Uchitel Mourns Dead Fiance … for the Cameras

Rachel Uchitel made an emotional visit to a memorial dedicated to her former fiance who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks … and for good measure, she brought along Dr. Drew and a reality TV crew.

Cameras were rolling last Thursday as Uchitel — who is starring in the upcoming season of “Celebrity Rehab” — sat down near a plaque dedicated to Andy O’Grady in New York’s Central Park and read a letter she had written to honor his memory.

A source close to the production tells us Rachel then placed the note in a bottle and dropped it in the water.

Trump to Rachel Uchitel — Beat It!

Rachel Uchitel has been fired by Donald Trump before she was officially hired, because Trump tells TMZ he’s pulling his offer for her to do “Celebrity Apprentice.”

TMZ broke the story … Trump offered her a spot on the next “Celebrity Apprentice.”  A few minutes ago we told Trump that Rachel agreed over the weekend to go on “Celebrity Rehab.”  Trump’s reaction:  “It’s a terrible decision.  We have zero interest in her now.”

Trump thinks Rachel will regret her decision.  “Look at what ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ did for Piers Morgan.  He’s getting Larry King’s job. She made a bad mistake.”

Trump’s final shot:  “Celebrity Apprentice is a huge show and ‘Celebrity Rehab’ is not.  I have 10 people who want to be on the show for every slot that’s available.  I’m moving on.”

Rachel Uchitel Goes to ‘Rehab’ … for a Price

Tiger Woods‘ mistress numero uno Rachel Uchitel is heading to “Celebrity Rehab” — but TMZ has learned the show resorted to drastic measures before she agreed to check in.

Sources connected to the production tell us Uchitel had originally turned down the show — but after  producers DOUBLED their offer and Dr. Drew personally paid Uchitel a visit, Rachel changed her mind.

We’re told Uchitel will make around $500,000 for her stint on the show.

A rep from VH1 claims Uchitel is hoping to kick an addiction to pills.

We’re told it’s unclear if this will affect Uchitel’s offer to join Donald Trump on “Celebrity Apprentice.”

The network claims Uchitel will be joined on the show by supermodel Janice Dickinson, actor Jeremy London, musician Leif Garrett, oil heir Jason Davis, ex-reality star Jason Wahler and singer Keyshia Cole’s mother.

‘Celebrity Rehab’ Tries to Net Jennifer Capriati

The people behind “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew“  have their sights set on former tennis star Jennifer Capriati and are willing to pay a pretty penny to get her to sign … TMZ has learned.

Sources say “Rehab” producers are in talks with Capriati — who accidentally overdosed on prescription meds last month — and are willing to pay her top dollar to make her their ace in the hole for the upcoming season.

Although nothing is set in stone right now, we’re told Capriati would be the big star the show desperately needs, since it’s only landed B-teamers like Tila Tequila, Shauna Sand, and Jason Wahler.

Lindsay Lohan — Face-to-Face with Dr. Drew

Lindsay Lohan is headed for a showdown with one of her most outspoken critics — Dr. Drew Pinsky — and it’s all going down at a Weenie Roast.

TMZ has learned Lohan has snagged tickets for the KROQ Weenie Roast concert this weekend in Irvine, CA — and Dr. Drew is also on the VIP list.

Of course, Lindsay ripped the good Doc recently — after he stated that if LiLo was his daughter, he would plant drugs on her and make sure she got arrested … to ensure she would get treatment. The two have yet to kiss and make up.

The concert is set to go down this afternoon.

Shauna Sand to Enter ‘Rehab’

Shauna Sand’s penchant for booze and attention has finally paid off — TMZ has learned the former Playboy Playmate has signed on for the next season of “Celebrity Rehab.”

We’re told Shauna will check into Dr. Drew’s famous recovery center in Pasadena tomorrow.

As we previously reported, the show has already lined up several other minor celebs including Tila Tequila and Jason Wahler.

Platinum Rapper On Board for ‘Celebrity Rehab’

TMZ has learned Celebrity Rehab is all set to add another star to its cast — “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony” rapper Bizzy Bone.

We’re told Bizzy – real name Byron McCane — wants to seek treatment for an addiction to marijuana and alcohol.

As we’ve previously reported, the producers behind the VH1reality show starring Dr. Drew have been on a mission to lock down a cast — and fast … or else the show could be in danger.

If the show survives — Bizzy could join Tila Tequila and Jason Wahler inside the rehab facility.

Mindy McCready — My Mom Overreacted

Mindy McCready’s rep tells TMZ the singer did not OD on drugs — she just had a bad reaction to a painkiller and her mom “overreacted.”

Brent Young, Mindy’s rep, tells us she broke her toe 2 days ago and has been complaining about the pain.

We’re told Mindy’s mom gave her four Darvocet pills this morning.  Darvocet is a narcotic painkiller.

Young says Mindy told her mom that she wasn’t feeling well — possibly from a bad reaction to the Darvocet — and her mom “overreacted” and called 911.

McCready and her mom have been fighting over custody of Mindy’s son.  Young says McCready’s mom may have simply been trying to make her custody argument stronger by calling the paramedics.

Young says he just spoke with Mindy, saying, “She’s totally coherent.  She can’t believe her mom did this.”

Young says, Mindy wants him to call Dr. Drew to say she hasn’t fallen off the wagon.

Tila Tequila to Enter ‘Celebrity Rehab’

Tila Tequila is finally seeking professional help — TMZ has confirmed through multiple sources that the bisexual reality star has committed to do the next season of VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab” … if it doesn’t get canceled first.

It’s unclear what personal demon Tila will try to conquer with the help of Dr. Drew — but it certainly won’t be her addiction to attention.

But there’s one major catch — as we previously reported — VH1 is having problems finding other “celebrities” to rehabilitate … and if they don’t find a cast quick, the show could be killed.

So far, no word on who else the show has its sights set on.

‘Celebrity Rehab’ Shoots for the Stars

“Celebrity Rehab” is getting both presumptuous and audacious by trying to sign some big fish.

Sources connected to the show tell TMZ …. the casting department has set its sights on Lindsay Lohan, Heather Locklear, Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller.  Surprise … none of them have signed up.

As for Lindsay, we’re told the show recently offered her $1 million to appear on “Celeb Rehab” as well as “Sober House” and a third possible spin-off.  Show sources say they were told Lindsay had no interest, partly because she doesn’t think she has a problem and partly because she wants nothing to do with Dr. Drew.

Show sources say they were shut down with Heather Locklear as well — again, the show sources say they were told Heather doesn’t have a problem.

Dr. Drew to Lindsay: Don’t Blame Me!

Lindsay Lohan is holding Dr. Drew Pinsky responsible for “provoking” her father’s surprise police visit today — but Drew tells TMZ he’s never even met Michael Lohan.

Moments after Michael — along with several officers — rolled through LiLo’s apartment to check on 16-year-old Ali Lohan, Lindsay claimed that she “agreed” with a Tweet that read, “This is all that quack, Dr. Drews’ fault. He purposely provoked your unstable leech of a father.”

The Tweet was referring to a statement Drew made recently, in which he claimed if it were his kid he would plant drugs on her and have her as a last resort arrested to save her.

Drew tells TMZ, “I’ve personally never met Michael Lohan, nor Lindsay. My comments were in relation to what I would do as a father.”

Drew added, “I have no direct knowledge of her case, but I hope she gets the help she needs.”
