Kelsey Grammer’s motion to have his divorce finalised has been granted

The former ‘Frasier’ actor and estranged wife Camille were not in court in Los Angeles this morning (07.02.11) when a judge told their legal representatives their 14-year marriage can be dissolved once they have agreed a settlement.

The divorce could not be completed today as neither Kelsey, 55, nor Camille, 42, have signed the settlement paperwork.

The pair’s lawyers told the court the completed documents will be submitted by Thursday (10.02.11), with the divorce then expected to be finalised within the next two weeks.

The judge also heard that Kelsey will post a $2 million bond for the next 18 months to protect Camille’s interest in the actor’s pension.

At a hearing last month, Camille – who has argued Kelsey only wanted to divorce so he can marry current partner Kayte Walsh – asked for proceedings to be delayed and though Judge Maren E. Nelson agreed to postpone her decision until today, she said at the time she would be inclined to grant the actor’s request.

In December, Camille – mother of two of Kelsey’s children, Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jude – reportedly rejected a $30 million divorce settlement as it didn’t include alimony or child support for their kids.

Following his split from Camille last July, Kelsey – whose marriage to the ‘Real Housewives’ star was his third – started dating 29-year-old Kayte but in October tragedy struck as she miscarried their first child together.

The actor has repeatedly stated his desire to marry his new partner this month and the pair are even believed to have sent out wedding invitations.

Charlie Sheen: I’m Not Into Reality TV Divorce

Charlie Sheen filed for divorce Monday because he didn’t want Brooke Mueller yakking about it on her upcoming reality TV show … TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the couple have told TMZ for months … they would file for divorce as a united front. As we have told you for a long time, Charlie and Brooke signed divorce and property settlement papers back in May and held on to them … waiting for the right moment.

But apparently Brooke’s reality show didn’t sit well with Charlie and he wanted to control the situation and get “a fresh start.” Charlie’s people insist he told Brooke in advance he was filing, but it was not the united front they agreed to last May.

Slash to Mrs. Slash: Divorce Was a Stupid Idea

Slash and his almost ex-wife have reconciled … TMZ has learned … and he’s asking the court to dismiss his divorce petition.

Slash — real name Saul Hudson – filed a request for dismissal of the divorce in L.A. County Superior Court … two months after he filed to divorce his wife, Perla Ferrar.

At the time, sources close to Slash and Perla said their breakup was real nasty. The guitar hero even hired disso-queen Laura Wasser — to rep him.

But love is a crazy thing. The court still has to sign off on the dismissal … and they’ll live happily ever after … again.

Xtina — What a Girl Wants … Is For Her Ex to Move Out!

It’s hard enough getting a bad tenant out of an apartment. So just imagine Christina Aguilera’s dilemma — her hubby is still living in the family home with no plan to move and it’s really awkward … sources tell TMZ.

As TMZ first reported, Aguilera filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman last week after nearly five years of marriage. But despite the fact they’ve been separated since September 11, neither has moved out of their Bev Hills home.

Our sources say it’s so uncomfortable for Christina, she’s been staying in a hotel.

‘O.C. Housewives’ Star Dumps Husband

Vicki Gunvalson from “Real Housewives of Orange County” isn’t going to be a housewife much longer — because TMZ has learned she just filed for divorce.

According to documents filed in O.C. Superior Court — and obtained by TMZ — Vicki filed for dissolution of marriage on Monday from her husband Donn Gunvalson … whom she married back in 1994.

And there’s this … Vicki and Donn actually renewed their vows back in July of 2009 — after Vicki admitted their marriage was souring and they needed a “new start.”

Christina Aguilera Files for Divorce

Christina Aguilera just filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman … TMZ has learned.

Aguilera cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce petition, which was filed today.

According to the divorce docs, there is a prenup. The divorce petition asks that “Earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be considered separate property.

Aguilera, who is represented by disso-queen Laura Wasser, lists the date of separation as September 11, 2010.

The petition also seeks to terminate Bratman’s ability to get child support.

Aguilera is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their child, Max, who is 2.

Mel Gibson Divorce: He Could Pay for His Screwups

Mel Gibson’s 2006 anti-Semitic rant and his 2010 tirades against Blacks, women and others have become an issue in his divorce with Robyn, and it could end up costing Mel big bucks.

As we just reported, Mel’s lawyers have submitted a settlement proposal to Robyn… and her lawyers are “optimistic” they can reach a settlement.

But we’re told there are still outstanding issues, including something called “good will.” It sounds strange, but the good will of a famous person is considered an asset in a marriage — something that has commercial value. In the past Mel had a lot of good will that translated into being able to make movies that people would pay to see.

But after Mel’s 2006 and 2010 rants, the good will has evaporated if not disappeared. As a result … the asset has been greatly devalued.

We’re told one of the issues is whether Mel should have to pay Robyn for squandering his good will.

And the same principle applies to paying spousal support. Mel has an argument that he’s not really making much money anymore so he shouldn’t have to pay support. But there’s a counter-argument — Robyn shouldn’t suffer because Mel screwed up.

Heidi Montag Pulls the Plug on Divorce

TMZ has learned ... Heidi Montag has officially called off her divorce from Spencer Pratt.

The two had been seen out in public together recently — but yesterday, Montag made the reconciliation official, filing a motion for dismissal at L.A. County Superior Court.

As we previously reported, Montag filed for divorce back in July — citing irreconcilable differences.

But now, after the two reunited in Costa Rica to deal with a sex tape scandal — it seems Heidi is once again on board with the whole “til death do us part” thing.

Slash Files for Divorce — And It’s Bad

Slash has filed for divorce, TMZ has learned, and it’s gonna get ugly.

According to legal docs just filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Slash — real name Saul Hudson — cites irreconcilable differences. Slash and wife Perla Ferrar have two boys, age 6 and 8.  Slash is asking for joint physical and legal custody.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ the breakup is extremely acrimonious.

Slash, who is repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser, is willing to pay spousal support, according to the docs. There is no prenup.

The couple was married in October 2001. Slash lists the date of separation as July 15, 2010.

Sherri Shepherd — ‘The View’ Is Not a Heavy Workload

Sherri Shepherd might have the cushiest gig in America — ’cause according to legal docs she just filed, Sherri only has to work 16 hours a week on “The View” … and makes some serious bank!

Shepherd just filed an income declaration in her ongoing divorce from husband Jeff Tarpley … and in the docs, Sherri lists that she takes home $54,767 a month … and says she only works 16 hours a week — that works out to about $855 per hour!

Sounds like a sweet deal … ’til you remember she has to sit next to Elisabeth Hasselbeck the whole time.

Heidi/Spencer Divorce — The Clock is Ticking

Spencer Pratt has been officially served with divorce papers … TMZ has learned.

Heidi Montag took the next big step to end her marriage to Spencer by authorizing service of divorce papers.  We’re told Spencer received and signed the papers last week, which means the divorce can become final exactly six months from the time Spencer got the docs.

Heidi’s lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, tells TMZ … “Both Heidi and Spencer are in agreement to settle their divorce as quickly as possible without the need of a court appearance.”

Christina Milian to The-Dream — You Screwed Me!

Christina Milian wants a judge a throw out the divorce papers filed by her baby daddy The-Dream — claiming that he not only lied about the status of their relationship … but he also cheated on her.

Milian is pissed over The-Dream’s claim that they were legally separated when he filed the divorce docs back in February … just nine days before she gave birth to their daughter.

In her legal response, filed last week in Georgia, Milian claims the marriage wasn’t really kaput when he filed the divorce docs — and subsequently had “marital relations on numerous occasions.”

But Milian also claims that if the court does grant the divorce — it shouldn’t be based on The-Dream’s claim that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” — but rather because the The-Dream was cheating on her.

But it gets worse …

In the docs, Milian admits that she signed a settlement agreement with The-Dream in which both parties waved any alimony or ownership right’s to the other person’s property.

But Milian claims she only signed the docs because The-Dream brought them to her bedside when she was 9-months pregnant … when she was in no condition to sign such important papers.

Christina Milian — Divorce Filed While Pregnant

TMZ has learned …. Christina Milian’s husband — The-Dream — filed for divorce nine days before she gave birth to their only child.

According to documents filed in Georgia and obtained by TMZ, The-Dream — aka Terius Nash — claims the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

The-Dream filed his papers on February 17, but the docs never surfaced until now.

Milian gave birth to their only child, a daughter, on February 26.

In the divorce docs, The-Dream declares, “There is no hope for reconciliation.”

Sherri Shepherd: I Found Pics of Hubby Having Sex

Sherri Shepherd’s divorce trial just got nasty today, when the co-host of “The View” testified … while her newborn was in the ICU, she found pictures of her husband having sex with someone.

Shepherd testified after having a preemie baby weighing 1 pound, 10 ounces, she was going back and forth to the neonatal intensive care unit for several months.  She said one day upon returning home, she found pictures of her husband Jeff Tarpley having sex with a random woman, whom he later impregnated.

Shepherd filed for divorce shortly after finding the photos, back in 2006.

We talked to Sherri in the courtroom hallway just a few minutes ago, and she wanted us to say Jeff’s a good dad.

Kelsey Grammer — No Prenup!!!

TMZ has learned … Kelsey Grammer took a page out of Larry King’s playbook, and got hitched to Camille without a prenup.

It’s pretty stunning, since during the run of “Frasier” Kelsey was the highest paid actor on TV ... making $1.6 mil an episode at the end of the show’s 11-year run.

As we first reported, Kelsey is asking that some of his “Frasier” money be declared his separate property.  Turns out, he was married in 1997, four years after the series launched.  So Kelsey’s separate property request only covers the first 4 years.  His earnings for the remaining 7 years, as well as much of the syndication money, will be considered community property.

Going 50/50 is risky business, when you’ve already been married twice before. Camille is Kelsey’s third wife.

Kelsey Grammer Wants ‘Frasier’ Money to Himself

Kelsey Grammer has just filed court docs in his divorce case, asking the judge to acknowledge he has sole financial interest in the television series, “Frasier.”

Grammer is claiming various other separate property assets, but “Frasier” is the big ticket item specifically mentioned in the legal docs obtained by TMZ.

And Grammer is asking for joint legal custody of the couple’s two kids.

As we first reported, Camille Grammer filed for divorce on July 1 and asked for primary physical custody.

Kelsey Grammer Was Done with Marriage

Sources tell TMZ … Kelsey Grammer made it clear to his wife … he didn’t want to be married anymore, and his actions on Father’s Day pushed Camille over the line.

TMZ broke the story … Camille Grammer filed for divorce yesterday, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … the 13-year marriage started crumbling when Kelsey moved to New York earlier this year to star in “La Cage Aux Folles” on Broadway.

Camille stayed with their two kids in L.A. and flew back and forth to visit him, but sources say it became apparent “Kelsey loved New York, his friends and his freedom more than his marriage.”

We’re told the tipping point for Camille was Father’s Day, when Kelsey was 2,475 air miles away from his family and didn’t call his kids.

As one source said, “She doesn’t know what Kelsey is doing in New York, but he’s made it pretty clear he wants nothing to do with marriage anymore,” adding, “She didn’t see it coming.”

Sandra Bullock/Jesse James Divorce Final

TMZ has learned Sandra Bullock’s divorce from Jesse James is now a done deal.

Sources tell TMZ both Sandra and Jesse signed the final documents last week. Sealed documents have been filed with the clerk’s office in Travis County, Texas  — sources tell us they are the papers that make the divorce final.

Sandra filed for divorce back on April 23, saying the marriage “has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

And sources say the divorce clears the way for Sandra to complete a single parent adoption.

Heidi Not Ready to Pull Trigger

Heidi Montag wants Spencer Pratt to keep his distance from her … but she’s not ready to file divorce papers … according to her best friend.

TMZ broke the story … Heidi separated from Spencer and is moving to Malibu with BFF Jennifer Bunney.

Bunney tells us Heidi felt an obligation to “The Hills”
to stick it out until the show wrapped.  Curiously,
Bunney says she and Heidi will shoot a Malibu-based reality show this summer.

Heidi has not made up her mind on whether she’ll
divorce her hubby, Bunney says.

As for why the marriage hit the skids, Spencer, Heidi says, was so controlling she lost her friends and family.  And now, we’re told, Heidi’s mom wants to reconcile with her daughter.  No word if Heidi will be receptive.

Tiger Divorce — Get it Done, Keep it Quiet

TMZ has learned Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are trying to strike agreements on child custody and division of assets … and then quietly and quickly file divorce papers to end their marriage.

Sources very familiar with the situation tell TMZ … the most important thing for both Tiger and Elin is keeping the terms of the divorce confidential.  We’re told Tiger has a team — partly based in NYC — that is working on the division of assets.  But … as TMZ first told you … the key player is West Palm Beach lawyer Thomas Sasser, an expert in child custody agreements that involve more than one jurisdiction.

Sources say one of the options is to actually file for divorce in Sweden — Elin wants to move there with the kids and Tiger would have to submit to the jurisdiction of the court.  Wherever the divorce is filed, the plan is to keep the custody and property settlement agreements out of the court file.  We’re told the quicker and quieter the divorce, the better.

The big issue, we’re told — Tiger wants either custody or visitation, and assurance that he can go into court and enforce the agreement if Elin violates it.  We’re told Tiger wants the option to go to either a Swedish or American court to enforce the custody agreement.

And sources say … the couple has not reached agreement on any of the major issues … at least not yet.

Larry King Divorce — On the Other Hand …

There is a “good chance” the Larry King divorce is off … this according to sources on both sides. And, if it’s off, it will save Larry a fortune.

Larry and wife Shawn Southwick are going to their marriage counselor this afternoon, sources tell TMZ.

We’re told Larry is especially concerned about how a divorce would affect his two young children.

People familiar with the agreement tell TMZ that although Larry and Shawn are trying to work things out, we’re told the lawyers have been at it. They are  arguing over the validity of the post-nup that Larry signed a few years back — a post-nup that not only gives the couple’s three homes to Shawn but also declares all of the couple’s assets as community property.

The ‘Lost Boys’ actor insists he doesn’t want to split from his wife of seven years, Susannah, after she filed papers last week.

His representative said: “Corey is deeply hurt and saddened by this unexpected change in their relationship, and has done nothing to contribute to the demise of the marriage.

“He is hopeful that he and Susie can work to resolve this quickly and amicably, and he is fully committed to doing what is best for the welfare of their son.”

Susannah cited “irreconcilable differences” in the papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on October 22.

She has requested legal and physical custody of their five-year-old son Zen, with Corey paying spousal and child support, while having visitation rights.

Corey and Susannah married in 2002 – nine months after meeting in a nightclub – on the final episode of reality show ‘The Surreal Life’.

In 2007, Corey revealed how Susannah and his son had helped him overcome his depression and drug abuse problem.

He said: “Six years together and we’re still in love. Whereas I used to get depressed or neurotic or dwell on things, I see my son’s bright eyes and smile in the morning, and suddenly, I don’t feel like I’m depressed anymore. There’s nothing to be depressed about when you’ve got that.”
