Kelsey and Camille Grammer Settle Custody … For Now

TMZ has learned … Kelsey Grammer and his ex-wife Camille have settled their child custody dispute — but only temporarily. And make no mistake about it — they’re still at war.

Sources tell TMZ … the agreement outlines who gets the kids, when and where, etc. We’re told Camille will have both kids more than Kelsey, but the agreement accommodates Kelsey’s work schedule.

The kids will not be separated. You’ll recall, at one point Kelsey’s lawyer recommended that the couple’s son would fly to Chicago to stay with him, and their daughter would stay with Camille in L.A.

Our sources say the underlying issues between the couple have not been resolved — i.e., money and permanent custody.

We’re told Camille is bitter at the way Kelsey has treated her and the kids, while Kelsey is angry because he feels Camille has been disrespectful to his new wife.

Kelsey Grammer — Officially Divorced

This is usually the time when we say “Kelsey Grammer … “officially single” — but since he’s planning on marrying his new girlfriend by the end of the month … it’s just a quick time-out.

TMZ has learned Kelsey and Camille Grammer’s divorce was finalized moments ago — after a judge in L.A. County Superior Court signed the divorce decree.

As we previously reported, Kelsey wanted a quickie divorce so he could marry his girlfriend Kayte Walsh. We’re told Kelsey and Camille will work out their property settlement issues at a later date.

In order to get the divorce, Kelsey had to post $2.3 million, which protects Camille’s pension rights against any new spouse.

Kelsey Grammer is planning to go on a road trip for his honeymoon

The former ‘Frasier’ star – who is currently in the process of divorcing third wife Camille Grammer – is set to marry fiancee Kayte Walsh next month and wants to celebrate their union with a tour of America.

Speaking on US TV talk show ‘Live! with Regis and Kelly’ about his post-wedding plans, Kelsey said: “It’s a road trip across the country. Kayte’s from England and she has a great love for America and she wants to see some of the things that actually I haven’t seen.

“We’re going to go to Mount Rushmore, Yosemite, Santa Fe, and take in Las Vegas, ‘cause, you know, of my gambling addiction. We’re really looking forward to it.”

However, Kelsey, 55, says there won’t be any arguments about the entertainment for when they’re behind the wheel as he’s leaving that all up to 29-year-old Kayte.

He said: “Kate’s actually in charge of the music.”

Before he can marry the former flight attendant, Kelsey needs to get his divorce from Camille finalised, which is set to happen on February 7.

Last month, Camille – mother of two of his children, Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jude – reportedly rejected a $30 million divorce settlement as it didn’t include alimony or child support for their two kids.

Following his split from Camille last July after 14 years of marriage, Kelsey started dating Kayte but in October, tragedy struck as she miscarried their first child together.

Kelsey Grammer’s estranged wife thinks it’s “crazy” the actor is planning to get married next month

Camille Grammer – the mother of two of the former ‘Frasier’ star’s children, Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jude – is shocked at his decision to tie the knot with fiancee Kayte Walsh in February as she is not ready to move on.

She told US TV talk show host George Lopez: “It’s crazy, crazy. I don’t want to get married again, I need time. And no I’m not dating anybody.”

Kelsey – who has already been divorced twice – recently revealed he plans to marry former air hostess Kayte next month even though his divorce from Camille is yet to be finalised.

Speaking about his relationship with Kayte, Kelsey said: “The kids seem to be doing OK. We’ve been spending quite a bit of time with them, Kayte and I. Kayte’s my new girl, and we’re planning to get married soon. Sometime in February.”

However, Kelsey’s plans were put in jeopardy as Camille had asked a judge to deny the 55-year-old star’s motion to dissolve their marital status while they continue to fight over their $120 million estate.

The former Playboy model claimed Kelsey is only requesting the quick divorce “solely for the reason that he intends to remarry as soon as possible”.

Camille Grammer: Schizo On ‘Housewives’ Decision

Camille Grammer is leaning toward “walking away” from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” — so says a source closely connected with C.G. … and we’ve learned it’s not the first time she’s thrown in the towel.

Sources involved in the production of the show tell TMZ Camille walked off the show several times during the taping, saying she was “done with the show.” In at least one case, scenes had to be shot without her. But every time, Camille had a change of heart and returned.

As TMZ first reported, Camille’s lawyer, Larry Stein, got Bravo to give her an “out” for Season 2, at her option … and she has ’til the end of the month to exercise it. We’re told Camille will wait to see how she’s portrayed in the reunion show before making her decision. Bravo hasn’t officially announced Season 2 is a go, but it seems like a foregone conclusion.

As one person connected with the show tells TMZ, “She’s crazy. She changes her mind from one minute to the next. Whatever she says now means nothing because she thinks something different tomorrow. Who knows.”

We think Camille likes the publicity … good and bad — likes it a lot.

Camille to Kelsey: You’re Not Divorcing Me Yet!

Camille Grammer just fired off a legal response asking the judge to reject Kelsey Grammer’s request to get a quickie divorce — and estimates the estate’s value at $120 million … TMZ has learned.

Camille says in her declaration, Kelsey is trying to bifurcate the divorce (get a quick decree now and work out the property settlement later) “…solely for the reason that he intends to remarry as soon as possible.”

Camille continues, “I don’t believe this is a sufficient reason to prejudice my rights to the community estate.”

In the docs, Camille also lists their assests — including “multiple real estate properties” and more than 25 vehicles.

The rest of the declaration gets pretty technical, but the bottom line is this … it looks like Camille’s lawyers believe Kelsey’s papers don’t square with the legal requirements for a quick divorce decree.

Kelsey Grammer — Drag Queen Karaoke

Days before Camille Grammer made her cross-dressing insinuations about her ex Kelsey — the “Frasier” star was singing karaoke with a drag queen in NYC … and TMZ has the footage.

It all went down at Hurley’s Saloon on Sunday night … after a performance of the cross-dressing play “La Cage aux Folles.”

Kelsey rolled over with his new fiancee … grabbed the mic from a drag queen named “Lilly” and belted out the James Taylor classic, “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight.”

For the record … Grammar was wearing men’s clothing during the performance — and he NAILED the song!

Camille Grammer to Bravo: I’m Now Ready to Walk

Camille Grammer has negotiated a settlement with Bravo, which gives her the ability to leave “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” immediately, TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the show tell TMZ, Camille hired the famous Larry Stein, Esq., who has repped Rob Lowe, Eva Longoria, Timbaland and many other celebs, to sit at the bargaining table with Bravo.

As we reported … Camille wanted off the show because she feels she was portrayed as a hateable woman … not representative of who she really is.

According to Camille’s deal, Bravo had the right to either pick up her option for season 2 or cut her, but the contract didn’t give Camille the right to walk. Stein went to Bravo and argued the network misrepresented to Camille the way she would be portrayed and therefore she was fraudulently induced into signing on.

TMZ has learned … a few days ago Stein got Bravo to give Camille an out in her deal, allowing her to walk right now.

We’re told Camille’s intention is to leave the show, but she won’t formally exercise her option until the reunion show airs later this month. The subtext — if Bravo has any hope of keeping Camille they better be nice in the editing bay.

Stein could not be reached for comment.

Kelsey Grammer’s Wife: Miscarriage of Justice

Camille Grammer, Kelsey Grammer’s estranged wife and star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” feels “absolutely humiliated” over Kelsey’s girlfriend, and feels her recent miscarriage is all part of bad Karma.

Sources who interact with Camille on the show’s production tell TMZ … she feels “very bitter and the bitterness has been growing” over Kelsey’s sudden decision to pull the plug on their marriage.

We’re told Camille feels sad about Kayte Walsh’s miscarriage, but believes it’s all part of the cosmos — what goes around, comes around.

And, we’re told, although the show reveals some of the bitterness, “It’s way deeper than people watching would know.”

Kelsey Grammer — No Prenup!!!

TMZ has learned … Kelsey Grammer took a page out of Larry King’s playbook, and got hitched to Camille without a prenup.

It’s pretty stunning, since during the run of “Frasier” Kelsey was the highest paid actor on TV ... making $1.6 mil an episode at the end of the show’s 11-year run.

As we first reported, Kelsey is asking that some of his “Frasier” money be declared his separate property.  Turns out, he was married in 1997, four years after the series launched.  So Kelsey’s separate property request only covers the first 4 years.  His earnings for the remaining 7 years, as well as much of the syndication money, will be considered community property.

Going 50/50 is risky business, when you’ve already been married twice before. Camille is Kelsey’s third wife.

Kelsey Grammer Wants ‘Frasier’ Money to Himself

Kelsey Grammer has just filed court docs in his divorce case, asking the judge to acknowledge he has sole financial interest in the television series, “Frasier.”

Grammer is claiming various other separate property assets, but “Frasier” is the big ticket item specifically mentioned in the legal docs obtained by TMZ.

And Grammer is asking for joint legal custody of the couple’s two kids.

As we first reported, Camille Grammer filed for divorce on July 1 and asked for primary physical custody.

Kelsey Grammer Was Done with Marriage

Sources tell TMZ … Kelsey Grammer made it clear to his wife … he didn’t want to be married anymore, and his actions on Father’s Day pushed Camille over the line.

TMZ broke the story … Camille Grammer filed for divorce yesterday, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … the 13-year marriage started crumbling when Kelsey moved to New York earlier this year to star in “La Cage Aux Folles” on Broadway.

Camille stayed with their two kids in L.A. and flew back and forth to visit him, but sources say it became apparent “Kelsey loved New York, his friends and his freedom more than his marriage.”

We’re told the tipping point for Camille was Father’s Day, when Kelsey was 2,475 air miles away from his family and didn’t call his kids.

As one source said, “She doesn’t know what Kelsey is doing in New York, but he’s made it pretty clear he wants nothing to do with marriage anymore,” adding, “She didn’t see it coming.”

Kelsey Grammer’s Wife Files for Divorce

TMZ has learned … Kelsey Grammer’s wife, Camille Grammer has filed for divorce.

The divorce petition was just filed by her lawyer, Neal Hersh. She is seeking joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their children.

Camille is citing “irreconcilable differences.”

She is seeking spousal and child support.

The couple was married in August, 1997.  They have two kids.

Camille is a member of the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
