Zsa Zsa’s Hubby — Our House Was Broken Into!

The Bel Air home of Zsa Zsa Gabor and Prince Frederic von Anhalt was allegedly broken into this morning — and the Prince chased off intruders with a bat … this according to the Prince himself.

According to the Prince, it happened around 3:00 AM this morning. He claims two men broke in through the back of the house, waking him up. The Prince says they got as far as the living room, but he chased them away with a baseball bat.

The Prince says the guys didn’t put up a fight when he came at them, but that he fell while chasing them and hurt his hip.

The Prince thinks the guys must have been there for a while before he discovered them because he believes some paintings, a laptop, a camera and some of their statues are missing.

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have purchased a £4 million home in the UK

The couple – who are currently expecting their first child – have reportedly purchased a property in North London after the 31-year-old actress decided the UK would be a “great place” to raise a family.

An insider explained: “Kate is ready to put down roots in the UK. She is in the process of filling out visa forms that will enable her to live in England with Matt for at least six months of the year.

“Kate looks at the UK as a great place to raise a family. She sees herself living and working from London for the long haul.”

The pair are hoping to move into the property, which comes complete with a nursery, games room and guest rooms, as soon as renovations are complete, and are also looking at holiday homes in Cornwall near the 32-year-old rocker’s parents’ house in Devon, South West England.

Matt and Kate – who also has a seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson – are said to be so ecstatic about their new home that they have already taken Kate’s Hollywood legend mother Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell to look around the area.

The source added to Britain’s Mail on Sunday newspaper: “Matt and Kate have shown Goldie and Kurt around the area and Matt took them all to Devon to meet his parents. They also looked around Cornwall for a holiday home.”

However, Kate recently admitted she was “unsure” about moving to the UK on a permanent basis.

She said: “I’ll obviously be spending a lot more time in London bit I’m not sure about moving – not yet! We’ll probably split it 50/50 – I do love it here and surprisingly I do love the weather. It’s so nice to have seasons.”

‘The Last Airbender’ swept the board at last night’s (26.02.11) Golden Raspberry Awards

After picking up the main unwanted accolade – dubbed the Razzie – of Worst Picture, the 3D movie was also awarded Worst Screenplay, Worst Supporting Actor for Jackson Rathbone’s appearance and Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3D, while director M.Night Shyamalan took home Worst Director.

However, the fantasy film wasn’t the only movie to pick up multiple awards at the 31st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which were held at Los Angeles’ Barnsdal Gallery Theatre.

‘Sex and the City 2′ – which was critically panned when it hit cinemas last summer – took home the Razzie for Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, while its leading ladies Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davies were given the collective nod for Worst Actress and Worst Screen Ensemble.

John Wilson, founder of the awards, said: “It was released in the middle of a period of American history when everyone’s scrounging not to lose their homes.

“And these women are riding around in Rolls-Royces, buying expensive shoes and just throwing money around like they’re drunk.”

Elsewhere, Ashton Kutcher picked up the award for Worst Actor in recognition of his roles in ‘Killers’ and romantic comedy ‘Valentine’s Day’, while Jessica Alba took home Worst Supporting Actress for quadruple blunders in ‘Little Fockers’, ‘Machete’, ‘Valentine’s Day’ and ‘The Killer Inside Me‘.

Paris Hilton and Cy Waits went shopping for an engagement ring in New York City on Friday (18.02.11)

The loved-up couple were spotted in jewellers Jacob & Co. looking at several different sparklers, including a rare 30-carat blue diamond.

Despite inspecting the betrothal bands, the pair don’t have any happy news to announce just yet, but Paris did leave the store with a $25,000 black diamond-encrusted ring for her 30th birthday – which was on Thursday (17.02.11).

However, the hotel heiress insists it won’t be long until she and Las Vegas club owner Cy do commit to one another.

She told the New York Post newspaper: “We’ve talked about it (getting engaged). This is once in a lifetime. I want to be with him forever. And Cy has great taste. He just bought me a beautiful sports car.”

Paris was referring to the white Lexus LFA convertible supercar her boyfriend bought her for her birthday.

The blonde beauty topped off a week of partying by meeting her friend Denise Richards at Asellina restaurant on Thursday, before joining her family for a celebratory meal at top eatery Lavo.

Paris had one of her birthday cakes stolen by a musician known as ‘Paz’ from her Hollywood party on Tuesday (15.02.11).

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are engaged

Scott is believed to have got down on one knee in the final episode of Kourtney and her sister Kim Kardashian’s reality show ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York‘ – and now the pair are in talks for their own spin-off show, which will revolve around their wedding plans.

The plans come after the 31-year-old socialite’s other sister Khloe Kardashian signed up to star in her own show revolving around her life with her husband, Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom.

An insider told PopEater.com: “The last episode of ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ is Scott proposing. Then just like sister Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Scott will not only get their own show but also a wedding. It’s going to be TV gold.”

Kourtney’s mother Kris Jenner will assist on the show for E! which will see her daughter and future son-in-law – who have a 14-month-old son Mason together – plan their big day.

The source added: “What is going to make this new show a monster hit is that Scott and Kourtney are actually happier than ever. Heading toward the alter is the next step for them with or without the cameras.”

Tinie Tempah and Arcade Fire both scooped two trophies at tonight’s (15.02.11) BRIT Awards

Rapper Tinie took home British Breakthrough Act and British Single for his debut track ‘Pass Out’ – both of which were voted for by the public – while the Canadian indie group won International Album for their record ‘The Suburbs’, as well as International Group. Accepting his first award, Tinie gave a tight hug to presenter Fearne Cotton, before saying: “I got a BRIT Award guys! I want to big up my mum, my family and God – and I want to big up all the fans. Thank you. Biggest Breakthrough baby!”

The 22-year-old later took to the stage to perform a medley of his tracks ‘Written In The Stars’, ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and ‘Pass Out’, which saw him joined by producer Labrinth, whom he paid tribute to when picking up his BRIT for ‘Pass Out’, He said: “A second BRIT! I just want to thank Labrinth for being the genius the created the instrumental, Labrinth this one’s for you and me brother, and for UK music, peace and love.”

Arcade fire also performed their track ‘Ready To Start’ at the event, and as they accepted their International Album award, paid tribute to all the UK bands who had influenced them, saying: “We’d like to thank all the British band which changed our lives: New Order, [David] Bowie, Culture Club, Depeche [Mode], The Smiths – Thank you Britain, it’s an honour.”

The biggest single prize of the night, British Album Of The Year, went to folk act Mumford and Sons for their debut album ‘Sigh No More’. Accepting the trophy, they said: “Thank you very much indeed, we’re very humbled, tanks to our families and friends, thank you very much!”

Other winners on the night included Cee Lo Green, who picked up International Male Solo Artist and Plan B, who was named British Male Solo artist. Elsewhere teen sensation Justin Bieber picked up the International Breakthrough trophy, while folk singer Laura Marling was named British Female solo Artist. The awards closed with a special duet between Cee Lo Green and ‘Stone Cold Sober’ singer Paloma Faith, who gave an edited, radio friendly rendition of his track ‘F**k You’.

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly expecting a baby girl

The couple – who have three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz – are believed to have found out after a 16-week scan the private Rivers Hospital in Hertfordshire, southern England, that they will be adding a healthy baby girl to their brood this summer.

A friend of the pair told The Sun newspaper: “David and Victoria are over the moon. This will be their last child and to be told they are having a girl is the icing on the cake for the Beckham clan.

“Victoria is 36 and David is thinking about life after retirement. For them, with a sister for their boys – who are growing up fast – this is the perfect family. All their dreams have come true. They couldn’t have wished for more.”

Victoria has made no secret of her desire to have a little girl in the past, saying she would love someone to do girly activities with.

She explained: “I can imagine painting her nails, putting on make-up and choosing clothes with her.

“Everyone keeps asking if I’d like a little girl and I think, if I’m lucky enough to have another baby, that would be great.”

Taylor Lautner has beaten his ‘Twilight’ co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in 2010’s Hollywood Top 40 Earners List

Compiled by Vanity Fair magazine, the rankings revealed the 18-year-old actor raked in an estimated $33.5 million for his various movie appearances throughout 2010, making him the ninth-highest earner in Hollywood.

As well as pushing last year’s number nine Robert Downey Jr. into tenth place, Taylor beat both Kristen and Robert – who received $28.5 million and $27.5 million for their respective film roles over the past 12 months – who landed in 13th and 14th places.

Vanity Fair’s contributing editor Peter Newcomb explained: “He’s perhaps the highest-paid teenage star right now. When they first negotiated their contracts, they were getting paid a lot less.

“Then, with the immense success of the film, the agents went back and renegotiated the deal – Lautner’s deal in particular was really bumped up.”

With ‘Avatar‘ director and producer James Cameron securing the top spot in the rankings with an estimated yearly earning of $257 million, Johnny Depp – who raked in $100 million in 2010 – was listed as the highest-earning actor, taking home $40 million for his role as the Mad Hatter in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ alone.

However, despite being pipped to the post by her ‘Twilight’ co-star, Kristen Stewart’s estimated $28.5 million earnings made her the highest-ranking female star in 2010.

Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene surprised diners with their down-to-earth behaviour at a Louisiana eatery on Saturday (29.01.11)

The 21-year-old singer and the ‘Twilight Saga‘ actress – who have been dating Joe since last summer – took time out from their late night meal at the Ichiban Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar in Baton Rouge to chat to and pose for pictures with fellow diners and staff.

One of the managers told People magazine: “They were really friendly. They just walked in, sat down, and the word started going around that they were here.

“They each had a Hibachi meal and some sushi. The kitchen crew and wait staff were excited to see them. Some of them stayed late because they were hoping to get their picture.

“I don’t watch the ‘Twilight’ movies, so I wasn’t so familiar with them. But everyone else in the restaurant knew who they were. They were definitely there together, as a couple. I have to say, they were very nice. I think they’ll come back.”

Ashley, 23, is currently filming ‘Breaking Dawn’ the two-part finale to the ‘Twilight: Saga’ series in Baton Rouge and is expected to remain in the city for two more weeks.

The singer-turned-fashion designer – who is pregnant with her fourth child with husband David Beckham – has developed a hunger for the sweet orange preserve, accompanied by cups of English breakfast tea.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Victoria is having a lot of tea and toast with lashings of marmalade. She can’t get enough of the stuff.

“Mostly she’s been having it on toast, accompanied by lots of cups of tea.”

The 36-year-old star suffered from bad morning sickness whilst pregnant with her first three children, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five, but this time round she is not feeling so ill.

The source added: “She’s not having morning sickness like she has done before.”

However, the couple – who have been dating for around nine months – could be set to move back to the UK on a permanent basis after Matt, 32, revealed plans for all of Muse to move to London to make writing and rehearsing for the band’s next album easier.

The ‘West Coast Choppers’ host – whose divorce from actress Sandra Bullock was finalised last June – announced his engagement to the 28-year-old tattoo artist yesterday (20.01.11) after five months of dating and friends say the couple don’t plan to waste any time before tying the knot.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “Jesse and Kat don’t see any reason why they should wait to trade vows.

“They are madly in love with each other and want to make everything official.”

According to the insider, the couple are planning a “non-traditional” wedding service, which will take place outside of California in front of a small number of guests.

Meanwhile, Jesse – who has previously been married three times and has three children – has praised his new fiancee as the “most beautiful girl in the world”.

After being asked on twitter if she deserved the accolade, he replied: “Yes she is.”

The couple – who already have two-year-old Sunday Rose together – admit they had an anxious wait for the arrival of their second daughter Faith Margaret, who was born on December 28 last year through a gestational carrier.

Nicole said through her spokesperson: “We spent Christmas on tenterhooks and after Faith Margaret was born on Dec. 28, a healthy 8 lbs 9 oz, we spent New Year’s on cloud nine.”

Since bringing the new baby home, Nicole and Keith, both 43, have enjoyed having time to bond with their two daughters at their homes in Nashville and Los Angeles.

She added: “We have been having a wonderful bonding experience with Faith Margaret and feel truly blessed.”

Friends close to Nicole – who also has adopted kids Isabella, 18, and 15-year-old Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise – say she and Keith never gave up hope of having another child.

One pal said: “They never gave up faith they’d have another child together. They feel blessed. They’re just thrilled.”

Announcing Faith’s birth on January 17, the couple released a statement saying: “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret.

“No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”

Colin Firth and Natalie Portman were named Best Actor and Actress at last nights (14.01.11) VH1 Critics Choice Awards

The British actor took away the trophy for his role as Britain’s stammering King Edward VI in ‘The King’s Speech’, while Natalie was awarded for her portrayal of ballet dancer Nina Sayers in ‘Black Swan’.

Accepting her award, Natalie thanked director Darren Aaronofsky not only for his work on the film, but for introducing her to fiance, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, with whom she is now expecting a baby.

Addressing Darren, she said: “You are responsible for getting me skinny and indirectly responsible for getting me very fat, as you introduced me to my love.”

The awards are one of the first of the season, and seen by many as an indicator as to who will triumph at the Golden Globes – held tomorrow (16.01.11) – and the Oscars.

Referring to the spate of awards shows ion coming weeks, Colin said: “I will be wearing this around my neck to give me magical powers as we all enter the fray again.”

Meanwhile the biggest winners of the night were ‘Inception’ and ‘The Social Network’, with the former – a psychological thriller starring Leonardo Di Caprio – taking home six awards, including Best Action Movie, and the latter taking home he prestigious Best Picture accolade.

‘The Social Network’ was directed by David Fincher and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timerlake, and gives a fictional account of the establishment of social networking site, based around the story of internet site Facebook.

Other award winners included Christian Bale and Melissa Leo, who scooped Best Supporting Actor and Actress respectively for ‘The Fighter’, about boxer Dicky Ward, and Hailee Steinfeld, who was named Best Young Actor for her part in cowboy remake ‘True Grit’.

Johnny Depp had to be rescued from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s dog

The 47-year-old actor – who starred with the actress in ‘The Tourist‘ – is not a fan of canines, but agreed to watch the pooch so the couple could go on a romantic date, but soon regretted his kind gesture.

He recalled: “Foolishly I was persuaded to look after their dog Jacques for a night. He’s a huge bulldog. At first I had a terrible feeling, because Jacques smelt horrible.

“But then I told myself, ‘Come on, you will survive one night’. Everything was cool – until I sat down on the bed to take my shoes off. Jacques pounced on me from behind and kept jumping around on me.

“He’s not small. Around 175lbs of dog was hurled at me, which felt like about 300lbs. I shouted for help and luckily someone came to take that beast off me.”

Despite the incident, Johnny did not let it affect his relationship with the couple – who raise six children together – and he and long-term partner Vanessa Paradis, 38, enjoyed being able to socialise with them after filming ended for the day.

He told German magazine TV Movie: “We often went for dinner with them. It was great. I’ve known Brad since the end of the Eighties. It was great to see him as a man and amazing father.”

Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are going to bring “heat” to the new series of ‘American Idol’

The two singers have joined Randy Jackson on the panel after previous judges Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres left the show but Randy thinks this year’s contestants are even more talented than in previous seasons and says the new series will be better than ever.

He said: “It’s gonna be hot. You’re gonna love it. I’m telling you, trust me. There’s lots of new talent.

“Heat, that’s what they’re going to bring. Watch, you’re going to love them. Steven is mad cool. I love him.”

Along with a new panel Randy joked he has some other changes planned for the show, including a live performance and album collaboration between him, TV host Mario Lopez and rapper Lil Wayne.

He added in an interview with RadarOnline.com: “Mario’s gonna sing. We’re gonna do a hip hop album with Mario. Me and Mario and Lil Wayne are doing this crazy album. The only problem, we just gotta call Lil Wayne first.”

Jennifer Lopez has previously revealed she is excited about the talent so far – even though the lengthy audition process did take its toll.

She said: “We’ve put a bunch of people through – probably more than they have in the past.

“We have about 15-20 real superstars, people who could be recording artists.

“I’ve cried. We get a lot of elation when we put them through and devastation, almost, when they’re not. But it’s been a ball.”

Kristen Stewart is an “incredible” cook

The 20-year-old American actress stars with Garrett Hedlund in the movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s 1957 novel ‘On The Road’ and the actor admits his culinary skills will never be a match for his co-star.

Garrett told MTV News: “You got to try the tortilla soup! It’s incredible. She’s honed it.

“I’m pretty much a klutz in the kitchen. I go through waves. Sometimes I just depend on pots and pans and cook up out of convenience, and sometimes I can’t even find a fork.”

Kristen has previously revealed she loved to cook for the cast of the film – which also includes Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen and Sam Riley – saying the tortilla soup was her signature dish.

She said: “I didn’t bake; I cooked a lot, though. I think I can do a really, really good, terrific tortilla soup. That was my ‘On the Road’ dish.”

However Kristen didn’t just cook for her ‘On the Road’ castmates, the actress – who plays Bella Swan in the ‘Twilight Saga’ series, also loves to throw big parties for those involved with the vampire franchise, including her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

She said: “I get really embarrassed when people ask me what I cook, for some reason. I shouldn’t say that I cook anymore. There was like a big BBQ situation and, like, a bunch of steaks and veggies, and I made chicken piccata. I’m so embarrassed right now. But I made homemade marinara sauce starting at, like, two in the afternoon. It wasn’t done until eight. It was incredible. The ‘Twilight’ cast showed up.”

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are among the five nominees for the Orange Rising Star Award at this year’s BAFTAs

The ‘Spider-Man’ stars are joined by Gemma Arterton, Tom Hardy and Aaron Johnson on the shortlist for the prize which recognises young actors and actresses who made a breakthrough in the last year.

At the announcement today, jury member Ben Drew – aka Plan B – said: “It was a great honour to be invited on the jury panel for the Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award this year.

“I recently directed my first feature film and therefore know that there is a wealth of inspiring rising talent out there and it is awards such as these that help these guys get their names in lights.

“I am really pleased with the final five for this year’s award and I can’t wait to see who the public vote for.”

The shortlist was drawn up by a jury chaired ‘An Education’ producer Finola Dwyer which included respected figures in the film industry such as actors Peter Sarsgaard and Natascha McElhone and directors Mike Newell and Tom Ford.

‘Never Let Me Go’ star Andrew and ‘Easy A’ actress Emma are currently filming the ‘Spider-Man’ prequel playing the superhero and his love interest Gwen Stacy respectively.

They face stiff competition from Tom Hardy, who won praise for his role in blockbuster movie ‘Inception’ this year, while Gemma Arterton won plaudits for her role in ‘Tamara Drewe’ and Aaron Johnson impressed in ‘Kick-Ass’.

The eventual winner will be voted for by the public, and will collect their prize during a star-studded ceremony at the BAFTA Awards at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden on February 13.

Last year, ‘Twilight Saga’ actress Kristen Stewart picked up the accolade.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were “constantly touching and kissing” on a night out on Friday (07.01.11)

The pair – who ended their five-year romance last month – fuelled rumours they have reunited with their flirty behaviour at the opening of SHG’s Eden Hollywood when they arrived with mutual friend Brittany Snow late in the evening.

A source told People magazine: “Vanessa was bopping around with her arms up while Zac had his hands all over her. Vanessa had a smile on from ear to ear and the two were inseparable after that.”

Following their public display of affection on the dancefloor, Zac, 23, and 22-year-old Vanessa then retreated to a table – and grew even more affectionate.

The insider explained: “Zac sat in between her legs and she wrapped her arms around him. They were making out on and off for the last hour or so until closing. They acted like there was no one else in the room.”

The former couple narrowly escaped being pictured together but as the ‘17 Again’ hunk leaned in for a kiss, Vanessa pushed him away after spotting a fellow reveller with a cameraphone.

However, a source said: “They were kissing on the lips and seemed to be enjoying their night. They seem to be back together.”

When news of Zac and Vanessa’s break-up was announced last month, pals insisted the separation was mutual and they were still “good friends”.

The pair met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005.

It’s WAR at the Michael Jackson House

Michael Jackson’s estate is asking a judge to do what Katherine Jackson can’t — kick Alejandra Jackson and her kids out of the Hayvenhurst estate for good.

TMZ has obtained legal docs in which the estate is asking the judge to remove Alejandra, Jaafar, Jermajesty, Genevieve, Donte and Randy Jr. from the estate … on grounds they’re not beneficiaries of Michael Jackson’s will and have no claim to the property.

As TMZ first reported, last month Katherine Jackson told Alejandra and the kids — fathered by both Jermaine and Randy — not to return to the residence. Alejandra is refusing to move herself, her kids, and her stuff out … so the estate has gone to court.

As TMZ also previously reported, the house is scheduled to be renovated — but sources tell us Alejandra is holding the remodel hostage by refusing to leave.

Kristen Stewart and the ‘Twilight Saga’ were the big winners at last night’s (05.01.11) People’s Choice Awards

The 20-year-old actress beat the likes of Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie to win Favourite Movie Actress, while ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, the latest instalment in the vampire film franchise – in which Kristen plays Bella Swan – picked up three awards, including Favourite Movie.

Surpassing ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Inception’ for the gong, ‘Eclipse’ also won Favourite Drama Movie and Favourite On-Screen Team – for Kristen, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner – at the event, which was held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.

Kristen said: “Thank you so much, I’ve never been to the People’s Choice Awards before.”

However, Kristen’s boyfriend and co-star Robert – who plays Edward Cullen in the vampire franchise – wasn’t able to match her success, and was beaten to Favourite Movie Actor by Johnny Depp, who was awarded the coveted accolade for his role as the Mad Hatter in ‘Alice In Wonderland’.

Meanwhile, Zac Efron, 23, also beat the 24-year-old hunk to the title of Favourite Movie Star Under 25.

Elsewhere, Rihanna and Eminem also proved to be big winners on the night, taking home dual gongs for Favourite Song and Favourite Music Video for their summer hit ‘Love The Way You Lie’, while Rihanna took home Favourite Pop Artist.

The rapper further cemented his comeback to the music industry by winning Favourite Male Artist and Favourite Hip-Hop Artist.

David and Victoria Beckham have enrolled their three sons into an English private school

The soccer player and his fashion designer wife decided to enter Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz into classes at the school near their ‘Beckingham Palace’ home in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

The family are leaving their Los Angeles home for three months so Victoria can prepare for London Fashion Week in February and ahead of David’s potential loan deal to English team Tottenham Hotspur.

The school fees will cost the couple anything from £3,000 to over £5,000 a term and the three boys are set to arrive tomorrow (06.01.11).

A source told The Sun newspaper: “All the staff are talking about it – everyone in the school knows. All three boys are coming. Everyone is looking forward to seeing them.”

The 35-year-old sportsman is currently trying to negotiate a three-month loan move to Tottenham Hotspur, who are based in London, from his regular club Los Angeles Galaxy.

The source added: “The family’s stay in England doesn’t mean David has signed for Tottenham.

“It could be he won’t even sign for another club during his break from Los Angeles Galaxy.”

Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift have split up

The couple – who have been dating since October – are believed to have called time on their romance in December and spent the festive season apart.

An insider told People: “They’re over. It ended last month.”

It has been claimed the 30-year-old actor – who was previously in a relationship with Reese Witherspoon – decided to end his romance with the 21-year-old country singer because he felt “uncomfortable” with the couple’s nine-year age gap.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he’s not acting as interested. He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got.

“He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn’t listen. Jake cares about her, but the publicity was a lot for him. He wants to keep his private life private, and that’s hard to do dating Taylor.”

Only last month, the ‘Love and Other Drugs’ star admitted he gets very frustrated by the interest in his personal life because he worries it will affect his relationships.

He said: “It bothers me a little that there is so much interest.

“One of the greatest parts about being in a relationship is the intimacy you share – but it can be difficult if you’re being watched the whole time. But I understand – it’s just one of those things.”
