The couple – who are currently both starring in separate Broadway plays in New York – were recently rumoured to have rekindled their relationship, and now Sienna has been seen leaving Jude’s apartment yesterday morning (02.12.09) six minutes after the actor left.

An onlooker said: “She definitely didn’t want to be photographed but he didn’t seem to mind.”

Jude, 36, is currently in a hit version of ‘Hamlet’, while 27-year-old Sienna has been receiving rather less favourable reviews in ‘After Miss Julie’.

The pair – who separated in 2006 following Jude’s affair with his children’s former nanny – were also spotted celebrating Thanksgiving last week with a late night Italian dinner, where they shared a bottle of wine, pizza and a kiss.

A source said: “Jude has told his ex-wife Sadie that Sienna is back in his life. Sadie is calm about it, her only concern, as ever, is their children. They have never stopped caring about each other.”

The pair have both endured turbulent love lives over the past year.

Jude recently fathered a child after a brief fling with American model Samantha Burke, while Sienna embarked on a very public affair with married actor Balthazar Getty last year.

The former couple – who split up in November 2006 after the ‘Alfie’ star had an affair with his children’s nanny – fuelled speculation they have rekindled their romance during a visit to New York nightspot The Box on Thursday (19.11.09) where their intimate behaviour attracted attention.

One onlooker said: “They came in together and got a table with a few friends around 1am. At one point, Jude ordered shots for the two of them, and he was egging her on to take one. They were laughing a lot and whispering to each other – it looked like they were genuinely having a good time.

“They certainly looked like more than just friends.”

During the evening, Jude – who is currently starring in a Broadway production of ‘Hamlet’ – was approached by several women but was quick to turn down their advances.

The source added to the New York Daily News newspaper: “Jude’s a regular at The Box and a lot of people know him there so he had a ton of people coming up to say hi to him, many of them female, but he really only seemed interested in Sienna. It looked like he wanted people to see that they were together.”

The source added: “They’re desperate to keep their hook-ups secret because their break-up was so public. They don’t want any potential reconciliation all over the papers, especially with Jude having just fathered a child with another woman.”

In order to keep their secret, the couple have enlisted the help of Johnny Lee Miller, who is currently starring in ‘After Miss Julie’ with Sienna.

The source explained to Now magazine: “Jonny’s great at throwing the paparazzi off the scent. He’ll walk down the street with Sienna to where Jude’s staying just round the corner.”

A spokesperson for Jude – who is currently starring in play ‘Hamlet’ -has confirmed the former couple have met up, while the ‘Factory Girl’ actress – who still wears the diamond engagement ring given to her by the actor – has insisted there is nothing “weird” about them spending time together.

She said: “People would love to make a whole meal out of it, but I’ve seen ‘Hamlet’ twice now and there’s no weirdness for me personally that he’s there and I’m here.”
