The superstar couple raise six children together – Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – and the ‘Moneyball’ actor admits the chaos of their household can sometimes be too much.

Referring to the 1975 movie set in a mental institution, he told TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “Did you ever see the movie ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’? That’s morning time in our house.

“We find our time. We carve out Mommy, Daddy time… It’s called a hotel. You got to get out of this house. You got to leave.”

Angelina recently revealed she can never have a bath in peace because the kids are always bothering her but insists she copes well with having such limited time alone.

She said: “You try to take a bath alone and everybody comes in.

“You just give it up. I’ve shocked myself because I’m somebody that likes to be on my own. But I’m surprised how much I’m very happy to be surrounded by everybody in my family.

“It’s alright. I feel that comfort.”

Brad Pitt is “amazed” to star in baseball film ‘Moneyball’ because he knows so little about the sport

The 47-year-old actor plays former Major League player and Oakland Athletics manager Billy Bean in the film but admitted in real life he chose wrestling and diving over baseball at high school.

He told Sports Illustrated magazine: “It’s shameful how little I know about baseball. I’m amazed they let me do this movie. “Baseball and I didn’t get along that well. I wrestled one year in high school. I dived one year. Everything but baseball.”

However, he was attracted to the role because it is based around his home state and gave him a chance to tell a good underdog story. He added: “I’m an Oklahoma-Missouri boy, so I’m no stranger to a bit of dip. So really, I was just revisiting my roots. I’m a sucker for the underdog story.”

Brad feels the film is unconventional by today’s Hollywood standards, and instead compares it to 70s movies ‘The French Connection’, ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ and ‘All the President’s Men’. He said: “What we were trying to do is tell an unconventional story in the Trojan horse of a conventional baseball movie.

“In scripts today, someone has a big epiphany, learns a lesson, then comes out the other side different. “In these older films I’m talking about, the beast at the end of the movie was the same beast in the beginning of the movie. “What changed was the world around them, by just a couple of degrees.”

The couple – who raise six kids, Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne together – have enlisted the services of the ex-members of Special Air Service unit and have also installed a £150 million state-of-the-art security system after learning organised crime gangs from Russia and Italy are targeting rich foreigners in the area.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Brad has hired a crack team of ex-SAS guys to protect them and they watch over the property like hawks around the clock.

“They can see what is happening as all the cameras hooked up to the TV screens have movement sensors. They work via wi-fi so can’t be disarmed.”

The property – which boasts his-and-hers gyms, a Jacuzzi, sauna, billiards room and a huge banqueting suite – now is said to look like “something out of a James Bond movie” after being kitted out with fingerprint recognition gadgets.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “There’s even fingerprint recognition to go from certain parts of the house to the next. Every inch is covered. It’s like something out of a James Bond movie.”

The ‘Moneyball’ actor – who was married to former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer from 2000 to 2005 – thinks his life before his relationship with Angelina Jolie started to feel “pathetic” because he spent a lot of time smoking marijuana and “hiding”.

He said: “I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.

The Hollywood actor chartered the mode of transport belonging to supermarket chain Iceland – who use it to fly food around – because he was “sick” of the London rush hour traffic while travelling to various parts of the UK to shoot his latest movie ‘World War Z’.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Brad was sick of wasting time in the London rush hour traffic, so he chartered a helicopter to take him to Billericay for filming. It just so happens the one he’s using belongs to Iceland.

“It’s caused a lot of laughter on set – everyone assumed he’d fly in on Richard Branson’s.”

Brad and partner Angelina recently chartered one of the entrepreneur’s Virgin trains to take them and their children – Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – from London to Scottish city Glasgow, which is being transformed into a makeshift Philadelphia for the zombie apocalypse movie.

The couple are currently based in Richmond, south west London, where they took their children to see ‘The Smurfs 3D’ movie in the town’s Odeon cinema earlier this month, following on from recent trips to the venue to see ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′.

Brad Pitt saved a woman on the set of ‘World War Z’ from being trampled

The 47-year-old actor was shooting battle scenes for the horror apocalypse movie in Glasgow, Scotland, with 700 extras when the actress fell to the ground in the melee.

Quick-thinking Brad scooped her up in his arms and put her back on her feet before she faced the risk of getting badly injured.

A source told the Scottish Sun newspaper: “Lots of people hurt themselves and Brad came to the rescue of one woman who slipped. I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up.

“He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a grazed knee.”

Although the actress had her very own Hollywood hero to save her, many of the other extras weren’t so lucky and were left with injuries following the dangerous battle scene.

The source added: “Loads of extras suffered bumps and scrapes. One extra playing a soldier was even hit by a moving car and ended up on the vehicle’s bonnet, but fortunately he escaped unhurt.”

Brad has been in Scotland for the past few weeks filming scenes for the movie, and he and his family – partner Angelina Jolie and their six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – have been staying at a rented 16th century mansion in the Ayrshire hills.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are selling their Californian mansion for $13.75 million

The Hollywood couple – who have six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – have decided to put the sprawling property, which has views of the Pacific Ocean, up for sale after making huge renovations to it.

The home is split in two, and despite the huge asking price it only has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

It also features a swimming pool, a tennis court, expansive gardens and a walk in fridge and freezer.

The couple added an extra floor to the house designed by Christopher R. Sorenson and created a heated lap pool in recent years.

It is one of a number of homes owned by the pair – who are currently in Scotland while Brad shoots zombie movie ‘World War Z’ – with a town house in the French Quarter of New Orleans and an estate in the Valpolicella region of Northern Italy also in their portfolio.

Brad purchase the 1962-built property after his split from Jennifer Aniston in 2005, and briefly put it up for sale in 2009 for $18 million, but it failed to sell.

The film’s producer Arnon Milchan says in new book ‘Confidential: The Life Of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon Arnon Milchan’: “At first, Jen didn’t believe he was involved with Angelina. She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it.”

The pair went on a pre-planned holiday to the Caribbean with friends Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette to celebrate New Year 2005, but the strain proved too much and Brad confessed he was in love with Angelina, according to Arnon.

He added: “He eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out.”

According to Arnon, Brad only returned to his martial home to collect his belongings before moving into the producer’s house, where he would make a low-key entrance to the film set every day.

The book claims: “Brad drove each day to the set, and everywhere else, on a motorcycle and he wore a wraparound helmet with a tinted visor so no one would recognise him. He stayed with me for the duration of filming.”

The unnamed woman – who worked as a bilingual secretary at their Miraval chateau in the South of France – was dismissed by a manager at the estate while on sick leave on the grounds her absence impacted on the running of the property and is seeking 80,000 Euros in compensation for unfair dismissal.

Lawyer Emmanuel Ludot said: “It’s a drop in the ocean for these stars.

“She has nothing against them personally and says she was always treated well. But they did not step in to prevent her being dismissed.

“Mr. Brad Pitt, who is also famous for his charity work and adoption of children, should understand that my client needs compensation as soon as possible, and that she’s not asking for millions, just a fair amount for unfair dismissal.

“We hope they will both be faithful to their reputation for humanitarian causes.”

The woman has remained anonymous due to confidentiality clauses in the contract she signed before being employed.

The lawyer said he has deliberately announced the matter now because the couple – Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, and six-year-old Zahara, as well as biological kids Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – are currently in France for the annual Cannes film festival.

A labour tribunal in Draguignan will rule on the case next month.

Brad Pitt treated his children to some Easter treats at a film screening this weekend

On Sunday (03.04.11) the actor took Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, and four-year-old Shiloh to see animated movie ‘Hop’ at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, where they also indulged in some delicious treats and took part in an Easter egg hunt.

With their mother Angelina Jolie and two younger siblings Knox and Vivienne absent from the family occasion, the children made the most of their sweet tooths but also made sure to take home some treats for the two-year-old twins.

An eyewitness told E!: “Each child walked away with A.sweeT.Boutique’s chocolate-covered pretzel rods, gummy butterflies, gummy cherries and jelly beans.

“The kids were so cute, polite and shy. Brad had to help them do the ordering of what they wanted in their little goody bags. They also made sure to take home some candy sticks for their siblings who weren’t there.”

Another source told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: “The kids participated in the hunt and everyone looked like they were having a great time. They stayed for pretty much the whole event.”

The film’s stars James Marsden, Adam Sandler and Elizabeth Perkins were also at the event, which was put on to benefit EBMRF – an organization that Brad has supported for a long time and is dedicated to researching and curing skin diseases that affect children.

Angelina Jolie has commissioned a pendant engraved with a microscopic love message for Brad Pitt

The stunning actress has asked London-based jeweller Robert Procop to prepare the necklace, based on Ancient Egyptian amulets, but the company will not let on what the secret intimate message reads.

Robert told the Daily Mail newspaper: “I can’t tell you what it says, and you would need a microscope to read it. The technology is quite new. The hidden message is lasered on.”

Angelina, 35, has worked with Robert, a former chief executive of upmarket jeweller Aspreys, for 10 years and the pair are even planning to go into business, designing a range called ‘The Style Of Jolie’ together.

Speaking about how the line will look, Robert has said: “Angelina has very classic style. These are pieces she wears herself.”

Last year, Angelina teamed up with Brad to create a gold and silver collection for Asprey, with all profits donated to the same charity, which was co-founded by Angelina.

The ‘Tourist’ actress wants to open up her and partner Brad Pitt’s home to a four-year-old girl called Leah who lost her entire family in the earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010.

Angelina – who already has three adopted children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, and Zahara, six, and naturally conceived Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – first met the child in February 2010, a month after the natural disaster, and the child is expected to go visit her and Brad and their other children before the adoption is authorised in the latter stages of this year.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Angelina’s lawyers are in the process of getting an authorisation so Leah can spend some time with her in America. That’s standard procedure, basically they need to make sure Leah will adapt well.

Joining Amy on the list of bad wives were Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Lady Gaga, while Charlie Sheen – who entered rehab last week for drink and drug problems – was named least desirable celebrity husband., closely followed by Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise.

While Amy and Charlie weren’t popular marriage material with readers, Natalie Portman – who is expecting her first child with fiance Benjamin Millepied – was given the title of most desirable celebrity wife, with Britain’s Prince Harry being named as the ultimate husband.

Megan Fox, Katy Perry and Kate Moss all made the top ten for the perfect wife, while Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, David Beckham and Harry’s brother Prince William were in the running for ideal husband.

Paul Stacey, a spokesman for My OK! Wedding said: “We were stunned by the results. The least attractive celeb brides and grooms were the party monsters. And I was shocked that Madonna, Lady Gaga and Gwyneth Paltrow were in the least desirable top ten.

Johnny Depp had to be rescued from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s dog

The 47-year-old actor – who starred with the actress in ‘The Tourist‘ – is not a fan of canines, but agreed to watch the pooch so the couple could go on a romantic date, but soon regretted his kind gesture.

He recalled: “Foolishly I was persuaded to look after their dog Jacques for a night. He’s a huge bulldog. At first I had a terrible feeling, because Jacques smelt horrible.

“But then I told myself, ‘Come on, you will survive one night’. Everything was cool – until I sat down on the bed to take my shoes off. Jacques pounced on me from behind and kept jumping around on me.

“He’s not small. Around 175lbs of dog was hurled at me, which felt like about 300lbs. I shouted for help and luckily someone came to take that beast off me.”

Despite the incident, Johnny did not let it affect his relationship with the couple – who raise six children together – and he and long-term partner Vanessa Paradis, 38, enjoyed being able to socialise with them after filming ended for the day.

He told German magazine TV Movie: “We often went for dinner with them. It was great. I’ve known Brad since the end of the Eighties. It was great to see him as a man and amazing father.”

Gwyneth Paltrow got drunk “all the time” when filming ‘Country Strong’

The 38-year-old actress – who used to adhere to a strict macrobiotic diet – claims it was “awesome” getting into character to portray an alcoholic singer in the movie, though she admits her approach wasn’t very professional.

She quipped: “You just get really drunk all the time. Which is awesome! At least I did anyway, it’s not very professional. There’s a Bloody Mary at 10 am and keep it going all day!

“It was actually very liberating and amazing to play somebody who just didn’t think about consequences because I’m so responsible with my life, and too worried about everybody and my kids and where’s everybody going.”

Gwyneth – who has two children, Apple, six, and four-year-old Moses, with her 33-year-old husband Chris Martin – has starred opposite a string of hunky actors in her movies, including Jude Law and former fiance Brad Pitt, but says Tom Cruise was her favourite co-star.

She told TV talk show host Rachael Ray in an episode due to air tomorrow (07.01.11): “I did a little cameo at the beginning of ‘Austin Powers 3’, I think it was, and I got to make out with Tom Cruise. He was an amazing kisser!”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie visited a children’s cancer centre on Wednesday (29.12.10)

The showbiz couple – who raise six kids, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, five, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, together – were joined by Brad’s parents and brother Doug on their brief trip to the St. John’s Jane Pitt Paediatric Cancer Centre, which is in the actor’s hometown of Springfield, Missouri.

Hospital spokesperson Cora Scott revealed: “They stayed about 45 minutes. It was a very nice visit.”

Last year, Brad and Angelina, along with the actor’s brother, sister and their families, donated $1 million to St. John’s Foundation for Community Health and had the paediatric cancer unit dedicated to the ‘Burn After Reading’ star’s mother Jane.

Cora added to People magazine: “Jane Pitt is a gem in our community. She’s a very wonderful woman who cares so very much about the well being of children.”

The trip was the first appearance made by the couple since returning from Namibia, where they spent Christmas with their children.

The couple went to the African nation where Shiloh was born, staying for a week in a villa at the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary and Lodge in the village of Langstrand.

The family – arrived in the country on December 19, and reportedly spent their time on the beach as well as roaming in the nearby Nakuluft Mountains.

A source said: “They really enjoyed their trip.

“They were able to mingle with locals, visit Swakopmund and go to the beach there and also the beach in their neighbourhood.”

The family stayed with a host family, headed by Dr. Rudie van Vuuren, a famous physician, cricket player and conservationist and his wife Marlice.
