Why Clooney’s X Warned Stacy?
by Kavy on Sep.22, 2011, under Actor
George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend has warned Stacy Keibler she is “wasting her time” with him
Elizabeth Daily – who dated the ‘Ideas of March’ actor in 1993 after his split from ex-wife Talia Balsam – claims the former wrestler shouldn’t expect anything serious from her new boyfriend, as women are constantly trying and failing to “tame” the Hollywood heartthrob.
She said: “I wouldn’t have any expectation of anything serious. Enjoy him. Girls think they can tame him. But it will never happen. They’re wasting their time.
“Even then he was adamant that he wouldn’t get married again.”
Despite her warnings to Stacy, Elizabeth still thinks the actor is “sexy”.
She added to Star magazine: “He’s a beautiful and sexy and a true man.”
However, Stacy – who has been dating George since last month – has admitted she wasn’t looking for love when she met the star.
The one-time WWE Diva told People: “I was just living in the moment. I was actually not really searching for a boyfriend.
“I don’t think about [the future]. I live in the present moment. That was my New Year’s resolution … and it’s worked out pretty good so far.”

What Makes Clooney Feel Better?
by Lisa on Jul.10, 2011, under Actor
George Clooney feels “unclean” after awards season
The 50-year-old actor began humanitarian work in Sudan in 2005 after feeling the need to do something more beneficial to the world after tiring of “campaigning” to be recognised for his movie achievements.
He explained: “I had just come out of Oscar season and you really do campaign, like kissing babies.
“By the time it’s over, you sort of feel unclean.
“You want to do something that makes you feel better.”
Following his first trip to the war-torn country with his father, George donated money to build a well and huts, but soon learned to use other ways than his wealth to help the African territory because of what happened to his gifts.
He explained: “A year later, the next-door villagers – who wanted water and needed shelter – killed some people to get to that well and shelter.
“It’s devastating. We have to be very careful – sometimes helping is not throwing money at a problem.”
George believes other celebrities should follow his lead and use their positions to help the world.
He added to Marie Claire magazine: “There is ever more attention on celebrity than ever – and there is a use for that besides selling products.
“We can’t make policy but we can ‘encourage’ politicians more than ever before.”

Jennifer Aniston Has Joked That She Should Marry George Clooney
by Kavy on Apr.06, 2011, under Actress
Jennifer Aniston has joked that she should marry George Clooney because they are Hollywood’s most famous singletons
The ‘Just Go With It’ actress is so bored with the endless speculation about her love life that she thinks she should call up Hollywood’s most famous bachelor George – who is also a close friend of her ex-husband Brad Pitt – and propose.
She said: “That would definitely shut up the world! I could call up George, say, ‘Hun, let’s just get hitched and have kids.’ I should take George to lunch and we can figure out how to put an end to all this. Ha! Well, no.”
The ‘Up In The Air’ actor is currently in a relationship with Italian model-and-actress Elisabetta Canalis, while Jennifer is not dating anyone.
The 42-year-old star would not rule out getting married again, but she insists it is also important to love yourself, and at the moment her pals – including her former ‘Friends’ co-star Courteney Cox – are the most important people in her life.
Jennifer told this month’s Red magazine: “You have to have a balance in life. You have to also have your own personal love: what inspires you, what excites you when you wake up in the morning.
“Where would you be without friends? Where would you be without people to pick you up when you need lifting? As we know, myself and a lot of my friends, we’ve come from homes that were far from perfect, so you end up almost parent and sibling to your friends, and vice versa. Your own chosen family. There’s nothing like a really loyal, dependable, good friend. Nothing.”

George — “too many drugs”
by Lisa on Feb.23, 2011, under Actor
George Clooney says he took “too many drugs” in the past to ever become a politician
The 49-year-old actor – who is a supporter of the Democrat party -doesn’t believe he has lived a clean enough life to be able to run for office. He told Newsweek magazine: “I didn’t live my life in the right way for politics. I slept with too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.”
Despite his own apparent indiscretions, Clooney doesn’t think a colourful private life should stop people from getting involved in politics.
The Hollywood heartthrob – who is playing a politician in his next movie ‘The Ides of March’ – said: “Just start from the beginning by saying, ‘I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let’s talk about issues.’ ”
He jokingly added: “That’s going to be my campaign slogan, ‘I drank the bong water.’ ” A bong is a type of water-based smoking device usually used to inhale burnt cannabis. Rather than restrict himself as a politician, George would much rather focus on his humanitarian work, which includes raising awareness of the war in Sudan.
The actor – who has funded a satellite overlooking a region of the North East African country to monitor military movements – said: “I’m not tied to the UN or the US government, and so I don’t have the same constraints. I’m a guy with a camera from 480 miles up. I’m the anti-genocide paparazzi.”

What Is George Clooney’s Point Of View?
by Lisa on Jan.22, 2011, under Actor, updates
George Clooney would never want to be president because he doesn’t want to answer to anyone else
The American actor has always been quite vocal with his political views but says he has no intention to run for office as he sees what immense pressure current US president Barack Obama is under.
When asked by Piers Morgan on his new CNN show ‘Piers Morgan Tonight‘ if he’d like to run the country, George said: “Why would I? My job is as good as it gets – why change it? The truth of the matter is, let’s use the president we have now. He’s kind, considerate and passionate and the guy I would want to have in the job and he’s getting a hard time – why would anybody want to do that? But I do applaud anyone that wants to go into public service.”
George – who was recently on a trip to Sudan in North Eastern Africa, where he was working with the United Nations and Google on a project to help prevent a new civil war – says he’s happy with the position he’s in at the moment because he can air his views without thinking of the consequences.
He said: “I don’t have anyone else that I have to answer to. I can say, here is what I think, here is what I believe in and I’m going to stand for it. And you can not like me for it or you can help me with it but I don’t represent a lot of other people or have to answer to anyone.”
During his trip to Sudan, George contracted malaria but has “completely” recovered from his battle with the illness.
‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ airs on CNN tonight (22.01.11).

“Although, I do wonder if any of the respondents would ever actually follow through with their ‘list’. I can’t help but think that even if people were confronted with the situation whilst in a serious relationship, they would probably shy away from it!”

George Clooney — Emmy Award 2010
by Abbey on Jul.22, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Award
George Clooney is being presented with an Emmy award for his humanitarian efforts.
The 49-year-old Hollywood star will be honoured with the Bob Hope trophy for hosting a telethon that raised $50 million for earthquake-hit Haiti as well as his efforts to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina and raise awareness of the crisis in Darfur.
John Shaffner, chairman and chief executive of the TV academy, said Clooney was “an obvious choice” for the award.
He said: “George was an obvious choice for this honour.
“He has understood and harnessed the power of television, the most powerful medium of our time, to reach into the hearts of people around the world and compelled us to action on behalf of those in sudden and desperate need, as well as those tragically oppressed in Darfur.”
The prestigious award – established in 2002 after the late actor Bob Hope – has so far been given to three other recipients.
Bob’s daughter Linda is pleased with the choice of recipient.
She said: “Like my own father, George is a person who looks beyond himself to use his celebrity for good, to make a difference in the world and to inspire others to do the same.
“It’s particularly gratifying that he has been selected for this award, since our families have a history of friendship and a powerful, shared desire to help others.”
Previous recipients of the awards were Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby and Danny Thomas, who received it posthumously in 2004.
The Emmy Awards will take place on 29 August in Los Angeles.

What Anna Kendrick Says On Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner?
by Kavy on Jun.28, 2010, under Actor, Actress
Anna Kendrick gets intimated by good-looking men.
The actress stars alongside Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in new movie ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ and while they are two of the world’s most sought-after heartthrobs, Anna says neither one is for her.
She said: “I mean, they’re like siblings to me now, and if I had to choose between them, it would feel really creepy.
“I don’t think either of them is my type. I’d like a guy who looks a little more goofy and who is less intimidating – they’re both lovely, but almost too perfect-looking.”
Although Anna – who starred in ‘Up in the Air’ with George Clooney – can see the attraction in both men, she says she finds it a bit “strange” at how much attention they get from girls, especially Robert.
She told website MailOnline: “They’re a big thing now – and it’s not just in the UK, but everywhere. It seems like a harmless hobby, although it is a little strange. Maybe the mums are finding a way to connect with their daughters, which would be sweet. But all it takes is one crazy mum to infiltrate that sweet circle of women and you never know what they might do!
“I think Rob is just as shy and freaked out by the attention as he seems to be – it’s not an act. He’s definitely not hard on the eyes, and I get why girls go crazy for him, but it makes me feel like saying, ‘Guys, really, he’s just a dude!’ ”

Did Angelina Asked Brad 2 Tie The Knot?
by Alice on Apr.27, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Marriage
Angelina Jolie reportedly asked Brad Pitt to marry her.
The actress – who earlier this month was reported to be preparing to tie the knot with her long-term partner – is said to have decided it was time to make Brad her husband during the couple’s stay in Venice, where Angelina was shooting new movie ‘The Tourist’.
A source said: “Angelina has fallen in love with Brad all over again – and she wants to make it official by getting married. Once she made up her mind the only thing left to do was tell Brad.”
Rumours are rife the ceremony will take place at Brad’s close friend George Clooney’s Italian villa on Lake Como and the pair’s oldest four children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, and three-year-old Shiloh, will have big roles on the special day.
Brad’s parents, Bill and Jane, are also said to be delighted at the news of the nuptials and are looking forward to seeing their son wed for the second time. His first wife was Jennifer Aniston.
Another source told National Enquirer magazine: “Bill and Jane have never been entirely comfortable with the idea of he and Angie cohabiting, so they are thrilled.”
Brad, 46, and Angelina, 34, also have 21-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne together.

The sportsman and wife Victoria Beckham spent several days at the actor’s villa in Laglio, on Lake Como, last year while he was playing for soccer team AC Milan and are now hoping to purchase the lavish 30-room property after the ‘Burn After Reading’ star decided to sell up.
According to Italian newspapers, David told pals: “I have fallen in love with the beautiful countryside. It’s peaceful, quiet and near Milan. It would be great for the family.”
However, the couple – who have sons Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz – face competition from Russian vodka billionaire Tariko Roustam, 47, who is said to have offered an amazing £30 million for the property – ten times the asking price.
However, it is believed negotiations with the Beckhams are at an “advanced” stage and they are favourites to land the house.
The couple’s bid has also received the backing of Laglio’s mayor Roberto Pozzi.
He said: “It would be a shame if George went because he has become one of the locals and we have grown fond of him. Everyone has seen him when he comes over and he is always friendly.
“I know the Beckhams stayed at the villa last spring but I never saw them – if George does leave then I hope the Beckhams do buy the place as it will keep a touch of glamour in Laglio.”
Since George bought the house for £10 million in 2002, property prices in the area have increased significantly.
It is believed the ‘Up In The Air’ star and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis are now hoping to buy Loreto Island, Pisogne town, near Como.

George Clooney’s Advice On Dating
by Alice on Nov.24, 2009, under Actor

The 48-year-old actor – who is dating MTV Italy presenter Elisabetta Canalis – created a set of rules which he believed would help his ‘Up In The Air’ co-star Anna Kendrick, 24, including banning her from romancing older men.
Anna explained: “He had rules for me about dating and stuff. It was really sweet. It’s funny, actually. A friend of his that was his age was dating somebody younger than me. He thought that was fine. I was like, ‘What would you say to me if I were dating somebody your age?’ He said, ‘Oh no, absolutely not.’
“He had this kind of older brother thing with me.”
The actress also revealed her favourite scenes with George were the ones where she got to take out all her former relationship frustrations out on him.
She explained: “I loved yelling at George. I loved telling George off. I loved telling George that he was a 12 year old. I was so looking forward to that scene almost to the extent that I was concerned that it was going to be a kind of indulgent thing. It’s like every ex-boyfriend I have ever had in the form of George Clooney on a boardwalk. It was a lot of fun.”
