The ‘Toxic’ singer is said to be “distraught” after learning Jason Trawick had been flirting with two women at Los Angeles’ bar Roger Room and is now refusing to take his calls.

Ella Davis, a reveller at the bar, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jason left the bar with two bottles of water – and a stunning blonde who looked like Britney.

“He had his arms around her and they looked very much like they were together for the night.”

Friends of Jason – who has proposed to Britney a number of times – have defended him, insisting his behaviour is out of character.

A source added: “Jason’s a great guy and super loyal. This behaviour is really out of character. But Los Angeles is a small town and word soon got back to Britney he’d had a wild one.

“When she heard he’d been caught cosying up two girls in The Roger Room, it was the last straw. Jason’s really not like this and quickly tried to calm Britney down and rectify the situation. He explained the girls were just friends and there was nothing in it but they still had a massive row.

“Everyone is assuming it’s over – for the time being anyway.”

After the argument Britney called her mother who has flown in from Louisiana to comfort her.

Britney – who has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline – and agent Jason started dating last March. They split briefly in August, but soon reconciled.

The pair were spotted together backstage at the final of UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ – who is judged by Simon Cowell – although they were keen to not been pictured with each other.

A source added to Daily Mirror newspaper: “Ever since Katie returned from the jungle, Alex has been at her house to make her work things out with him.

“Dumping him on TV was such a humiliating thing but he has the hide of a rhino and Katie seems smitten with him.

“Taking him to ‘The X Factor’ for their first public date proves it.”

Katie – whose ex-husband is Peter Andre – also flaunted a diamond ring on her engagement finger, but added: “I always wear this ring – it doesn’t mean anything really.”

The ‘Fear’ singer was horrified when police were called to Paradise in Kensal Green, north London, after a group of revellers objected to being asked to move to accommodate her, siblings Sarah and Alfie and mother Alison Owen because their table in a private dining room had been double booked.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Lily and her family had all got to Paradise to have a nice meal for Sarah’s birthday but there seemed to have been a mix up with the rooms.

“The group that were in there were apparently quite rowdy and worse for wear.

“Lily and her family were trying to ask them to move but once they saw Lily they got really mouthy. There was some pushing and shoving as they refused to move and someone called police.”

Police confirmed that two men aged 40 and another aged 43 were arrested on suspicion of affray on Sunday (06.12.09), with the older man also held on suspicion of assault.

A spokesperson said: “They had booked to have a meal in the private dining room. There must have been a mix up as there was already a group in there.”
