‘Dancing with the Stars’ — Targeting Lorenzo Lamas

“Dancing with the Stars” execs are currently locked in negotiations to bring a “Renegade” and a “Baywatch” babe to the ballroom next season … TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the show tell us Lorenzo Lamas and Donna D’Errico have been contacted by the DWTS people … and are “in talks” about a possible deal.

We’re told nothing is in stone yet — but we’re hearing both Lorenzo and Donna have “serious interest” in doing the show.

Meanwhile, ABC is already soliciting casting ideas on their website — and we’re told DWTS staff is actually paying attention to the answers.

Susan Boyle Appearance on ‘DWTS’ — Cancelled!

Susan Boyle will not be appearing on Tuesday’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” — and no one’s saying what went wrong.

As we first reported, Susan was set to sing “Hallelujah” on the show tomorrow. But a rep for the show confirmed to TMZ she won’t be appearing this week — no word yet on rescheduling.

A source tells us Susan missed a flight to L.A. today. She was supposed to tape her performance on the “DWTS” set this evening.

We’re told host Tom Bergeron will address the issue on tonight’s show.

Audrina Patridge — The ‘DWTS’ Curse Strikes Again!

It was only a matter of time until someone got injured on “Dancing with the Stars” — but luckily for Audrina Patridge, she got off easy.

Sources close to the show tell TMZ Audrina tweaked her ankle during rehearsals yesterday and paramedics were called. Not to worry though … we’re told it’s just a minor sprain and Audrina is “pushing through.”

Count yourself lucky, Audrina … it could have been worse.

Kelly Osbourne is tipping Bristol Palin to win ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The presenter – who credits taking part in the celebrity dance contest last year with her remarkable weight loss – said she hopes the 19-year-old single mother dances her way to victory.

She said: “I have a real soft spot for Bristol Palin and was a bit heartbroken to see that her mother, US politician Sarah Palin, was not in the audience during that first week.”

Kelly – whose parents are Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne – also admitted she was impressed that Bristol performed so well without family support.

She said: “It’s such an exhausting show- physically and emotionally – and it’s really important that you can look out into the crowd and see a supportive face cheering you on. So I really give her credit for getting out there and doing it on her own.”

Kelly is enjoying watching this year’s contest but was upset to see David Hasselhoff voted off the show first.

She added: “I love this season’s cast and was pretty shocked to see The Hoff voted off so early on.”

‘DWTS’ Might Have a Situation on Its Hands

The apocalypse is nigh — TMZ has learned The Situation is desperately trying to expand his empire … entering into secret negotiations to appear on the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Nothing’s official yet — but according to sources close to the reality star, the deadline for negotiations is Monday … so we should have a definite answer by then.

The Sitch’s manager Mike Petolino begs to differ, telling TMZ, “There are no plans for DWTS at this moment.”

Romancing Rachel Uchitel – Coming to TV

There’s a story out there that Tiger Woods‘ Mistress #1 – Rachel Uchitel — is hitting a Vegas dance studio so she can be on the next installment of “Dancing with the Stars” … but TMZ has learned Rachel has become far more entrepreneurial and is pitching her very own reality show.

Sources tell TMZ Rachel, along with two producers and an agent, have gone to 4 different cable networks, pitching a show called “Romancing Rachel.”  We’re told the premise is that Rachel has a hard time meeting guys, given what’s been going on with her.  The pitch — watch Rachel try to find true love … with single guys.

We’re told Rachel was in L.A. earlier this month and pitched the show — along with her producing entourage — to E!, VH1, Oxygen and Lifetime.  We’re told Lifetime and E! have passed, but VH1 and Oxygen are still in play.

As for Rachel’s entourage — one of the producers is Scott Jeffress, who produced “Jersey Shore,” “The Bachelor” and a bunch of other shows.

As for “DWTS” … we’re told Rachel isn’t taking dance lessons to get on the show.  She just wants a new hobby.
