Jessica And Gerard — Biking

by Abbey on Jun.07, 2011, under Dating

Jessica BielJessica Biel has been spotted riding on the back of Gerard Butler’s motorbike – fuelling speculation they are dating

The pair have reportedly become close since shooting romantic comedy ‘Playing the Field’ together, and they were seen at the end of last week riding along the Pacific Coast Highway in California.

Jessica and Gerard were wearing leather jackets and boots paired with sunglasses, and the actress tightly held onto the actor’s waist as they drove around the Topanga Canyon.

This is not the first time the pair have been seen out together. The two stars were recently spotted enjoying a cosy dinner at a Japanese restaurant in Louisiana, during which they sat side-by-side.

Jessica, 29, and Gerard have a history of being romantically linked to their co-stars.

The 41-year-old actor was rumoured to have dated Jennifer Aniston when they starred alongside one another in ‘The Bounty Hunter’, while the 29-year-old actress – who split from Justin Timberlake earlier this year – was previously linked to Edward Norton after they starred in ‘The Illusionist’.

Why Vanessa Hudgens Finds Zac Efron’s Beard 2 Itchy?

by Kavy on Sep.17, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Entertainment, Kisses

Zac EfronVanessa Hudgens finds Zac Efron’s beard too itchy when they kiss

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ actor is presently sporting new facial hair, but says it hasn’t been such a big hit with girlfriend Vanessa, as he’s always scratching her face.

When asked about his beard at the premiere of ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ in London’s Leicester Square last night (16.09.10), Zac said: “Well Vanessa finds it very itchy when I kiss her.”

Modest Zac, 22, also admitted he doesn’t feel his facial fuzz quite matches up to that grown by ‘Twilight’ heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who recently cultivated a more rugged look ahead of taking a road trip across the US.

When asked whose mane was thicker, Zac told BANG Showbiz: “Probably Rob’s.”

Zac also told of his desire to work alongside more British actors, saying he’d sign up to star alongside “anyone from RocknRolla” - Guy Ritchie’s 2008 gangster film featuring Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Tom Wilkinson and Tom Hardy - in a heartbeat.

Augustus Prew – Zac’s co-star in ‘Charlie St. Cloud’- said he got the opportunity to spend some time with the former ‘High School Musical’ actor and Vanessa when making the film in Canada, and they appeared very much in love.

He said: “We were up filming in Vancouver, and Vanessa was also in British Columbia shooting ‘Sucker Punch’, so she came over and my girlfriend was there too, and we all hung out.

“Zac and Vanessa are the sweetest couple, they are so in love.”

‘Charlie St. Cloud’ is released across Europe at the beginning of October.

Gerard Butler — Celebrity 2 Find Fame In A Toilet..?

by Abbey on Sep.05, 2010, under Actor, Entertainment, Films

Gerard ButlerGerard Butler has his own shrine – in a public toilet in America

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ actor has become so popular in Melvindale, Michigan, that a local store is giving tours around the bathroom, because the Scottish hunk once relieved himself there.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: “Turns out the place where the locals go to have a brush with fame is located in the back room of the Ace Sprinkler Company – and it’s the store’s one and only toilet!

Gerard, who’s in the Detroit area shooting ‘Machine Gun Preacher’, stopped to the use the restroom one day and later posed for pictures
with the owner’s two daughters. Once he went back to work, the gals invited all their friends to take a tour of the place where he relieved himself, and it’s been the talk of the town ever since!”

Gerard is not the only celebrity to find fame in a toilet. ‘Inception’ actor Leonardo DiCaprio recently had to hide in a public bathroom after soccer fans watching the World Cup in South Africa saw him pop into the room. The toilet cubicle was suddenly inundated with members of the public desperate to catch a glimpse of the star.

Brad Pitt & Megan Fox — Top 10 celebrities people’s partners…sleep with?

by Kavy on Sep.02, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Entertainment, Model, Singer, Sportsman

Brad PittBrad Pitt and Megan Fox have topped a list of stars people would allow their partners to sleep with

The Hollywood stars were voted into the top spot after UK couples were asked which celebrities their partners would let them sleep with without classing it as cheating, known as a ‘list’.

Joining Brad on the ‘allowed’ list for women were ‘Alice in Wonderland’ actor Johnny Depp, ‘300’ star Gerard Butler, soccer ace David Beckham and ‘Twilight Saga’ hunk Robert Pattinson.

Male respondents opted for Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his current partner Angelina Jolie, who were named second and fifth respectively, with Beyonce Knowles and Jessica Alba taking third and fourth place respectively.

Mark Pearson, Managing Director of Groupola.com, which conducted the survey of 1,198 couples, said: “I think that having a ‘list’ in a relationship is fine, as long as they are taken in jest and feelings aren’t hurt.

“Although, I do wonder if any of the respondents would ever actually follow through with their ‘list’. I can’t help but think that even if people were confronted with the situation whilst in a serious relationship, they would probably shy away from it!”

by Abbey on Aug.19, 2010, under Actor, Award, Entertainment, Films

Robert Pattinson has been named the world’s sexiest man

The ‘Twilight‘ hunk has topped Glamour’s 50 Sexiest Men poll for the second year running, after fighting off stiff competition from other actors starring in vampire-based productions.

The top five was dominated by ‘Twilight’ actors, with 18-year-old Taylor Lautner – who plays Jacob Black, the werewolf love rival to Robert’s character Edward Cullen in the hit film franchise –in second place, and Xavier Samuel and Kellan Lutz placed fourth and fifth respectively.

The hunky trio were rivalled by ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Ian Somerhalder, who was voted third in the survey, proving that women can’t get enough of men with fangs.

Glamour’s acting editor Charlotte Duck said: “Women are attracted to vampires because of the element of danger that comes with them. They are the ultimate bad boys – and women want to tame the beasts.”

The list – which was compiled from over 50,000 votes by readers of Glamour.com – also included many shocks, with many attractive stars being placed further down the list than in previous years.

Johnny Depp dropped from second place to sixth, while soccer star David Beckham slipped from fourth down to 21st.

Hollywood legend George Clooney only reached position 35 on the list, while Leonardo DiCaprio, Keanu Reeves and Jude Law- who have scored highly in the survey in recent years – did not even feature.

Gerard Butler Image Collection

by Alice on Aug.09, 2010, under Actor, Films, Gallery, TV, updates

Gerard Butler (born 13 November 1969) is a Scottish actor, who has appeared on film, stage, and television. A trained lawyer, he turned to acting in the mid-1990s with small roles in English productions such as the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), which he followed with steady work on television, most notably in the American miniseries Attila (2001).

He garnered critical acclaim for his breakthrough work as the lead in Joel Schumacher’s 2004 film adaptation of the musical The Phantom of the Opera. In 2007, he gained worldwide recognition through his portrayal of King Leonidas in the film 300. Since then, he has appeared in projects including P.S. I Love You (2007), Nim’s Island (2008), RocknRolla (2008), The Ugly Truth (2009), Gamer (2009), Law Abiding Citizen (2009) and The Bounty Hunter (2010). He was recently in Belgrade, Serbia filming Coriolanus.

In London, Gerard held a series of odd jobs until being cast by actor and director Steven Berkoff in a stage production of Coriolanus. He was cast as Ewan McGregor’s character Renton in the stage adaptation of Trainspotting, the same play that had inspired him to become an actor. His film debut was as Billy Connolly’s younger brother in Mrs. Brown (1997).

Gerard’s film career continued with small roles, first in the James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and then Russell Mulcahy’s Tale of the Mummy (1998). In 2000, Butler was cast in two breakthrough roles, the first being Attila the Hun in USA film Attila (2001/I) (TV). The film’s producers wanted a known actor to play the part but kept coming back to Gerard’s screen tests and decided he was their man. He was cast as Dracula in Dracula 2000.

Gerard then appeared in Reign of Fire (2002) as Creedy and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003) as Terry Sheridan, alongside Angelina Jolie. In the role of Andre Marek in the big-screen adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel Timeline (2003), Butler played an archaeologist who was sent back in time with a team of students to rescue a colleague.

Robbie Williams – Raising Funds For Haiti Victims

by Alice on Apr.14, 2010, under Charity, Singer

Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams was humbled by the plight of “vulnerable” child victims of the Haiti earthquakes.

The ‘Angels’ hitmaker – who is visiting the disaster-stricken country in his position as an ambassador for UNICEF, (United Nations International Children’s Fund) – met children affected by January’s natural disasters and was visibly moved by the squalid conditions in which they have to live.

He said: “I met children who were injured, who had been separated from their parents and were living in temporary shelters or on the streets. This earthquake hit children the hardest. The children are so vulnerable.”

The 36-year-old singer admitted he was outraged by the “risk of violence” which child refugees now face everyday.

He said: “They’re living day-to-day without the basic things they need and at risk of violence and abuse. I don’t know about you, but I think this is wrong and we need to put it right.”

The emotional star is also launching a special challenge for Soccer Aid – a star-studded sports event which takes place on June 6 and raises money for UNICEF – on his return from the trip, called ‘Keep It Up For Soccer Aid’.

The ‘You Know Me’ singer is asking people to be sponsored for the number of ‘keepy-uppys’ – juggling a football with various parts of the body without letting it fall on the floor – they can do in aid of the organisation.

Speaking of the challenge, Robbie added: “It’s really simple, do as many sponsored keepy-uppys as you can to make a real difference to the lives of children.”

Other stars who have visited Haiti include Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Demi Moore and Gerard Butler.

Gerard Butler Didn’t Feel “Scottish enough”

by Kavy on Mar.28, 2010, under Actor

Gerard ButlerGerard Butler didn’t feel “Scottish enough” for his new movie.

The actor voices a Viking in new animated adventure ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ and although he believes his natural dialect was perfect for the role, he worried it had softened too much from living in America.

He said: “This was the only movie that I’ve ever made or will make that, after watching it for the first time, made me realise that my accent was not Scottish enough. I was like, ‘What is that?’ I was stuck in the middle, so I felt that it needed a bit more.

“I think a strong Celtic accent lends itself to Viking-ness, or any kind of warrior breed. It was the same in ‘300’ as well.”

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ actor also revealed he enjoyed the freedom of working on an animated movie because he didn’t have to wear costumes that would make him the subject of ridicule.

He explained: “It’s freeing, in the way that you’re not constrained by false beards and uncomfortable costumes, and you can do what you want in there. You don’t have to look at 150 extras, who you know are sitting there going, ‘What the f**k are you talking about? You look like an idiot whose wearing leather underpants.’”

Sexual Paranoia – Gerard Butler

by Alice on Mar.11, 2010, under Actor

Gerard ButlerGerard Butler is “paranoid” about having sex.

The Scottish actor – who has been romantically linked to his ‘Bounty Hunter’ co-star Jennifer Aniston in recent months – admits he is afraid anyone he sleeps with will go on to sell their story so is much more cautious about his behaviour.

Referring to golfer Tiger Woods – whose extra-marital affairs have been recently made public – he said: “I get laid less now than I used to, because I’m way more paranoid now. Look at f***ing Tiger Woods!

“I mean, I’m nowhere near as naughty as I used to be, partly because I did a lot of that when I was drinking.”

However, the ‘P.S. I Love You’ star hasn’t curbed his behaviour completely – he is just more discreet.

He told Men’s Health magazine: “I’m not saying I’ve cut that part out. I’m certainly no angel. There’s no smoke without fire. But here’s the thing: While they’re accusing me of that, I’ve probably been off somewhere else doing damage with someone else. I’m pretty smart like that.”

The 40-year-old star also feels he is addicted to “anxiety” and can’t help but create stressful situations for himself.

He said: “I was born into a world of anxiety… I am slightly addicted to anxiety. When I’m feeling anxious, I’ll create more anxiety for myself.

“Like I might call all these people about what’s fun to do tonight and end up with four different options, which in itself would put me into a blind panic; but then I’ll make another four calls just to make it 10 times more anxiety-ridden.”

Gerard Butler Voted The Best British Actor In Hollywood

by Alice on Nov.21, 2009, under Actor

Gerard Butler

The Scottish hunk – who is best known for playing King Leonidas in ‘300’ – beat a host of stars, including Christian Bale and double-Oscar winner Daniel Day Lewis to win the title in a poll of more than 1,000 UK film fans by the DVD rental service LoveFilm.

‘Revolutionary Road’ actress Kate Winslet – who managed to land forth place – was one of only two women to feature in the top ten.

‘Twilight’ actor Robert Pattinson came seventh despite the huge popularity of the vampire franchise.

Helen Cowley, the editor at LoveFilm, believes the poll shows 40-year-old Gerard had got “some real bite in Hollywood”.

She said: “And even though Robert Pattinson is getting some deserved attention, it’s the older generation of actors that still have sway in Hollywood.”

Gerard has previously spoken about how he walked away from his career as a solicitor when he was just weeks away from qualifying to pursue his acting dream.

He said: “You have to understand that I was completely out of control. If I hadn’t been so lost and insane, I’d still be a lawyer.”

Mel Gibson Was Not Tall Enough To Play James Bond

by cyan on Nov.10, 2009, under Actor

Mel Gibson

The ‘Braveheart’ star’s 5ft 9in frame was deemed unsuitable to make a convincing portrayal of the iconic British spy – who is currently played by Daniel Craig – while producer Albert R ‘Cubby’ Broccoli was also concerned that he was too famous for the role.

Scriptwriter Tom Mankiewicz -  who wrote James Bond favourites ‘The Man With The Golden Gun’ and ‘Live And Let Die’ – said: “At one point Mel Gibson wanted to play Bond. And Cubby was against it. Cubby first of all had a thing about tall people.

“Bond had to be tall. And so Mel Gibson was too short. But he was a big star.

“Somebody at United Artists said to me, ‘Call him and tell him Mel Gibson would be great.’ And Cubby said, ‘I don’t want to make a Mel Gibson movie, I want to make a James Bond movie.’”

While Mel was desperate to portray James Bond, fellow Hollywood star Gerard Butler recently insisted he would never want to take on the role.

He said:”I enjoy doing an array of films. If I was to play Bond, that would quickly stop. How likely would I be accepted doing those roles after having played Bond?

“People outside of movies think it would be amazing to play 007, but as an actor you think, ‘Well I don’t know because from then on…’

“You do a lot of movies as Bond and you’d become even more synonymous with the role. I think Daniel Craig is a great Bond and good for him, but I would much rather create a role from nothing.”

Gerard Butler Confused In Love

by cyan on Nov.06, 2009, under Actor

Gerard Butler

The Scottish actor – who has been romantically linked to beauties Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson – says there is no pattern to the type of women he dates but they are usually “too crazy” for him to handle.

He explained: “I don’t know because often I feel that I meet a girl that is unexpected. There is no rhyme or reason. I always thought I don’t want a girl who is too crazy, too much for me, and then I meet a girl who is crazy and I go, ‘Wow, she is amazing.’

“But I can’t ever give a definite kind of woman because there are different things in different women I might like. I might like a girl who is gentle and innocent, but then again I might like a woman who is more statuesque and strong and powerful, it’s the polar opposites. It just depends on the moment, on the person, on magic.”

As he approaches his 40th birthday next Friday (13.11.09), ‘The Bounty Hunter’ hunk has been forced to consider his future as he eventually wants to settle down and start a family.

He explained to Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: “Right now I question a bunch of things in my life and I am in a lot of ways more comfortable than ever. I know what still excites me, what can excite me and what is just never going to happen.

“But then also there are things I have different opinions on. Sometimes I think, ‘God, I wish I was married now, had kids’. Other times I think, ‘Thank Christ I am not married and don’t have kids yet. I can do that later.’

“But I can totally imagine it. It’s just not right now. I am great where I am at but it would be nice. It doesn’t have to be marriage. It could be to be in a relationship and I would definitely like kids some day.”

Gerard Butler Was “insane” When He Became An Actor

by cyan on Nov.01, 2009, under Actor

Gerard Butler

The ‘Law Abiding Citizen’ star turned his back on a fledgling career as a solicitor when he was just weeks away from qualifying in order to pursue his Hollywood dream, but admits he wasn’t in his right mind when he did so.

He told the December issue of Britain’s Men’s Health magazine: “You have to understand that I was completely out of control. If I hadn’t been so lost and insane, I’d still be a lawyer. I said to myself, I’m aiming for the stars. I’ll worry about the details later.”

The 39-year-old star admits he had reached a low point in his life when he made the decision, but is overjoyed with how his life has turned out.

He said: “That was the worst day of my life, now it’s the best.”

The ‘P.S. I Love You’ actor credits a stroke of luck with helping him achieve success, but insists he wouldn’t have made it if he didn’t work hard.

He explained: “The universe conspires. Once you decide to do something, the universe starts to help you.

“There are a lot of people who are really talented, and I can see they’re not going to make it because they don’t work hard enough.”

Gerard recently admitted he had got so used to the Hollywood lifestyle, he struggles with everyday tasks when not filming.

He said: “I get a bit lost for about a week. I think, ‘No one is bringing me lunch anymore – I’ve got to go do that myself?’ ”
