ready to move away from the musical roles which have catapulted him to fame and try something different in London’s famous theatre district.

Speaking at the premiere of his new film ‘Me and Orson Welles’ in London’s Leicester Square last night (18.11.09), he told BANG Showbiz: “I would love to if I could find the right opportunity, I think it’s a matter of time to be honest but I don’t know, I just want to make a break, so it’s harder to be very specific.”

In coming-of-age-drama ‘Me and Orson Welles’, Zac plays a teenage student who, by luck, gets to work with a young Orson Welles – the acclaimed American writer and director, who is played by Hollywood newcomer Christian McKay in the movie.

Zac – who spent time meeting his dedicated fans while walking the red carpet yesterday evening – revealed he gave Christian acting advice on set.

He said: “He had like small questions here and there. But he is a quick student that guy, in a matter of weeks he had completely transformed, he just fully immersed himself in a way that I can’t even do.”
