Dita Von Teese’s “worst nightmare” would be a man who didn’t share her taste in interior design

The burlesque dancer – who was previously married to goth rocker Marilyn Manson – is incredibly proud of her vintage-inspired Los Angeles home and was relieved to find current boyfriend Louis-Marie de Castelbajac appreciated the colourful way she has decorated her abode.

She said: “My worst nightmare was that I‘d fall in love with a man who likes white walls and modern furniture.” The brunette beauty also admitted she has been experimenting with new culinary creations in order to impress her French partner.

She said: I make a terrific coq au vin to impress my boyfriend.” Explaining her tastes in interior design, Dita admitted she always buys things she knows her grandmother would appreciate.

She added in an interview with Britain’s InStyle magazine: “I have a lot of Franz porcelain teapots, teacups and serving dishes and I love antique silver – I collect the flatware pattern Love Diarmed, a sexy design from the 19th century.

“The rule of shopping for me is, if your grandmother would like it, I would like it.”

Dita Von Teese — Alleged Victim of Anti-Semitism

Funny … she doesn’t look Jewish … but Dita Von Teese claims she was on the receiving end of a Mel Gibson-like anti-Semitic rant … courtesy of her former landlord.

In a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ … Von Teese claims she told her landlord she would be moving out and request the return of her $5,000 security deposit.

Von Teese says she wants getting any action in the security deposit department, so she had her managers contact the landlord.  According to the suit, that’s when the landlord “went on Mel Gibson-like Anti-Semitic tangents, personally attacking Plaintiff’s Jewish managers and business managers … and writing to Plaintiff (Von Teese) that she should ‘beware of Jews.  In your business no one can do anything without them.’”

In the lawsuit, Von Teese’s lawyer, Keith Fink, mentions other alleged correspondence: “Jews they have shucks (sic) the whole world dry and still more to come.”

The landlord could not be reached for comment.

The goth rocker says that after being stricken by an identity crisis, he has accepted that he needs to work on what he is best at and believes his new outlook is working well as the actress – who he first split from in October 2008 before briefly reuniting in February – has agreed to give their relationship another try,

The 40-year-old star said: “I think I’m not afraid to be me. Sometimes it happens when you get to this point in your career, and there are so many things that have happened and influences that you’ve had, besides the influences of the things that have inspired you.

“Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my best is what I need to be.

“I think that has really paid off because I’m back with Evan.”

The ‘Disposable Teens’ singer – real name Brian Warner – believes the relationship will have an impact on his future songwriting.

Asked about the direction his music will take, he told Metal Hammer magazine: “I think it will be more bada*s , I think it’s going to be more romantic, maybe. Self abusive.”

Marilyn and Evan were first romantically linked in 2006 when the singer split from then-wife Dita Von Teese.

The burlesque dancer is taking lessons in the language so she can converse with her boyfriend, French aristocrat Count Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, in his native tongue.

She wrote on her Twitter page: “Why oh why didn’t I pay more attention in high school French?? Yes, now it really DOES seem like 20 years ago.”

Dita’s love of all things from France has extended to the decor in her house.

The 37-year-old beauty has bought a set of 18th century French sconces – a type of wall mounted light fixture which directs light upwards and are often used for torch lighting – for her home.

She revealed: “Bought a pair of Napoleonic era sconces, reminds me of Jean Cocteau’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’… beautiful arms holding ornate candelabras.”

Dita – who was previously wed to goth rocker Marilyn Manson – recently revealed she wants to be an “old-fashioned” mother and will only start a family when she marries again.

She said: “I’d like to think that if I did have children I’d do it the old-fashioned way and fall in love and get married and then have children.

“But I don’t know what the future holds. Maybe it’s on the cards for me or maybe it isn’t. But it doesn’t diminish me as a human being if it’s not.”
