Beyonce Knowles is taking pregnancy advice from Gwyneth Paltrow

The 30-year-old singer is expecting her first baby with husband Jay-Z and Gwyneth – who has children Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses with husband Chris Martin – has been giving her suggestions on the right food supplements to take and products to use to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

A source told Closer magazine: “Gwyneth has known about this pregnancy for over a month and has been telling Beyonce to drink a shot of wheatgrass each morning and to rub her belly with coconut oil to prevent stretch marks.

“She’s also advised her to meditate for an hour every day and soak her feet in ice water to prevent swelling.”

However, while Beyonce was thrilled with the parcel of energy crystals Gwyneth sent her to promote peace, love, and good health, she is said to not be impressed by some of the other tips she has received from the actress.

The insider added: “Beyonce knows Gwyneth is just trying to show how much she cares, but her advice can be a little overwhelming.

“She’s sending packages of herbs and vitamins – but Beyonce wants to do things her own way, what suits her best and not be told what to eat.”

The reality TV star – who is famous for her own curvaceous figure and bountiful butt – thinks the ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ singer is absolutely gorgeous and admits Beyonce’s enviable body and booty inspired her to work out.

She said: “It’s no secret that I’m a huge admirer of Beyonce. She has one of the best bodies in showbiz and it motivated me to work out. And all of her albums are memorable, I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite.”

Beyonce Knowles is to perform at the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert – via satellite

The ‘Halo’ singer was a huge a fan of the ‘Thriller hitmaker’ – who passed away from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009, aged 50 – and it has now been confirmed she will take part in the ‘Michael Forever’ tribute concert, which is due to take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on October 8.

However, she won’t be able to make it in person because of “scheduling issues” but has found a way to be involved.

Writing on their Facebook page, promoters of the concert confirmed: “BEYONCE Beams Into Michael Forever Tribute!! A unique, never-before-seen performance by Beyonce of one of her favourite Jackson 5 songs will be shown at the concert on October 8th! A lifelong Michael fan, Beyonce really wanted to be involved in this tribute concert. Due to scheduling issues she can’t be there in person, but this performance is not to be missed! (sic)”

Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and Kanye West have also been asked to perform at the event, which will mark the life of the music legend as has Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z.

Beyonce Knowles “can’t wait” to start a family

The 29-year-old singer – who has previously hinted she would like to have children with husband Jay-Z in the near future – will be a “natural” mother, according to her sister Solange, who has six-year-old son Daniel.

Solange said: “She will be a great mother, a natural. She will love to start a family. I can’t wait, they will be beautiful.” However, while waiting to become a mother of her own, 25-year-old Solange admits Beyonce has a great time as an auntie to her child.

She added to the Daily Mirror: “Beyonce adores my little boy. She takes him everywhere. We were in Europe a couple of months ago and he loved being with his auntie.”Meanwhile the ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ hitmaker – who is currently in the UK on a promotional tour of her new album ‘4′ – is said to have become obsessed with British TV shows, in particular the BBC London-based soap ‘EastEnders’.

Beyonce Knowles wanted to have a baby when she was 30

The ‘Run the World (Girls)’ singer – who is married to rapper Jay-Z – initially wanted to retire from the spotlight and start a family when she hit her thirties, but now she is just months away she’s not so sure.

Speaking on TV show ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ she said: “I always said I’d have a baby at 30. I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I’m not retiring. Only God knows.”

The ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker – who’s birthday is on September 4 – added she feels like she’s outgrown her 20s and is looking forward to embracing a new decade in her life. She said: “Twenty nine is very strange. You’re still in your 20s, but you feel like you’re supposed to be 30, and I feel like a woman.

“I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it.”

In an interview on CNN show ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’, Beyonce said: “I remember when we first had our single on the radio, and I was starting to feel like I was hot. And I was in the record store and she was talking to me and I started singing, because I didn’t want to hear whatever she was saying. And I was about 15.

“And the song was playing on the radio and I am like, yes, and these guys were looking like, ‘Oh, that’s Beyonce.’ And I thought I was hot.

“And she smacked the crap out of me in that store. When I tell you whack, whack and sent me to the car. And was like, ‘I don’t care what song you have on the radio, you are my child. You do not disrespect me’, and I will never forget it. It was a great lesson.

“She is always correcting me and, you know, I feel like it doesn’t matter if you are the janitor or the president, everyone is the same, making sure that I keep my humility and my spirit. You know, she is always honest with me.”

Beyonce married rapper Jay-Z in 2008 after six years of dating and although they had an instant connection, she admits their relationship isn’t always perfect.

She said: “I definitely had a very natural friendship and connection with him. And I mean, we’ve been together for a very long time and are very happy.”

The superstar couple – who married on 4 April 2008 – recently had a romantic break in Paris, France, and while they are keen to start a family together in the future, they want to prove their love for each other first by renewing their vows on their fourth wedding anniversary.

A source told Now magazine: “In Paris, Beyonce told jay she wanted to have another wedding ceremony before seriously considering babies. Jay jumped at the chance to prove again he’s committed forever.

“Bey saw a couture wedding dress she wants while they were there, but the cute thing is they’re both superstitious about the number four – which is why they married on the fourth day of the fourth month. Beyonce Knowles is “working nights” on her new album while in Paris

The ‘Run The World (Girls)’ singer is visiting the French capital with husband Jay-Z, and while staying in a two story suite at the Hotel Le Meurice the pair have been working hard to get her forthcoming album complete.

A source told People.com: “They’ve set up a studio in another suite and have been working nights on her album.”

The couple arrived in Paris by private jet on Monday (18.04.11), and enjoyed a trip with her six-year-old nephew Daniel – son of her sister Solange Knowles – to Disneyland today (21.04.11), where she was seen having fun wearing a cap with the image of Disney character Goofy.

However, she has spent most of her time working, with a source joking she hadn’t even been seen shopping in the city’s expensive stores.

The insider said: “She hasn’t gone out on one of her customary kamikaze boutique runs.”

Beyonce is thought to be working with ‘S&M’ hitmaker Rihanna on her new album after meeting at this year’s Grammy Awards.

An insider said: “Rihanna has wanted to work with Beyonce for some time now and, after talking about a duet at this year’s Grammys, they have finally managed to set aside some time to record together.

The millionaire rapper delighted his wife of three years with the luxury break, ensuring their villa was filled with their favourite white flowers and champagne on ice, as well as laying on candle-lit seafood dinners on the beach.

Despite their romantic holiday, the couple were happy to spend time with other people and were particularly happy to find the 29-year-old singer’s ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ co-star Verne Troyer was staying nearby, so they invited him to join them for the evening.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “They bumped into Verne on a jaunt out one day. They were really surprised to see him.

The singer-and-actress – who is married to hip-hop superstar Jay-Z – says it’s much sexier if a man has a subtle scent rather than something that is overbearing.

She said: “A man should never be too overbearing with his scent. I’ve been in too many elevators next to too many men with strong aftershave and it’s a total turn-off. With men, a scent should be subtle, clean and fresh, and just make you want to lean in to smell more. That’s sexy.”

Beyonce has just launched her second fragrance, Heat Rush, and says Jay-Z was involved in the creative process because she will only wear perfumes he approves of.

She told Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “One of the most important aspects of my perfume is that they get his seal of approval. When you wear a perfume, you want your man to love it. The singer-and-actress gave a private performance for members of the dictator’s family on New Year’s Eve 2009, but instead of keeping the cash for herself she gave it all away to Haiti, following the devastating earthquake that ravaged the Caribbean nation in early 2010.

Her publicist said: “All monies paid to Beyonce for her performance at a private party at Nikki Beach St. Barts on New Year’s Eve 2009, including the commissions paid to her booking agency, were donated to the earthquake relief efforts for Haiti over a year ago.

“Once it became known that the third party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi family, the decision was made to put that payment to a good cause.”

Colonel Gaddafi – who has been linked to terrorist activity and accused of running a brutal regime over his people for 40 years – has been asked to step down by leaders of the western world following a violent revolt in the Middle Eastern country, but has refused, even denying there is unrest in the state.

Earlier this week, Nelly Furtado revealed she is to donate the $1 million she earned performing for Gaddafi’s family in 2007.

The ‘Powerless (Say What You Want)’ singer tweeted: “In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the $ (sic).”

While the controversial rapper admitted his behaviour – when he stormed on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards during Taylor’s Best Female Video acceptance speech and ranted that Beyonce Knowles should have won – was unacceptable, he claimed it helped make the country singer even more popular.

He said: “I feel like when Taylor was getting all those magazine covers, she was all good then.

“I feel completely empathetic and sympathise with that moment of her feeling bad, that spawned her to have one million magazine covers and be the most popular artist in the world, but in that moment of her feeling bad, I do feel bad about being the cause of that.”

Although the ‘Stronger’ hitmaker apologised to the 20-year-old songstress, he claimed interruptions at awards shows happen all the time.

Speaking on US radio show ‘Mojo in the Morning’ he said: “When I talked to Taylor I asked her, ‘What do you feel?’…and I said we know I was rude, I’m sorry, I cut you off. Awards shows play music…they cut people off all the time.’”

The 33-year-old star – who took an extended break from music after the incident – revealed he now hopes to move on.

He explained: “Personally, I’m better than I’ve ever been. I’m patching up my public image and where I am as an artist and where people perceive me.”

Beyonce Knowles’ mother has denied her daughter is pregnant

The ‘Halo’ hitmaker was reported to be expecting her first child with her hip-hop superstar husband Jay-Z, but her mother Tina Knowles has rubbished the rumours and joked she is having a baby at the age of 56.

Tina said: “The truth is that’s it’s not Beyonce that’s pregnant. It’s me.

“I’m kidding y’all. I’m 56. No, no the reports are not true. Not right now … With all the rumours, by now I should have 5 or 6 grandchildren.”

However, Tina’s claims do not appear to have reached friends of the couple – who married in 2008 – and they have been rushing to express their delight saying they will make wonderful parents.

The pop stars – who collaborated on the single ‘Telephone’ – came seventh and ninth respectively joining a host of political leaders including US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the poll.

American First Lady Michelle Obama – the wife of US President Bracak Obama – took the number one spot.

According to Forbes, this year’s index was based more on creative influence and entrepreneurship leading to the inclusion of Beyonce and Gaga.

Moira Forbes, vice-president and publisher of ForbesWoman, insists the people featured in the top 100 had affected billions of people.

She said: “The women on our list, through their respective realms of power and influence, are shaping many of the agenda setting conversations of our day. They have built companies and brands, sometimes by non-traditional means, and they have broken through gender barriers in areas of commerce, politics, sports and media and cultural zeitgeist, and thereby affecting the lives of millions, sometimes billions of people.”

A source said: “She is convinced he is controlling her from beyond the grave, guiding her life and career. Her entire life has become dictated by these conversations.”

Another insider claimed: “She says she is in touch with his spirit. She sits and talks to him for hours, as if he’s in the room with her. She says he tells her what to wear.”

Lady Gaga was the big winner at last night’s (12.09.10) MTV Video Music Awards

The eccentric singer – who was nominated for a record 13 awards – took home an impressive eight trophies at the prestigious ceremony, including Video of the Year for ‘Bad Romance’.

When accepting the main award – which was presented to her by Cher – an emotional Gaga said: “I was so nervous tonight that I’d let my fans down.

“I promised that if I won this tonight, I’d announce the name of my new record.”

She then went on to tell the thrilled crowd her new album would be called ‘Born This Way’, before singing part of the title song.

The 24-year-old star also won prizes for Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Best Collaboration – for her ‘Telephone’ duet with Beyonce Knowles – and she thanked her fans for their support.

She said: “Tonight, little monsters, we’re the cool kids at the party.”

Other winners at the show – which was held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater and was hosted by Chelsea Handler – included Eminem, Justin Bieber and Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

Eminem – who won Best Male Video and Best Hip-hop Video – opened the show with ‘Not Afraid’, before teaming up with Rihanna for ‘Love the Way You Lie’, while Best New Artist winner Justin thrilled his fans with a performance of ‘Baby’ outside the Nokia Theater.

Taylor Swift and Kanye West – who caused controversy last year after Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech, saying Beyonce should have won – also performed separate songs.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan – who has just completed court-ordered rehab treatment – appeared at the start of the show in a pre-recorded sketch, which poked fun at her lifestyle.

Talking about host Chelsea’s self-confessed love of vodka, Lindsay quipped: “Pull it together! Do you think anyone wants to work with a drunk? Take it from me!”

Beyonce Pays the Price for Bothering Neighbor

Beyonce Knowles just ended a legal war with a guy who claimed the singer “invaded his neighborhood” for a video shoot — but it took a whole lotta cash to end the grudge match.

We just spoke with Philip Markowitz — the guy who sued Beyonce and her production crew back in May for allegedly wreaking havoc in his neighborhood — and dude told us he just scored a 5-figure settlement to drop the case.

As we previously reported, the trouble began when Beyonce used a home in the Hollywood Hills to shoot a music video for the song “Why Don’t You Love Me” … and the crew allegedly trespassed onto Markowitz’s driveway.

Markowitz tells us, “I’m happy with the settlement, but this lawsuit shouldn’t have happened in the first place.”

He adds, “They set up on my property without asking and [the settlement] should send a notice to other production companies that they need to respect the rights of property owners.”

Lady Gaga gave Beyonce Knowles a custom-made diamond whip for her birthday

The eccentric singer reportedly splashed out thousands of dollars on the raunchy gift and a matching underwear set, which she presented to her while singing ‘Happy Birthday’.

A source said: “Gaga wanted to give her something special. The whip was made out of hundreds of diamonds and leather.

“When Beyonce received it she squealed with excitement.”

The ‘Poker Face’ star handed over the saucy gifts backstage at Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z’s concert in Detroit last week, with the ’99 Problems’ hitmaker also making an effort to mark his spouse’s birthday.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “The dressing room was decorated with balloons and banners and a lot of champagne had been put on too.”

Lady Gaga’s eccentric present was likely to be inspired from her prison-themed music video for single ’Telephone’ – which starred Beyonce.

The duo dressed in sexy leather and studded outfits for the shoot, with Gaga wearing metal chains and Beyonce sporting a tight black jumpsuit and chauffeur’s hat.

The Hollywood stars were voted into the top spot after UK couples were asked which celebrities their partners would let them sleep with without classing it as cheating, known as a ‘list’.

Joining Brad on the ‘allowed’ list for women were ‘Alice in Wonderland’ actor Johnny Depp, ‘300’ star Gerard Butler, soccer ace David Beckham and ‘Twilight Saga’ hunk Robert Pattinson.

Male respondents opted for Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his current partner Angelina Jolie, who were named second and fifth respectively, with Beyonce Knowles and Jessica Alba taking third and fourth place respectively.

Mark Pearson, Managing Director of Groupola.com, which conducted the survey of 1,198 couples, said: “I think that having a ‘list’ in a relationship is fine, as long as they are taken in jest and feelings aren’t hurt.

“Although, I do wonder if any of the respondents would ever actually follow through with their ‘list’. I can’t help but think that even if people were confronted with the situation whilst in a serious relationship, they would probably shy away from it!”

Beyonce Knowles believes being a feminist has helped her have successful relationships with men

The ‘Halo’ singer – who is married to hip-hop superstar Jay-Z – says she’s always had good friendships with females and thinks that has played a big part in her never falling for the wrong type of man.

She said: “I think I am a feminist in a way. It’s not something I consciously decided I was going to be; perhaps it’s because I grew up in a singing group with other women, and that was so helpful to me. It kept me out of so much trouble and out of bad relationships. My friendships with my girls are just so much a part of me that there are things I am never going to do that would upset that bond. I never want to betray that friendship because I love being a woman and I love being a friend to other women. “I think we learn a lot from our female friends – female friendship is very, very important.”

While her personal relationships are very important to her, Beyonce admits she sometimes finds it hard to balance everything in her life.

She told You magazine: “For me, balance is always really hard to find. I love so many different things, and to have the discipline to turn certain things away and focus on one thing at a time so that I can give it 100 per cent is really hard. “Probably the biggest challenge in my life is time – making sure I have time to be a wife, to be a singer, to be a songwriter, to be an actor and still have time for my clothing line and now for my perfume. I am like any other woman who has a child, who has a husband, who has a job. I think it’s the hardest thing about being a woman because we have so many responsibilities.”

The ‘Twilight Saga’ dominated the Teen Choice Awards last night (08.08.10) picking up an incredible haul of 11 prizes.

The vampire romance franchise won a total of 11 prizes at the ceremony, which was held at Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheater, including Choice Movie: Liplock for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s kiss in ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ and Choice Movie: Chemistry.

Taylor Lautner – who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the films – picked up the Choice Fantasy: Movie Actor and Choice Male: Hottie gongs, while co-stars Robert and Kristen won the Choice Summer Movie Star: Male and Choice Summer Movie Star: Female accolades respectively.

‘Twilight’ was not the only vampire drama to dominate the event, which was hosted by ‘California Gurls’ singer Katy Perry – who underwent several costume changes throughout the night appearing at one point as a prom queen.

Hit series ‘The Vampire Diaries’ scooped seven awards in the television category, including Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, while the show’s leading couple Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev won the Choice Actor and Choice Actress statuettes in the TV Fantasy/Sci-Fi category.

Sandra Bullock won the Choice Movie Actress: Drama award for her performance in ‘The Blind Side’, the role which also won her the Best Actress Oscar.

Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian were also on hand to accept the Choice TV: Reality Show accolade for their series ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’.

Kim tweeted after the event: “So much fun at the Teen Choice Awards tonight! I told Megan Fox she is the most gorgeous woman alive. (sic)”
