Justin Bieber is a “very independent person”

The ‘Baby’ singer is surrounded by a team of advisers and managers throughout most of his average day, and looks forward to having a little time to reflect.

He told BANG Showbiz: “I guess I’m fine with being by myself. I’m a very independent person, so I don’t really get lonely. I don’t get much time to myself.

“I work a lot, but at night time, that’s basically my down time when I get to just lay in bed, play on my computer, check twitter and all that. I never get to feel anonymous anymore, not really.”

The 16-year-old teen sensation relies on his mother, Pattie Mallette, and music mentor Usher to keep him “grounded” while travelling across the world on tour, and being surrounded by teenage fans almost everywhere he goes.

He added to BANG Showbiz: “I have some great people on my team that keep me grounded, my mum is always with me and they keep me sane, and Usher has been there, so he knows, he helps keep me sane.”

Justin Bieber is excited people get to meet his grandparents in his new movie

The 16-year-old singer says his favourite thing about his biographical documentary ‘Never Say Never 3-D’ is the fact his fans get to see some of his family life.

Speaking at the European premiere of the film at London’s The O2 arena on Wednesday night (16.02.11), Justin told BANG Showbiz: “In the film, you get to see just me in my regular life and I take you back to my hometown. You get to meet my grandparents so it’s really cool.”

Justin admits the first time he saw himself on the big screen he freaked out because his head was “sooo big”.

He said: “It was kind of weird seeing myself so big, and it made me feel a little self conscious, because it’s, like, you’re face is sooo big (sic) when you see it on the cinema screen.”

The premiere was attended by hundreds of screaming fans and the pop star needed a police escort to get to the venue.

Among the guests on the purple carpet were British musician Craig David, and Justin claims he could collaborate with the singer in the future.

Asked about the possibility of them recording a song together, he said: “Hopefully. I’m a big fan of his work and I hope we get to do something soon.”

Following his premiere in the UK, Justin has another exciting date coming up in his diary – he turns 17 on March 1.

However, the constantly busy ‘Baby’ singer has only one wish – to sleep.

Justin – who won the International Breakthrough Act prize at this week’s BRIT Awards - said: “What do I most want for my birthday? I want to sleep!”

Other stars at the premiere included ‘Do It Like A Dude’ hitmaker Jessie J and singer-and-TV star Alesha Dixon.

Justin Bieber says Will Smith has become a father figure to him

The teen singing sensation, whose debut movie ‘Never Say Never’ premiered in Los Angeles last night (08.02.11), has revealed he looks up to the Hollywood superstar and his family – wife Jada Pinkett Smith and children Trey, Jaden and Willow - as they have all given him lots of useful advice.

He said: “The Smith family has been really amazing to me and really supportive in everything I’m doing. The family are just really nice and they are really good people.”

“Will’s definitely looking at different scripts for me and trying to develop stuff.”

However, he admitted the pair are yet to commit to an official project together, saying: “No, not at the moment. We’re just kind of looking at stuff.”

While Justin is an admirer of Will, the ‘Baby’ hitmaker has a lots of fans of his own and they came out in their thousands to see their idol at the premiere last night.

Speaking about the hysterical scenes, dubbed ‘Bieber Fever’, Justin said: “‘Bieber Fever’ is everything. It’s everything.

“I think it’s my fans being really supportive. They made it up. At the end of the day, my fans are my everything, and they got me to this position.”

Bieber in the Middle of Dream/Milian Divorce Battle

The Dream and Christina Milian are battling each other over their divorce settlement — and the wrench in the works is apparently none other than Justin Bieber … TMZ has learned.

According to docs filed in Georgia, The Dream previously agreed to pay Milian a hefty settlement — including 10% of his publishing interest in Bieber’s mega hit, “Baby,” which The Dream co-wrote.

The Dream is pissed because Milian is trying to re-negotiate the settlement by demanding more support, including a greater percentage of the Bieber gold mine.

Since Christina tried to renegotiate … The Dream is trying to pull the plug on any payments to her. Obviously, Christina is fighting that.

Justin Bieber’s voice is “definitely” changing

The 16-year-old singing sensation is relying on the assistance of his vocal coach to adapt his music to suit the way puberty has impacted on his speaking and singing, but says he is handling it well.

He told ‘Today’ show host Matt Lauer: “My voice is definitely changing, gradually. It’s definitely lower than last time I was here. I think that everybody’s voice changes. It’s just how you go through it. I have a great vocal coach that’s helping me.”

Though the ‘Baby’ hitmaker’s schedule is always packed, he is given one day off a week to live a normal life and while he sometimes struggles to cope with the demands of being an international pop icon, he hopes he can make his younger stepsiblings, Jaxon and Jazmyn, proud.

He said: “I make sure I have at least one day off a week. I need one day of downtime. The rest of the week is all jam-packed. I have to have at least one day. It’s hard because I’m away from my family, like, my brother and sister. You only live once, but at the same time, my brother and sister are going to grow up and they’re going to be proud of me.”

Justin Bieber thinks he is “nuts”

The 16-year-old pop star suffers from insomnia and can’t stop himself from thinking about his loved ones, career and “God” when his head hits the pillow at night, but believes his problems are a sign of his talent.

He said: “I’m crazy, I’m nuts. Just the way my brain works. I’m not normal. I think differently – my mind is always racing. I’m just … nuts. But I think the best musicians probably are.

“I just turn over all night and think. My mind races. I think about all the things I didn’t have time to think about during the day – like family and God and things that should be more important but you don’t have time to think about, because you just get caught up in everything else during the day.”

Justin is enjoying his worldwide success but he accepts his fame comes at a price and he knows he can’t just to whatever he wants and has a responsibility to his fans.

He explained to the February edition of Vanity Fair magazine: “It’s hard to really balance myself. A regular kid, if he catches the flu, he just gets to go home. But I can’t do that … Everything is important. But, you know, my sanity is important, too. Even if I’m angry, I’ll just put a smile on my face and fake it. I don’t often fake it – what’s me is me. I know I have to give up a lot of myself, or a lot of a private life.”

Despite the problems his singing career cause him, the ‘Baby’ singer won’t ever give up on his career and plans to push himself as far as he can.

He said: “I see myself just growing. I didn’t know that any of this was really possible. I grew up in a really small town with not a lot of money, and I liked singing, but it was just something that was a hobby. As I get into it more, I want to grow as an artist, as an entertainer, and basically perfect my craft. I want to be the best that I can be.”

Justin Bieber is hoping for a motorbike for Christmas

The ‘Baby’ singer – who was given a car by his mentor Usher for his 16th birthday in March – would love to unwrap another vehicle from either the ‘OMG’ hitmaker or his mother.

He said: “I got a car for my birthday, Usher helped buy it. Maybe he will get me another car for Christmas.

“My mom is trying to figure out something to get me. I want a motorcycle. Not a big one, a little pocket one, a small miniature one which is really cool. I do like fast cars.”

When asked what he was planning on buying his family, Justin said he wasn’t sure what he’d get them, but insisted they won’t be disappointed.

He said: “I spoil my family, really.”

Fans of Justin may not be able to spend Christmas with him in person, but will be able to console themselves with a range of Justin Bieber dolls which are being released.

The toy line includes the ‘Justin Bieber Music Video Collection Singing Figures’ which play 30-second clips from his hits, ‘Baby’ and ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ and are styled in the same way he is in the music videos for those songs.

There is also ‘The JB Style Collection’, which features Justin dolls in either his ‘Street Style, ‘Awards Style’ and ‘Red Carpet Style’. The dolls will be available in US stores priced between $17 and $30.

Justin Bieber is looking forward to spending the festive season with his family

The 16-year-old ‘Baby‘ hitmaker has spent much of 2010 on the road and can’t wait to get home to Canada to see his loved ones.

He said: “What’s at the top of my Christmas list? To celebrate the holidays with my family.”

The teenage singing sensation is hopeful his good conduct throughout the year will lead to him getting lots of Christmas gifts.

He joked: “Have I been naughty or nice? I like to think of myself as being nice.”

Justin was able to look back on his successes of the last year while penning his autobiography ‘First Step 2 Forever: My Story‘ and loved writing the book as it made him feel closer to his fans.

He explained: “The book was really cool for me, because I was able to take people into my world and really close into what I’m thinking.

“I like scaring the girls. In the book, I was talking about how I made out with a girl for a week profusely. Then I’d be like, ha, ha, just kidding.”

‘Twilight’ leads nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Awards.

The vampire movie franchise’s third instalment ‘Eclipse‘ dominated the award’s movie categories when they were announced yesterday (09.12.20) with eight nods including Favourite Movie, Favourite Movie Actor for stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and Favourite Movie Actress for Kristen Stewart, among others.

The awards also honour Music and Television stars, and the nominations saw Eminem and Usher included in the Favourite Male Artist category, while Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are all in the running for Favourite Female Artist.

Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber are both nominated for Favourite Breakout Artist, alongside B.o.B.,

Kesha and Selena Gomez and the Scene.

Upon hearing of her nomination, Selena tweeted: “Oh my gosh!!!! I am so excited you guys nominated me and The Scene for this year’s People’s Choice Award! (sic)”

TV show ‘Glee’ picks up a nomination in the Favourite TV Comedy category alongside ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Modern Family’ and ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Winners of the People’s Choice Awards 2011 will be revealed during a live broadcast from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on January 5 next year.

Justin Bieber posted a teenager’s telephone number on twitter in a bid for revenge

The 16-year-old singer – who has over 4.5 million followers on the social networking site – posted Detroit teenager Kevin Kristopik’s number on twitter last Saturday (14.08.10) and added “Everyone call me  or text (sic)”

The message was quickly re-tweeted amongst Justin’s followers before being taken down.

It is believed the ‘Baby’ hitmaker posted the controversial message in revenge after Kevin hacked the twitter page of the singer’s friend Ryan Butler and obtained the star’s telephone number.

On July 27, Kevin tweeted “im the one who hacked ryan and got justins # (sic).”

When asked on twitter, “You hacked ryan, and now jb wants payback so he tweeted your number?” Kevin replied, “Kinda (sic).”

Kevin – who has now deleted his twitter account – sent out a series of furious tweets after his number was posted online.

One read: I never asked for it, @justinbieber is a d**k. (sic)”

However, the incident hasn’t stopped the teenager being a fan of the star.

He added: “i still like him, but this was so low. (sic)”

A video thought to have been posted on YouTube by Kevin shows his iPhone being inundated with calls.

Justin Bieber has not commented on the incident.

Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend has sparked speculation they have reunited.

Caitlin Beadles – who split from the ‘Baby’ hitmaker shortly before he found fame early last year – spent time with the 16-year-old star in the Bahamas last month when he was doing a photoshoot with Kim Kardashian.

On June 6 she tweeted: “Bahamas here I come! Gonna be an awesome week!”

She followed up the message on her return a week later, posting: “What happens in the Bahamas stays in the Bahamas!”

A few days afterwards, when Justin tweeted that he was “back in Canada”, Caitlin again took to her page on the social networking website to apparently express her feelings.

According to Life and Style magazine, she posted: “I hate when you have to leave. It’s like half of me is gone. I miss you already!”

Despite their split, Justin and Caitlin have remained close, with the ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ singer flying to see his former love last August after she was involved in a serious boating accident.

In December, he serenaded her onstage during a concert in Georgia.

However, despite the speculation, Justin insists he is not romantically involved with anyone.

He tweeted: “IM SINGLE and READY TO MINGLE!! Haha. (Sic)”

Justin Bieber was once brought home by the police.

The 16-year-old singer got in trouble with the authorities when he was younger after he and his friend snuck outside in the middle of the night, not realising there was a curfew in the area.

He said: “I snuck out once. My friend slept over and we were like, ‘Let’s go out.’ We just went biking and were being stupid but we weren’t doing anything bad.

“But the police saw us and brought me back home, because there was a curfew on the area! It was two in the morning and I got grounded for a month! That’s the worse trouble I’ve ever been in.”

Now he’s famous, the ‘Baby’ hitmaker always tries to be on his best behaviour but admits it’s not always easy.

He told Top of the Pops magazine: “Well, I try not to be rude, but people push and push you. I was at this photo shoot and these guys were like, ‘Put this on, it looks really cool,’ and I was like, ‘I don’t really like that, I don’t wanna wear that.’ This is me, I wear a hoodie, I’m just easy.”

Justin Bieber thinks he is a “great” kisser.

The 16-year-old singer insists that despite his young age, he has already grown romantically close to more than one person, and believes his smooching technique is better than average.

He said: “I’m a good – I’m a great kisser. I’ve made out with a couple of chicks.”

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker – who was given a Range Rover car by his mentor Usher as a 16th birthday gift – also revealed he loves to take his dates out in the vehicle so they can find a secluded place to stop.

He added on the Johnjay and Rich radio show: “I mean, if you’re driving you make a little stop at, you know, the Wal-Mart rest stop… you’re good.”

Usher recently revealed that as well as taking control of Justin’s music career, he has also taught him how to handle himself with women.

He said: “Justin is 16 so he can’t really hang out yet. But as a youth, I was running the streets with Puffy and that’s basically how I made my start so I keep promising I’ll get him in a club one time, maybe it’ll be a party or something.

“But he knows exactly what to do with the screaming girls. I taught him well.”

Justin Bieber has got a tattoo.

The 16-year-old singer reportedly had a small bird inked onto his hip shortly after his 16th birthday in March, at the Son of a Gun tattoo parlour in Toronto, Canada.

According to gossip website bestweekever.tv, having the design marked a family tradition, and Justin was accompanied to the tattoo parlour by his father Jeremy, who “showed his approval by giving a thumbs-up when they posed for a photo with staff.”

The site also published pictures of the ‘Baby’ hitmaker on the tattoist’s table, though a clear image of the completed design could not be seen. However, photographs of him topless on a beach in Sydney, Australia, show the artwork visible on his pelvis.

Fans have already taken to twitter to express their views on the teenager’s inking.

StopJBFanWar wrote: “Justin Bieber has a tattoo? That’s hot.”

glass_passenger tweeted: “Whenever my dad tells me I’m a disappointment for having a tattoo, I will remind him that Justin Bieber, 16, has one.”

The 41-year-old singer and her husband Rene Angelil, 67, were told by doctors in August she was pregnant after undergoing a course of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment, but days later were told it hadn’t worked.

Despite more subsequent attempts at the treatment, Celine and Rene are refusing to give up hope of having a sibling for eight-year-old son Rene-Charles.

Rene said: “Dr. Zev Rosenwaks believed that the procedure/pregnancy took, but that wasn’t the case. We found out some days later. We were shocked.

”We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use IVF. The process can be long and arduous.

“But today, we are full of confidence. Celine is more determined than ever. She doesn’t let go.”

The couple – who conceived Rene-Charles after fertility treatment – are now preparing for another course of treatment in New York this weekend.

Rene added to Canada’s Journal de Montreal newspaper: “I admire all the women who go through such a tough process. Since April, she has undergone numerous examinations, multiple hormone injections and blood tests.

“Celine and I didn’t get discouraged … we put our faith in life and in the stars.”
