Lawsuit Imminent in Eva Longoria Car Crash

The guy whose car got tangled up with Eva Longoria’s thinks the “Desperate Housewives” star is solely to blame for their smash-up — and he’s getting ready to sue.

Attorney Sanjay Sobti tells TMZ he’s been retained by Roman Gasparyan (aka the other driver) claiming his client was stopped in the middle lane on Hollywood Blvd., waiting to turn.

Sobti says Longoria made a sudden turn in the middle lane and smashed into Gasparyan, crossing the median and nearly hitting another driver. Sobti claims an eye witnesses says Longoria’s eyes “were red and bloodshot.”

He says his client suffered back and neck pain, severe headaches, anxiety and blood pressure complications. Sobti says he’ll file a civil suit this week.

But our law enforcement sources tell a radically different story … that the other driver stopped suddenly and she Eva was unable to avoid impact.

A rep for Longoria had no comment.

Michael Weatherly In Car Crash

Michael Weatherly – one of the stars of “NCIS” — just got in a gnarly car accident near Universal Studios in L.A.

Witnesses tell TMZ … Weatherly was driving his very fancy BMW on the Barham Pass, which connects Hollywood with the San Fernando Valley, when the lanes merged and apparently another driver cut him off.

We’re told Weatherly ran his ride into a cement slab on a bridge. The front end is bashed in.

Weatherly seems okay — he’s on his cell phone right now.

An ambulance arrived but apparently it will be leaving without passengers.

Mel Gibson Car Crash — The 911 Call

TMZ has obtained the 911 call when Mel Gibson lost control of his Maserati and crashed into a hillside in Malibu last month.

As we previously reported, cops claim alcohol was not a factor in the crash – and Mel repeatedly told officers that he couldn’t explain how the car drifted off the road.

Mel Gibson in Car Crash

Mel Gibson acclimated back into L.A. life by getting into a car accident … this according to law enforcement sources.

Sources tell TMZ it happened yesterday at 8:35 PM in Malibu.  Gibson, we’re told, lost control of his car and ended up striking the rocky hillside on Malibu Canyon Road.

Gibson was driving a 2008 Maserati, which had to be towed from the scene.

According to the CHP report, obtained by TMZ, “For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside.  He stopped his car at the scene and was contacted by officers from the West Valley CHP Area.”

CHP Public Information Officer Leland Tang tells TMZ … “Gibson told officers in the field he did not know how the car drifted out of the lane and into the hillside.”  Tang said his officers followed up by asking Gibson if he was on a cell phone and he said no.  Tang adds officers also asked Gibson if he had dozed off “but he did not give a firm ‘yes’ or ‘no’.”  Gibson just repeated several times, “I don’t know how the car left the roadway.”

The report goes on, “Mr. Gibson supplied all the pertinent information to the officers at the scene, gave a statement, and received a ride home from a friend.”

Gibson was not hurt.

According to the report, “DUI is not suspected in the accident.”

As for the curious statement in the report … “For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside.” Tang tells TMZ his department was in no way trying to insinuate Gibson did it intentionally. Tang says, “It was totally an unintentional act.”  And Tang says no citation was issued and no charges will be filed.

Dennis Rodman — The Crash-termath Photos

Dennis Rodman survived one hell of a car crash — and now we have the pics that show just how lucky Dennis was to get out in one piece.

As TMZ first reported — Rodman was riding shotgun in a Range Rover while traveling down I-95 in Fort Lauderdale, FL when the Range busted a tire and flipped three times.

Rodman escaped with just a few scratches.

The socialite was driving to Disneyland in California with friends – who she calls the ‘I Don’t Give A F**K Crew (IDGAF)’ – when the driver lost control of the car, causing it to spin 360 degrees on a freeway.

Just minutes before the accident, the 20-year-old star tweeted: “Speeding like I have never, ever witnessed before on the freeway… feel like I’m in a scary car chase video game.”

This was quickly followed by: “Just actually experienced a full on car crash with the IDGAF crew. Wow, I guess we really don’t GAF.

“Honestly can’t believe we’re alive after that. And the front of the car is totally f***ed up and yet we’re still carrying on to Disney!?”

The female driver claimed the incident occurred when her foot “slipped” because she was so desperate to get them to the theme park promptly.

She told Peaches: “I was just trying to get us all to Disney on f***ing time! My creeper slipped on the pedals! It’s not my fault!”

Despite joking with friends on twitter about the crash, the blonde starlet was seemingly shaken up by the incident.

She wrote: “My last memories if we had all died following the epic crash – reading the NME, then screaming, clinging… what a way to go…”

Another member of the group, A.J. English – who posted a photograph of the damaged vehicle on his twitter account – was shocked the group had escaped without injury.

He wrote: “This is all that happened after a full 360 across three lanes of freeway traffic!?”
