Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan — Stealing the Show on Oscar Night

Lindsay Lohan is only two steps removed from the Oscars — and by “steps” we mean “time slots” — because TMZ has learned she’ll be a part of Jimmy Kimmel’s big post-Oscar special.

Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ she’ll play a role in Jimmy’s taped sketch that will air during the special, which airs after local news, which airs after the Oscars.

You’ll remember … last year’s Kimmel bit was the Handsome Men’s Club, which featured Matthew McConaughey, Josh Hartnett and Rob Lowe, among others.

We’re told this year’s sketch features some of the hottest women in Hollywood — Lindsay, Scarlett Johansson, Emily Blunt, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria, Minka Kelly and Jessica Biel.

Pretty good company.

Who Is Designing Kate Moss’ Wedding Dress?

by Kavy on Feb.24, 2011, under Model

Kate Moss’ Designer PalKate Moss’ wedding dress will be designed by John Galliano

The supermodel is tying the knot with rocker Jamie Hince on July 2 and has asked her long-time friend to create her bridal gown.

The 37-year-old catwalk queen reportedly announced her choice of designer at a Topshop dinner during London Fashion Week.

Galliano has created wedding outfits for numerous stars, including Emily Blunt, Penelope Cruz and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen – who wore a custom-made dress with spaghetti straps and a unique veil when she and her husband Tom Brady held a second wedding ceremony in Costa Rica in April 2009.

He also created a gown which had a finish that looked as though it had been dipped in pink paint for Gwen Stefani’s 2002 nuptials to Gavin Rossdale.

Kate and Galliano have been close friends since she started out in the fashion business in the early 90s.

She recently praised the 50-year-old creative – who is the head designer as Christian Dior – revealing their relationship is based on “mutual admiration”.

Kate said: “Since starting out in the fashion industry I’ve been close to the House of Dior and particularly to John Galliano. Our long friendship is built on mutual admiration and loyalty to each other. Dior has such a luxurious and feminine image.”

Kiss & Laugh — Emily Blunt

by Lisa on Feb.07, 2011, under Actor, Actress

Emily Blunt Kissing Matt DamonEmily Blunt laughed when she had to kiss Matt Damon

The 27-year-old actress had to get up-close with Matt in new movie ‘The Adjustment Bureau’, and admits it wasn’t easy because she kept on giggling about it.

She said: “She said: “It comes with the job. By the time Matt and I had become friends and I had got to know his wife Lucy, I laughed the whole time, because it’s so embarrassing to kiss somebody who is your friend.”

The British beauty famously dropped weight to play the role of a nasty secretary in romantic comedy ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and had to do it again for the movie, although she found it hard because she is such a food fan.

She told Style: “I love to cook and I love to eat. I make a great Thai green curry and a great roast chicken.

“I do it all the time. Obsessively. It relaxes me and I get zenned out. I go into a meditative state and I don’t want anyone helping me.”

“When I did ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ last year, I had to get really thin again and it was hell. I had to get ripped at the gym.”

When Emily Feels Relieved?

by Kavy on Feb.06, 2011, under Actress

When Emily Feels Relieved?Emily Blunt feels “relieved” if she doesn’t win awards

The 27-year-old British actress – who had a stammer when she was younger – hates having to speak out in public so doesn’t get upset if she misses out on accolades.

She said: “I don’t have that, ‘I really want to win sort of thing.’ Am I disappointed if I lose? No. Absolutely not. I am almost relieved that I don’t have to go up there and make a speech.”

The ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’ star also admitted she doesn’t necessarily think awards honour the best production or performances because people’s opinions are so subjective.

She added: “The awards thing is tricky to understand because it’s about momentum and a general opinion on what’s been great.

“I don’t know if you can necessarily pin down what is a better performance. It’s subjective – not everyone likes some of the Oscar-winning performances that have been out there.

“Even if you were to win there would be people who’d hate the fact you’d won it.”

Why Michael Buble Says He Is Not Sec-c?

by Abbey on Jan.08, 2011, under Artist, Entertainment, Singer, updates

Michael BubleMichael Buble doesn’t think he is sexy

The Canadian singer – who is set to tie the knot with Argentinean actress Luisana Lopilato on April 6 2011 – says he is never approached by women and can only see his self-deprecating sense of humour as the reason why people would fall for him.

He said: “They don’t approach me and I don’t think I’m sexy. “If there is anything sexy about me maybe it’s that I’m a goof and I don’t take myself seriously. Isn’t that kind of sexy? If you just take the p**s out of yourself a bit.“I don’t think sexy is, ‘Hi, nice to meet you.’ I sing beautiful songs and I mean what I say.”

Michael split from his previous girlfriend Emily Blunt in 2008 amid rumours of his infidelity and he revealed their break-up taught him to be careful about discussing his love life. He said: “I learned a lot and from now on my private life remains that. I’m not saying you have to be rude about it when people ask, but I just decline to speak about my love life.”

When Emily Blunt Felt Like An “imposter”…?

by Alice on Aug.07, 2010, under Actress

Emily BluntEmily Blunt felt like there was an “imposter” living inside her when she had a stutter

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star – who developed a speech impediment at the age of seven – revealed that even though she has since overcome the condition, she sometimes struggles to even say her own name.

She said: “It was awful, absolutely awful. You feel like there’s an imposter living inside of you who is misrepresenting who you really are. You don’t want to be accepted for being that person but at the same time you do, and you don’t want someone to finish your sentences, yet you breathe a sigh of relief when someone does.

“It’s very common for stutterers to not be able to say their own name, and when someone asks who’s calling, I’ll be like ‘F**k!’ ”

The actress – who won a Golden Globe award for her role in ‘Gideon’s Daughter’ – revealed despite achieving critical acclaim, there are still other female actresses she looks up to and admires.

She explained: “Cate Blanchett is wonderful. Rachel Weisz is delicious. And Meryl Streep, of course. She’s such a free spirit, so intuitive, she’s got balls, and she manages to maintain a mystique and a wonderful sense of humour.

“She’s someone who I admire not only for what she can do – that’s a given – but for who she is.”

Rupert Grint — “I woke up in a graveyard”

by Kavy on Jun.01, 2010, under Actor

Rupert Grint once got so drunk that he passed out in a graveyard.

The 21-year-old actor – who stars in new comedy ‘Wild Target‘ alongside Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt – admitted he could at times be just as big a party animal as his character in the movie, who wakes up hungover inside a sofa cover in one scene.

He told BANG Showbiz: “I really overdid it once when I woke up in a graveyard. I’d been at my mate’s house, we’d been asleep, then there was alcohol involved and we went out.

“A graveyard really isn’t the nicest place to wake up!”

Despite his impromptu night sleeping next to the tombstones, Rupert – who is best known for his role as Ron Weasley in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise – thinks he has been very fortunate to have managed to keep his partying out of the public eye and not go off the rails in the way many other former child stars have.

Speaking about his ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe – who play Hermione and Harry respectively – he said: “No I’m pretty lucky, I’ve stayed out of it… We all stayed out of it. We kept quite low-key, that’s the way to do it.”

How Scarlett Johansson Got Her Role In ‘Iron Man 2′?

by Kavy on Apr.25, 2010, under Actress

Scarlett Johansson

carlett Johansson fought hard for her role in ‘Iron Man 2′.

The 25-year-old actress – who plays sexy Russian spy Black Widow in the superhero movie – admitted she actively campaigned for the role after actress Emily Blunt dropped out because of scheduling conflicts.

She said: “I was a huge fan of the first movie and was quite ‘geek-ed’ out at being part of the second one. I just wanted to be a part of ‘Iron Man’ so I really researched the comic books and came in with some ideas of my own about how to develop the character. I see her as being determined and ambitious.”

Scarlett was anxious to get the part because she was keen to “kick *ss” alongside her co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr.

She said: “I love everything about this character. She’s a total bada*s. I love every detail from her fabulous outfit to the wonderful hair. I mean, there’s nothing not to like about the character. She’s very bad and I think it’s rare that we get to see these sort of super heroines bought to the screen, where they’re really kicking some major a*s, which she does.”

Emily Blunt Plans To Give Up Her Restricted Diet This Christmas

by Kavy on Dec.21, 2009, under Actress

Emily Blunt

The British actress has been looking forward to the festive period for months because she plans to ditch her healthy eating plan and treat herself to some calorific treats.

She said: “I’m going to eat as much as I want and get off this diet I’ve been on!”

Emily has been monitoring her calorie intake for months while filming her latest movie, ‘The Adjustment Bureau’, in which she portrays a slender ballet dancer Elise Sellas.

The 26-year-old actress stars alongside Matt Damon in the sci-fi thriller about an affair between the dancer and a politician, who are kept apart by mysterious forces.

Emily has trained hard to lose weight for the role, and even went to a “dance boot camp” to tone up and pick up dance tips.

She recently said: “I’m going to dance boot camp. I’ll never be at the same standard as a professional, but hopefully I’ll be able to do a little bit. I didn’t do ballet when I was a child. I gave it up in some sort of bratty rage, claiming it hurt my feet.”

‘The Adjustment Bureau’ is due for release next year.

Emily Blunt Wore Restrictive Costumes While Filming ‘The Young Victoria’

by Kavy on Dec.11, 2009, under Actress

Emily Blunt

The actress – who plays the former British monarch Queen Victoria in the period film – has revealed the corsets she wore were so restrictive she couldn’t feel her body during shooting.

She said: “I learned how to survive when they lace you tight. It takes getting used to. You must inhale so your rib cage expands. This way, after you’re all done up you can have room to breathe.

“After a day’s shooting, I’d instantly put on sweat pants. I needed something comfy. I needed to feel my inner organs working again!”

However, one thing she did enjoy about the period outfits was that she didn’t have to wear high heels.

Emily added: “We wore flats under those huge, voluminous gowns, which, in fact, they actually did in the early period. They wore ballet boots.”

The movie also gave the 26-year-old star a new respect for the British monarchy.

She said: “Everyone thinks royalty is so grand, but it’s really hard. I wouldn’t want to live with that protocol, being on all the time, constantly under watch.”

Emily Blunt: Learning To Play The Ukulele

by Alice on Dec.08, 2009, under Actress

Emily Blunt

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ actress – who stars as Princess of Lilliputia in new movie ‘Gulliver’s Travels’, which is based on the classic novel by Jonathan Swift – has taken up the guitar-like instrument after seeing her two co-stars Jack Black and Billy Connolly playing it on set between takes.

Emily, 26, claims she is getting good and serenades fiance John Krasinski with her favourite Otis Redding song.

She said: “I can play ‘Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay’ and that Beatles song, ‘When I’m 65′ or is it ‘64′? Whatever it is. I like that one. Next I’d like to learn ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ on the ukulele.”

Emily is not the only star to have recently taken up the ukulele.

Zac Efron, 22, has started to learn the instrument after becoming interested in it while shooting his new coming-of-age movie ‘Me And Orson Welles’.

He said: “I think one thing that I’ll never forget was the ukulele instrument we had. One of the guys in the cast is really good on the ukulele so he would kind of improvise. And we would all improvise songs about people on the cast and just kind of like sing.”

Michael Buble’s Girlfriend Confused

by cyan on Oct.28, 2009, under Girlfriend

Michael BubleThe Canadian crooner says he was so intimidated when he first met Argentian actress Luisana Lopilato at one of his concerts last November that he spent the night talking to her male friend instead.

He told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “I don’t speak Spanish and she had no English. But the guy did so I just spoke to him. I was a bit nervous because of how beautiful she was.

“I later found out she was on the phone to her mother the whole time saying, ‘Buble’s gay. He’s hitting on my friend’.”

After finding out that Luisana was single, Michael, 34, asked her out and the couple have been together ever since – much to the unhappiness of the 22-year-old beauty’s devotees.

Michael admitted: “I get the feeling some people – perhaps her fans – don’t like me. The media there have said terrible things about me.”

The actor – who broke up with ‘The Young Victoria’ actress Emily Blunt in 2008 amid rumours of his infidelity – had previously said he found it difficult dating other performers.

He said: “You’re never together. You’re lucky if you can see the person once every two to three months.”
