Ashton Kutcher is not “replacing” Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’

The ‘No Strings Attached’ star took over the leading role in the comedy series following Charlie’s public meltdown and spat with the show’s creator Chuck Lorre, and he admits he has been “lucky” to get the job and hopes he can do as “incredible” a job as the troubled actor.

He said: “I feel like the luckiest guy in the world. It’s always sort of nice to jump on something that’s already moving and successful and people have an appetite for it. It just seemed like the best job in the world.

“Here’s the thing. Charlie was incredible on that show and I can’t, there’s no way I’m going to replace Charlie Sheen. I’m not playing his character. But it’s the same people that have been making people laugh the last eight years are going to keep making people laugh.”

However, the 33-year-old hunk – who is married to actress Demi Moore – admits he was nervous about taking on the role as it meant leaving his film career behind for some time.

Speaking on CBS’ ‘The Early Show’, Ashton said: “I had apprehensions for several reasons. I have a relatively successful film career and I
knew it would shut down that for a minute. “I had a little apprehension about that because, when you have a good thing going, you don’t want to put the pause button in it.”

Charlie Sheen found it “tough” trying to fulfil ex-girlfriend Bree Olsen’s “insatiable” appetite for sex

The 24-year-old porn actress – who lived with the actor and his other ‘goddess’ Natalie Kenly at his Los Angeles home – would be happy making love “19 times a day” whereas Charlie was content having sex a couple of times a day.

Bree – who broke up with the 45-year-old star in April – said: “Charlie was a two-a-day kind of guy. I’m insatiable when it comes to my sexual appetite – and I wasn’t used to having to share.

“Charlie would try to keep up – but it was tough. I can just about get by on one-a-day – but would be happier having it 19 times a day.”

Bree also admits one of the main reasons she left Charlie was because she found it hard sharing him with Natalie, because his second girlfriend would always be “fighting for attention”.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, the 24-year-old blonde beauty added: “Sometimes he’d do it once with me and once with her. Sometimes he would want both of the times to be with me – and when Natty found out she’d get upset.

“She would spend the whole time fighting for attention and boast about things she had done like cleaning the dishes. She would get very upset and she would cry a lot.

“I was sleeping in the main bed with Charlie and for the first week or two she would get really upset. So I volunteered to sleep in the second bed for a bit to give them a chance.”

Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller — Officially Divorced

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are finally single — their rocky divorce becoming official today.

As we first reported, Charlie and Brooke filed the papers and worked out the details of their divorce a few months back. But a lot has changed since then, including drug binges on both sides, custody battles and a custody settlement. You’ll recall the agreement was modified to require random drug testing on both sides.

As for money and property … Brooke gets $55,000 a month in child support. The settlement docs specifically state that “under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to Denise Richards for Sam and Lola.”

Brooke got a lump sum of $757,698.70 and $1 million for her share of the family home, which Charlie gets to keep.

The divorce may be final, but there’s a good chance the battle between Charlie and Brooke will rage on.

Charlie Sheen — I’ve Never Done Heroin

Chuck Lorre must have the wrong monkey (*wink wink, nudge nudge) because Charlie Sheen tells us in no uncertain terms … he’s never done heroin!

Lorre took a not-so-veiled shot at Sheen on his vanity card at the end of “The Big Bang Theory” earlier this week. Lorre made reference to a monkey on the show behaving “increasingly erratic” and being “a heroin addict” — but we all know who he was really referring to.

But Sheen tells TMZ point blank, “I have never done or tried heroin in my life.”

And there you have it, straight from the monkey’s mouth.

Charlie Gets $$$ Advice From Lenny Dykstra … Really?

If you needed someone to drive you somewhere, would you pick the guy who crashed his car into a tree the week before? Of course not … so why then did Charlie Sheen enlist financial help from bankrupt former baseball star Lenny Dykstra?

According to real estate records, Sheen closed Friday on a $7 million house located in the exclusive Mulholland Estates … near where he lives now.

Sources close to Sheen tell TMZ … when it came to getting financing, he asked none other than Lenny Dykstra for help. Lenny worked as Charlie’s middleman to secure a loan.

Remember … Lenny filed for bankruptcy in 2009 after declaring he was between $10 million and $50 million in debt.

And ironically … Lenny’s $17.5 million home went into foreclosure. His Rolls Royce and jet got repossessed, etc. etc.

Oh yeah, it got so bad, one of his creditors tried to repo his dog.

Long Lost Whoopi Letter: Dear Charlie, Quit the Coke

Months after Charlie Sheen OD’d on coke back in 1998, Whoopi Goldberg sent him a note containing heartfelt words of support … and a REALLY bad joke — and TMZ has obtained the original letter.

The letter is postmarked February 1999 — less than a year after Charlie famously overdosed by injecting himself with cocaine — and it references the actor’s post-rehab “20/20″ interview, in which Charlie claimed to be off the drug.

Whoopi — who has publicly discussed her own battle with substance abuse — writes, “Saw your interview on ‘20/20.’ I’m so glad your path is clearer. Having lived on that path for many years, it’s good to know that you’ve gone in another direction.”

And now for the bad joke — Whoopi continues, “I’m keeping my fingers, eyes and butt (because it’s big enough now) crossed for your success.”

Unfortunately, it seems Whoopi’s words fell upon deaf ears.

Charlie Sheen will have a hell of a time selecting his intern — TMZ has learned Charlie has received more than 70,000 applications from people in 181 countries.

Earlier this week, Sheen announced he was looking for a “winning” social media intern to join his team for an 8-week paid internship.

According to a rep from Internship.com — the site Charlie is using to recruit his intern — 70,040 people applied from all over the world.

As for any potential risks associated with the gig — the rep tells us, “We always encourage candidates to research the company and position they’re applying for.”

Warner Bros. has just fired Charlie Sheen from “Two and a Half Men.”

Warner Bros. issued the following statement: “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately.”

The statement does not say if the show will go back into production.

Charlie Sheen has just made it official — he’s fighting Brooke Mueller in court tomorrow for custody … TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the case tell us … Charlie’s lawyer just gave Brooke’s attorneys notice that they will ask a judge Tuesday to undo the restraining order prohibiting Charlie from seeing his kids.

TMZ broke the story … settlement negotiations between Brooke and Charlie stalled this weekend, because of several issues including a requirement that a monitor be present when the kids are at Charlie’s home.

Charlie Sheen says his “kingdom” is ruled by the “goddesses”

The actor shares his Beverly Hills home with porn star Bree Olson and part-time model Natalie Kenly and he insists the trio are living the “dream”, regardless of what the world may think of their unconventional relationship.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, he said: “The goddesses rule. They rule the kingdom.

“I got a chance to label them before the world did and now they’re the goddesses. Those two are like the toughest cats in the room.”

Speaking about his alcohol and drug binges and wild sex life, he added: “I’ve simply been living the dream. The partying has been epic – what I can remember of it. It was entertaining as hell.”

Charlie Sheen: I’ll Keep Doing “Men”

Charlie Sheen believes in miracles — because he not only tells TMZ he’d gladly do another season of “Two and Half Men” … he’d also work with his boss Chuck Lorre again … you know, the guy he called a “piece of s**t” and challenged to a fight.

Shocking, we know … but Charlie — who’s under contract for one more season of “Men” — tells TMZ he’d definitely do season 9 as planned because, simply, he’s a man of his word.

And it doesn’t stop there — Charlie says he’s even on board to do a season 10 — IF they paid him $3 million an episode plus a $20 million signing bonus.

Charlie says he’d use the bonus to cover everything the “Men” staff lost after the current season was derailed.

Charlie Sheen’s “assistant,” Rick Calamaro, seemed a little unfazed by Charlie’s troubles Sunday … here he is wearing a shirt that kinda says it all … and most people around Charlie think that one of Charlie’s biggest problems is that he’s under the influence … of Rick.

TMZ knows … Calamaro partied with Sheen during his 36-hour bender last week. And Rick was right in the middle of things at The Plaza Hotel last October.

Charlie Sheen Rushed To Hospital

Charlie Sheen was just rushed to the hospital, TMZ has learned.

We’re told Charlie was taken out of his home on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance at 7 AM.

Two young women exited the house at the same time Charlie was taken out with a towel partially over his face.

The 911 call was placed at 6:35 AM.

Sources say Charlie was having severe abdominal pains which triggered the 911 call. Stan Rosenfield, Charlie’s publicist, tells TMZ Charlie was in the emergency room this morning — sleeping.

Charlie Sheen on the Set — Like Nothing Happened

TMZ has learned Charlie Sheen is back on the set of “Two and a Half Men” and is showing absolutely no sign he went on a major bender this weekend.

One source connected with the show tells TMZ, “He has the constitution of an ox,” adding, “He’s figured out a way of shutting down [the substance abuse] long enough so he can function normally when he has to. He’s a complete functioning addict.”

As TMZ first reported, Charlie was on a bender in Las Vegas over the weekend, partying with 3 porn stars. As one source involved in the situation tells TMZ, Charlie doesn’t believe he has a problem: “He’s having a good time. On the surface it’s the opposite of hitting rock bottom.”

Sources tell us people on his team talked to him on Friday about getting help for substance abuse, but Charlie would have none of it. By the way, we’re told the show Charlie taped on Friday is “great, and Charlie nailed it.”

Charlie arrived at 10:30 AM and is now on the set, rehearsing with Jon Cryer.

Charlie Sheen is supposed to be on the set of “Two and a Half Men” at 10 AM PT … exactly 2 hours from the time this story was posted. But TMZ has learned he’s still in Las Vegas.

TMZ broke the story … Charlie was on a bender over the weekend, holed up with 3 porn stars, including Bree Olson.

Charlie’s people, as well as suits from the studio … are deeply concerned for him. We’re told Charlie’s people have been trying to get him in rehab but he doesn’t think he has a problem.

Charlie hasn’t communicated with the people from “Two and a Half Men” yesterday or today.
