Bruce Willis plays the “lamest hitman in the world” in ‘Looper’

The ‘Die Hard’ star plays a contract killer, or Looper, in the new time-travel thriller – in which his character executes people before they technically exist – but director Rian Johnson warns that doesn’t mean it’s a glamorous role.

He said: “In truth, a Looper is more of a garbage man. They have the lamest hitman job in the world. Calling a Looper a hitman makes it romantic.” Explaining the film’s time-travel theme a little further, the director – whose previous credits include ‘Brick’ and ‘The Brothers Bloom’ – explained the concept will be “very illegal” in the movie, but only in the future.

He added: “In the film time travel won’t have been invented yet, but 30 years down the line from that it definitely will be – and when it is it’s going to be very illegal. “It will also be difficult to dispose of a body, so criminals will have to go back in time and assemble a team of assassins, called Loopers.

“They kidnap the guy, zap him back 30 years and the Looper shoots them dead. Its’ the perfect crime! The Looper kills someone who doesn’t technical exist yet, so that person vanishes from the future.” The film will also see Bruce and Joseph Gordon Levitt playing the same character in different times. ‘Looper’ is set for release in 2012.

Bruce Willis Denies Owning a Bad Rug

Bruce Willis claims he’s no rug killer … and the accusations that he had anything to do with the brutal, wine-stained death of a super-expensive Italian rug are pure BS.

Willis has fired back at a rug dealer who’s suing him for allegedly spilling red wine all over a $27,700 rug Bruce was road testing for his L.A. area apartment.

According to the suit, Bruce refused to pay for the rug.

Bruce admits in legal docs — filed in L.A. County Superior Court — the rug was indeed in his home for almost two months — but he’s adamant he kept it clean.

Still, Willis claims he offered to clean the rug — but the company refused the offer.  Willis also insists he was never the proud or not-so-proud owner of the rug.

Now, Willis wants the judge to toss the suit — and wants the rug company to pay his legal bills.

Ashton Kutcher snubbed Demi Moore when they first met.

The ‘Ghost’ actress admits she took a shine to her future husband as soon as she saw him at a party in 2003 but claims the actor had his sights set on someone else.

She said: “The first night I met him he didn’t have two words to say to me – he had a singular focus and it was on somebody else.”

However, Demi – who, at 47, is 15 years Ashton’s senior – says her fortunes changed two weeks later after she ended up at a party in Ashton’s hotel room.

Demi – who has three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, with ex-husband Bruce Willis – says she left the suite to phone her children, which won Ashton over.

She added on US TV show ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’: “All of a sudden the door to the hotel opened and he said, ‘That is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard,’ and closed the door. And I said, ‘OK, this is somebody different.’ ”

The pair then got to know each other through a series of text messages and Demi believes it provided them with the foundations for a great marriage.

She added: “And now we’ve been together seven years.”

Demi recently revealed how she never thought she could love anyone as much as she loves Ashton.

She said: “My husband is an amazing human being and I’m really almost speechless when I try to describe him. There aren’t words to wrap up the amazing gift we’ve found in each other. I have experienced a love that I truly only imagined. We just fit. He loves me – and the best thing is that he loves me at my most vulnerable, at my most unglamorous and at my least attractive in always, not just physically. I feel wanted.”

The ‘Ghost’ actress – who, at 46, is 15 years older than her husband – says the love he shows her gives her the confidence to try things she’s never done before.

She said: “The most overwhelming part of meeting someone that you already felt you had such a deep and old connection with is that your feelings are greater than the time you’ve had to actually be with one another.

“Now we’ve had the physical time together. The love he has for me makes me a better person by giving me the courage to take risks. I can fail and have someone who loves me just the same. I never knew it was quite possible.”

Demi – who has three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis – also says she can’t understand the fuss made about the age gap with Ashton.

She told W magazine: “I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl.

“I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?’ ”

The ‘House Bunny’ actress has landed a guest role in ‘90210′ which will see her character Gia embark on a relationship with teenage mother Adrianna, played by Jessica Lowndes, in a forthcoming storyline on the US TV show, but bosses have denied it is a bid to boost ratings.

The show’s executive producer Rebecca Sinclair said: “This isn’t a fling. We’re coming at this relationship from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’

“This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting. And there’s been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”

Rumer – the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis – is due to guest star in the show for three episodes.

Jessica admits she is terrified about filming the scenes.

She said: “I’ve never kissed a girl before so it’s a little nerve-racking.”

Jessica is not the only actress who has had reservations about shooting same-sex love scenes.

‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress Amanda Seyfried found it “weird” when she was forced to smooch with her co-star Megan Fox.

She said: “It is just weird. It is a woman. With a woman’s smell – soft and floral-y – and maybe the pheromones are different. Something about it felt uncomfortable for me.”

The 46-year-old actress and her 31-year-old husband believe they have a successful marriage because they are grateful for the time they spend together and try never to look beyond the present.

When asked what the secret to her happy relationship was, Demi replied: “I think that’s too big of a question to take on right now. I like to look at where I am in the present moment as being the highlight.”

Despite trying not to plan for the future, Demi – who has three daughter with ex-husband Bruce Willis – recently admitted she and Ashton have discussed having children of their own one day.

She said: “Why not? Everything is possible! We have so much to live for, and obviously one of them is to have a child. I’m very enthusiastic about all the possibilities that living together gives us.

“I’m an incurable optimist and a go-getter – it’s in my nature to focus much more on what makes me happy than what makes me nervous.”
