Paris Hilton’s mother is “heartbroken” over her split from Cy Waits

The socialite called time on her relationship with nightclub owner Cy after 18 months last week, leaving her mother, Kathy, upset for them both.

Speaking about Cy, She told the E! news service: “He really is an angel. I do adore him. My heart is broken. That’s why I don’t like getting close to the boyfriends because they become like a part of the family.”

Kathy added she has advised her eldest daughter – who split with Cy as he couldn’t handle her celebrity lifestyle – not to look for anther boyfriend, and instead concentrate on spending some quality time with her family.

She added: “I think it’s very hard to be with somebody that’s in the limelight when you’re really not into that. “The thing is, she goes from one boyfriend to the next. I think she will be single for a while. I told her, you need girlfriend time right now and family time. We don’t need to just put a Band-Aid on this.”

Kathy is also a huge fan of traditional family values, and was left shocked when a few months ago Paris, 30, told her she thought she may be pregnant with Cy’s baby.

She explained: “It was very emotional. For my children, I dreamed of the wedding first and then children. “I’m a traditional girl. I met my husband at 15, got married at 19, got pregnant a year later and then had three children after that.”

The 30-year-old socialite is “so happy” in her relationship with Cy Waits, and while she admits they don’t yet have any plans to marry, any developments in their romance will be shown on screen.

Asked if they have any plans to marry, Paris said: “We are so happy. It’s almost been a year and a half now so we’ll see what happens, but the show is going to show everything, so when that happens it will be on the show.”

Paris – whose new TV show ‘The World According to Paris’ will be broadcast from June 1 in the US – also revealed she inspired by the long-lasting marriage between her parents Kathy and Richard.

She told website Hollyscoop: “We really live life to the fullest. I have amazing friends around me, an incredible boyfriend, and my family’s the best.

“I really look up to my parents’ relationship. I think it’s so special how in love they are and how they’ve been together since my mom was 15.”

Paris’ mother Kathy has recently revealed how Cy has been given the seal of approval by her family, after they were previously uncertain of the reality TV star’s choice of boyfriends.

She previously said: “There have been a few guys Paris has dated that I have openly told her were wrong for her. But Cy is amazing.”

Paris Hilton can see herself marrying boyfriend Cy Waits

The hotel heiress has been dating the Las Vegas nightclub mogul for almost a year and believes he’s the right man for her because he loves her for who she is.

She told America’s In Touch magazine: “I can see myself marrying him. We are so happy!

“He’s different. He doesn’t care about the spotlight. He loves me for me.”

As well as Paris being smitten with him, it seems her family are also impressed with Cy.

Mother Kathy said: “There have been a few guys Paris has dated that I have openly told her were wrong for her. But Cy is amazing.”

Paris – who was spotted looking at engagement rings with Cy last month – recently revealed she feels “broody” and would love to start a family with Cy.

She said: “I feel broody sometimes. I’d love kids in the future. Cy’s the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I’m so happy with him.”

Paris Hilton and Cy Waits went shopping for an engagement ring in New York City on Friday (18.02.11)

The loved-up couple were spotted in jewellers Jacob & Co. looking at several different sparklers, including a rare 30-carat blue diamond.

Despite inspecting the betrothal bands, the pair don’t have any happy news to announce just yet, but Paris did leave the store with a $25,000 black diamond-encrusted ring for her 30th birthday – which was on Thursday (17.02.11).

However, the hotel heiress insists it won’t be long until she and Las Vegas club owner Cy do commit to one another.

She told the New York Post newspaper: “We’ve talked about it (getting engaged). This is once in a lifetime. I want to be with him forever. And Cy has great taste. He just bought me a beautiful sports car.”

Paris was referring to the white Lexus LFA convertible supercar her boyfriend bought her for her birthday.

The blonde beauty topped off a week of partying by meeting her friend Denise Richards at Asellina restaurant on Thursday, before joining her family for a celebratory meal at top eatery Lavo.

Paris had one of her birthday cakes stolen by a musician known as ‘Paz’ from her Hollywood party on Tuesday (15.02.11).

Paris Hilton’s 30th birthday cake was stolen by a party-crasher

The hotel heiress threw a bash at V-Moda Fortress, a private house in the Hollywood Hills, on Tuesday night (15.02.11) and an uninvited guest, a Los Angeles musician only known as ‘Paz’, made off with the special treat.

Paz – who got into the bash through his “well-connected buddy Kevin” – decided to take the three-tiered red cake after realising it wasn’t being served to the 300 guests.

In a posting on his Facebook page – accompanied by a picture of the swiped sweet treat in his kitchen – he wrote: “I woke up this morning with a $2,000 birthday cake in my living room. It’s big. It’s red. It says ‘Paris’ and its f****** delicious … At an inebriated moment I decided no one was going to waste $2,000 worth of anything on my watch. I had to rescue that cake.”

Paz admits he had to come up with a scheme to get the cake out of the house without any of the security employed to “look for idiots” like him realising what he was doing.

But he managed to convince the head of security that he had been told to remove the desert and was soon in his car with his unusual loot.

He explained: “In one fluid motion, I sidestep a confused waiter, seize the prize, and face to the door. I pass the security chief again on the way out. I nod purposefully … he nods in return and 40 seconds later I’m in the front seat of a Nissan Maxima with 70lbs of awesome in my lap. Success!”

The cake was made for Paris – who reached the milestone age on Thursday (17.02.11) – by Lucid absinthe and the company are unhappy with Paz’s actions.

Jared Gurfein – CEO of Viridian Spirits, the company which makes Lucid – said in a statement: “It is very unfortunate that someone stole the cake from Paris’ birthday party. We had the cake designed especially for Paris with Lucid in the batter and a beautiful representation of Lucid’s artwork on it, which she had requested to meet the ‘Moulin Rouge‘ theme of the party.”

Paris – who was presented with another cake that was adorned with a photograph of her – was joined at the bash by her boyfriend Cy Waits, sister Nicky and parents Rick and Kathy, and a host of other guests including Kathy Griffin.

Paris Hilton’s boyfriend bought her a ruby and diamond necklace for Valentine’s Day (14.02.11)

The hotel heiress admitted she was spoilt by Cy Waits on the romantic day as the nightclub mogul treated her to expensive gifts as well as taking her for a romantic meal at BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles.

Speaking about her Valentine’s treats, Paris tweeted: “Just got home from a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner with my love. He gave me the most beautiful ruby and diamond necklace. Loves it. (sic)”

She then added: “I love Valentine’s Day! So romantic and sweet!  Hope everyone is having a lovely evening. xo Paris. (sic)”

Earlier this week, Paris – who turns 30 tomorrow (17.02.11) – insisted she had never been happier because her career is going well, she’s in a great relationship and is fitter than ever because Cy has become her personal trainer.

She said: “Life is great at the moment! I have my new show, ‘The World According To Paris’, starting soon; things with my boyfriend are great; and now I have a new weekly workout, which I love.

“Me and Cy have been training together for the past three months. It’s all new to me. I used to hate working out, but I started because it was something we could do together. I wanted to try something he enjoyed. He makes it fun for me.

“It’s great, because I get to spend time with Cy and we’re so happy together. We’re either in the gym or playing tennis and are always laughing, so the time just flies. And now I’ve realised how important it is to look after my body.”

Paris Hilton has reportedly taken up bodybuilding

The 29-year-old socialite – who showed off a larger, more muscular figure when she walked down the catwalk at a Brazilian fashion show last week – is said to have been inspired by her fitness fanatic boyfriend Cy Waits and is apparently now on a 3,500 calories a day diet to keep her energy levels up for her intense workouts.

A friend of the blonde star told Grazia magazine: “Paris has always preferred to stick to dieting all the time to maintain her figure. But since she’s been dating Cy, she’s got the bug. It’s a massive turnaround and now she’s working out so much that she’s often been seen on the treadmill drinking a milkshake.”

Paris’ new daily exercise routine – which includes weightlifting, bench presses and running on the beach with Cy, 35 – means she can now indulge in her favourite fast food treats after years of depriving herself.

Her friend said: “Paris has always loved junk food, but before she started working out to this extent, she had to deny her cravings. Now she feels she can indulge once in a while, as she’s burning so many calories.”

Paris is delighted with the changes in her body and is planning to keep up her new regime.

The source said: “She wants to change her image and get properly healthy. At first she was unsure and it took some getting used to, but now Paris loves her new body. And Cy loves it too – he’s always talking about how hot and gorgeous she is.”

Paris Hilton will show her “real” self in her new TV show

The 29-year-old heiress has promised ‘The World According to Paris‘ – which will air on US network Oxygen in the spring –will show her how she really is, unlike the “character” she created to appear with pal Nicole Richie on ‘The Simple Life’ between 2003 and 2007.

She said: “On ‘The Simple Life’, I was playing a character I kind of invented. I didn’t realise the show would last five seasons, so I had to keep doing it. I think people assume that’s really how I am in real life. But when I’m with my friends and my family is when I feel most comfortable and myself. In the show, it really shows the real Paris.”

Paris has been followed round-the-clock by cameras since October and the socialite believes the show will give a true account of her “crazy and fearless” life.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: “There are so many crazy things on the show, but one of the craziest is jumping out of a plane and skydiving,

“I’m fearless, and I live life to the fullest and feel like you only live once so you should make the most of it. Jumping out of a plane is the most incredible feeling in the world.

“We’ve been shooting since October-November, and it’s whole access into my life. I’m shooting from the moment I wake up until I go to bed at night.

“I kind of scream at them sometimes when they come in so early.”

Paris – who is dating Las Vegas nightclub boss Cy Waits – also revealed some conversations and arguments have been recorded that she “can’t believe the world is going to see” – and that some special guests will appear on the show.

Paris’ Boyfriend — Cited for Hit and Run

Paris Hilton’s boyfriend was cited for hit and run last night … after he hit a photog in a Bentley and then just drove off.

It all went down as paparazzi swarmed the car as Paris and Cy Waits left Boa in West Hollywood. The posse of paparazzi was all over the car, when suddenly Cy accelerated, knocking a photog down.

The couple took off after the hit and the photog called the cops. Paramedics were also called and took the female photog to a local hospital.

We’re told at some point later, Cy came back, sans Paris, and spoke with police.

Law enforcement sources tell us Cy was cited for hit and run, then allowed to leave.

And get this … sources say Paris is saying, “The pap is making up injuries.”

Paris Hilton has adopted 20 rabbits

The socialite – who already has a menagerie of animals including dogs, a hamster and a miniature pig – took pity on the furry creatures after learning they were being sold at a pet shop as snake food.

She tweeted: “Feeding My Bunnies a Late Night Snack

“The bunnies were meant to be feeders. I saw them at the petstore & they told me they were for snake food and I had to save them.

“I rescued 20 of them. They are now happy living in my backyard. They are all so happy, so nice to have changed their fate. (sic)”

Meanwhile, Paris’ friends have revealed she has finally grown up since her arrest for cocaine possession and has turned her back on partying.

The 29-year-old hotel heiress – who was charged with possession of the drug after it was found in her handbag when she and boyfriend Cy Waits were searched by police in Las Vegas last month – has apparently turned her back on partying and wants to live a quieter life.

A source told E! News: “She’s actually enjoying laying low. As bad as this whole experience has been, she feels like everything happens for a reason and that it really made her slow down and appreciate life.

“She finally feels like an adult and doesn’t miss the clubs or party scene. She’s turned down lots of offers to host parties.”

TMZ has obtained photos of Paris Hilton as she was being arrested by Las Vegas police last night.

Hilton and her boyfriend, Cy Waits, were arrested a little before midnight last nigh. Waits was booked on charges of DUI, while Hilton was busted for possession of a controlled substance … cocaine.

Paris was released on her own recognizance shortly after her arrest and has hired Vegas legal eagle David Chesnoff.

We’ve also obtained video of Paris as she was talking to cops. The crowd can be heard muttering about Paris — one person even remarks she looks better in person.

Paris Hilton’s BF Pulled Gun on Intruder

TMZ has learned … the man who allegedly attempted to break into Paris Hilton’s home this week was thwarted by Hilton’s boyfriend … who pulled a gun on the suspect before the dude could get inside.

Law enforcement sources confirm … Hilton’s BF — Vegas nightclub kingpin Cy Waits — told police that he and Paris heard loud banging noises coming from downstairs around 6:30 AM Tuesday … so he grabbed his gun and went to check out the situation.

We’re told Cy claims he spotted Nathan Parada peering through a window and carrying two knives – a large kitchen knife and a buck hunting knife.

Cy immediately went outside — with his weapon drawn — and ordered Parada to drop the knives and lay on his stomach.  We’re told Cy kept his gun pointed at Parada until cops arrived.

Law enforcement sources also tell us Parada told cops that he had purchased a Star Map on Hollywood Blvd. hours before the incident … because he wanted to find out where Paris lived.

We’re told Parada — who was booked for felony burglary — is currently in custody on a 5150 psychiatric hold.

Sources close to Paris tell us … ever since the incident, Hilton’s security team has installed several new cameras around the home … as well as infrared technology designed to spot intruders. Paris has also hired two new bodyguards to protect her around the clock.

According to our sources, Paris has told friends, “Thank God Cy was there, he saved my life.”

Asked what she uses to “tease” a new man – such as rumoured boyfriend Cy Waits - Paris said: “By spraying on some of my Tease perfume of course!

“I think just by being confident and believing in yourself. Having that certain flirty look you have to get down. You can practice in the mirror.”
