Kate Hudson doesn’t wear make-up unless she has a “big old zit”

The ‘A Little Bit of Heaven’ star prefers to have a natural look and claims she never spends hours in front of the mirror, only using concealer to hide the odd blemish on her face.

The 31-year-old actress said: “It’s kind of nice because I don’t like being made up, I feel like I’m a guy like that.

“I’m the kind of person who walks out of my house and doesn’t even think about putting on make-up, unless I have a big old zit, then I’ll try to cover it! But I’m not really a fussy person.”

However, Kate – who is mother to seven-year-old Ryder, her son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and is currently expecting her first child with her new boyfriend, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy – admits she sometimes wishes she wore make-up more often when she sees unflattering paparazzi shots of herself.

She added to Britain’s OK! magazine: “I pay for it sometimes, because when you’re getting your picture taken you think, ‘God, I really should have put on a little blush because that is just not OK’ But I can’t be bothered, who has got the time when you have kids? You’d rather be doing other things.”

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have secretly got engaged

The ‘Fool’s Gold‘ actress – who is 14 weeks pregnant with her first child with the Muse rocker – reportedly held an “intimate” bash to celebrate their union with their closest friends and family at an exclusive London hotel on Monday night (24.01.11).

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “It was an intimate party. They kept their engagement secret as they wanted to celebrate with their nearest and dearest before it became public knowledge.”

Kate’s Hollywood icon mother Goldie Hawn, 65, was believed to be among the guests in attendance after having been in the UK to present an accolade at the British Comedy Awards on Saturday night (22.01.11).

However, the couple – who have been dating for around nine months – could be set to move back to the UK on a permanent basis after Matt, 32, revealed plans for all of Muse to move to London to make writing and rehearsing for the band’s next album easier.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: “We’re all thinking of moving back to London, so it’ll be the first time we’re all going to be in the same place since we were much younger.

“It’ll make rehearsing a lot easier. Maybe in summer we’ll start getting into rehearsing and writing.”

Kate already has a seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson.

Kate Hudson and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy are house-hunting together.

The ‘Fool’s Gold‘ actress and the British rock star are looking for a property in New York after dating for just four months.

The couple have been inseparable since meeting at the Coachella Festival in California earlier this year and believe the time is right to set up home.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “They’re very loved-up, they just click.

“Kate’s had a place in the city for five years but she wants somewhere bigger, so Matt’s suggested pooling their resources.”

Kate wants the home to have a playroom for her six-year-old son Ryder – her child from her marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson -while Matt needs a studio to make music.

The source added: “Kate wants a studio for Matt and playroom for Ryder.”

Despite being snapped in public at the start of this year at a New York eatery, Kate and Matt decided to make their first official public appearance at the Glastonbury music festival in June – at which Muse was headlining.

The 31-year-old actress watched her man perform from the side of the stage and the loved-up pair spent the rest of their time at the famous event partying with pals.

Matt, 32, also met Kate’s mother, actress Goldie Hawn, earlier this month and admitted he was “quite nervous” beforehand.

And he also revealed marriage wasn’t out of the question.

He said: “We just have fun together and are seeing how it goes. Kate is great.

“It’s a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me in a few months though. I’ll let you know how it goes with Goldie – and then who knows?”

Kate Hudson is dating Matt Bellamy.

The ‘Fool’s Gold’ actress – who was most recently romantically linked with baseball star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez – has reportedly enjoyed a string of dates with the Muse frontman but has been trying desperately to keep their romance under wraps.

A source close to the British rocker said: “Matt has been over to America to hang out with Kate.

“But they have done everything they can to avoid being seen together in the early stages of their relationship.”

The couple were spotted having dinner together in a New York eatery earlier this week, but plan to make their first official pubic appearance together at the Glastonbury festival – which Muse are headlining – in Somerset, South England, later this month.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “Things are going so well Kate is planning to fly to the UK to hang out with Matt at the festival.

“She wants to watch the band from the side of the stage and meet his pals.”

Justin Bieber has been nominated for a Black Entertainment Television (BET) award.

The 16-year-old singer’s speedy rise to super-stardom, aided by R&B star Usher, has earned him a nod in the Best New Artist category at the upcoming ceremony, because he’s thought of as a “crossover” artist.

Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials, said: “Bieber has crossed the colour boundaries the same way that hip-hop has crossed the boundaries the other way for a number of years. He’s had rhythm in his music. He makes the type of music our audience likes.”

The awards – which generally only recognise black entertainers, singers, actors and athletes – will see Justin battle it out against fellow rising stars Nicki Minaj, B.o.B, Young Money and Melanie Fiona.

Rapper Jay-Z has the most nominations with five and will compete with wife Beyonce Knowles for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and the Viewers’ Choice accolade.

Other nominees include Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Kanye West.

Queen Latifah is set to present the ceremony which will air live on June 27 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Kate Hudson is reportedly dating three men.

The ‘Fool’s Gold’ actress is throwing herself into the single life following her split from baseball star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez – and has been growing increasingly close to photographer and cameraman Darren Ankenman, an unnamed stockbroker and Australian golfer Adam Scott.

However, the star’s ex-husband, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson – with whom she has a six-year-old son Ryder – is said to be unhappy with her behavior.

A source said: “Chris is concerned about Ryder and the effect all this dating will have on him. He knows there’s not much he can do about it. Kate enjoys the company of a man.”

Although little is known about the stockbroker, Kate met the other two guys while she was still seeing Alex, though did not get romantically involved with them until after her break-up.

The source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Kate met Darren when they were working on ‘Bride Wars’. They hit it off on the set, but nothing romantic happened until after she and Alex broke up during the winter.

“She was casually seeing both Alex and Adam at the same time, but she broke things off with Adam when she got serious with ‘A-Rod’. She recently got back in touch with Adam when he was in Los Angeles, and they’ve been seeing each other. They’ve always gotten along really well.”

The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and wife Allison Bridges welcomed a baby girl on Saturday (26.12.09) and both mother and daughter are doing well.

The baby – who was born at the couple’s Californian home – has been named Cheyenne Genevieve and weighed in at 6lbs 3oz.

Chris’ representative said: “Chris Robinson and his new wife, Allison, have a healthy and beautiful baby girl. Cheyenne Genevieve Robinson, 6lbs 3oz was born on December 26 2009 at the Robinsons’ home in California.”

Chris, 43, already has a five-year-old son, Ryder Russell, from his marriage to Kate.

In 2006, the couple divorced after six years of marriage and the following year, Chris started dating Allison.

Chris has spent the past year touring to support the Black Crowes’ latest album, ‘Before the Frost … Until the Freeze’ and he now intends to spend some time at home with his wife and daughter before the band start a new project and tour in 2010.

The ‘How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days’ actress and the New York Yankees baseball star are said to have called time on their seven-month relationship and Alex, nicknamed A-Rod, has been spotted out partying.

An onlooker at a Miami restaurant said of the sportsman’s behaviour over the weekend: “He flirted with a blonde all night at dinner and seemed very much single. They seemed very much done.”

Representatives for the couple are yet to comment, but a source said: “They are totally over.”

Kate, 30, recently appeared on a US chat show and while she didn’t disclose any details about the romance, she said Alex was a “nice” guy.

She was asked by the ‘Late Show’ host David Letterman, if she was a big Yankees fan and friends with Alex, to which she giggled and said: “Yeah, he’s a friend of mine. Nice guy.”

When the Hollywood actress was asked how they’d met she tried to change the conversation but finally caved in when she was asked if he was a nice guy.

She said: “Yeah, he’s a nice guy. You just can’t help yourself! You just can’t! I knew it was going to come at some point!”

Kate has a five-year-old son, Ryder, from her marriage to Chris Robinson while Alex has two young daughters with ex-wife Cynthia.

It had previously been claimed that she and Alex had taken steps to introduce their children as part of their plans to move in together.

Kate, 34, added to Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “If I walk out on the street with any man, I’m dating him. I’ve been dating two of my best friends from high school who are like girls to me.

The actress – who was on the red carpet in Leicester Square last night (03.12.09) for the London premiere of the musical comedy ‘Nine’, in which she plays a fashion journalist – said she would accept  role if it fitted in with her family life.

Kate – who has a five-year-old son Ryder from her marriage to rocker Chris Robinson – said: “I’ve had a really good year which is a kid of a good feeling, it’s the first year I’ve felt like that.

“I have thought about theatre, that would be fun. I would never shy away from that.

“As long as it’s the right opportunity and timing for my family, but you know, I could. The decision-making process to do something like that does become a lot harder but I would never shy away from that in the right circumstances.”

The 30-year-old star said she enjoyed the singing and dancing in ‘Nine’ so much that she wanted to do something involving that again.

She said: “I would love to, it was so fun. It’s like the most exhilarating, joyful thing in the world, it’s like ‘Oh my god!’.”

She also said it was the praise of her step-father Kurt Russell, who watched her during some of the filming, which provided the most memorable aspect of production.

She told BANG Showbiz: “My dad coming to watch, that was special, the first time he saw me, he was shocked. I think that’s my memorable moment.”

Talking about the shoot, Kate said: “Ryder would say to me, ‘I saw Penelope in the lobby today.’

Kate recently revealed how confident Ryder is and knows exactly what he wants.

“But the face painter didn’t do it exactly like that, and in the car later, Ryder was on the phone with his dad Chris and I said, ‘Tell daddy about your face.’ And he goes, ‘She did it totally wrong.’ I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He said, ‘They’re not mountain peaks, they’re hills. They’re not peaks, they’re not sharp.’ I told him, ‘Honey, but they look great.’ Then he replied, ‘No, mom. They’re hills.’ Oh yeah, he knows what he wants!”

A source said: “Kate is head-over-heels for Alex and he feels the same way. As long as things continue to be so great, they will get married. They are practically there already with the shared homes.”
