Emergency at ‘Dancing’ Over Powder Substance

A rep for ABC tells TMZ the substance was determined to be talcum powder by the LAFD and adds, “Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel.”

A rep for the FBI tells TMZ … “The L.A.P.D., L.A. City and FBI Hazardous Materials officials responded to a report of a threatening letter containing white powder received at CBS Studios in Los Angeles.”

The rep continues, “Initial field screening was negative for hazardous substances but will be transported to a regional lab for further testing. A joint investigation is continuing.”

Cops and other emergency responders raced to CBS Television City studio late Friday after a white powder substance was discovered by a member of the “Dancing with the Stars” staff … and sources tell us Bristol Palin may have been the intended target.

Law enforcement sources tell us a powder substance was discovered by a member of the “Dancing” staff … and sources connected to the show tell us a section of the studio containing “Dancing” offices was evacuated.

Two sources connected to the show tell us the powder was contained in a piece of fan mail addressed to Bristol Palin.

Rick Fox has become the seventh contestant to be eliminated from ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The retired basketball player and his professional partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated last night (02.11.10) despite gaining 24 points, their highest score in the competition for their quickstep on Monday’s (01.11.10) special 200th episode.

A visibly disappointed Rick said: “We were the couple going home. It’s a lot of work put in; you don’t visualise going home, you visualise being here every week. But it’s now something that both Cheryl and I are processing for the first time.

“Not having to go to the studio to rehearse tomorrow? That’s a hard pill to swallow.”

Despite his elimination, Rick admitted he had loved the experience saying it changed his life.

He explained: “It’s been a transformational journey for me, it’s been amazing. My relationship has transformed with my girlfriend and my daughter.”

Elsewhere, poorly-performing couples Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, and Kurt Warner and partner Anna Trebunskaya were saved for yet another week, kept afloat by viewer votes – which are combined with the judges’ scores to produce the final results.

Bristol said: “I’m relieved and shocked. Can’t believe we made it to another week, but I’m thankful for the fans that voted for us.”

The results show featured musical performances by country music star Taylor Swift and singer Rod Stewart.

The eighth round of `Dancing With The Stars’ will take place next Monday (08.11.10).

Levi Johnston: Palin Not Qualified for Presidency

Levi Johnston is once again going after his baby mama’s mama – telling TMZ he believes Sarah Palin is “not qualified” to be the next President of the United States of America.

Levi — who’s plotting his own quest for public office in Wasilla, Alaska — is responding to a statement Palin made earlier this week in which she said she would run for Prez, “If there’s nobody else to do it.”

Johnston tells us, “That makes no sense because someone always runs for President” … adding, “[Sarah] wouldn’t go through with a campaign even if she was nominated.”

As for Johnston’s political stance — we’re told Levi’s “leaning towards McAdams” … the Democratic candidate for Senate in Alaska … who’s running against Palin-backed Republican Joe Miller.

So much for a re-reconciliation with Bristol …

We got another The TooFab Q&A for you today — and this time we’re going one-on-one with “Dancing with the Stars” professional Lacey Schwimmer.

In a candid conversation with TooFab’s Brian Particelli, Lacey talked about Audrina Patridge’s shocking elimination, spilled a Kyle Massey secret and revealed possible plans to go TPing on Halloween!

On her chances of winning with partner Kyle Massey …
“You never have any idea with this show. Obviously, we ‘d love to be at the end, but at the same time we’re happy we’ve made it this far!”

On Audrina’s elimination …
“She’s so lovable and so sweet and was doing amazing on the show. I was definitely shocked to see her go. At this point in the game though, we’re shocked no matter what. We’re like a family, we never want to see anybody go. She’ll be really missed.”

On why Bristol Palin’s lasted so long, despite low scores …
“She’s more of the underdog and she knows she’s the underdog. She’s working her butt off, she’s sweet and such a great girl, she’s having a blast.”

On dancing with Kyle …
“He’s like a little brother. He’s super fun at all of our rehearsals. And I totally understand how my mom felt raising me and my brother.”

On what we haven’t seen on the show …
“Kyle has a basketball he named Jacko Wilson. It can’t leave his sight during rehearsals. He’ll go talk to it for 5 minutes. We play basketball, kickball with Jacko. It’s really fun.”

On their toughest competition …
“At this point, it’s hard to say. We’re all really consistent at this point, but there are ones that will definitely make it to the finale, like Jennifer [Grey].”

On coming back next season …
“I don’t know. I would love to if they asked me. It’s such a great gig, but you never know where a few months takes you.”

On what’s next …
“I have a bunch of little projects, including a dancewear/costume line, a bunch of musical projects and acting projects.”

Her Halloween plans …
“Probably nothing. Halloween lies on a Sunday, so Monday we’re live. I’ll probably be sitting around my house watching scary movies with my boyfriend sadly. Maybe we’ll dress up and go scare people. Or toilet papering. I love toilet papering. It’s such a favorite pastime of mine!”

To her fans …
“Thank you for everyone who’s keeping up the show, we hope we’re keeping things interesting!”

Kelly Osbourne is tipping Bristol Palin to win ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The presenter – who credits taking part in the celebrity dance contest last year with her remarkable weight loss – said she hopes the 19-year-old single mother dances her way to victory.

She said: “I have a real soft spot for Bristol Palin and was a bit heartbroken to see that her mother, US politician Sarah Palin, was not in the audience during that first week.”

Kelly – whose parents are Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne – also admitted she was impressed that Bristol performed so well without family support.

She said: “It’s such an exhausting show- physically and emotionally – and it’s really important that you can look out into the crowd and see a supportive face cheering you on. So I really give her credit for getting out there and doing it on her own.”

Kelly is enjoying watching this year’s contest but was upset to see David Hasselhoff voted off the show first.

She added: “I love this season’s cast and was pretty shocked to see The Hoff voted off so early on.”

Bristol Palin — Bar Controversy is ‘Nacho’ Problem

Bristol Palin already has a cheesy excuse for why she was inside a bar in Alaska last week even though she’s under 21 — and it all comes down to nachos.

A state investigator is reportedly looking into a “Dancing with the Stars” segment that 19-year-old Bristol taped inside Rumrunners Ole Towne Bar and Grill on Thursday.

But a source extremely close to Bristol tells TMZ … “The place is also a restaurant … so under 21 is allowed under Alaska law if accompanied by a person over 21, which she was.” Bristol was with her partner Mark Ballas during the segment — and he’s 24.

And here’s the rub — our source is adamant, “Bristol had nachos only.”

So far, the Alaska Department of Public Safety has no official comment on the situation.

Sarah Palin To Appear at ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Sarah Palin will be in the audience to cheer on her daughter, Bristol, for Monday’s season opener of “Dancing with the Stars” … sources connected with the show tell TMZ.

Our spies say security has been “beefed up” for Sarah’s appearance.

And get this … We found out the song Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas will dance to — in front of Mama Palin. It’s Three Dog Night’s, “Mama Told Me (Not to Come).” Classic.

We’re told Bristol will wear glasses and a conservative outfit but tear off her clothes mid-dance … just like in the old days.

Mark Ballas on Bristol Palin: What, Me Worry?

Some of Mark Ballas’ comrades on “Dancing with the Stars” tell TMZ … Marky Mark has been grousing that his partner, Bristol Palin, has been missing so many practices that his performance with her could be downright embarrassing.

Our sources tell us Mark canceled Monday’s rehearsal because of a party for his mother. But Bristol canceled Tuesday because she had committed to giving a speech. And Bristol canceled Wednesday because her son, Tripp, was ill. And she was only able to practice a half day on Thursday.

Some members of the cast tell us … Mark is worried the newbie just won’t cut it when the show premieres a week from Monday.

But there’s another side to this story … sources connected with the show tell us Mark was really happy with Bristol’s progress on Friday and they will be practicing the entire weekend and every day next week until the first live TV show.

On the bright side, if Bristol falls flat, she could get appointed to some position in Wasilla.

Levi — Bristol Never Danced with Me!

Levi Johnston says he’s totally shocked that Bristol Palin agreed to do “Dancing with the Stars” – because dude tells us they never, ever danced while they were together … not even once!

Despite their recent split, Levi claims he has “nothing but warm wishes” for Bristol on the show … even though she’ll be spending lots of quality body grinding time with another man … Mark Ballas.

As for their kid — Tripp has moved to Los Angeles with mommy while Levi works on his reality show in Wasilla, AK. In fact, a source close to Bristol tells us she’s already hired a nanny to watch Tripp while she gets her practice on.

So far, it’s unclear if Bristol can count on a vote from her ex when the competition begins.

The Situation’s Gonna Be Late to the ‘Dance’

The Situation’s “Dancing with the Stars” career has already hit a major setback — TMZ has learned dude will get significantly less time to practice for the show … all thanks to “Jersey Shore.”

Sources connected to The Situation tell us the “stars” are scheduled to begin rehearsing on Monday — but since Sitch still has serious “Jersey Shore” obligations (taping, appearances, etc) that dude won’t be able to slip on his Capezios until at least September 8.

… and since it’ll probably take a couple more days to shake that nasty “Jersey Shore” hangover … who knows when Sitch could be ready to begin practicing for the September 20 premiere.

Bottom line — Sitch will get almost half the prep time as Bristol Palin, Kurt Warner, David Hasselhoff and Audrina Patridge … then again, he’s the only one with a job.

So will Situation be hoisted by his own unitard?

Levi Johnston Targets Voters — At Gun Shop

Levi Johnston made his first official stop on the campaign trail last weekend — TMZ has learned … just one day after declaring his intent to run … the ex-Playgirl model hit up a gun shop in an effort to connect to his people.

According to a source at Chimo Guns in Wasilla, Alaska — where Levi plans to run for office — the famous Palin-impregnator rolled up with a camera crew and played like a politician … glad-handing everyone and taking advantage of the photo op.

Our source tells us, Levi — a loyal Chimo customer — also checked out a few guns — including a $2,000 Weatherby Ultra Lightweight hunting rifle — but ultimately didn’t buy anything.

We’re told Levi talked with some of the employees at the shop about hunting — but according to our source, the political hopeful hasn’t had any time to kill some Dall sheep (Levi’s game of choice) … probably because of the whole reality show thing.

As TMZ first reported — Levi recently filed his letter of intent with the state of Alaska … so he could officially start hitting up the public for campaign donations.

Levi Johnston — Now Accepting Donations

Levi Johnston has been granted the right to beg you for a campaign donation … because he’s filed his official “letter of intent” to run for “state or municipal office” in Alaska in the 2011 elections.

In the documents, filed on Friday with the Alaska Public Offices Commission, Johnston states that he intends to run for a position in the City of Wasilla.

Levi doesn’t specify which position he’s running for … but he’s previously stated that he wants to become the next mayor …a position once held by his baby mama’s mama Sarah Palin.

By filing the document — Levi is permitted to officially begin his campaign … which means dude can legally accept campaign contributions.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston Strike Custody Deal

TMZ has learned … Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have reached a settlement in their custody case.

Under the deal, filed with an Alaska Superior Court, Bristol will get primary physical custody of Tripp.  Levi will have visitation, between 9 AM and 4 PM on Saturdays and 12 PM and 6 PM on Wednesdays.

Levi has to pay Bristol child support.  The amount isn’t stated, but the agreement says the calculation is based on earnings of $72,000 a year.

And get this … Under the agreement filed with the court, the parties agree not to “speak badly about the other parent in front of the child … or allow anyone else to speak badly about the other parent or members of their family in front of the child.”

And it goes on… “The parties agree that they shall not allow the child to visit with, or interact with, any family member who publicly … or in front of the child, criticizes the other parent or the other parent’s family.”

Levi — The Video That Doomed His Engagement

TMZ has uncovered the storyline for the music video starring Levi Johnston that pissed off Bristol Palin so much — that she considered it the “final straw” in her engagement.

As we previously reported, Bristol claimed she was furious when she found out Levi was doing a video “mocking my family” … and dumped him soon after.

Now, we’ve obtained the “script” for the video in question — for a song called “After Love” by Brittani Senser — in which Levi plays a man who is seemingly threatened by his lover’s mother … in order to get him to get out of her daughter’s life.

But here’s the part that may have REALLY pissed off Bristol — in the video, the girl’s mother uses a police officer to arrest Levi and drag him to an empty parking lot … where she confronts him and forces him to open a mysterious manila envelope.

Levi opens the package — and his face turns “pale” at its contents.  The mother then makes Levi call up her daughter and break things off … with the insinuation that she would expose something if he refused.

Levi has previously denied the video was “mocking” the Palins … but what do you think?.

Levi Johnston — Lost a Fiancee, Gained a Reality Show

Levi Johnston is no longer engaged to Bristol Palin — but he’s got a sweet new reality show deal to help him get over it.

Sources close to Johnston tell TMZ he signed a new reality deal this weekend, one that doesn’t include everyone’s favorite unwed teen mother from Alaska.

We’re told Levi will actually begin shooting in Los Angeles on Monday and then cameras will follow him back to Alaska. No word yet on what the exact format will be, though several networks are said to be interested.

Bristol Palin Moves Back in with Mom

TMZ has learned Bristol Palin has already moved back in with her parents in the wake of her split with her baby daddy Levi Johnston … but we’re told Levi thinks the whole thing is a giant “misunderstanding.”

According to Levi’s manager, Tank Jones, Bristol doesn’t exactly have her story straight … and that Levi believes the two broke up over a “misunderstanding” and “misinformation.”

Jones tells us Levi is definitely not the father of an unborn illegitimate baby of an ex-girlfriend. He also tells us that Levi did not shoot a music video “mocking” the Palins … despite what Bristol told People.com.

As for their 19-month-old son Tripp, Tank tells us Levi will continue to co-parent with Bristol and “take care” of his financial obligations.

Tank also notes that Levi is “not happy” about the split — and tells us he wouldn’t be surprised if the two eventually got back together sometime in the future.

Meanwhile, we’re told Bristol has already moved back into Sarah and Todd Palin’s home in Alaska.
